Chris Hemphill of Modular Feedback, who builds AI for a living, and Heather Nairn, a healthcare economist who reads this as an access problem first. The reflex across the industry is to point AI at the mess. Standardize the data, set some agents loose, let the model sort it out. Hemphill and Nairn tested that reflex against a plain deterministic workflow on exactly this job. The workflow won on accuracy, on speed and on cost. Their point is not that AI is useless here. It is that the most useful skill in this work is knowing when not to reach for it. The deeper problem is structural. Provider data is a commodity. Every payer and every health system chases the same handful of fields, guards its copy as proprietary, and rebuilds the same record in parallel. Many years before Anno Hideaki remade the ending to his audacious but unfinished sci-fi TV series with an avant-garde theatrical tour-de-force in The End of Evangelion, Tomino Yoshiyuki blazed the trail with The Ideon: Be Invoked, providing the full ending Space Runaway Ideon never got on television in spectacular (and spectacularly violent) fashion. Alongside its companion film, A Contact – which recaps the story of the TV series – Be Invoked completes the Ideon experience in the most purely Tomino ways imaginable, with incredibly intense action, an absolutely astonishing amount of bloodletting, and, in the end, a transcendental vision of collective human consciousness breaking free from these shackles we call bodies. It's finally time to discuss what is almost certainly Tomino's best-known and most widely renowned work outside the world of Gundam: 1980's Space Runaway Ideon, the 39-episode TV series that begins with a relatively similar premise to Mobile Suit Gundam – a ragtag crew of space colonists flee an invading army, with a mysterious and powerful mecha in tow – before quickly spinning into much stranger, darker, and more philosophical territory. In fact, Ideon might be something closer to a horror anime than a traditional mecha show. But however one defines it, Ideon is undoubtedly one of Tomino's finest hours, bold and brutal and artistically extraordinary at every turn. For today's show, we look specifically at the original TV series, which ends abruptly (albiet distinctively); on next week's episode, we'll look at the two films Tomino and Sunrise produced in 1981 to recap and ultimately finish the story. In deze aflevering van de podcast ga ik in gesprek met Sergio van der Pluijm (1970): trainer, auteur, coach en oprichter van Bureau Bewezen Effect. Sergio studeerde in 1996 af in de Algemene Sociale Wetenschappen en werkte vijftien jaar in het reclasseringsveld als trainer, opleider, supervisor en coach. Als mindfulnesstrainer, opgeleid door SeeTrue, gaf hij trainingen in meerdere gevangenissen. Rond diezelfde tijd ontdekte hij ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), volgde diverse opleidingen, paste de methode eerst toe op zichzelf en vervolgens in zijn coachpraktijk. Sinds 2013 leidt Sergio coachende professionals op in het werken met ACT. Ideon Technologies CEO Gary Agnew joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share details about news technology that was born out of the TRIUMF, Canada's national particle accelerator, laboratory. Agnew telling Proactive the science behind the artificial intelligence that provides x-ray-like visibility up to 1 km beneath the Earth's surface. It then detects subsurface muons and transforming the data into reliable geophysical surveys and 3D density maps. Agnew also told Proactive, the technology can identify and image anomalies such as mineral and metal deposits, air voids, caves, and other structures.

Estudiante de la escuela alemán en Madrid, universidad de Business Administration y Master of Science por la London School Economics, has trabajado como consultor en Londres para una empresa de servicios financieros, en Suiza para una empresa de consultoria financiera, como Director general a nivel europeo de IDEON, empresa encargada de soluciones financieras y sobretodo, y por lo que más me interesa, CEO y cofundador, junto a su hermano, del broker Darwinex, afincado en Londres y desde el cual llevas años levantándolo hasta tener ya casi 40 empleados si no me equivoco. Hoy entrevistamos a Juan Colón. ¡Muy buenos días Juan! Empecemos por el principio: . Juan, dado tu curriculum, como te definirías. Es decir, imagínate que te tengo que esto es una entrevista de trabajo para una entidad bancaria que hace trading y me tienes que explicar qué relación has tenido a lo largo de tu vida con el trading y los servicios financieros relacionados. ¿Como lo contarías? . ¿Porqué te decantaste por montar un broker? . ¿Crees que es difícil en los tiempos que corren, ser honesto? . Ahora que no nos escucha nadie. ¿Es jodido tener al regulador vigilando todo el rato? Matizo la pregunta, ya que con “jodido” me refiero que es mucho papeleo para arriba y para abajo. . ¿Qué opinas de las regulaciones de otros países? . Hablando de esto. Si sale finalmente Inglaterra de la Unión Europea, ¿qué haréis en cuanto a la regulación? Volverás a Suiza a vivir? . ¿Qué regulación y cómo tiene que sacársela una persona que se quiera operar para terceros en la FCA? . ¿Como se empieza una Startup dedicada al fintech? ¿Qué pasos se han de seguir? .
