In the interrogation, the operative Khabarakh identified her as Lord Vader's heir. Leaning on his people's reverence for Vader, Leia offered Khabarakh his freedom in exchange for an embassy on his home planet.Leia, Chewbacca and C-3PO go to Endor in the Millenium Falcon. They transfer to Khabarakh's ship and he takes them to the devastated world of Honoghr. They try to avoid Imperial detection but Khabarakh's ship is confiscated. After analysis reveals Wookiee hair throughout the ship, Khabarakh is taken into Imperial custody for treason, then left in the capital of Nystao. The Imperial Grand Admiral mysteriously disappears, so Leia plans to break into Nystao and escape with Khabarakh.During her stay, the Khim'bar Maitrakh shares the history of the Noghri people and how they came to be in the service of the Empire after a calamitous space battle wreaks planet-wide ecological collapse. Chewbacca's estimations of the decontamination effort place the disaster at the height of the Galactic Civil War, and Leia feels guilt at the untold collateral damage caused by their struggle against the Empire.## Chapter 24 ##Leia is more-or-less prepared to steal Khabarakh out of Nystao. Leia is too busy to heed C-3PO's concerns over an unusually curious decon droid. The Maitrakh tells of when her fisrtsons were conscripted by the Empire, revealing that Khabarakh is not her third-born son, but her great-grandson; meaning the calamity happened during the Clone Wars almost half a century before! Indignant, Leia is determined to bring it directly before the Dynasts. She orders Chewbacca to test the khlom-grass. The Maitrakh leaves herself to send word ahead. They leave the village by speeder under the cover of night. A large congregation follws them from each village they pass. They are brought to the Grand Dukha. Dynast Vor'corkh is defiant to allow an alien interfering with their politics. Leia calls her lightsaber forth with the Force to demonstrate her authority as the mal'ary'ush. Dynast Ir'khaim and a supermajority of dissenters call to hear Leia's proclamations.Leia holds up the analysis of the supposed khlom-grass to show that they are genetic forgeries created by the Empire and that the decontamination effort a ruse.An overly-curious decon droid is skulking behind the Grand Dukha. Leia orders its capture in exchange for proof. The droid is no match for the Noghri hunters. She opens the droid to reveal an espionage droid and a tube of decon fluid. With one drop, the plant shrivels up, demonstrating the true function of the decon droids.Vindicated, the Dynasts agree to a cover story of Khabarakh's escape. Leia promises to return with more herbicide for the imitation khlom-grass. To save precious time season's end, Leia decides to return straight for Coruscant, intending to leave the Falcon in orbit around Endor. ## Join Us ##Discuss with us on Discord or YouTubeSupport us on PatreonOur WebsiteSupport the show

All links are available in this chapter's documentShare this link to find your preferred podcast player## The Story So Far ##As the war drags on, both the Empire and New Republic are in need of warships. Before the Clone Wars, a fleet of two-hundred ships known as the Katana Fleet went missing in interstellar space. Smuggler Talon Karrde knows where to find them. Han Solo and Lando Calrissian have met with the leader of a Corellians. Even without convincing the faction to join the New Republic, they are given a new lead on the warships. They are on their way to Pantolomin, tailed by ship thief Niles Ferrier.Grand Admiral Thrawn has little respect for ex-Imperial Mara Jade. He tricked her into leading his flagship Chimaera to capture Karrde for interrogation. After being dismissed, Mara is determined to liberate Karrde with the help of Luke Skywalker, leveraging her hard-coded Imperial backdoor to query Skywalker's location and the Chimaera's flight schedule for the next few days.On Jormark, Luke Skywalker has been training with an old Jedi Master, Joruus C'baoth. Unknown to Luke, C'baoth is actually a clone of the original Jedi Master. When Mara arrives to ask for Luke's help under the protection of an ysalamir, C'baoth's oppression through the Force is uncovered. After a brief struggle, C'baoth is neutralised and left in his castle. Luke sends R2-D2 to Coruscant, while Mara and Luke head to Wistril to intercept the Chimaera during a resupply.Disguised as a supply ship, Mara and Luke infiltrate through to the detention centre and liberate Karrde. A report of a crashed Skipray Blastboat with a dead ysalamir alerts Thrawn to the possibility that they have been boarded, and after discovering Karrde's escape, he orders the Chimera on high alert.## Chapter 23 ##The turbolift stops as the Chimera goes on alert for intruders. Mara disables the other Imperials in the car and Luke cuts them out into the turbolift shaft. With Karrde, they make their way to find Mara a terminal to hamper their would-be captors. In the maintenance room, they discover that the central computer has been shut down. They neutralise a reconnaissance team and head back into the shafts. Based on their location, Karrde suggests they make their escape through the less-obvious starship deep storage area. From damage reports via comm that clearly indicate the weapon profile of a lightsaber, Thrawn knows that Skywalker is working with Mara Jade. Thrawn predicts that with Karrde in charge of the escape, and orders a squad of stormtroopers be sent to guard the Millenium Falcon in deep storage.Luke runs upon the Falcon and orders Karrde to commandeer it while he gets Mara back aboard. In a flurry, they make their escape, safely making the jump to Coruscant. Pellaeon is irate, but between the data from Imperial Intelligence digging into Karrde's past and Ferrier's report pointing to the Pantolomin system, Thrawn is confident that Karrde will stall the Republic's arrival to the Katana Fleet long enough for them to get there first.## Join Us ##Discuss with us on Discord or YouTubeSupport us on PatreonOur WebsiteSupport the show

Chapter 22 of Star Wars: Dark Force Rising (1992) (EU: 9 ABY) by Timothy Zahn. All links are available in this chapter's documentShare this link to find your preferred podcast player## The Story So Far ##As Mara reclaimed one of Talon Karrde's impounded ships, she was captured by an Imperial Star Destroyer. Declaring herself to be the Emperor's Hand, she is taken to talk directly with Grand Admiral Thrawn. She offers a trade of Karrde's knowledge of a long-lost fleet of warships — the Katana Fleet — for organisation-wide immunity within Imperial space. Thrawn insincerely accepts the offer and sends Mara on her way with a tracker to locate Karrde and extract the information himself. He declared to Captain Pellaeon that Jade is a deserter, not worthy of the Empire. Talon Karrde was captured, awaiting torture for his information about the Katana Fleet. Deceived into being party to his capture, Mara Jade is loath to ask for the help of Luke Skywalker in freeing Karrde from Thrawn's flagship Chimaera. Her previous position as a direct agent of the Emperor still leaves her with permanent access into Imperial databases.## Chapter 22 ##Disguised as a cargo shuttle, Mara and Luke land aboard the Chimaera. After confirming they have a few hours before they will be released, Luke uses his lightsaber to cut through their own hull and the decking into the flight prep area.Luke steals three flight suits to blend in as they make their way to the detention area. While Mara leverages her backdoor access into the Star Destroyer's main computer, Luke makes his way through the garbage compactor to the detention level. Between the shift changes, Luke releases Karrde from his cell. Karrde is sleep-deprived but otherwise in fair condition to make the escape back through the garbage compactor. They meet back up with Mara and make it all the way to the elevator without being discovered. Mara suspects they have enough time to seal the hull of their stolen cargo shuttle before they get clearance to leave. On the bridge, Captain Pellaeon is overseeing the bridge deflector control overhaul as Thrawn walks in to hear a final report for the evening. A report from Endor prompts Thrawn to assign the appropriated Millenium Falcon to deep storage. Pellaeon shares another report from the surface where a dead ysalamir piques their interest. From the design of the ysalamir nutrient frame, Thrawn divines that they have been boarded. A call to the detention area confirms Karrde's escape and he orders a ship-wide lockdown — and suspecting that Mara possesses hardwired access codes, orders the shutdown of the Chimaera's main computer.## Join Us ##Discuss with us on Discord or YouTubeSupport us on PatreonOur WebsiteSupport the show
The idea of an Overton Window when the conditions around a political issue change that in turn changes the nature of what is politically possible, is a useful one in assessing businesses. Sometimes conditions change enough in a market or sector that there is suddenly a significant window of opportunity for a founder to run through. We think that is the case with Michael Rigney, CEO of Cala Systems. They're building a next generation heat pump water heater, and if they're right, they could save billions of gallons of water, reduce US national emissions by 3%, and save domestic energy consumers about $23 billion a year. We talk about the nature of the water heater market, competing against entrenched incumbents, and rebuilding a well known consumer product from the ground up. He has major game in this segment and Cala are in a fascinating position. Please enjoy my conversation with Michael Rigney. Alex tells us all about flying to Okinawa's Naha airport (via Tokyo), Hawaii (717s being flown like NYC cab drivers), the Philippines (that loop to Clarke airport), and more. We have one more Concorde to visit (next, a Millenium Falcon), we dream of Japanese airlines on-board experience (that "Italian" food, though?), we calculate the length of DXB concourses (it can be a long walk), we ponder the future of Manila airports (they'll end up with no less than THREE massive international airports), we wonder if selling guitars in an airport yields any results (Cebu has seen a lot of improvement though), we discuss legroom (bulkhead FTW), and admire Emirates' consistency (the new business class is the old business class?).Here's Ed Parsons photo store, check it out: https://store.edparsons.comMore travels to come, more episodes to come (if Paul makes it back), but we won't promise when (SORRY!)Happy travels!
Chapter 16 of Star Wars: Dark Force Rising (1992) (EU: 9 ABY) by Timothy Zahn. The Story So FarThe Empire and New Republic are scrambling for warships. After a messy skirmish over Sluiss Van, the New Republic's fleet has been decimated. With unexplained cash being deposited into Admiral Ackbar's account on the day of the Imperial attack, Ackbar is under arrest on suspicion of treason. While investigating the Churba Section, Han Solo discover a rogue militia and are taken to an undisclosed world. Led by Garm Bel Iblis, his militia may have a common enemy in the Empire but Bel Iblis doesn't trust the New Republic, specifically the de facto leader Mon Mothma. While in the private quarters assigned to them, Lando claims that the upholstery is distinctly from the lost Katana Fleet. Were it true and they were able to persuade Bel Iblis to join the New Republic, the Katana Fleet may make all the difference in the New Republic's logistical struggle with the Empire.Leia Organa Solo has travelled to Honoghr with Noghri Khabarakh. Grand Admiral Thrawn is simultaneously planetside. Khabarakh's return has raised suspicions on his clan and Thrawn has taken him into custody.Chapter 16Han and Lando go back to investigate the headquarter lounge for confirmation that the furnishings of the Perigrine's Nest are indeed from the Katana Fleet. Lando completes his inspection just as Irenez returns. She marches them out of the lounge and to Sena in a waiting speeder. A terse discussion of intentions devolves into a frank plea for Han to encourage the New Republic to extend an invitation to Bel Iblis to rejoin. In a forgotten corner of history, Bel Iblis was actually a founding member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic but was shouldered out by Mon Mothma's charisma after the death of Bail Organa at the destruction of Alderaan. Scorned, he has been fighting his own private war since then. Their own operations had ceased almost three years earlier in preparation should Mon Mothma's hold over the New Republic become autocratic; something Han knows is not going to happen.Han and Lando offer an ultimatum: they will talk to the New Republic Council if Sena gives up information on the Katana Fleet. She tells them the location of the contact from whom they acquired their six ships on and agrees to convey them offworld. They make to leave, but Bel Iblis is already waiting for them on the landing platform. With understanding, his facade crumbles, leaving a hollow man. Han gives one last attempt to convince the Commander of his value should he join the New Republic. En route back to New Cov, Han shares with Lando his worries about Leia's mission.Over Honoghr, Pellaeon presents Thrawn with intel of the Millenium Falcon having been found over Endor. Together, they suspect that after extracting information from a captured Khabarakh, the Rebellion is using his release as a diversion to uncover information about the location of Mount Tantiss. Thrawn decides to leave Khabarakh on Honoghr to acquiesce the Noghri Elders to their traditions.Links, Share, and SupportDocumentation for this chapterCross platform link for this chapterDiscuss this chapter on Discord, YouTube, or RedditSupport us on PatreonOur WebsiteSupport the show

Chapter 32 of Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (1991) (EU: 9 ABY) by Timothy Zahn. The Story So FarIt is the aftermath of the Galactic Civil War. The New Republic and Imperial Remnants struggle for stability. On Kashyyyk, Leia Organa Solo and Chewbacca uncover the identity of the aliens responsible for their many attempted abductions, and head back to Coruscant with a promise of parley over the Forest Moon of Endor.Grand Admiral Thrawn and Captain Pellaeon had prepared an assault on the Sluis Van Shipyards, presently a hive for repurposed warships that are filling the logistical demands of the burgeoning New Republic. Using prototype cloaking technology, a freighter positions itself among the skeleton-crewed warships to unload a swarm of mole miners and TIE fighters, intended to board and hijack them.Wedge Antilles is already running escort to one such freighter Larkhess, and engages the threat forthwith. The Millenium Falcon, having just arrived from Myrkr, also engages the swarm of TIE fighters. Han Solo and Luke Skywalker identify the mole miners as the ones stolen from Lando Calrissian's mining operation on Nkllon. Injured though he is, Lando uses his override codes to disable the hijacked warships, though in the process leaving them all but destroyed.Thrawn graciously admits defeat to Pellaeon, edifying him on the importance of keeping the long game in mind. Chapter 32Lando's override of the mole miners has brought a quick end to the assault. Chapter 31 of Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (1991) (EU: 9 ABY) by Timothy Zahn. The Story So FarLuke Skywalker and Leia Organa Solo have been on the run from a mysterious taskforce set on abducting them, directed from the shadows of Imperial Command by Grand Admiral Thrawn. On Kashyyyk, Leia uncovers the identity of the Noghri assailants from one they manage to pull into custody. On Myrkr, Luke crashes in the wilderness with Mara Jade, an ex-Imperial operative with a mortal rancour for him. Caught in the act of an incidental kidnapping, Talon Karrde feels morally obliged to break his long-fought independence to work with Han Solo and Lando Calrissian in extracting Luke and Mara from the wilderness.Hoping to delay retribution from Grand Admiral Thrawn for his concealed (albeit reluctant) partisanship, Karrde stages an ambush in which Lando stakes his life on Luke's Jedi intuition. The gamble costs him dearly, leaving him mortally wounded, but betting on Luke wins out even without use of the Force. After a few weeks unconscious and imprisoned, a short-lived escape attempt, and days trekking through the wilderness with an animus Jade, Luke leaves Myrkr a free man with Han Solo and injured Lando Calrissian. Bound for Sluis Van, they hope to get Lando much needed medical attention, as well as repairs to Luke's crippled X-Wing.However, at the edge of the Sluissi system, Grand Admiral Thrawn and Captain Pellaeon are prepared for their assault on the Shipyards.Chapter 31The Sluis Van Shipyards are mired with repurposed warships trying to make up for the logistical deficiencies of the New Republic. While awaiting the processing of his charge, Wedge Antilles's instincts tell him to investigate an approaching freighter. Just before Rogue Squadron's approach, it literally explodes with activity, releasing TIE fighters and unidentified snub crafts. Having presently arrived, the Millenium Falcon jumps the docking regulations to enter the fray; Han and Luke both identify the snubs as Lando's stolen mole miners. At the edge of the Sluissi system, Thrawn and Pellaeon direct the Imperial assault. Upon seeing the Falcon, Thrawn is now certain of Karrde's earlier deception, but tucks that away for a later time. As the battle continues, Wedge, Han, and Luke discover the mole miners are being used to hijack the repurposed warships running materiel through the shipyard. Injured though he is, Lando activates his override codes for the mole miners, boring through the bridge of every escaping warship. This episode contains: We're your dads this week. Turns out Steven knows how to introduce a damn podcast. We argue how many weeks it's been since Devon's been on the podcast. Oh no, we started singing Barenaked Ladies this episode. Does anybody think our podcast is better when Steven is choking on cat hair? Steven's the Houdini of the podcast. Death-defying at every turn. Devon and his kids were putting together Lego on Father's Day. There's a new franchised Lego store around Devon: Bricks and Minifigs. Devon got the new Treehouse Lego set, and Steven is totes jelly. Steven got the Lego house from Up... and shoes. Happy Father's Day. Ben got a toolbox shaped like Mjonir and a card that says "Happy Person Father Day." Is Benergy hereditary? Or is it contracted? Looks like Ben's gonna put up drywall, and knows nothing about it. The drywall guy. Steven and Ben checked out our local watering hole, the Raconteur Room. Super chill. Steven found some people who also get migraines from hops. Instead of recording this podcast we could have went to a metal show at Dark Nectar. Ben will totally go to shows with Steven. Honey, where are my pants? Scientists conduct first test of a wireless cosmic ray navigation system. Ben has a joke just for the Lego Movie fans. What's better than GPS (in certain situations)? muPS! GPS sucks when it encounters ground and water. muPS doesn't have this problem. Ever wondered all the things that muons have been used for? There's so many things! What's your deal, muons? Well, they decay. Check out the episode of Miikshi about Cosmic Rays, which covers the same research. Justin T. Lee not only made Miikshi, he also made ST:TNG Animated and Voyager Animated. https://news.muographix.u-tokyo.ac.jp/2023/05/15/filmmakers-interview-justin-t-lee-and-lindsay-lee/news-local/ https://arstechnica.com/science/2023/06/scientists-conduct-first-test-of-a-wireless-cosmic-ray-navigation-system/ AaaH!CHOOO! Better understanding of how genes make us prone to allergies. This year has been way worse for Steven's allergies. He's trying a new med. Allergies rank as the 6th most prevalent cause of chronic illness in the U.S. Learning more about how allergies work can help uncover possible remedies for them. Looking to control allergies? Let's start looking at the ETS1 protein. The Golden book The Shy Little Kitten is really messing Steven up. What would an Avengers team from Golden Books look like? Steven keeps prompting songs from the other hosts on this podcast. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2023/06/230615105331.htm Patreon only Mid-pod: Steven re-reviews Star Wars: Rogue One. Devon feels that's the only good Disney SW film. Ben doesn't know how to spell the Star Wars planet Jedha. He thinks it's Jetta. Poor Ben. Devon talks about how good the first episode of the most recent season of Black Mirror is. Our Patreons get a new playlist as a gift from ya boi Devon C! Steven does not remember The Dear Hunter, despite Devon's knowledge dump several times. Big Question: Is this the discount episode? 3 big questions for the price of 1! Would you rather have proof of intelligent alien life or true general AI? We discuss. Would true general A.I. be cool with us as planetmates? How about aliens as neighbors? What if knowing about intelligent aliens actually united humanity? Probably wouldn't though. We had the opportunity to unite and kill something evil on our planet for 3 years. No way. Ben makes another Star Trek V reference. Devon leaves him hanging. Is our hope for AI only to subjugate and enslave another life form? How amazing will it be when AI can build personalized curriculums for students? Would you rather self-driving cars everywhere or affordable low-orbit space tourism? What if low-orbit space tourism was as affordable as a cruise? If cars weren't important anymore, urban design would be completely revolutionized. People should get licenses to share a road with self-driving cars. Would you rather have faster than light space travel or mind uploads to computers? Ben wants the singularity. Functional immortality. Devon wants to be Mayor of the Matrix. Would FTL travel be worth it if you can't make your ship look like the Millenium Falcon? We haven't had a clip show in a while. Probably not for a while longer.
Ed and Producer Bill get into a star spanning, turbo charged conversation about “The Greatest Vehicles” in pop culture. May the Fourth to you, Void! And also with you! We are back this week with Matt, of course, to break down our thoughts on the 2015 Star Wars revamp: The Force Awakens. It turns out there is little that all three hosts can agree on, except for Linkin Park is the soundtrack for Kylo Ren (queue Numb). With fun new characters comes new themes like "boys in space" energy, "stop holding my hand" energy, and "CRAWLING IN MY SKIIIIIIN!!! THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEALLLL!!!!" energy. Jeez, he's such a wimp. Matt christens the Millenium Falcon as the Aluminum Peregrine, Erin gets excited for the return of PowerPoint screen wipes, and Brennan chuckles for a trash compactor. Erin review: Great.Matt review: Best of the new ones.Brennan review: hate. Almost as much as Anakin hates sand.
The Wookiee's are a proud and loyal species in the galaxy. Most know of the infamous Chewbacca, co-pilot of the Millenium Falcon. The species are habitants of the planet of Kashyyyk and are close to nature. They are strong and easily rip a person's arm off if necessary, so don't make a wookiee mad. Chapter 13 of Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (1991) (EU: 9 ABY) by Timothy Zahn. The Story So FarWhile looking for hints on Dagobah on how best to train the next generation of Jedi, Luke Skywalker finds a strange device in the Dark Side Cave outside Yoda's hut. This hint points him to Lando Calrissian and his path converges with Leia Organa-Solo and Han Solo as they head to the Athega system. After two foiled kidnappings on separate diplomatic missions, the couple are looking to get help outside New Republic jurisdiction. Meanwhile, Grand Admiral Thrawn's schemes are coming to a head as he has allied himself with Master Joruus C'baoth, clone and Dark Jedi. Captain Pelleaon devises a plan to disseminate information that might lure Luke to C'baoth instead of sending more noghri to capture him. All paths converge over Nkllon just as Luke and the Millenium Falcon arrive. Leaving us in the suspense as the space battle commences.Chapter 13Luke and the Falcon engage in a dogfight over Nkllon, during which Luke's mind is touched by another Jedi, commanding Luke to seek him out. Despite losing time during the contact, Luke and the Falcon chase off the Imperial raid. Our point of view then switches to Thrawn and Pellaeon reflecting on the aftermath. Thrawn's satisfaction at the successful acquisition of 51 mole miners is overshadowed by C'baoth's declaration of making contact with Luke. The Jedi Master insists that it is time for his own trap to be laid, leaving Pellaeon and Thrawn to scheme on the disillusionment of C'baoth's self-importance. Everything you've heard about Film School Professionals is true. Clover is actually the voice of the Millenium Falcon. Professors Malu and Katie welcome an exceptionally boring and very obnoxious guest who won't stop farting: their producer Gabe Mara of the Slow Readers podcast! Gabe swags in like he owns the place, demanding your two intrepid instructors break down two film about con artists, fast talkers, ill-gained dollars, and the family we choose versus the family we have. That's right, Katie and Malu discuss the most obvious double feature in history: Peter Bogdanovich's Paper Moon (1973) [but we really know it's Polly Platt's film] and Ron Howard's Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) [though it was also sort of Lord and Miller's]. Katie shatters the ice with some heavy heavy Emilia Clarke talk and Gabe brings the heat with some Gatekeeper action. Please rate, review, and subscribe on your podcatcher of choice, nerfherders! Our childhood memories are filled with images of all the toys we loved. From the glorious transforming of Optimus Prime to that first borderline-orgasmic sensation of getting our grubby little sausage fingers on the Millenium Falcon, nothing fills our minds with more joy than those plastic figures and vehicles. Masters of the Universe figures found their way into many a toy chest, ours being no exception. And between the cool and innovative characters and the psychedelic cartoon, we can honestly say that we went into this movie with hearts open and minds ready. If you loved the toys and cartoon like we did, and are thinking to yourself “I vaguely remember the live action movie, maybe I should watch it”...don't. Much like Benny's love for his children, Masters of the Universe tries its best to be coherent and genuine, but ends up a fragmented and confusing dumpster fire. Is it a story about He-Man defeating Skeletor and saving Eternia, or is it a love story between a boy, a 50-year-old-looking Courtney Cox and a musical key? Are He-Man and Skeletor mortal enemies hell bent on mutual destruction, or does the evil bone wizard just want to chill for a while and watch a near-naked Russian man get whipped? Why is the main evil henchman, Karg, modelled after a preserved testicle? And why the hell is a cow hanging out in the middle of a forest? Who cares at this point. We need a drink. Masters of the Universe is a prime example of nostalgia gone bad; it's best left floating in the ether of our memories. It doesn't get a medal - it face-planted on its way to barely receiving a participation ribbon. Let's just bite down on the stick of shame and slog through this fever dream of crap together. Some especially painful things we force ourselves to cover include: For a movie entirely about He-Man, this movie has very little to do with He-Man We understand creative license and blazing your own path, but did anyone involved in this movie actually...you know...watch the He-Man cartoon? For such a little person, Billy Barty must have powerful shoulders because he is absolutely carrying this gong show - kicking and screaming - towards tolerability Dolf Lungren; all of the sexy barbarian looks, none of the sexy barbarian machismo. He looks the part, but he can't charisma his way out of a wet paper bag For a movie that is supposed to be about a giant nearly-naked sword-wielding barbarian versus a creepy skeleton-wizard thing, they sure do love to focus the ENTIRE MOVIE on an 80's stylized dimensional key that doubles as a Casio Green screens are kind of expected for movies of the 80's and 90's, but Masters of the Universe revolutionized the art of having actors stay perfectly still in front of them, leading to some of the most ridiculously hilarious effects ever seen on film Pro tip: If you're a gym teacher, and you run into a small group of Eternia mercenaries, you are going to get your crap unnecessarily ruined Ah, the 80's...when a police officer - without a warrant - can just force their way into your home, listen to your private phone conversations, and take your property while ashing a dirty dart all over your carpet
