The Electric Universe model holds that there is a relationship between the Sun, planets, and perhaps the “lesser sun” we now know as Saturn. The relationship between these planets is electric vs. gravity-based in nature. Anciently,   Earth would have been a very different place to live this period of time is referred to as the “Golden Age”. Understanding the origins of mythologies and man's relationship with the ancient sky has much more meaning when understood through the lens of an Electric Universe model. There would have been different shapes of plasma discharges emanating from heavenly these bodies and these heavenly bodies became deities, marks of the season or even a harbingers of destruction.  We here at Lost River Legends, we have reached out and developed a good relationship with Michael Armstrong. He is a key member of the Thunderbolts Project. In the project's infancy he was at the crossroads and rubbed shoulders with Anthony Parrat, David Talbot, Wal Thornhill and others.  He is a major proponent of the Saturnian Reconstruction movement which acknowledges an alternative cosmology of a “polar configuration” of Saturn, Venus and Mars. Some of the theories held by Velikovsky in “Worlds in Collision” have been supported by additional research from Wal Thornhill and others; there has been some very strong evidence to suggest we live in an Electric Universe. Michael Armstrong is an original member of the thunderbolts.info editorial staff and has a formal science background in chemistry. He has studied the catastrophism reconstruction model for over 40 years and has lectured on catastrophism material at an international conference sponsored by the province of Milano, Italy and hosted by the University of Milano/Bergamo. Michael is the producer of various related video material and publisher of the books Thunderbolts of the Gods, The Electric Sky, and The Electric Universe. Michael Currently spends his time pondering the bigger questions about who we are in the universe and how do we find peace and understanding in this chaotic world. His passion is philosophical and spiritual in nature. You can find his work on the subject at IfISeeU.com. He also runs Mikimar Publishing which can be found at: mikamar.biz  Other helpful links: https://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/2016/05/11/michael-armstrong-the-culture-shock-of-planetary-catastrophe-eu2015-talk/ https://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/

Can you make sense out of press releases and TV programs that attempt to explain the newest astronomical ‘discoveries’ – things like invisible dark energy, warped 11-dimensional spaces, and black holes that spit out matter If not, you have lots of company.  The time to search for some realistic, intelligent, scientific answers has arrived. And those sensible answers are out there for those who are ready to listen - explanations of those answers are in this book.  Astronomers have been ignoring electrical activity in space for years. Their inability to generate sensible explanations for many observations made by state-of-the-art astronomical instruments demonstrates they need to study the properties of electrical plasma in the cosmos.  If, as we will claim, the causes of most of the observed phenomena of modern astronomy are electrical in nature, do you need a degree in electrical engineering before you can understand them? Indeed not. The average informed person can understand and make rational judgments about these ideas. All it requires is the time and patience to read and to think logically and critically about the issues. Some basic facts and a few new concepts will suffice. The main goal of this book is to convince you, the reader, that you really do have both the capability and responsibility to make informed, critical judgments about the pronouncements of establishment science. A careful reading of these pages will enable you to make an informed assessment of this new, simpler, plasma-based alternative cosmology.  give it a'listen In case it isn't obvious, this book was a Candace Pick. Despite that, the gals had pretty much the same opinion of the book: meh. Who knew that a book about outer space being full of electricity and terror (Ash's editorializing) the book wasn't very palatable for us laywomen. Tune in for us imagining Billy Mays hawking a book about alternate cosmology, a brief visit from Matthew McConaughey, and a teeny Best Friend Fight (BFF) about whether or not Breatharianism is bullshit. Mentioned Links In this book Donald E. Scott said they didn't exist, buuuuuuuuuuuut there's brand new photographic proof of their existence here. Neat stuff!Breatharianism. We talked about it, Candace is interested in it and Ash is not having it at all. Wanna know what the hell we're talking about? Point: Ray Maor is a famous breatharian who has a lot of info on that lifestyle. Counterpoint: How Stuff Works has a nice article that sums up criticisms of the lifestyle. Have thoughts? Let us know! Wide Awake Stories turns 1 year old, and we celebrate the occasion by dropping some big news about changes to EDC Las Vegas 2018. In short, new dates, new hours, new stages, and an entirely new camping experience. We can’t wait to party with you under the (much cooler) Electric Sky! First up on the show, AC Slater gives us the goods on his forthcoming artist album, ‘Outsider,’ and how Night Bass has gone from a small L.A. club night to a world-renowned institution. Humberto Guida, published author and OG raver, breaks down the sometimes-dirty-but-always-entertaining history of his own Florida scene, and former Big Time Rush vocalist James Maslow talks about how dance music helped shape his musical maturation. Our very own Ms. Easy breaks down the creativity, passion, and logistics behind Insomniac’s performer program, and our in-house music guru Sam Yu interviews Ghastly, Joyryde, and Habstrakt about the songs that sparked their love of electronic music. And last but certainly not least, special shout-out to our friends at Perfectomundo Tequila for being the unofficial official sponsor of our birthday party! Got a story you want to share? Welcome to a special EDC Las Vegas episode of Wide Awake Stories! Kicking off this month’s show is a sit-down with Tony and Forrest of Team Bassrush, the squad responsible for delivering the audiovisual mayhem that is bassPOD. With 2017 being the last year featuring the fire-breaking dirty robot stage design, the guys discuss what’s next for bassPOD and how the brand has grown over the years. Next up, we check in with world-famous DJ Dave Ralph—who just happens to be Insomniac’s own Head of Talent—about what goes into curating dance music’s biggest lineup of the year. Spoiler: It’s more complicated than you think. In a very revealing interview, the Queen of Techno herself, Nicole Moudaber, previews her Moodzone takeover of neonGARDEN, as well as the way her fans and their feedback have impacted her personal life. One of more than 150 Headliner couples getting married at EDC this year, Ryan and Lindsey of San Jose drop by Insomniac HQ to tell the story of how they met and run down their massive wedding party guest list, which includes their parents. To close out our EDCLV special, Grant from the Monstercat crew blesses us with a 10-minute mini-mix previewing the label’s Kalliope Art Car takeover. We’ll see you Under the Electric Sky! Filmmaker Kyle Olson visits Movie Addict HQ to discuss Letters to Ashleigh, his moving documentary based on a real-life tragedy involving the murder of teenager Ashleigh Love. This unusual documentary shows how one girl’s death inspired an entire community to make a change. A red-carpet premiere for the movie is scheduled for August 9, and proceeds from this event will be donated to Ashleigh’s family to help them spread the word about Ashleigh’s story in order to bring the perpetrator of this senseless murder to justice. Film critic Mack Bates will co-host this special episode.   During Letters to Ashleigh, family members read letters they received in the days and weeks following Ashleigh’s death – first from close family and friends, and then total strangers from around the country who heard about the story. The film gives audiences a glimpse of a family that was hit with an unimaginable tragedy but still found a way to persevere with their heads held high.   Among Olson’s film and TV credits are the following: Director of SMHS: 007 Writer/director/producer of Lights, Camera, Camp! and The Robert & Rosie Show Production staff on Under the Electric Sky, Face/Off, America’s Top Model, Dancing with the Stars Audience warm-up for The Voice, The X Factor and The Sing-Off   Olson was honored with a Crystal Pillar Award by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Chicago/Midwest Chapter.

If I learned anything from this weekend, it's to love the sound of my own voice - uh oh. No, I learned to love the sound of YOUR voices! It's not the most perfect podcast, but it comes from the heart and mind of a Canuck in "paradise" who's had a few too many drinks with a whole bunch of crazy techno-geeks and podcasting-junkies. And I mean that in the BEST WAY! A big shout-out to Julien Smith from Montreal (his show is In Over Your Head http://www.inoveryourhead.net/ - excellent), one of the 5 Canucks at the conference. We quit the Saturday night party to record ourselves reading In Flanders Fields for Mark Blevis of Electric Sky (http://www.electricsky.net), hard to say if we made the deadline with the time change and such. But it was pretty damn cool. Stuff I loved and people who make me proud to be a podcaster: CC Chapman - Accidental Hash Doug Kaye - IT Conversations Noah Glass - ODEO Dave Slusher - Evil Genius Chronicles (look for clips of his inspiring talk on the next episode of rabble radio) ---and I'm leaving it there or else I'd have to type 'till dawn.
