Los de Míchel comenzaron su sueño de Champions League con una derrota por la mínima tras un error de su guardameta Gazzaniga.Los gerundenses cedieron en el minuto 90 ante el París Saint-Germain por culpa de un gol del lateral zurdo portugués Nuno Mendes, cuyo disparo, aparentemente inofensivo, se coló entre las piernas del meta del conjunto catalán, el argentino Paulo Gazzaniga.En su debut histórico este miércoles en la Liga de Campeones de fútbol, el Girona neutralizó gran parte del partido al PSG, que, antes del afortunado tanto de Mendes, había contado con tres grandes ocasiones de Ousmane ...

Além do PSG, estão na competição Mônaco, Brest e Lille.  A primeira fase é de pontos corridos, com as oito equipes melhor classificadas passando diretamente para as oitavas de final e os times que ficarem entre o 9° e 24° lugar disputam o chamado play-off.Na terça-feira, os primeiros jogos sete jogos foram marcados pela goleada de 9 a 2 do Bayern de Munique sobre o Dínamo de Zagreb, quatro deles marcados pelo atacante inglês Harry Kane. O time alemão desde a estreia já se mostra um forte candidato ao título.Mas o Real Madrid, maior vencedor da Liga dos Campeões, também deixou seu recado logo na primeira rodada. Teve dificuldades contra o alemão Stuttgart, mas acabou vencendo por 3 a 1, com Endrick fechando o placar.  Ao canal do Real Madrid, o ex-palmeirense falou da alegria de marcar seu primeiro gol com a camisa merengue na Liga dos Campeões. Quem também fez bonito foi o Mônaco, que jogando em casa, superou o Barcelona por 2 a 1.  Quem mais sofreu na estreia foi o Paris Saint-Germain.O time que chegou à semifinal da temporada passada da Liga, recebeu o Girona, da Espanha. Só no final da partida, depois de uma falha do goleiro Gazzaniga no chute cruzado do lateral esquerdo Nuno Mendes, o time parisiense conseguiu a vitória e os três pontos importantes para um bom início de campeonato. A partida foi tão difícil, que o treinador espanhol do PSG, Luis Enrique, fez uma comparação curiosa ao ser questionado sobre o que disse ao treinador do Girona, Michel Sanchez Muñoz ao final do confronto no Parque dos Príncipes."Bem, no final da partida, eu disse a ele que sofri mais do que um parto. Eu participei de alguns partos, mas obviamente eu não era o protagonista. Em outras palavras, sofri muito por causa do jogo, da necessidade de vencer e para conseguir três pontos.
