I'm incredibly excited about today's episode. I had the privilege to interview one of my favorite producers/artists, Mr. Aaron Sprinkle. Aaron is a singer, songwriter, composer, and record producer. He's done dozens of records that have been put out by Tooth & Nail Records (Anberlin, The Almost, Emery, Ivoryline, Dead Poetic, Copeland, MxPx, Hyland, etc.) as well as other classic albums (Acceptance, Every Avenue, New Found Glory, Pedro The Lion, Story of the Year, etc.) The list really does go on and on. Aaron shared some of his experiences making some of these records. He talks about the early days of Tooth & Nail and how he became acquainted with them as one of their most prolific producers. We talk about making the record "Phantoms" by Acceptance and how unique that time period was. We discuss the song-writing and creative prowess associated with the band Anberlin, and we even talk about social media. Aaron plans to release a new solo record in the near future, and we talk about how the landscape of the music industry has changed and how this will affect the new release. It was an honor being able to speak with Aaron, he really is one of my favorite producers and has been for two decades now. I've spent countless hours listening to his solo work as well as all of the bands he's worked with over the years. I really hope you enjoy this conversation as we peak behind the hood of what it's like to be a producer behind the scenes as well as in the spotlight. Enjoy! In this episode, Julia Rosenthal, EY Global Analyst for Advanced Manufacturing, shares her insights about the key themes discussed by leaders during the second quarter public earnings calls. As COVID-19 became a global threat in the first quarter of 2020, manufacturers had to make some very complex decisions. For advanced manufacturing companies, the second quarter proved to be just as difficult as the first one. This was the quarter in which some of the most widespread lockdown activities were taking place around the world. Companies reduced costs and shifted their focus to long-term growth, as COVID-19 caused many of their customers to shut down operations. Key takeaways: On financial initiatives — some manufacturers said that they would remain committed to their R&D investments while others pulled back as part of cost-reduction strategies. Share buyback and dividend activities have picked up. Operating costs — many companies raised the targets in their cost management programs. Leaders talked about restructuring programs, more offshoring of operations and new automation efforts. Culture and talent — overall, there has been a greater focus on enterprise-level cost savings from reduced headcount.

We're excited to have Pete back in the house. He and I vibe so well on a vast variety of subjects. Our topic today; the three stages of divorce, takes us on an interesting podcasting journey. Scary that we think so much alike. Maybe brothers from different mothers back in the day. A binding contract, rent me for Valentines Day, we are all mammals, no self-identity and comparing people to our ex's all dominate the conversation here. Stay awhile and take a listen….

You may not yet know her name, but TJ Evans is no stranger to music. Her musical heritage includes great uncle Peter Bocage, one of the great trumpeters of New Orleans history, and piano giant Eddie Bo. TJ's grandmother was an opening act for Ray Charles, and her mother spent years touring as a vocalist with George Clinton's Brides of Funkenstein. With the release of her latest singles on May 31, Evans continues in that long family tradition. Recording “Paradiso” with her uncle Cordell “Boogie” Mosson of Parliament Funkadelic, TJ showcases her unique, soulful sound. She also recruited legendary MC Grandmaster Jay to collaborate for “Shakey Ground.” These two tracks hint at great things to come from an artist coming into her own. TJ Evans began playing music at the age of 14, influenced by not only by the soulful R&B of artists like Luther Vandross and Patti LaBelle but also the crunching rock of Pantera and Metallica. Before embarking on her own music career, the Indianapolis-based guitarist spent time as a freelance music journalist, traveling the Midwest to interview and photograph such artists as George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Amuse, Remember Paris, and Every Avenue. With a passion for rock and roll, R&B, funk, and blues, TJ has fused together her own kind of soulful rock. A tall, lanky figure with visible tattoos, the audience hardly knows what to expect when she grabs her guitar and gets on stage. Her gritty vocals, raw guitar and deep grooves quickly dispel any thoughts that her sound is anything but her own. Off stage, TJ Evans can appear to some as quietly reserved, despite her travels, her passion and her sincere belief in what matters to her most. But there's a good reason for that silence - her music has already said it all.

What can I say. Another week another podcast. Were closing in on the end of 3 years of podcasts and Paulie and Evan have aged like a fine wine. Smoother and more full bodied! Speaking of smoother. Paulie and Evan are asked the age old question, Should I or Shouldn't I shave? And they're not talking about your face! They also give you the lowdown on the newest big brother, this is sure to heat up the winter! All this and more!! This week's DVD reviews show that Evan can find DVDs that he loves. And yes he does watch them all the way through with no Fast forwarding! The first DVD is "Breakers" by Titan Media, which is rated a tidal wave 4 splats! The second DVD is "Too Many Boys" by Bel Ami. there can never be too many hot euro boys? Evan agrees with a 4 splat rating. Paulie agrees with our customer reviews and gives the Butt Plug Cockring Harness an astounding 5 splat toy rating! An of course this weeks MTFT is "A Story to tell your Friends" by Every Avenue.
