Two years ago today we launched the No Midnight Podcast, the show that would evolve into two unique podcasts. Theme Park Pulse & Unpacked. This week - we take a look back. No Midnight Podcast is now No Midnight Media, and this channel is now Theme Park Pulse! In this trailer, the guys explain to you (and Albie) just what the heck is going on around here! For more information head to themeparkpulse.com - PRESS RELEASE The team at No Midnight Media, are excited to announce a new name for the No Midnight Podcast, which debuted in February of 2017. Effective Friday, December 14, 2018 No Midnight Podcast will become Theme Park Pulse. Theme Park Pulse (along with Unpacked, which is now on its own channel) are spin-offs of the original No Midnight Podcast, which explored the culture, history, and fan experience of theme parks and related media and entertainment in a talk format. Theme Park Pulse launched as a weekly feature in June 2018, released every Monday to catch the Monday morning “drive time” demographic. Conceived as a short (under 15 minutes) theme park news/culture digest, featuring breaking news from the world of theme parks and related media, short form interviews with special guests and experts, and the popular Parks Planning Forecast, with crowd levels and refurbishments for the coming week in the domestic parks. Theme Park Pulse quickly became the most popular show on the channel, which has experienced an overall download growth of 400% compared to 2017. This success has inspired the No Midnight Media team to rename the channel Theme Park Pulse! Not only is the name a much better representation of the brand as a whole, but is substantially more SEO (search engine) friendly. Beginning on January 1, 2019 Theme Park Pulse will air two shows a week. On Tuesday, the classic Theme Park Pulse, and on Friday, January 4, 2019 a new show debuts called Theme Park Pulse - Weekend Edition. The new program will feature the same short-format look at parks news, and the Parks Planning Forecast for the weekend ahead. A shortened Friday Fan Forum round-table discussion will become a regular segment at the tail end of Theme Park Pulse - Weekend Edition. During which, our team, and various guests will help us dive deeper into the issues affecting fans of #ParksPopCulture. Kory, Executive Producer at No Midnight Media says, “We found that when we released the show on Monday, by the time people listened...the news was outdated. A majority of parks news drops on Mondays, so we are pivoting so that we can bring the most up-to-date information to our listeners! Adding the super-interactive Friday Fan Forum to the end of Theme Park Pulse - Weekend Edition will give the listener the option to just get the news they want, or to stay for a fun chat!” The current Theme Park Pulse will air in its current time spot, Monday, December 17, and on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24. Our new lineup debuts Tuesday, January 1st. Find Theme Park Pulse and Unpacked on all major platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Play, and at ThemeParkPulse.com. INQUIRIES: Kory (Exec. Producer) can be reached at kory@nomidnightpodcast.com Adam (Producer/Writer/Historian) can be reached at adam@nomidnightpodcast.com
