Guild Esports PLC (LSE:GILD, OTCQB:GULDF) CEO Jasmine Skee joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share an in-depth look at the company's impressive annual results. These figures paint a picture of extraordinary growth and strategic prowess. One of the most striking achievements is the impressive 44% increase in gross profit, catapulting it to a substantial £3.99 million. Alongside this, there has been a noteworthy reduction in losses, which now stand at £4.5 million. These financial metrics underscore Guild Esports' unwavering commitment to not only achieving profitability but also sustaining it. In addition to the improved financials, the company recorded record-breaking revenues of £5.53 million, a significant surge from the previous year's £4.4 million. This robust revenue increase sends a clear signal that Guild Esports is poised for expansion and is well-prepared for future scaling endeavors. Guild Studios, introduced just last year, has emerged as a resounding success story. The venture has effectively collaborated with renowned brands such as Samsung Mobile and Sky Glass, firmly establishing Guild's position as an activation agency of choice within the industry. Moreover, Guild Esports has expanded its sponsorship portfolio with the addition of new partners, including a substantial technical partnership with Humble. The company has witnessed a remarkable 20% increase in sponsorship and has welcomed six new collaborators, further solidifying its thriving presence in the eSports sector. Skee highlighted the strategic emphasis placed on emerging platforms like TikTok. This strategic focus yielded impressive results, doubling viewership figures to a remarkable 145 million impressions and fueling significant growth in channel visits. As the company looks ahead to 2024, Guild Esports maintains high expectations for sustained revenue growth. The commitment to cultivating strong partnerships remains unwavering, and the company is actively exploring opportunities in the MENA region, aligning its strategies with the momentum gained in 2023. #proactiveinvestors #guildesportsplc #lse #gild #otcqb #guildf #JasmineSkee #eSportsNews #GamingIndustry #AnnualResults #StrategicPartnerships #RecordRevenues #TikTokStrategy #GamingCommunity #CSGO #FortniteGaming #SimRacing #eSportsWorldCup #HumblePartnership #SkyBroadband #GamingTrends #BrandCollaborations #GamingCenter #TechPartnerships #GenZAudience #MENAExpansion #FutureofeSports #RevenueGrowth #GamingInnovation #2024Outlook #investing #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Good morning from London where the markets are looking very steady indeed owing to it being Independence Day in the USA. Here in the good old UK though Sainsbury's shares have dropped a little this morning in response to a first-quarter update. The grocer is sticking to its full-year guidance and says food price inflation is showing signs of easing off. Airlines Wizz and Ryanair saw a positive start to Tuesday meanwhile, as both reported a jump in passenger figures for June, with the latter setting a new monthly record of 17.4mln. In housing, the boffins over at JP Morgan are saying this morning that homebuilders need to be wary of risk in the current slow market. Centrica shares look to have shrugged off warnings to the sector over paying out dividends, as regulator Ofgem looks to prevent further energy company collapses. Elsewhere, Yahoo is reportedly set to launch a multi-billion-dollar IPO, marking a return to public markets after being spun out of Verizon in 2021. And in small caps, Guild Esports shares jumped after announcing it would take part in the 2023 F4 Esports Championship. #ProactiveInvestors #FTSE100 #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
Good morning from London where Friday is off to a bit of a slow start, with traders still ruminating over yesterday's 0.5% UK base rate hike. Big name mortgage lenders are due to meet chancellor Jeremy Hunt today in what is described as “collaborative” event after the government resisted calls to intervene directly in the mortgage market. On the FTSE 100 GSK is the biggest gainer this so far this morning, after the pharma giant settled a cancer lawsuit for heartburn treatment Zantac that had been due for US trial. Hotel Chocolat has issued its second profit warning in as many months, and is warning of a "minor loss" this year as consumers continue to seek out cheaper alternatives. Audioboom has also had a tough start to the day, warning of lower than expected profits this year as the pandemic podcast craze continues to unwind. Among the small caps, David Beckham-backed Guild Esports has signed a one-year partnership deal with the gaming chair specialist Secretlab. #ProactiveInvestors #FTSE100 #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
The FTSE 100 is up so far today, ahead of plenty of potentially market-moving news this week that includes US inflation figures on Tuesday as well as interest rate calls by the Fed and European Central Bank. The CBI has predicted this morning that the UK could escape 2023 without falling into recession, forecasting growth of 0.4% for the year. Turning to equities now, Mike Ashley's Frasers Group has started the week by acquiring a 18.9% stake in online electricals retailer AO World, as part of a strategic partnership. Hotel chain Travelodge is set to be put up for sale by US Hedge Fund GoldenTree for £1.2bn, amid strong demand for affordable accommodation. CVC Advisors Ltd has pulled out of a bid to buy payment solutions provider Network International, leaving Brookfield Asset Management as the last potential buyer. And with the small caps, shares in Guild Esports jumped after it announced a new partnership with Fanatec to operate high-tech racing simulators at its London headquarters. #ProactiveInvestors #FTSE100 #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Derek Lew of Blue Star Capital #BLU interviews Meinhard Benn, CEO of Satoshi Pay about Pendulum, its smart contract network dedicated to connecting fiat payment networks to decentralised finance (DeFi) networks. Background to the private presale of Pendulum's PEN token Pendulum is an open-source blockchain built on the stable and existing Substrate framework that aims to establish the missing link between fiat and the DeFi ecosystems through a sophisticated smart contract network. It is intended that Pendulum will connect DeFi to the foreign exchange market, building automated market makers (AMMs) to introduce scalable liquidity pools for fiat currencies, and create yield earning opportunities for fiat token holders. SatoshiPay started the development of Pendulum in April 2021 and later, in May 2021, received an R&D grant from the Stellar Development Foundation to advance its development. The first prototype of Pendulum, which features a bridge to Stellar and AMM, similar to that found in Uniswap, is now available on SatoshiPay's internal Pendulum testnet. SatoshiPay expects that the next stages of development for Pendulum will include a public testnet and mainnet, the introduction of sophisticated smart contracts to the Stellar network while simultaneously adding a set of robust fiat assets to the Polkadot/Kusama ecosystem. Pendulum has raised $5 million for its further development by the private sale of PEN tokens. The directors of the Company have been advised that the funding allows for SatoshiPay to be contractually retained to continue to develop Pendulum. About Blue Star Capital Blue Star is an investing company with a focus on new technologies. Blue Star's investments include SatoshiPay Limited, a payments business using blockchain technology; 6 early-stage to mid-level esports companies, including Guild eSports plc, a global eSports business headquartered in London whose lead investor is David Beckham and Dynasty eSports Pte Ltd., an eSports platform with a mission to become the largest eSports franchise in Asia; Leaf Mobile Inc., a mobile leading free-to-play mobile games group; NFT Investments plc, a company that engages, partners, incubates and develops non-fungible tokens; and Sthaler Limited, an identity and payments technology business which enables a consumer to identify themselves and pay using just their finger.
