"We've moved from big bundles to à la carte chaos—there's a middle ground that offers real value and differentiation," says Chad Dunavant, EVP & Chief Strategy and Product Officer at CSG. Subscription-based services have reshaped the way businesses generate revenue and how consumers engage with brands. But has the explosion of subscriptions created more frustration than convenience? Chad joins Technology Reseller News to discuss the next evolution of subscriptions, telecom monetization, and customer engagement. The Subscription Economy: A Double-Edged Sword Subscription models provide businesses with predictable, recurring revenue streams, allowing them to scale efficiently. Consumers originally embraced subscriptions for their flexibility and ease of use. However, as Dunavant points out, many customers now find themselves drowning in multiple subscriptions, leading to frustration, bill confusion, and declining brand loyalty. From Bundles to Fragmentation – The shift from cable TV mega-bundles to fragmented streaming services has created consumer fatigue. Confusion & Lack of Transparency – Many customers are unaware of price increases or struggle to manage multiple services. Loyalty at Risk – Brands must balance monetization with clear value propositions or risk losing long-term customers. Telecoms & The New Opportunity in Subscription Monetization As telecom providers move beyond connectivity, they are uniquely positioned to bundle value-added services like streaming, cloud solutions, and enterprise tools. Dunavant highlights how telcos can use their scale to negotiate wholesale partnerships with digital service providers, creating discounted, frictionless experiences for consumers. Power of Wholesale Agreements – Telecom providers can secure better pricing for consumers by bundling third-party services with connectivity. Monetization Beyond Connectivity – New revenue streams include integrated streaming, cloud apps, and AI-driven services. Personalized Engagement & Billing – AI-powered billing solutions can proactively notify customers of changes, reducing call center frustration. In the first episode of the show featuring co-host Christopher Callahan, Chris interviews the host of the show and the President, Founder, and Focus ROI Strategist of Paradiem, Eric, and his wife, Angel Dunavant. Generosity is more than an action; it's a mindset. As parents, Eric and Angel agree that it's crucial to teach their children about stewardship and the understanding that everything they have is a gift. This perspective is rooted in their belief that everything belongs to a higher power, and they are merely caretakers of these blessings. This approach has been central to how they've raised their children.Eric and Angel have always believed that the true joy of generosity is witnessed in the impact it has on others. They've made it a point to involve their children in stories and experiences that showcase the positive outcomes of giving. Whether it's through selecting gifts from charity catalogs like Samaritan's Purse or Compassion or filling shoeboxes for children in need, these tangible acts of giving have allowed their children to see the difference they can make.In sharing these insights and personal stories, their hope is that you, too, can see the transformative power of generosity. It's not just about the act of giving but about the spirit in which we give and the lessons we pass on to the next generation. Let's give our children the permission to live generously and the example of a cheerful heart, for in doing so, they are shaping a future filled with kindness, compassion, and a true sense of community. To learn more about Eric and Angel's work, click HERE and HERE.If you'd like to be a guest on the Kingdom ROI: Return on Intention podcast, click HERE.

Your host, Christopher Callahan, talks with the President, Founder, and Focus ROI Strategist of Paradiem, Eric and Angel Dunavant. The discussion began with an earnest conversation about the fundamental values that motivate entrepreneurs. It is held that the welfare of one's family and the legacy one leaves are of utmost importance. The achievements sought in the boardroom should not eclipse the cultivation of one's domestic life. Eric and Angel divulged their battles with the isolation inherent in entrepreneurship and its impact on their marital relationship – a situation many can empathize with.An alarming 70% of Americans admit to feeling lonely, which is presumed to be even higher among entrepreneurs. The discussion delved into how the burden of responsibility and the significant risks involved in managing a business can foster a sense of detachment. Personal stories underscored the challenges of sustaining friendships and the often-neglected necessity for a community that grasps the distinct stresses entrepreneurs endure. To counteract the loneliness, Eric and Angel spoke about their initiative – the Entrepreneur Supper Club. Stemming from a wish to confront solitude, this group offers a haven for entrepreneurs to connect, exchange their experiences, and support one another. They recounted how participants quickly felt comfortable sharing openly, underscoring the significant influence of a setting devoted to sincere engagement. An important takeaway from the discussion was the acknowledgment of the distinct obstacles entrepreneurial couples faced. Many existing business networks fail to address the support necessary for both spouses. The conversation highlighted the value of involving both partners in the community, to ensure that the entrepreneurial path is a shared venture. To learn more about Eric and Angel's work, click HERE and HERE.If you'd like to be a guest on the Kingdom ROI: Return on Intention podcast, click HERE.

Sabbath Lounge Interviews Karyn Dunavant about her new book Why We Eat by Debarim Publishing. From a young age, Karyn has been involved in and fascinated by the preparation of food. She grew up in a fundamentalist non-denominational Christian assembly, in which she heard a lot of scripture read...and misapplied. In both cases, what was taught lacked the substantial nature of integrity that she was made to long for. Learning to cook involved a number of commercially prepared food products, and the Christian teaching offered a packaged lifestyle that satisfied just about as little. As an adult, released from this particular sect, she tested out doctrines of other forms, both for church and for food. At the age of 30, The Word introduced Himself. As her Nourisher, Teacher, Deliverer, Protector. As He detangled religion from truth, she received a full, integral faith, not limited to parts of her being. Through the discipline of learning to perceive The Word in everyday experiences, she realized that He was more than a book--He was The Bread and Living Word that carried the integrity worth trusting, and the wholeness that she'd been pursuing through physics health and fitness...yet missing. Karyn is a wife (of 14 years) to Drew, and mother of 5. They have received from Abba an 1880 farmhouse (which they are slowly restoring) in Richmond, VA, on 5 agricultural acres—in the middle of a small-lot residential subdivision! Their desire to pursue integrity by The Word together has been tried and blessed, on repeat. Their desire is to work hard, live simply, and render hospitality and all Good Things Abba places into their hands—willingly, at all times. Karyn's pregnancy and childbirth experiences have deepened her faith in YHVH as her One Care Provider, Protector and Deliverer. She longs for all mothers to experience the shalom of receiving this personal and perfect care that can only be enjoyed by a true and integral faith, and that The Bride of Yeshua would receive her inheritance of integral well-being by remaining under a single Authority. Delivered and forgiven of idolatry, she enjoys receiving strength through fitness, and learning better ways to cultivate and prepare Good Things for her family. The Hirschbach tagline is "not your typical trucking company" and when you see one of their trucks driving down the road, you know exactly what I'm talking about. From their trucks to the company building, Hirschbach uses graffiti-style branding that draws attention in all the right ways but it's how they value their drivers that keeps that attention from wandering elsewhere.Established in 1935 with more than 85 years in the industry, they know a thing or two about running a recruiting department. Which is why I was stoked to sit down with marketing and social media manager Bianca Sanchez at the beautiful Gaylord Resort in Orlando, Florida.
