In today's episode, I break down the power of strategic networking, time management, and the mindset that drives success. I share my approach to hosting meetups in 200 cities, the importance of asking the right questions, and how understanding time and relativity can maximize productivity. I explain why non-negotiables like sleep, family, and financial awareness set the foundation for sustainable growth. I also discuss how prioritization and adaptability create harmony in life, allowing for success without burnout. Through personal experiences, I reveal how mismanaging emotions and reacting poorly to circumstances can derail even the best opportunities and how shifting perspective changes everything.

As we continue our Every Minute Matters series, Pastor Zach highlights the importance of running the race of faith with endurance, inspired by Hebrews 12:1-2. Life isn't a casual stroll—it's a purposeful race that requires focus and determination.Don't miss out on the incredible things God wants to do in your life and the lives of others!
In this fourth part of the Every Minute Matters series, Pastor Joe discusses the need to fill ourselves with God. Drawing from Isaiah 55, he highlights God's invitation to satisfy our spiritual hunger. The three points are: the wonder of the invitation, the responsibility of the mission, and the urgency of the moment. This message challenges listeners to reflect on their faith commitments and recognize the transformative power of their actions within their communities.
In this teaching, Pastor Zach explores the transformative power of the early church as described in Acts 2:42-47 and its relevance today. Emphasizing the importance of community, devotion, and collective faith, Pastor Zach challenges everyone to consider how God wants to change their personal worlds through the church. By outlining three key steps—changing verbs, pronouns, and expectations—his message encourages individuals to embrace a more profound commitment to their faith and to believe in the potential for extraordinary change in their lives and communities.
In this teaching, Pastor Joe emphasizes the importance of passing faith to the next generation, focusing on three key points. First, How to Pass It On highlights the responsibility of each generation to actively listen and share God's teachings to ensure faith endures. Second, What to Share underscores the need to recount God's deeds, might, and wonders through personal and biblical stories of His faithfulness. Finally, Why It Matters reminds the audience that every child is a vital link in the chain of faith, stressing that families and churches are only one generation away from either thriving or closing, with the urgency of this mission framed by the fleeting nature of time.
Pastor Zach kicks off our Every Minute Matters series by highlighting the importance of being intentional in our spiritual journey, drawing from Ephesians 5:15-21. Time is not neutral and without effort, we naturally drift away from God. By internalizing three key truths—recognizing the cultural currents that pull us away, making proactive choices to stay close to God, and fostering a community that encourages spiritual growth—we can resist distractions and move closer to God.

"This is the best job I could ever imagine," North Dakota U.S. Attorney Mac Schneider said on this episode of Plain Talk. Schneider was appointed to that position by President Joe Biden. Later this year, when America elects a new president, he may be out of a job, depending on how the country casts its ballots. A Republican president isn't likely to keep a Democratic appointee, but if Vice President Kamala Harris wins, would Schneider want another term in the office? He says yes. "I'm grateful for every minute I have in this job." My co-host Chad Oban and I asked Schneider about whether his office has seen any local blowback from national politics, where the FBI and the Department of Justice have, in recent years, been accused of political bias by both Republicans and Democrats. FBI Director Christopher Wray, who has rejected demands to resign from former President Donald Trump, the man who appointed him, and who recently visited North Dakota, has frequently been at the center of interparty food fights. Schneider says national-level drama has had little impact on federal law enforcement operations in North Dakota. "Not at all," was his reply to our question. "In North Dakota, the FBI is, rightly so, seen as law enforcement," he said. "I don't pick that up at all that there's any distrust of federal law enforcement here in North Dakota," he continued. We also asked Schneider about the recent federal prosecution of former Republican state Sen. Ray Holmberg, which resulted in a guilty plea to crimes related to traveling to Europe to pay for sex with minors. Schneider was recused from the case by the Department of Justice because he, like Holmberg, served the Grand Forks community in the state Senate. "You can just about imagine how I feel," he said when asked what it was like to watch someone he worked closely with plead guilty to those crimes. Also on this episode, Oban and I discussed school schedules, and how their complexities can make things hard for parents, and also the on-going struggles of the North Dakota High School Activities Association to deal with terrible, often bigoted behavior at sporting events. Every minute, your heart pumps about 1.5 gallons of blood, keeping everything running smoothly. Your body also sheds around 30,000 dead skin cells, making room for new ones. Your brain fires off millions of electrical signals, helping you think, move, and feel. You take about 12 to 20 breaths, bringing in oxygen and getting rid of carbon dioxide. And, your cells create and use energy, keeping you going strong all day long! #brightside Animation is created by Bright Side. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music from TheSoul Sound: https://thesoul-sound.com/ Listen to Bright Side on: Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/0hUkPxD... The clock is now ticking for the coalition to correct its failure to fund 13 potentially life-extending cancer treatments beginning this year. In this week's Focus on Politics, Deputy Political Editor Craig McCulloch takes a closer look at National's broken cancer commitment - and considers how the government could put it right.

No better time to join and show your commitment to the Torah. Click on the link to join this program. https://chat.whatsapp.com/ EJFtV50LPJq44X7o0nthnN Hashem values life so much. The halacha says that if a person has a condition that is potentially life-threatening, it's a mitzvah to desecrate Shabbat to save his life. The quicker people act to help him, the more praiseworthy they are. If there is any risk of life, a person is not even allowed to ask a rabbi if it's permitted to desecrate Shabbat because every second counts. There are many details to these halachot and everybody should learn them. But from this one halacha , we see the value Hashem gives to life. Even though violation of Shabbat is one of the most severe sins in the Torah, when it comes to life, it's even a mitzvah to desecrate it. Every second counts. A Hatzalah member told me he received a call from a shul. When he arrived, the rabbi there told him that a congregant looked very bad. The man was sweating and experiencing chest pains. The Hatzalah member immediately recognized that this man was having a heart attack. The man told the Hatzalah member he was not going to a hospital under any circumstances. The Hatzalah member tactfully told him to just step outside for some air. While they were outside, he gave him medication that would slow down the process of any further artery clogging. Then, an ambulance pulled up and the man was asked to get on just to take an EKG. The test showed that he had full blockage in one artery and majority of another. The Hatzalah rushed him to the hospital, and he was immediately taken in for surgery. His heart stopped while on the operating table, but baruch Hashem, they were able to revive him and save his life. The surgery was a success, and the man was able to go home just two days later. The doctor said afterward, if this man was not given medication to slow down the heart attack and was not rushed to the hospital like he was, he would not have survived. The Hatzalah member who arrived first and administered the medication told me that this particular case was especially dear to him. Over twenty years ago, when he was in day camp, he was very shy and had a hard time making friends. A young man who worked in the kitchen, who was his brother's friend, took him under his wing and made sure to help him have friends. He would call him into the kitchen occasionally and give him ices to give out to the boys and it was only because of him that this Hatzalah member was able to make friends then and keep them. Now, over two decades later, this Hatzalah member was the one who administered the medication to this same man who had helped him in camp live a happy life. Now the Hatzalah member helped this man continue on with his life. Hashem works in amazing ways. Every deed we do is remembered and rewarded. Every minute of life is valuable. Hashem values our lives so much and we have to do the same.

Uncle Si and Big Dave, John–David's dad, compare stories from their military experiences, which prompts Si to fondly relive his time at basic training. Big Dave reveals that he used to work with Willie and expected that he wouldn't amount to much, though Big Dave is happy he was proven wrong! Nothing fires Martin and John–David up like talking about fried food and Big Dave holds the title of master fryer and outdoor cooking guru. The boys give advice to a fan who coincidentally asks for advice about running his own fishing and tackle shop. https://drinkag1.com/duck — Get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D & 5 FREE travel packs with your first purchase! - Learn more about your ad choices.
