El Partido de la Liberación Dominicana anunció que se opondrá a la reducción de fondos a los partidos políticos que propuso el presidente Luis Abinader la semana pasada.El principal partido opositor dijo que se trata de una propuesta populista del presidente Abinader, y que no la podían aceptar como buena y válida.“Es una propuesta populista y muestra un alto grado de improvisación en su ejecutoria gubernamental porque ya hemos visto que somete un presupuesto y luego da marcha atrás”, dijo el presidente del PLD, Temistocles Montás, en una conferencia de prensa.La posición del PLD fue fijada en una reunión del Comité Político de la organización morada, celebrada en su casa nacional.El PLD señala que no hay razones válidas para que se produzca esa reducción del dinero al 50%, como estableció el presidente de la República para la construcción de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo en el municipio Santo Domingo Este.2- El senador de Pedernales, Dionis Sánchez, señaló que la propuesta del presidente Luis Abinader de reducir los fondos asignados a los partidos políticos se debe tener en cuenta que fue el extinto líder del Partido Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD), José Francisco Peña Gómez, quien planteó esa idea.Sánchez recordó que en el momento que se instituyó el financiamiento estatal a los partidos políticos se buscaba reducir la desigualdad que existía entre la oposición y el oficialismo para hacer política por la ausencia de recursos.El legislador afirmó que la Fuerza del Pueblo fijará una posición oficial al respecto tras concluir una reunión de su Dirección Política.Sánchez también defendió el fondo para asistencia social o "barrilito", bajo el argumento de que ellos ayudan con las necesidades que el Estado no resuelve a la población. Advirtió sobre el supuesto peligro de que el narcotráfico se apodere de los partidos si se les reducen los montos.3- El miembro del Comité Político del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), Francisco Domínguez Brito, respondió este martes a la propuesta del presidente Luis Abinader de reducir en un 50% del financiamiento a los partidos políticos.Brito aseguró que no es momento de parches. De manera que si es necesaria la austeridad debe aplicarse de manera general, dijo.“No es sólo un punto cuando hay otros en los que también se requieren”, señaló.Afirmó que todos los recursos del Estado deben invertirse en crear riquezas y empleos.4- El Ministro Administrativo de la Presidencia, José Ignacio Paliza, consideró que fue una decisión "positiva y correcta" la adoptada por la ministra de la juventud, Kinsberly Taveras, de dejar su investidura y ponerse a disposición de la justicia para aclarar sobre su declaración jurada de bienes.“Lo importante es que la compañera Kinsberly ha tenido el tino, ha tenido la oportunidad de colocarse frente a la justicia, de dejar el poder o la investidura que le da la posición que ocupaba para decir aquí estoy. Estoy dispuesta a que me escudriñen que me investiguen y no tengo nada que ocultar”, dijo el funcionario para luego calificar diciendo “creo que eso es una actitud positiva y a la vez correcta”.Aclaró que no hubo presión por parte del Gobierno, sino que fue una decisión “muy de ella”.5- Ante los reclamos de diversos sectores de que se castigue a los funcionarios públicos que supuestamente cometieron actos de corrupción durante la pasada administración, la procuradora General de la República, Miriam German Brito, dijo este martes que el encarcelamiento no se puede tomar a la ligera.La procuradora explicó además que los funcionarios que han sido citados por el órgano persecutor para indagar sobre su declaración jurada ha sido por el monto de sus patrimonios.Entre los actuales y pasados servidores públicos citados para esta semana por la Procuraduría figuran la ex diputada Lucia Medina, el senador Félix Bautista y la ministra de la Juventud, Kinsberly Táveras.6-El delegado del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD) en la Junta Central Electoral (JCE), Danilo Díaz, consideró para que sean creíbles los nuevos integrantes en el órgano electoral, el proceso debería ser a base consenso.«Si nace con duda ya viene con un pecado original y eso hay que evitarlo, en ese sentido, nosotros hemos planteado, que no se trata de independiente o que sean simpatizantes de un partido político, esa no es la preocupación que tenga la sociedad dominicana», expresó el dirigente político.7- Con la presencia del presidente Luis Abinader, varias entidades del Gobierno y el Ministerio Público firmaron un memorándum de entendimiento Interinstitucional con la Organización de las Naciones Unidas contra la corrupción y la transparencia administrativa.El pacto fue suscrito por la directora de Ética e Integridad Gubernamental, Milagros Ortiz Bosch; If Biden had won the media would be calling for more debate thinking it would help Biden in the election, the fact they are arguing against further debates indicates that Biden lost. How you judge the debate depends on what kind of election you think this is. If you think this election is about swing voters then the debate was a disaster and think that Trump lost. If you believe that there really are not any undecided voters to win over, this election is about the turnout of the base. If that is the case you think Trump won as during the debate Trump got Biden to rebuke the policies of the far-left of the Democrat base who already lack any excitement for Biden. The truth is we won't know what kind of election this is until after election day.
