Welcome to Mysteries to Die For and this Toe Tag.I am TG Wolff and am here with Jack, my piano player and producer. This is normally a podcast where we combine storytelling with original music to put you at the heart of mystery. Today is a bonus episode we call a Toe Tag. It is the first chapter from a fresh release in the mystery, crime, and thriller genre.Today's featured release is Guilty by Association by TG WolffGuilty by Association is legal mystery. While waiting for the results of an internal affairs hearing, Miami detective Seth Rizk returns to Indiana to repay a debt posthumously. The retired cop who once helped solve the Rizk family's greatest tragedy has been found dead under suspicious circumstances. He leans into the resources of his twin brother Jakob, the interim attorney general for Indiana. But Seth's sins in Miami follow him north, and Jakob is caught in the storm. His campaign team issues an ultimatum: cut ties with your brother or lose the election.Bottom line: Guilty by Association is for you if you like mysteries that are a well-blended mix of heart, brains, and tensionThe story is told from alternative points of view. Seth Rizk is a detective in Miami who faced an internal panel after rearranging the face of Detective Edward Bridges. On leave without pay, low on funds, and sick of his own company, Seth is the white night who does mind his cape getting dirty.Jakob Rizk unwillingly became the interim attorney general for Indiana and now is embroiled in a campaign to keep the job. With too many commitments, a wife pregnant with twins, and a brother in danger of losing his career, Jakob is the white knight who makes sure his cape stays the color of snow. The mystery is about the suspicious death of Captain Declan Jameson, retired. Jameson was living at a high-end rehab facility after a car accident rearranged one of his legs. After no-showing on a date, he was found days later washed up on a drainage pipe. Originally ruled an accident, Seth investigates and finds that something does stink. The trail leads straight web of fraud, theft, ambition—and a motive worth killing to protect. When this was recorded, Guilty by Association was not out. I am going to share a few excerpts from reviews of the first book, Murder on Site, that talk to the storytelling style."Perfect pacing, memorable characters, and liberal doses of danger and deception -- and humor -- will keep readers thoroughly entertained and engaged. Highly recommend." - Hall Ways Blog"I loved how the story kept making me question what justice actually means following the law or doing what is right. Overall, this book feels like one of those hidden gems which is fast-paced, thought-provoking, and hard to put down." - Sudeshna Blogs"Great characters and an intriguing murder mystery land this book on my list of top books of the year! While the subject, a tragic murder, is serious, the author works quite a bit of humor into the story through dialogue. I happily read this book in one sitting, riveted by its pages." - Guatemala Paula Loves to ReadGuilty by Association is the 2nd book in the Rizk Brothers Legal Mysteries series. This is a series where reading the first book is the best idea – not for the mystery but for the stories and backstories of the characters.Guilty by Association was released from Tule Publishing and is promoted by Partners In Crime Tours and is available from online book retailers.Amazon KindleB&N NookApple BooksKoboGoogle PlayAbout TG WolffTG Wolff has never been able resist a good puzzle. With an engineer's mind for logic and a lifelong love of mysteries, she crafts whodunnit stories that challenge readers to outsmart her detective. Her books are filled with quirky characters, red herrings, and—because she firmly believes solving (fictional) murders should be fun—a healthy dose of humor.TG earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in civil engineering, learning early to see every problem as a mystery and each solution as the answer the result of asking the right questions. That same curiosity drives her fiction, where nothing is ever accidental and every detail counts. When she's not plotting fictional crimes, TG is a mystery reader and reviewer, and the co-creator / co-host of the whodunnit mystery podcast Mysteries to Die For. A Cleveland, Ohio native, she now lives in northeast Indiana with her husband and two sons, where dogs and mysteries are always welcome.Join my e-letter, On the Prowl. As global attention is held by the US, Iran, and the Strait of Hormuz, in the West Bank, Israeli settlers are running wild and spreading terror. Settler violence has been a problem for years, but recently it has ramped up, with attacks happening daily. On top of this the Netanyahu government is approving more settlements in West Bank and implementing more legal writs to force Palestinians from their land. In April, a handful of EU states decided to speak out and called for the suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement, on the grounds that Israel was not upholding human rights. This week, we look at the rising level of settler violence in the West Bank, the approval of new settlements, the ties between Israel and the EU, and if the tide is turning against Israel at the EU. To discuss the violence in the West Bank, we speak with Yara Asi (@Yara_M_Asi), Assistant Professor of Global Health Management and Informatics at the University of Central Florida, and co-director of the Palestine Program for Health and Human Rights, and author of How War Kills: The Overlooked Threats to Our Health And to guide us through the workings of the EU's workings with Israel, we speak with Isabel Ruck (@isabel_ruck), Head of Research and Scientific Corporation at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Paris (@CarepParis). Ep150, How To Have Gods Life Living In You, Part 48 Spiritual Warfare and the Tri-Part Nature of Man: A Discourse by Tony Alamo This broadcast features Pastor Tony Alamo's critique of institutional religious power and his theological explanation of the human composition. The discussion moves from allegations of historical misconduct by the Papacy to the practicalities of global ministry and the necessity of spiritual rebirth. Detailed Summary Institutional Critique and Media Censorship Pastor Tony Alamo presents a sharp critique of the Vatican, characterizing it as a political and "anti-Christ" organization rather than a purely religious one. He alleges that the Papacy exerts significant influence over global media and legal systems, leading to the censorship of "negative" but "truthful" discourse on Christian television networks. Alamo specifically cites rules from broadcasters like God TV and Pan American Broadcasting that prohibit content condemning specific governments or faiths, which he views as a mechanism to protect the Vatican from exposure. Furthermore, he makes grave historical allegations, claiming the late Pope had ties to IG Farben and the production of chemicals used during the Holocaust. Broadcasting Restrictions Identified No Negative Content: Prohibition against speaking negatively of specific governments, leaders, or faiths. Documentation: Requirement for IRS non-profit determination letters and Form 990. Legal Attestation: Mandatory statements from CPAs or attorneys regarding church operations. Source: Analysis of broadcast requirements Theological Framework: Body, Soul, and Spirit A significant portion of the discourse is dedicated to the "tri-part" nature of human existence, mirroring the triune nature of God. Alamo explains that humans consist of a physical body (dust), a soul (containing the will and worldly desires), and a spirit. He argues that after the "fall," the soul seeks to rule the body through worldly temptations. True salvation, according to Alamo, is the process of the human spirit being reunited with and strengthened by the Holy Spirit. This spiritual union provides the believer with the dominion necessary to subject the soul's desires to the will of God. Global Ministry and Personal Anecdotes The broadcast highlights the international reach of Alamo's ministry, featuring letters from followers in Nigeria, Ghana, and India who report spiritual transformations and request large quantities of Bibles and literature such as "The Messiah." In a shift toward personal history, Alamo recounts his interactions with prominent figures, including a critical reflection on former President Bill Clinton. He describes meeting Clinton in Arkansas and introduces him to Dolly Parton, but later expresses resentment toward Clinton's political actions and personal comments, viewing them as ungrateful and indicative of a broader move toward religious intolerance. One Family Church, one of the St. Louis region's fastest-growing congregations, is committed to “bringing people and God together in love.” Once again, during their Leadership Chapel, Dr. T. D. Stubblefield delivers an inspiring and challenging message. He seamlessly weaves together the timeless truths and permanent principles recorded in Acts 4:13. His message encouraged the church's key leaders and staff by exploring what it means to “be with Jesus” or in other words, to be "guilty by association.” Listen, reflect, and be blessed!

One of the trucking industry's biggest events, the biennial Guilty by Association Truck Show at 4 State Trucks in Joplin, Missouri, is officially under way at Exit 4 off I-44. With hundreds of trucks in attendance (organizers expect 800+ to participate in the Saturday night convoy), the massive show sprawls across multiple businesses, including 4 State Trucks itself, the Joplin 44 Petro and Pilot truck stops across state highway 43, and more. No matter what your taste in trucks is, you're certain to find what you like on display. There's no shortage of antiques, cabovers, Peterbilts, Kenworths and everything in between. Most of the trucks are no doubt workers, but there are also some true showpieces on display: https://www.overdriveonline.com/custom-rigs/podcast/15767972/guilty-by-association-truck-show-under-way-in-joplin In addition to the beautiful iron exhibited, there's plenty to do around the show, including big-rig burnouts, a truck and tractor pull, concerts, Trucker Olympics and more. Friday morning, officials from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration were on hand for a Q&A with attendees. See more from that next week. For now, drop into this Overdrive Radio conversation with Overdrive Senior Editor Matt Cole, on hand covering the show after a round of rough weather had participants hard at work day 1 Thursday, September 26. On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we are joined with Juliette Bryant, a courageous survivor of Jeffrey Epstein's vile sex trafficking operation. Lured by the promise of a modeling career, Juliette was instead ensnared in a web of calculated evil. She was abused, exploited, and flown to Epstein's private island where countless others suffered the same fate. This is more than a scandal. It is a moral reckoning. And yet, the full, unredacted Epstein list, containing the names of powerful men who enabled or participated in this wickedness, remains sealed. Why is that?Donald Trump promised the American people he would release it. Now, he mocks those demanding it, calling us “bad people” and “weaklings.” Well, it's actually bad and weak to fail to release the Epstein list, Mr. President. But we will not be intimidated. The righteous are commanded to expose darkness, not negotiate with it. Trump's evasiveness increasingly resembles guilt. It's certainly not strong leadership. We will not be silenced. Not by politicians, not by media, and not by fear. We demand the truth.--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/products/the-bible-study-physical?srsltid=AfmBOoq6zS6i2LVAaJq4sRAuJqL9WZWgV03ccH9c4dufm2XMD0ozmV5S

Guilty By Association Part 5: Church & State Bill Corley Original Air Date: 2023.08.06 What is your experience with churches and Christians? Most, if not all, of us have had a variety of experiences ranging from good to downright awful. In many cases, the bad experiences have caused people to completely reject Christ, at worst, or maintain a passive belief in God at best. Either way, it was pain from people who say they follow Christ that was the reason for their decision. When we include the atrocities committed by the “church” throughout history, a large percentage of people feel justified in their opinion of us – and rightly so. So when we were trying to decide what our next series would be, we hit on asking you... we posted to Facebook the question: “What are the issues today the church should address?” and the replies flew in. Our next series, “Guilty by Association” is a series built on the questions and comments we received from you and the general public and will tackle some of the hardest issues the church faces. We will cover questions about biblical history, sex scandals in the church, politics, etc. We encourage you to invite your friends who also wrestle with these issues in church history who would like to hear the truth. If you have missed a message or are viewing from home, you can catch weekend services on our Facebook page and YouTube by going to www.crossroads-ridgecrest.org or through the church app. We also have podcasts available by looking up Crossroads Community Church - available on several podcast apps. Guilty By Association Part 3: Haters Bill Corley Original Air Date: 2023.07.23 What is your experience with churches and Christians? The security clearance application asks for a lot of information - and requires security clearance holders to name names. And those names can cause a lot of anxiety if you have shady relatives, neighbors, and friends. When do security clearance holders need to worry about their associations - and when are they okay? It's worth noting that the form asks for references, relatives, and individuals to verify information about the applicant - not to catch your criminal relatives or make you feel bad about your origins. As the trans community and trans advocates wage war on everyone and everything that doesn't accept their agenda blindly, gays are getting taken out by friendly fire. This quasi militant trans movement that forces Americans to take sides is losing. It's clear people aren't ready for this trans insanity, and are frustrated by the constant battle. Sadly most people don't know the difference from the main stream gay American culture versus trans teachers with triple F prosthetic boobs and take their resentment out on the entire community. Trans people are fighting hate with hate and it's starting to push the gay progress backwards. They're taking us down on their sinking ship and we have to separate ourselves so the country understands we are not them and they are not us.
