[WEEKEND RECAP 02-22-25] I asked the other day who is the leader of the Democrats. AOC remains a big figure, right? Show me where anybody gives a crap about her. The closest person to sanity for Democrats is Fetterman.  President Trump ordered the immediate dismissal of the Board of Visitors for the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard following years of woke ideologies infiltrating U.S. service academies. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth restored Fort Liberty, North Carolina, to “Fort Bragg,” in honor of a World War II hero. President Trump instructed EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin to terminate Biden-era regulations restricting water flow and mandating inadequate lightbulb standards. President Trump proclaimed “Gulf of America Day” after the Department of the Interior officially changed the name on its mapping databases.Google Maps and Apple Maps both updated their apps to reflect the new name.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

Names are important symbols, and President Trump is trying to change, or change back, quite a few. There's the “Gulf of America” of course, but also the reversion of a military base from Fort Liberty to Fort Bragg, and efforts by his administration to erase the “T” in LGBT on government websites. Drew Goins, Molly Roberts and Theodore Johnson discuss what names say about our cultural values, and whether renaming places again and again misses the point.Additional reading from the Washington Post:What is Fort Bragg? Attorney General Rob Bonta filed another lawsuit against President Trump and Elon Musk on Thursday. This one challenges what Bonta and many others say, is Elon Musk's unconstitutional exercise of power. And, in other news, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth signed a memorandum renaming Fort Liberty, in North Carolina, back to Fort Bragg. But the namesake of the base will no longer be Braxton Bragg, the confederate general for the base was originally named, but instead an unsung hero from World War II, a private named Roland Bragg. Hegseth's act introduced the idea of flexibility in renaming debates in general and flexibility for Fort Bragg, California in particular.  We spoke leaders on both sides of the local renaming debate.

Join Jim and Greg for the 3 Martini Lunch podcast, where they break down President Trump's ultimatum to Hamas, the return of Fort Bragg's name in a clever way, and alarming reports of FBI figures allegedly tipping off illegal immigrants about ICE raids.First, President Trump is issuing a stern warning to Hamas, saying that hell will be unleashed if all hostages are not released by Saturday. His ultimatum comes as Hamas pauses its release of hostages, claiming Israel has violated the terms of the ceasefire. Jim believes Trump's anger over the condition of released hostages is evident, and they both think the vague nature of Trump's threat is a smart way to put pressure on the terrorists.Next, Jim and Greg applaud Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's decision to rename Fort Liberty in North Carolina back to Fort Bragg. The name had been familiar to many, and this change not only ends the confusion but also shifts the honor to a different individual named Bragg—a U.S. Army PFC who heroically fought at the Battle of the Bulge, rather than the Confederate general. Finally, they react to disturbing allegations that some FBI figures and other government sources are tipping off illegal immigrants about pending ICE raids aimed at removing criminals and others who are in the U.S. illegally. Jim says anyone who has a problem with the policy needs to resign or ask for a transfer. And anyone who deliberately undermines it should face stiff penalties. Please visit our great sponsors:Oraclehttps://Oracle.com/MARTINICut your current Cloud bill in half if you move to OCI.  See if your company qualifies today.

Further compounding this is June 28, or 628 - insurance awareness day. Changing reports on bullet casings, manifestoes, distance between locations, etc. is creating an even more paranoid and delusional population. The shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, on Monday added to the issue at hand. CNN reported at 12:51pm MST that 2 were killed, while Yahoo!News reported 3 dead before changing the headline again. Authorities on the scene, however, reported 5 were dead before revising the total to 3. The drone story on the east coast of the United States is similar, with people blaming Russia, China, Iran, aliens, etc., in league with the Twilight Zone episode ‘Monsters Are Due on Maple Street'. In the modern era, a lot of this began after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. More recent assassinations, not only of Brian Thompson, but of OpenAI's Suchir Balaji and Boeing's Josh Dean and John Barnett, are fueling an endless supply of conspiracy theories and calls for violent revolutionary political activism. The Kennedy story has persisted over generations because of the inconsistency of reports, outlandish narratives, fake evidence, and unbelievable official statements. It's almost as if the true purpose of the public assassination was to drive the populace crazy.Perhaps the most celebrated psyop was in World War II, when the so-called U.S. Ghost Army outwitted the Germans using inflatable tanks, radio trickery, costumes and impersonations. In what was dubbed Operation Viersen, the soldiers used the inflatables, sound trucks and phony headquarters to draw German units away from the point on the Rhine River where the 9th Army was actually crossing. Several of the last surviving members of the unit were recently awarded the Congressional Gold Medal at a ceremony in Washington.Psyop units are used for an array of missions that can range from simple leaflet drops to more sophisticated propaganda and messaging aimed at deceiving the enemy or shaping opinion on foreign soil. It's illegal for the U.S. military to conduct psychological operations on Americans. The 4th Psychological Operations Group at Fort Liberty in North Carolina somewhat recently released a video with cryptic messages and eerie statements, including “Behind every choice .... invisible hands,” “Behind every emotion, fire. Do you believe in the power of words and ideas. .. We believe.”Never knowing what is true, living on emotion, and being beholden to words and ideas seems to have driven the public into mass psychosis. Now, after all these years, a recent Vanity Fair article is perhaps suggesting yet another angle to the Kennedy assassination. One that is in line with a recent documentary called JFK X. Ryder Lee joins us for a discussion. The Front to the Films podcast is thrilled to announce our latest episode featuring a conversation with Georges Strachan-Heyes, retired British Army officer and Director of Operations for the UK and NATO at Onebrief. In this episode, hosted by Colonel Tom Rendall (USA, Ret.), Georges brings his exceptional insights in discussing The World War II Foundation's newest documentary, Dad's Secret War: France 1944. This gripping documentary, based on Scholars of Mayhem by Daniel C. Guiet and Timothy K. Smith, chronicles the daring World War II missions of Jean Claude Guiet, who served with Britain's Special Operations Executive (SOE) and America's Office of Strategic Services (OSS). His covert operations helped arm and organize the French Resistance in Nazi-occupied France following D-Day, ultimately shaping the Allied breakthrough in Europe. Jean Claude's “Salesman II” circuit team played a vital role in holding back German reinforcements from Normandy, a critical part of the Allied advance. As Georges recounts, Guiet's story adds a powerful chapter to the narrative of WWII, bringing to light the real risks and sacrifices made by the unsung agents operating behind enemy lines. On September 10, 2024, the Foundation held a special advance screening of Dad's Secret War at Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg). It was a memorable evening attended by 150 senior active and retired members of the Special Operations and Airborne communities, along with their families. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees deeply moved by this untold story of heroism and resilience. Georges Strachan-Heyes, who served as the keynote speaker, delivered exceptional remarks that resonated with the entire audience. His speech, which was so captivating and insightful that it left the room spellbound, delved into the film's themes and explored how covert actions by the OSS and SOE transformed the course of WWII. His remarks were so impactful that we immediately invited him to share more on Front to the Films. In this podcast episode, airing as a lead-up to the formal premiere of Dad's Secret War at the French Embassy in Washington, DC, on November 14, Georges joins Colonel Rendall to discuss the importance of bringing this story to the screen. He touches on themes of resilience, sacrifice, and the meticulous training and bravery required of SOE agents. Georges also reflects on the documentary's production, which involved collaboration with the Newhouse School, offering students a hands-on opportunity to explore WWII history and contribute to historical storytelling as part of The World War II Foundation's Doccumentary, Film, Photography and History Program. Their involvement reinforces the film's dual purpose: honoring the sacrifices of WWII veterans while educating future generations on the critical lessons of the past. Following its Embassy premiere, Dad's Secret War: France 1944 will be aired nationwide on nearly 300 American Public Television channels. The film, narrated by Kevin Bacon, invites viewers into the life of Jean Claude Guiet and his comrades, revealing the profound human and historical impact of their missions in occupied France. Georges and Colonel Rendall's conversation serves as an enlightening primer for the documentary, giving listeners a rare perspective on the bravery and complexities of war, and how these untold stories resonate in today's world. Join us for this extraordinary episode of Front to the Films, where we honor those who lived and served in the shadows, and look forward to the story's reach on a national scale. This conversation is both an introduction to the documentary as well as a fitting tribute to the courage that defined the Greatest Generation.

The Army is actively seeking innovative programs and ideas to address the recruitment and retention challenges it faces. One such idea is the newly designed Blended Education Program (BEP) at the U.S. Army War College. The BEP is a hybrid program that combines the best aspects of the residential program, including staff rides to Gettysburg, Washington D.C., and New York City, with the remote flexibility of the distance education program, all within a 10-month academic year. It aims to help retain talented senior officers who wish to remain at their current duty stations while furthering their professional military education. Carl Benander, an AY24 BEP graduate, and Dr. Mark Duckenfield, the director of the program, joined podcast editor Ron Granieri to discuss the program's early successes and lessons learned. The BEP offers a mix of synchronous and asynchronous learning, allowing students to interact with each other and their instructors in real time. Although still in its early stages, the BEP has been a success so far and is expected to continue and grow in the future. For more information about the Blended Education Program at the U.S. Army War College contact the director of the program, Dr. Mark Duckenfield mark.duckenfield@armywarcollege.edu I was not interested in three moves in a one- to two-year span. And so I was looking for any opportunity to to have some stability for the family. So that was really the appeal. Carl Benander is a Special Forces officer and a colonel in the U.S. Army. He is the commander of the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Liberty, NC. He is a 2024 graduate of the Blended Education Program (BEP) at the U.S. Army War College. Mark Duckenfield is Professor of International Economics in the Department of National Security and Strategy (DNSS) and at the Strategic Studies Institute and the Director of the Blended Education Program (BEP). He is the former Chair of DNSS at the U.S. Army War College. Mark holds an MA and a PhD in Political Science from Harvard University where he specialized in European political economy. He has written numerous academic articles on gold, financial crises and international political economy and is the author of the book Business and the Euro. Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Operation Market Garden: A Special Episode of Front to the Films In honor of the 80th anniversary of Operation Market Garden, we are thrilled to release a special episode of Front to the Films. This monumental military operation, which commenced on September 17, 1944, is remembered for its bold ambition, immense sacrifice, and pivotal role in World War II history. Our latest podcast delves deep into the operation's significance, the lasting lessons it offers, and its portrayal in the classic war film A Bridge Too Far. Hosted by Colonel Tom Rendall (USA Ret.), this episode features two remarkable historians: John McManus and Chris Kolakowski. Both experts bring unique perspectives to the discussion, highlighting the critical elements of Operation Market Garden. McManus, author of September Hope: The American Side of a Bridge Too Far, offers a deep dive into the American experience, focusing on the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions' efforts to secure key bridges. Kolakowski, Director of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, provides his expertise on military leadership and the tactical challenges that led to the operation's eventual failure at Arnhem. John McManus Chris Kolakowski Recorded at the JFK Special Warfare Museum at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, this episode marks a significant milestone for our podcast—it's the first time our host, Colonel Rendall, and producer John Zel have recorded together in person. The museum, with its rich historical displays and military artifacts, provided the perfect setting for this conversation. Toward the end of the episode, we were also joined by Roxanne Merritt, the curator of the museum, who shared her insights on the enduring significance of Market Garden for the Special Operations community. A fascinating part of the episode is our discussion of the museum's exhibit on Captain Arie Bestebreurtje, a Dutch officer who played a pivotal role during Operation Market Garden. Bestebreurtje, known to Allied forces as "Captain Harry," served as a liaison officer with the 82nd Airborne Division, working closely with General James Gavin. Bestebreurtje's deep knowledge of Dutch terrain and his work with the Dutch resistance were critical to the Allies' efforts to secure the Nijmegen and Grave bridges. His extraordinary bravery during the battle—including his reconnaissance missions and organization of Dutch civilians to assist the Allied forces—made him a hero in both Dutch and Allied military circles. Bestebreurtje's contributions, though often overlooked, were essential in the operation's initial successes. Our discussion also touches on the cultural impact of A Bridge Too Far, the 1977 film that brought Operation Market Garden to life for millions. Both McManus and Kolakowski reflect on the film's portrayal of the operation's highs and lows—the courage of the soldiers, the complexity of the strategy, and the ultimate disappointment as the mission failed to capture the Arnhem bridge. Despite its ambitious scope, the film captures the emotional toll of war and has become a lasting touchstone for how people remember Market Garden. Throughout this special episode, we explore the leadership lessons drawn from Operation Market Garden, emphasizing the importance of flexibility in strategy, the need for effective communication, and the valor displayed by soldiers on both sides of the operation. John McManus and Chris Kolakowski offer valuable takeaways from this historic event, reminding us that even in failure, there are crucial lessons for military leaders today. We invite you to listen to this in-depth conversation and join us in commemorating the 80th anniversary of one of World War II's most daring operations. Recorded in the heart of Fort Liberty at the JFK Special Warfare Museum, this episode is a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the soldiers who fought in Operation Market Garden. Listen now and join us in honoring the heroes of this historic operation.

General Votel served as Commander of United States Special Operations Command, US Central Command, Joint Special Operations Command and 75th Ranger Regiment; organizations critically responsible for America's Middle East operations. General Votel unpacked the reasons why Hamas chose to attack Israel, Iran's malign influence, and the responsibility of the other Gulf states in preventing regional instability. He also broke down the opportunities the United States has across the diplomatic, information, military and economic spectrum; including America's ability to mobilize for a peer-to-peer fight. The Joint Readiness Training Center is pleased to present the sixty-fifth episode to air on ‘The Crucible - The JRTC Experience.' Hosted by the Commander of Ops Group (COG), COL Matthew Hardman. Today's guest is the Sergeant Major of the Army, SMA Michael Weimer.   SMA Michael Weimer was sworn in as the 17th Sergeant Major of the Army on Aug. 4, 2023. His previous assignment was serving as the Command Sergeant Major for U.S. Army Special Operations Command at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Throughout his career he has served in a variety of positions from team member to Command Sergeant Major of Special Operations Joint Task Force Afghanistan, to Command Senior Enlisted Leader of U.S. Special Operations Command Central.   As the Sergeant Major of the Army, SMA Weimer is the Army chief of staff's personal adviser on matters affecting the enlisted force. He devotes the majority of his time traveling throughout the Army to observe training and interact with Soldiers and their Families. SMA Weimer is the public face of the U.S. Army's Noncommissioned Officer Corps, representing the NCO Corps to the American people in the media and through business and community engagements.   In this episode we discuss warfighting and preparing leaders to lead troops in combat with the US Army's most senior enlisted soldier, SMA Weimer. Army leaders must be true masters in the art of war, embodying action with confidence and resolve. While warfare is inherently a profession of deep thought, it also requires individuals who excel in the fundamentals and leaders who are experts in their craft. Non-commissioned officers are the backbone of the US Army and thus are responsible for ensuring their troops are ready for war. They do this through rigorous, realistic, and relevant training, which generates forces ready to win America's wars.  It is imperative that Army leaders, particularly our NCOs, understand the gravity of their responsibility to the soldiers they lead in combat, recognizing that their most critical resource is human lives. Training programs should be designed progressively, building upon previous training and should include multi-echelon opportunities to train at all levels concurrently. The responsibility for recruiting, training and retaining US Army soldiers sits on the shoulders of the Sergeant Major of the Army; a job in which there is no training course and where experience is the defining factor. To break down what the Sergeant Major of the Army does, the current state of the Army, and where the Army is headed, Fran Racioppi traveled deep into the center of the Pentagon for a conversation with Sergeant Major Mike Weimer, the 17th Sergeant Major of the Army and the first Green Beret selected for the role. The SMA defined professional warfighting and the importance of an all volunteer force. He broke down the art and science relationship between commissioned and non-commissioned officers. He shared how his experience in the Special Forces shadows prepared him for the limelight of the SMA role. And they talked about the future, including his vision for solving the recruiting challenge, how warfare is evolving from the kill chain to the kill web, how he's planning to retain the right people, and how the integration of Special Operations and the regular Army is more important now than ever. It's Friday, July 26th, A.D. 2024. This is The World View in 5 Minutes, written by yours truly and heard at www.TheWorldView.com. Filling in for Adam McManus, I'm Ean Leppin. Hope emerging in Indonesia International Christian Concern, or the ICC, reports that residents living near the Tesalonika Church in Indonesia rioted and demanded that the church cease its worship activities. The footage of the rioters went viral on social media this week. A representative of the church stated that the church had been gathering inside a home because their lease for their previous place of worship had expired. Churches that meet in larger cities in Indonesia can generally worship openly; however, churches in smaller villages are increasingly challenged, threatened, and attacked. The ICC goes on to say, “Muslims are increasingly leaving Islam to follow Jesus, and devoted Muslims are taking notice. At the same time, religious tolerance is increasing in Indonesia and some churches are finally gaining approval to construct their own buildings after years and even decades of waiting.” Please pray to praise God for the growth of Christianity in Indonesia and to give boldness and strength for those who continue to face persecution. Jesus prayed for the church in John 17:16-19: “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.” Pro-life groups branded terrorists? Are pro-life Americans and groups branded as terrorists by the US Army? In a word … yes. Lifenews.com reported that journalist Sam Shoemate exposed a terrorism briefing held at Fort Liberty where they listed several pro-life organizations as terrorist organizations. Shoemate posted this on X on July 10th. They specifically named US Right to Life and Operation Rescue as terrorist organizations. The military facility has since recalled the slide that was in the presentation and revised it. In their own post on X, they said, “After conducting a commander's inquiry, we determined that the slides presented on social media were not vetted by the appropriate authorities, and do not reflect the views of the XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Liberty, the US Army or the Department of Defense. These slides will no longer be used, and all future training products will be reviewed to ensure they align with the current DoD anti-terrosism guidance.” Ted Budd, a senator from North Carolina, issued a letter in response on July 12th, saying, “The Army must fully renounce this attack on pro-life Americans and conduct a full investigation to ensure similar materials aren't being used at other installations.” It has been revealed that these slides have been in use for the past 7 years at Fort Liberty. Articles of impeachment filed against Kamala Harris WGN News reports that six Democrats have joined House Republicans in voting to condemn the Biden administration and Vice President Kamala Harris in her role as US border czar. Earlier this year, GOP Lawmakers impeached Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his failure to secure the border. Representative Andy Ogles from Tennessee has filed articles of impeachment against Harris. In an interview with Fox News Representative Ogles said this. CLIP: "We have a crisis…failure" Ogles goes on to say that this is not only his duty, but that time is also of the essence! CLIP: "I have an oath…if you will" Romans 13:1-2 says, “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.” First US House member to deliver floor speech using AI voice clone As reported by AP News, a rare neurological disorder called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, or PSP, took the voice of Representative Jennifer Wexton from Virginia. A new AI technology made it possible for her to speak before the House on Thursday! Rep Wexton spoke as a voice for other people with disabilities during Disability Pride Month. She also became the first House member in history to speak using an AI clone of her own voice. Here is part of her statement. CLIP: "I also never…so much more" Boy in foster care allowed to stay with disabled brother Finally, reported on Good news network.org, Dawson and his older brother Dalton were two brothers who were in the foster system together. Staying together was very important to Dawson because his brother Dalton has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, is non-verbal, and a quadriplegic. Keeping them together in the adoption process would be very challenging! But thanks to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a couple from Florida, and the grace of God, the boys are now together and in a new home with a loving family. That couple is Steven and Robbin. Robbin says that she couldn't have asked for better sons. She says, “Dawson is the person he is because he got the opportunity to keep his brother. It's half of him-that's his heart.” As for Dawson, he wants to grow up to be a doctor so that he can take care of people that have needs similar to that of his big brother. It's Friday, July 12th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Hindu extremists strangle pastor's son to death In the middle of the night on July 7th, Hindu extremists broke into the home of Pastor Sushil Kumar in India's Bihar State and killed his teenage son as he slept, reports International Christian Concern. Tragically, as Nilesh Kumar slept, the attackers broke his hands and strangled him to death. They then dragged the body of the pastor's only son outside and hung it from a nearby bamboo tree.    For years now, the Hindu extremists had been harassing the Kumar family, verbally abusing and pressuring them to abandon their faith in Christ. After Pastor Kumar filed several complaints with the police, members of local high-caste communities threatened to kill his son.   Although Christians are often attacked and even killed for their faith in India, such attacks are rare in the Bihar State. According to Open Doors, India is the 11th most dangerous country worldwide in which to be a Christian. Biden's latest gaffe: Refers to Zelensky as Putin President Joe Biden drew gasps Thursday evening when he introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin” — confusing him with the Russian tyrant whose forces have invaded Ukraine for the past two-and-a-half years, reports the New York Post. Listen. BIDEN: “And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination.  Ladies and gentlemen, President [Vladimir] Putin. “ Many in the auditorium appeared to wince as the words left the president's lips. World leaders onstage appeared unsure of whether to clap to welcome Zelensky or wait for Biden to correct himself, which he did. BIDEN: (Smattering of applause)  “President Putin? We're going to beat President Putin. President Zelensky. I'm so focused on beating Putin, we've got to worry about it. Anyway, Mr. President.” ZELENSKY: “I'm better!” Democrat Senator urges Biden to withdraw In light of Biden's obvious mental decline, Colorado Democrat Senator Michael Bennet is one of the first senators to publicly urge the President to withdraw from the 2024 election, reports RealClearPolitics.com. BENNET: “If things stay as they are, it's likely that Donald Trump will win the election and we will lose the Senate and lose the House." Actor George Clooney tells Biden to step aside Actor George Clooney wrote a devastating column in the New York Times yesterday.  The headline read, “I love Joe Biden, but we need a new nominee.” He wrote, “It's devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe Biden of 2010. He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.” To his shame, George Clooney and Julia Roberts were front and center at a Hollywood fundraiser that raised $30 million to help Biden and the Democrats in their reelection campaign. Australia's Sky News host Liz Storer didn't buy Clooney's claim that he just now realized how mentally unfit for the presidency Joe Biden truly is. STORER: “What a fraud! We're supposed to believe, that, all of a sudden, just over the last three weeks, George Clooney has been like, ‘Wait a minute!' “Where have you been the last four years while this poor, old man has slurred and stumbled his way through the most prestigious and important high office in the world? I don't buy for a second he's just come to his senses and been like, ‘Well actually, three weeks after raising $30 million for the Dems, I have to dis-endorse him now. I just can't go through with it.' “He always knew! They all always knew. The mainstream media, the guy's press secretary, everyone who works for him, his friends and family – they all knew the President has been struggling for a very long time. So, this pretending, ‘I've just had my come-to-Jesus moment.' Great act, George Clooney! That's what you do for a living.” Biden continues to vilify pro-lifers as extremists Military officials under the Biden administration continue to teach that their peaceful political opponents are violent extremists, according to a report about a terrorism presentation given to U.S. Army members at Fort Liberty, North Carolina (previously known as Fort Bragg), reports LifeSiteNews.com. Sam Shoemate, an independent journalist, tweeted on Wednesday evening a photograph of a slide he said was shown during an anti-terrorism briefing, right after one about the Islamist terror group ISIS. The slide names the pro-life groups National Right to Life Committee and Operation Rescue as “terrorist groups,” characterized by their opposition to abortion and the 1973 Supreme Court case of Roe v. Wade. Oddly enough, the Biden officials spelled the famous Supreme Court case client as R-O-W instead of R-O-E.   While the power point slide lists various types of peaceful activism pro-life groups typically practice include sidewalk counseling, Life Chains, and picketing, it also cites “Bombing of Clinics” and “Attempted Murders” which are not only highly rare and have always ben overwhelmingly condemned by mainstream pro-life activists. Truth be told, in recent years, pro-abortion violence has been far more common than violence from those who want to end abortion, as admitted by FBI Director Christopher Wray in November 2022. Arkansas Secretary of State rejects pro-abortion ballot initiative On Wednesday, the Arkansas secretary of state rejected an effort to place a constitutional amendment to enshrine abortion on the November ballot, saying organizers failed to submit some required paperwork with its signatures, reports NBC News. Isaiah 64:8 says, “But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of Your hand.” ‘God's Not Dead' returns with new sequel urging Christians to vote And finally, with just a $1.5 million budget, the movie “God's Not Dead” made $60 million in profit which sent a clear message to Tinseltown that it had ignored the Christian audience hungry for uplifting and positive messages. A decade later, producers are gearing up for the fifth installment of the film franchise. The new movie entitled “God's Not Dead: In God We Trust,” hits theaters nationwide Sept. 12 and “explores the intersection of faith, politics, and our civic duty,” reports FaithWire.com. RONALD REAGAN: “If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.” MOVIE PASTOR: “Now more than ever, Christians must realize that we are being called to deliver hope to a country that's feeling hopeless. Faith begins where your comfort zone ends. We need to step out into that faith.” Coming at a time of cultural chaos — a time when people fear cancellation and other social ills — “God's Not Dead: In God We Trust” tackles the importance of standing up for one's beliefs and taking action to have a positive impact. Proverbs 29:2 states, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.” Watch the trailer for “God's Not Dead: In God We Trust” through a link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. //The Wire//1830Z July 11, 2024////ROUTINE////BLUF:  CHINESE ACTIVITY INCREASES SUBSTANTIALLY IN THE TAIWAN STRAIT. CONTROVERSIAL ARMY TRAINING PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS GROWING CONCERNS.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-France: A fire broke out in the spire of Rouen Cathedral in Normandy yesterday evening. The cause of the fire within this 12th century cathedral remains unknown.Far East: Chinese activity in the Taiwan Strait substantially increased overnight. 66x PLA aircraft and 7x PLAN vessels were reported to be operating in the area by Taiwanese forces. AC: This is a significant increase in one day's observed PLA activity, with some sources claiming it's a new record for the number of PLA aircraft observed in single day.South Pacific: Conflict and civil unrest reignites in New Caledonia as demonstrations against French forces increase. Riots have increased over the past few days in response to a police shooting on the outskirts of the capitol of Noumea.-HomeFront-North Carolina: Controversy has erupted following a training event at Fort Bragg (currently named Fort Liberty, due to the revisionist name-change DoD policy). Leaked images of Powerpoint slides used during the training event indicate that units are labeling peaceful pro-life groups as terrorists, not just “extremists” as they were previously categorized. The leaked training product makes many false claims, and is directly hostile towards Constitutionally protected activities such as peaceful protests, picketing, etc.Following this controversy, an official statement by the XVIII Airborne Corps (posted on the Fort Liberty Facebook page) has disavowed the training product and the ideology contained on the slides. However, as these slides came from the unit responsible for installation access and security, it is not clear as to if gate guards were using this guidance to conduct unlawful, ideologically-motivated searches, flag certain license plates in their databases, or otherwise commit other Constitutional violations. It is also not clear as to if military law enforcement were using this guidance in the gathering of intelligence on US Persons as defined by EO 12333 or DoD Regulation 5240.01, which specifically states that Defense personnel “may not investigate U.S. persons or collect or maintain information about them solely for the purpose of monitoring activities protected by the First Amendment or the lawful exercise of other rights secured by the Constitution or laws of the United States.”-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: Many may not see the value in the significance of a Powerpoint presentation that was prepared by a random soldier, and already disavowed by higher leadership. However, this scandal is par for the course with regards to the recent ideological indoctrination that has run rampant through the military over the past few years. As the election creeps closer, and the inevitable militarization of our nation's Capitol comes to fruition during this time, it would be wise to consider the atmospherics of how soldiers in some units view Constitutionally protected rights.Though this specific situation is a somewhat minor case study and must be treated as such, in a larger sense this is not an isolated incident. In all likelihood these highly controversial Powerpoint slides are probably a holdover recycled from the “Extremism Standdown” that swept through the DoD a couple of years ago. As a reminder, this was an 8-10 month training campaign to push the one-sided idea that most conservative ideas are extremist in nature. Whether this latest anti-conservative, anti-American scandal is representative of an escalation of official DoD policy remains to be seen, but this indoctrination would hardly be surprising at this point….the jump from labeling peaceful American citizens as “extremists” to labeling them as “terrorists” seems to have occurred
