There's a critical reason you're unaware of why the House Select Committee wants not only the transcript but also the video tape of Special Counsel Hur's interview of President Biden...and that reason is precisely why the Administration doesn't want you to see it. Also, how the nation is hurtling towards self-destruction, and how to put on the brakes, all in this episode.
Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Jason Smith of Missouri, joins to talk about today's committee vote to hold AG Garland in contempt of Congress for failing to provide the audio tapes of Special Counsel Hur's interview with POTUS that Chairman Smith, Comer, and Jordan demanded DOJ turn over a few months back. If this passes the House floor, it will only be the fourth time in American history a cabinet official has been held in contempt of Congress.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What You Need to Know is the Deep State is real and we have the evidence! Don't let the left back us into a corner when great folks like Scott Walter are hot on the trail of their evidence. If you know people who just haven't quite made that leap from their initial conservative leanings, it's time to get them plugged into stories like Arabella Advisors and the work Scott Walter and Capital Research Center are doing. Scott Walter, President at the Capital Research Center and author of ARABELLA: The Dark Money Network of Leftist Billionaires Secretly Transforming America, joins Ed to discuss his new book. Scott tells all about Arabella Advisors and how they funnel billions of dollars into our elections. They discuss how Scott discovered Arabella and realized the true extent of the influence by this beltway bandit. John Zadrozny, Chief Investigator at America First Legal, joins Ed to talk about the anniversary of America First Legal and the growth they have experienced. Zadrozny and Ed talk about the chronic legal inaction in the conservative movement, and how his organization seeks to fight the fights that must be fought. Zadrozny details the importance of the electoral college and its proper function in our American system. Wrap Up: Hypocrisy at the highest level! The DOJ is risking contempt of Congress to shield Joe Biden's audio recorded interviews with Special Counsel Hur from being given to the public. Talk about a double standard.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Did today's congressional testimony of former Special Counsel Hur affect how you think about the classified documents case involving President Biden? Or was your mind already made up? Jason talks with listeners
Democrats dragged Robert Hur for "pejorative" language in report, Republicans dragged Robert Hur for not bringing criminal charges. Ah, well
Special counsel Robert Hur is testifying today before a Republican-led House panel. He was tasked with investigating President Joe Biden's handling of classified documents, but ultimately declined to bring criminal charges. Hur has said the facts stopped short of finding Biden willfully retained classified material. Hur did note in his previous report, which he is expected to underscore, that there are serious material differences between the Biden case and the Trump case involving classified documents. His public testimony will be held before the House Judiciary Committee, led by Republican Jim Jordan of Ohio. According to NBC News, Biden spoke with Robert Hur for over three hours on October 8 and again for over an hour the next day when he faced a number of questions about documents he saw as vice president and how he stored them. The report concludes with Hur saying Biden is an elderly man with a poor memory and was unable to remember key dates. His assessment of the president's mental fitness will likely be the focus of Hur's testimony. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Former Senior White House Advisor Peter Navarro says President Trump's 2 hour speech at CPAC demonstrated his mental acuity in contrast with the guy sitting in the White House and says it's a national shame. Navarro says he could be going to prison in the next few weeks simply for doing his duty to the Constitution, for a crime that was never a crime. He is be the first Senior White House Advisor ever charged. Similar to what they're doing to President Trump—using a tortured, twisted application of inapplicable laws to try to deny Americans the opportunity to choose their next President. Navarro says he never thought we would get to this point but here we are and we have to acknowledge it. As Navarro appeals, he says his case will be a landmark case over the separation of powers going back to George Washington. Navarro says his case is about how a Democrat controlled Congress assaulted Executive Privilege and abused their subpoena power. Navarro faces four months in prison but takes strength in President Trump and all he's facing, four indictments, 700 years in prison and the theft of his property in New York. More revelations about the five-hour conversation between Special Counsel Hur and Joe Biden show that Hur NEVER mentioned Joe's dead son, Beau. Remember: Joe, in his speech after Hur's report was released, blasted Hur for even talking about Beau: Hur didn't! Joe brought it up himself. But he has no cognitive challenges, right? Today, we analyze other very timely topics that include the mysterious "national security" happening that we were warned by Congress will "impact not just the U.S., but every country on Earth!" And we still have NO details given to us. The left is exhausting every resource they have in efforts to force the House to pass their latest "border security" bill that is nothing more than continuing Biden and Mayorkas' "open border policies." Speaker Johnson continues to respond to questions that House Republicans passed a comprehensive border plan early last year that the Senate has refused to take up and even consider. (Why is it OK for Democrats to NOT consider a bill, but Republicans MUST do so?)
Getting into their campaign mode three-point stance, Senator Claire McCaskill and White House Comms Director Jen Palmieri shift gears to look at the biggest news of the week from their unique comms and strategy lens. And after last week's report from Special Counsel Hur that's put a spotlight on Biden, veteran prosecutor Andrew Weissmann talks about the politics of what should not have been a political report. Then, Claire and Jen rip off the band aid to speak directly about Biden's age and candidacy, and what to say when people ask if Dems should be looking to another candidate for President.Subscribe to the How to Win newsletter! Special Counsel Hur's use of a memory test to put President Biden on the spot regarding events about individual documents that he handled 10-15 years ago is a grossly unfair interview technique and should not have been included in his final report.
