Emails, tarjetas de crédito, textos… Cualquier cosa que queda registrada, habla directamente al futuro. Con la escritura existimos en el tiempo, porque al leer hablamos con el pasado y al escribir hablamos hacia el futuro. En los cinco mil quinientos años que van de Mesopotamia a Silicon Valley no hemos conseguido mejorar la escritura, sólo acelerar la forma en que se crea y se comparte.

Via Arjan van Dijk werd ik getipt om eens langs te gaan bij Rogier Gielen. Hij heeft een therapievorm ontwikkeld ontdekt á la EFT en EMDR, Silenthands genaamd. Wie is Rogier? Rogier Gielen (Amsterdam, 1967) studeerde bedrijfseconomie aan de UVA en deed een Internationale MBA opleiding aan de Rotterdam School of Management. Hij werkte bij verschillende bedrijven in de software-industrie als internationaal accountmanager, product marketingmanager en directeur. In 1999 gooide hij het over een hele andere boeg. Als coach/therapeut begeleidt hij ondernemers, professionals, podiumartiesten, sporters en ook studenten, voetbalmoeders en vele anderen. Hij schreef het boek Moeiteloos Leren Leven dat in 2009 werd uitgegeven door Scriptum. Rogier deed meerdere cursussen en opleidingen, waaronder Oplossingsgerichte Coaching, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), NLP (Neurolinguistisch programmeren) en Hypnotherapie. Sinds 2010 is Rogier student van Zijne Eminentie de 7e Dzogchen Rinpoche, een vooraanstaand Tibetaans Boeddhistische meester. The Unity of the PropersMasses sometimes are called by the first word of the introit. So, for instance, the third Sunday of Advent is called Gaudete and the fourth of Lent Laetare, and the Sunday after Easter is often called Quasimodo Sunday. Each one of these are named after the first words of their introit.Usually a proper Mass has its own Introit, Epistle, Gradual, Alleluia (or Tract), Gospel, Offertory, and Communion. Oftentimes there is a theme that runs through and connects all of these together. In some seasons, such as Advent, the theme can be very strong and obvious. At other times, it can require some reflection to discover.In this podcast, we examine two examples of Masses, the Mass for the Second Sunday of Advent, with it's clear theme of Christ, the savior of the Gentiles, coming as the anointed of the Lord to bring peace; and the Mass for the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost, which, at first glance, doesn't seem to have much binding the Mass texts together. ANA MARTINS MARQUES Ana Martins Marques has published two books of poetry: A vida submarina (Scriptum, 2009) and Da arte das armadilhas (Companhia das Letras, 2011), which won the Brazilian Prêmio Biblioteca Nacional and the Prêmio Alphonsus Guimaraens. JULIA SANCHES Julia is Brazilian by birth but has lived in New York, Mexico City, Lausanne, Edinburgh and Barcelona. She is currently studying Comparative Literature and Literary Translation at UPF in Barcelona. She completed her M.A. in Philosophy and English Literature at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland in 2010. She has been nominated for the Guardian and the Herald Student Media Awards in the category of Best Photographer. While doing her masters, she also works as a freelance translator, private teacher of English and Portuguese, and as a reader for Random House Mondadori. She is currently learning her sixth language and living in her sixth country.
