[EP 25-091] I will say this, President Trump brought a Glock 40 auto to a stick fight. The man had so much ammunition against the Left. And what I love most about Trump is he just doesn't give a crap about what people think about him.I'm getting busy, and playing catchup from my visit to Tampa, FL last week. Still there is plenty of news happening, though the revelations by President Trump were enlightening to say the least. Any report of President Trump's approval rating that is under 55% is a lie. It's closer to 90% if you dismiss the 30% who vote against anything sane. It comes amid news that a longtime anchor at Fox News, Neil Cavuto, is out — and his new replacement has just been named. Fox is anxious to recoup ratings in its 4pm hour, most especially with media critics and investors suggesting another massive financial blow heading its way vis a vis the Smartmatic case against the company. A new decision from the judge means the case WILL move forward. Trump’s pick for the FBI, Kash Patel, is promising new trouble for Leticia James, Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, Judge Merchan, Erdogan, and Fani Willis. Trish Regan has the details. And, with California increasingly facing a bigger disaster, fresh calls for Gavin Newsom to resign. Could Meghan Markle take his place? Trolls love drones, Luigi Mangione fans at court, Wisconsin school shooter's accomplice, Hawk Tuah's company sued, Prince Andrew's new scandal, J-Lo's failures, Jim Picks: Christmas Songs, and a dive into Rated Xmas. Luigi Mangione is on the move. And now we have to hear his "writings." He's got fans following him around and waiting outside the court. Where do they get the time to make these signs? The 15-year-old Madison, Wisconsin school shooter was in contact with a 20-year-old loser in California that wanted to shoot up a federal building. The shooter also loved death websites. Drones are done in New Jersey per the FAA. We'll see. There's so many "theories" out there, but one thing is for certain- it's people trolling. Tony Buzbee is now being accused of giving a chick a STD. Some people are saying Jay Z or Diddy dug this chick up. Grab your popcorn... Luke Nowacki brings you a new boner…line. Haliey Welch is getting in more trouble. The crypto project is being sued. The end of Hawk Tuah girl is near. Megan Thee Stallion requested a restraining order against Tory Lanez because he's trolling her from prison with help from his dad. Trolls rule the world nowadays. Prince Andrew is uninvited to the Royal Family Christmas bashes. He's been linked to a Chinese spy. He's really sweating his past decisions this holiday season. Fox News' Neil Cavuto retired. George Stephanopoulos is mad that Donald Trump won and is in denial that Trump didn't rape anyone.  Julian Lennon had a cancerous mole removed. Gross. Republican Senator Slammed By Fox Host For Calling Kamala Harris A ‘Ding Dong'

Farron Balanced Daily

Play Episode Listen Later Jul 31, 2024 19:04

Republican Senator John Kennedy had a rough time on Fox News this week after he claimed that Kamala Harris is a "Ding Dong" and continuously implied that she was somehow crazy during an interview with host Neil Cavuto. Cavuto wasn't having it, and at one point he told Kennedy that it was "pretty dumb" to go down that road with these attacks, but Kennedy didn't seem to care and kept doubling down. Also, during an interview with Sean Hannity on Monday, RNC chair and nepo baby by marriage Lara Trump compared Vice President Kamala Harris to a "designer trash bag." The Republican Party is desperate to find any line of attack against Harris that will stick, and they are getting increasingly unhinged in their search for that talking point. But comments like these are only going to turn more voters off, as they are steeped in racism. And Donald Trump and his surrogates - including his sons - have bragged all year about how great he is doing with black voters. But a new poll this week shows that black voters are actually pulling away from Trump in droves and migrating over to Kamala Harris. The same is true of Hispanic voters, leaving Trump winning with only one demographic at the moment - white men. He can't win an election with only one group of voters. Finally, Donald Trump has been having meltdown after meltdown since Kamala Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee, and his surrogates have gone even crazier. And what's driving them all crazy right now is that Harris' campaign is beating them at their own game. Trump has made a political career for himself by simply mocking all of his opponents and never really talking policy, and now he and his allies are getting relentlessly mocked by the Harris camp in a way that is clearly getting under their skin.Subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date on all of Farron's content: https://www.youtube.com/FarronBalancedFollow Farron on social media!Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FarronBalanced/Twitter: https://twitter.com/farronbalancedInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/farronbalancedTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@farronbalanced?lang=enSend us a Text Message.

And of course they would say, "yeah, yeah, yeah, I would totally do it." And he said, "Great, I've caught you in my trap." And the trap is obviously prioritization. We don't prioritize reading, so we don't read, right?Lesley Logan 0:24  Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started.  Lesley Logan 1:06  Welcome back to the Be It Till You See It interview recap where my co-host in life Brad and I are going to dig in to the pragmatic convo I had with Nick Hutchison in our last episode. If you haven't yet listened to this episode, you should. You should just listen to it. So listen in any order you want. Doesn't really matter to us. But go listen to Nick. He is incredible. He's amazing. He's also just like, really like, sweet, nice dude. And he, it's announced we can say, he is expecting his first kid.Brad Crowell 1:32  I didn't know that. That's exciting. Congratulations, Nick.Lesley Logan 1:35  Oh. Get on social. I know. Brad Crowell 1:37  Yeah, I'm all over that. (Inaudible)Lesley Logan 1:39  Well, he can do Dad's Club. He could do Vincent's Dad's Club. Yeah. Brad Crowell 1:39  Yeah. I'll connect the dots there, Nick. That's exciting. Lesley Logan 1:46  I love it. He didn't even ask for dad advice and I'm like you should do this thingBrad Crowell 1:50  Congratulations. You're going to get it. Lesley Logan 1:50  So today is May 30th. It is World MS Day. About this day, World Multiple Sclerosis Day, falling on May 30th, invites dialogue on the disease. Multiple sclerosis, MS, is a relapse-remitting disease with a very slow progression. MS is also known as encephalomyelitis disseminata and its symptoms include muscle weakness, double vision and mental physical problems due to lack of research studies on the disease. The exact causes behind it are generally unknown. Many scientists believe that there might be connected to the onset of the disease and genes or nerve-cell dysfunction. Furthermore, there's no permanent cure yet. The symptoms can be relieved using the right set of treatments and medication. I just want to like shout out because there's actually been a lot of talk about this. Selma Blair, I believe, did a docu-series or documentary about this. She's been very vocal about it. Christina Applegate is now in a cane. And she, I believe, has to stop acting because of it and like she had a really amazing show, even up until very recently.Brad Crowell 3:00  We just met someone in Phoenix PLT who has MS.Lesley Logan 3:05  Yeah. Jack Osbourne has it. Montel Williams and Jamie-Lynn Sigler. There's actually more. There's, I'm gonna see if there's anyone you might know. But there's Tamia Hill, David lLnder, Walter Williams, Jonathan Katz, Janice Dean, Richard Pryor, Neil Cavuto, Trevor Bayne. So there's a ton more. I'm sure there's more. The only reason I brought these people up is like, you might have like, loved them for a long time and wonder what they're doing. And the truth is, is that this is a really hard and really sad thing that we have no information on, there's not a lot of treatments or studies being done on it, and it's a real shame. So anyways, but shout out to Selma Blair for the work that she's been doing to draw attention to it. So what do we got coming up? Okay. OPC Summer Camp is like this weekend. It is this weekend, not like, it is this weekend. Brad Crowell 3:56  It is May 30th. That means we're looking at two days from now is June 1st.Lesley Logan 4:03  Yes. So Brad and I will have our blue blockers along (inaudible). We are going to have to go to bed early tomorrow night, Brad, because you have to get up super early on Saturday. We are it's all hands on deck because it is just like Zoom. Like it's seven Zooms a day, seven different links, seven different teachers each day. Different groups of people, some people have day pass, some people have bought ala carte, so we have to be on top of everything. As a camp directors that we are, and we have 13 other camp counselors and just an incredible lineup of events for you. This is the biggest thing we've ever done online and we really hope you join us because it's, it's really it's all about the Pilates practitioner. You do not have to be a teacher to join these. And if you can't join us live you get to have the replays. So buy them anyways.Brad Crowell 4:48  That's right. I think that's the key. If you can't join us live, you get to keep the replays. Lesley Logan 4:53  Yeah, so opc.me/events is how you get your tickets before we go live. Okay, after that we're actually going to head out on tour. OPC Summer Tour. We're headed to the Midwest, y'all. We're hitting cities. We just pretty much skip over all the time. And so, Chicago. I'm looking at Yale. Brad Crowell 5:13  Milwaukee. One of the Twin Cities.Lesley Logan 5:14  Milwaukee. Yes. One of the Twin Cities. Brad Crowell 5:15  We're actually looking atLesley Logan 5:18  Indy.Brad Crowell 5:19  Yeah, sure.Lesley Logan 5:19  We have something in Denver. I mean, we go to Denver all the time, but we're going to, we're going to Denver. Colorado Springs. We are looking at Indy. I think we talked to someone. Brad Crowell 5:31  We're potentially gonna be in Cincinnati. We're looking at that. Lesley Logan 5:34  Yeah. So at any rate, lots of places. I think there's like 12 cities over the two weeks.Brad Crowell 5:40  We're gonna kick it off in Vegas. So we just added a 13th. Lesley Logan 5:42  Oh, hello, Vegas. Hi, for the love, thanks for being our kickoff location and sending us off on the way. So anyways, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Our headlining sponsor is Balanced Body, that means goodies, and you know, you're gonna get certificate towards buying that piece of equipment you've always wanted. And if you use my link, you get the discount. So boom, extra credit. Okay, then another thing that's happening as we speak now, but in June, hopefully open up the doors to eLevate for 2025. And I know that sounds a little early, but the reality is, is that the mentorship is a nine-month program. There's five weekends, I like to give people plenty of time to get their schedule ready, get ready for it, plan for it, and also be able to pay for it. So it is an investment and I don't take that lightly. So if you are wanting to learn more about eLevate if you want to, if you already know you want to do it, we only take 12 people in a round, you want to go to lesleylogan.co/ew. And by the way, my name is spelled L-E-S-L-E-Y L-O-G-A-N (lesleylogan.co/ew) That means eLevate waitlist.Brad Crowell 6:45  If you missed all that and we still have spots left, just reach out to us. If you want to join us.Lesley Logan 6:51  We don't know if we have spots left because we're recording in theBrad Crowell 6:51  We're recording ahead of time.Lesley Logan 6:55  Ahead of time. Brad Crowell 6:57  But yes, let's shift over to the audience question. So this is from schonliving on Instagram, I'm building my hours towards my Pilates mat certification and I find teaching group classes is much harder than one-on-one. Any tips to overcoming the fear, insecurity, anxiety and the form of impostor syndrome that I'm experiencing from being in front of a group class?Lesley Logan 7:24  Yeah, so schonliving, let me, okay, I love this question. First of all, a lot of people even say that they prefer a class to a private and that's because in the class they like it's kind of chaotic, and they, they don't have, there's a lot going on. So no one will notice that they might be nervous and on a one-on-one people can sense it. So I love that you are so confident on your one-on-ones it's actually quite hard to do. So I would say you're winning. The second thing I would just say is if you find you have imposter syndrome and you're new at anything, so this is for anyone, if you're new at something, you should feel like an imposter. You are new at it. If you didn't feel nervous. You are an egomaniac, narcissistic person who should probably go get like, like checked out. So anyway, here's what I will say is if you haven't listened to last week's episode goes into my my answer on cueing, you are new, you are not going to have it all figured out. You are going to have been a little nervous. What I would say first of all, the thing that I always do when I step into something that makes me nervous, I could just go, it's showtime and I be it till I see it. How would you act if you already were feeling confident teaching group classes? How would you act? How would you hold yourself? Like how would you welcome people into your class? How would you? How would you greet the class? How would you start the class? What is your speech for the class? How would you end the class, right? Don't worry about Brad Crowell 7:24  Yeah, you just be it till you see it.Lesley Logan 8:43  Yeah, don't worry about what you're gonna say in the middle of class. What are the in cast that you can control that you want to say to invite people into a space that you're in control of? Okay, so that's first and foremost. Second, my teacher Jay Grimes would say bad Pilates, get used to it. Dangerous Pilates, never. I always translate that to ugly Pilates, get used to it. Dangerous Pilates, never. When you're teaching a bunch of people who have different learning styles and different abilities of paying attention, it's gonna be a hot mess. So you need to look at a class and like be able to spot danger and correct that. Anything in between danger and perfect, just let it be. Okay? It will, they need to come back and they will get better. So that'd be my other thing. And the next thing is, is that people become teachers and in weekends now, like literally in a weekend or months, maybe showing that you, you've been doing this for a year, I don't know. But something tells me probably not. My teacher would say you're not really a teacher till I've been teaching for five years. And so just teach as many people as you can.Brad Crowell 9:54  Not in a judgment way. But the reality is there's so much to process and dots to connect and you know, just understanding plus you have to, you should be feeling it in your own body, too. You know, so it just takes time, y'all. It takes time.Lesley Logan 10:09  A lot of questions and worries and concerns you have they kind of answer themselves, the more you teach. So what I would say is get some friends together that love you. And to say I need to practice teaching a class and just teach them and they in return should give you testimonials. That's what they should do. That is, but that's going to help you but your goal, of course you're gonna feel nervous. You obviously care about doing well. So that says to me, nervous energy, and impostor syndrome just shows that you care and that you're brand new at something. You would never let a client go, oh, I can't do the 100 on day one. Because (inaudible).Brad Crowell 10:14  You would laugh at them and say, of course you can't. Lesley Logan 10:49  You're new. Brad Crowell 10:50  You just started.Lesley Logan 10:51  So my dear, of course you are nervous. You're new. And so for anyone who does teach Pilates, all this stuff applies to everything you want. You got to be it till you see it. How would you act if you already knew how to do the thing? And second of all, if you're beginner, kindness and graciousness and patience with yourself.Brad Crowell 11:09  Yeah, to yourself with yourself. Exactly. Yeah, great question. Okay. Now let's talk about Nick Hutchison. Nick Hutchison is the founder of BookThinkers, a company dedicated to helping authors promote and market their books. Initially indifferent to reading, Nick's outlook transformed in his early 20s after discovering the transformative power of personal development books. Today, as he's a lifelong learner, he has penned Rise of the Reader and podcast host of BookThinkers, Life Changing Books, his work across various platforms provides valuable strategies for implementing the lessons learned from books into everyday life.Lesley Logan 11:51  Yeah, he's cool. I really, I really enjoy him. I was on his podcast, BookThinkers, by the way. Brad Crowell 11:59  He's the nicest dude. Lesley Logan 11:59  Just really nice, very thoughtful. He's very perceptive. He listens. And he integrates it, he analyzes it, and he puts it out. It's just really wonderful. Get his book, you guys, if you are reading books, so that we're talking about on the podcast, and like, I'm not retaining enough, get his book. It's so, so, so good. It's been so helpful. Based off of his book, he taught a little mini version of it to us at the BBG event we went to, and I found that I took less tasks home, because I was like, the only thing I have to do is this thing, I'm only here for this thing, this is my intention for the next few days. And I really listened to a lot of things I was like, That's a great idea, not mine, that's a great idea, not mine, I left going, I just have these three things I'm going to do when I leave, and it's only been three, it's like two. And I'm really, really happy about it, because it's just great. So go get his book. Brad Crowell 12:47  Love that. Lesley Logan 12:48  One of the things I love he said that don't assume what your audience wants. And we mentioned the four agreements. And so the four Agreements, in case you've not read the book is don't take anything personally, don't make assumptions. The other two are be honorable with your word. If you say you're gonna do it, do it. And then there's a fourth one, always do your best. He said, don't assume what they want, ask them what they want. And then they should be brought along with you. Too often, a lot of people who are in this, maybe you're not wanting to write a book, but maybe you want to create a product or on-demand course or have an event. Most people protect it, hold it preciously to themselves. And then they're like, I get it. Here it is, here's the thing I made for you. But you didn't get any feedback along the way. So they weren't part of building it with you, which means they're not invested in the thing that you're excited about. And you didn't get the feedback along the way to know that they would want blue over green. Brad Crowell 13:35  Well, you guys both used personal experiences to relay, relay this obviously, the the first launch of Agency. You know, there was a lot of emotions tied up in that flop and also a shit ton of hours to spending time to like make this thing actually come together. And then Nick laughed and said, oh, I did that. He built an entire app. And he spent hundreds of hours and tens of thousands of dollars to build this app and nobody used it. And that's because we were making assumptions prior to rolling the thing out and then what you talked about with the flashcards was when you were rolling out the second reformer deck, you share the process along the way. And it got people that much more excited that much more excited. And it was it was considerably more of a powerful experience and launch for people than the first deck. Lesley Logan 14:31  Well, we were just at Pilates on tour in Phoenix. And this one girl is like, oh, I'm on the waitlist for the barrels and I'm like, oh, thank you so much. And I went to update her she's like, oh, I got the email. You're in the editing process right now. And she was so excited. So like take them on the journey because they actually get excited with you. They want to know what's going on. Like it was really cool and we hopefully by the time this comes out, it's on presale, because were obviously recording earlier, but it is part of it. And I can't recall if we've ever talked about this on here, but I'm just gonna bring it up in case you missed the episode. You know, we were at the Soho House couple days where we saw Nick in person last month. And this guy was just like how do you get people to wait for things. And it's really not about waiting for things. It's also about buying things. He was bringing up waiting, but to me how I think about how purchasing power you all listening have the purchasing power, every single one of you. You determine if something is successful or not. So you need to know that in everything that you buy, you actually give feedback based on your dollars. Okay, you've voting dollars, like you have a lot of different things you can think about with your money. And I, I shared that I bring people on the journey, I get them excited, I tell them the process behind the thing. And eight years ago, I might not have done that because I might have been like oh my God they're going to take my idea. They're going to be able to do it. Now they know how to do it. Here's the thing. And Nick and I talked about this. James Altucher says that less than 2% of people, yeah, less than 2% of people actually take action on any idea, let alone yours. And being part of the process makes them want to do it. So at any rate, I really love that he brought that up. I think it's useful not just for authors, but for anyone creating anything anywhere. What did you love that he said?Brad Crowell 16:14  I really loved when he was talking about the different reasons that people use excuses, justifications that people use why they don't read. He was talking about, I'm so busy or in a company, I've got a family, you know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And he he always asks him, if I paid you $10,000 if you read this book in the next month would you do it? And of course, they would say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I would totally do it. And he said, great, I've caught you in my trap. And the trap is, is obviously prioritization. We don't prioritize reading so we don't read, right? And his book is pretty cool in that it gives some practical advice on how to read 20 books a year by doing 15 minutes a day, which is 1% of your day. If you, if you do that, you're going to put yourself on track to read those 20 books a year. And he basically said, listen, it's not a question of whether or not we can read the books. It's a question of whether or not we value it enough. Right? It's about picking books that solve problems and build skill sets. And so you know, you know, whether you read as an escape, like, you know, to like to step away from the crazy hectic that you have, or you read to learn. When you're picking up a book for, especially for the learning, the rest of his book helps you actually apply and retain and apply the information that you're learning from that book.Lesley Logan 17:55  Yeah, I mean, I actually do like that you said that. We had another guy who said like, what if I told you if I pay you a million dollars to lose 50 pounds overnight could you do it? And he went like 50 pounds overnight? And he said, sure you could. You could have a leg off. Right? He's like, not ideal, but you could, right? And I Brad Crowell 18:12  He did say that and I was like I heard, he did say that. That's true. Lesley Logan 18:17  There's always a way. And I think it is, you know, like really asking yourself what you're prioritizing. And I think we talked about this in the episode which is like, you know, your entertainment time? Like, how much of it are you watching? Like Netflix? What if you just took a little bit of it, like a little portion of your entertainment time and read a book? That could solve the problem.Brad Crowell 18:35  Well, I laughed when he said, Yeah, it was working for this guy who suggested that I take my drive time, my 10 hours of drive time and start listening to podcasts. And I started taking notes on the pods, then decided to implement some of the strategies on the pods. And later, that same boss was like, wait, hold on. So now you're reading books, you're taking notes on the books, and then you're actually taking that advice and implementing it into your life. And he said, Nick, that's weird. He said nobody does that. That's amazing.Lesley Logan 18:37  He was using it in his job and it was making him way better at his job. And his own boss was like, what? How do you know this? How do you do this? So like it can, if you want to differentiate yourself, like it's not about being like 10 years ahead of some people sometimes just being a little bit ahead and that knowledge is that kind of power. So yeah.Brad Crowell 19:26  It's true. Brad Crowell 19:27  All right, welcome back. So finally, let's talk about those Be It Action Items. What bold, executable, intrinsic or targeted action items can we take away from your convo with Nick Hutchison? He said, set a SMART goal for each of the books that you read. We've talked about SMART goals before. SMART stands, it's an acronym, stands for specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound goals. Right? So specific, measurable, measurable meaning what's not measured can't really be managed. So set goals that are measurable, attainable. Set a realistic goal, trying to consume too much of an unrealistic goal makes you, it allows procrastination to creep in because it doesn't seem attainable. Then, relevant. You emotionally connect to the information. What does this book going to do for you? Ask yourself why am I actually reading this book and then time-bound. Give yourself an actual deadline to take actions on what you're learning in that book. Or for some of us, it might just be a timeout action to read the damn thing in the first place. Right? So he also includes writing down intentions on the inside cover of the book that you own and then reviewing it every time you read another chapter. So what are your intentions for this book, finished chapter two, go back and read your intentions. finished chapter three, read your intentions, finished chapter four. I think it's a really interesting way to stay focused on what you're trying to get out of the book. And you know, instead of just being like, I'm reading the book, I got through the book. Okay, next. I got through that book, too. I got through this book, too. No, you're actually anchoring, what you're learning against what your intentions for that book were. Pretty cool. Lesley Logan 21:08  Or I think, also, if you, like some books might have several things you can learn from them. But if you stick with one intention, you can always go back through. And like read it with a different intention. Yeah, yeah. But this way, you can actually not just take in information, you can integrate what you're learning, because you're not taking on too much information at one time.Brad Crowell 21:24  I love it. What about you? Lesley Logan 21:25  Okay, he said do a little personal edit, find a problem that you're dealing with and identify the problem and then go there and find a book that can help you solve it correctly. So he said, a lot of us won't do this. He's a warrant. If you don't fix it over the next 30 years, you'll experience that problem almost 11,000 more times. So. Brad Crowell 21:42  It's pretty insane. Lesley Logan 21:43  It's insane. But it's true. And you're just like rerunning that in your head. So I would just say, a lot of times people ask for advice on like, what books should I be reading? But yes, you could ask others for that. That could be very helpful. But if you first identify the problem, you might like the book that you pick up first better because it's about you. And we only care about solving our own problems. On today's show, we once again open our Friday show with Tara Bull's Top 10 News Stories you likely did not hear on the Legacy/mainstream media this week. From audience feedback, I will be keeping this in the format for a long time to come! Next I give you my thoughts on why the members of the Freedom Caucus have been attending the court trial of Donald Trump in NYC. We know Trump puts a premium on loyalty and I think it's a good move for people who love the Constitution to be thought of favorably by Trump. If he wins the presidency, wouldn't it be great from Trump to use some of them in his cabinet or the executive branch? I then discuss some recent data on delinquency data for Americans. This data tracks the kinds of debts we have, like credit card, mortgages, auto loans and more and how many people are more than 30 days behind in paying their financial obligations. It's a worrisome indicator over how the Biden economy is beginning to collapse in middle and lower America. In a shock to my own mind, Fox Business's Neil Cavuto actually challenged Jared Bernstein, the chief economic advisor to Joe Biden, over why Biden keeps trying to say inflation was a 9% when he was elected? Remember, this is the blithering idiot who cannot explain why the government has debt if it can just print whatever money it needs? CNN cannot believe how badly Alvin Bragg screwed up the Donald Trump case by letting Michael testify on the stand. The lies keep building and even Leftists cannot avoid the debacle. It looks like the House Oversight Committee is holding AG Merrick Garland in contempt for failing to turn over the audio of the Biden interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur. So we need to discuss the catch-22 Joe Biden is in right now and there is no good way out. Seems the NIH is now admitting they did fund gain-of-function through EcoHealth Alliance, meaning Dr. Fauci lied, a lot! They also had to deal with a chain of emails stating they “knew how to hide emails” and “get around FOIA” requests. And, they admitted the social distancing mantra was all made up. Finally, as we close for the week, let's imagine that first debate coming up at the end of June. I know Biden is stacking the deck in his favor, but just imagine what Donald Trump's opening might sound like. For fun, we do exactly that. Barr's reasoning behind this endorsement is his belief that the true danger to the nation stems from the far-left. Barr expressed his views during a Fox News interview with Neil Cavuto when questioned about his endorsement of the former president, while having previously spoken criticism towards him. “At the end of the day, you have to remember — serving in his administration, I was fine with his policies. Bill Barr On Upcoming Election: ‘The Threat To Our Country Is From The Far-Left,' Not Trump

In a recent conversation, the prior U.S. Attorney General, Bill Barr, expressed his preference for the preceding commander-in-chief, Donald Trump, over current President Joe Biden. He attributed this to his perception that the most pressing danger to the United States stems from what he perceives as extremist left-wing ideologies. Barr made his sentiments known during a televised discussion on Fox News with host Neil Cavuto. The conversation pivoted to the subject of his continued backing of the ex-President, despite Barr having previously voiced issues with some of Trump's actions. Barr took care to clarify his stance, emphasizing that his tenure in the Trump administration was underscored by agreement with Trump's strategies. In his perspective, the policies that were set in motion during that time were indeed effective and beneficial for the country. He acknowledged a certain level of disquiet about Trump's comportment, specifically in the aftermath of the presidential election. Despite these frustrations, he strenuously argued against the notion that Trump is on a trajectory to become an autocrat or authoritarian figure in the mould of some right-wing despots. Rather than ascribing the risk of autocracy to Trump, Barr directed his concern towards what he sees as the left-wing element of the country. He believes that this group and its progressive tendencies pose a more substantial threat to the future of the United States. His concerns stemmed from what he sees as a gradual progression towards socialism and intolerance in the political discourse. In Barr's view, there is a worrying pattern of diminishing opposition voices, pointing to a phenomenon he calls 'cancel culture'. His unease extends to the academic sphere, where he observes a landscape that, in his opinion, is biased towards a single ideological perspective. This, he fears, leads to a lack of diversity in the discussions and debates across U.S. colleges. Barr also mentioned parents' involvement in their children's education as another realm where he sees overreach from those aligned with leftist ideologies. He worries about attempts to sideline parents in decisions concerning their children's education. Overall, Barr described the liberals as rather domineering, drawing some harsh conclusions. He characterized them as a 'group of henchmen' in his view, stating that this assemblage poses the real threat to American society. However, it's important to note that this is just one perspective. Even in conservative demographics, there are myriad perspectives and ideologies. Discussions about politics often involve robust debate and a range of opinions, and it's crucial that all voices are heard. Public figures like Barr have significant influence on these discussions. His background as the former U.S. Attorney General lends weight to his words. Regardless of one's political beliefs, it's important to recognize the potential impact that such statements can have on the public discourse. Though some may agree with Barr's view, others may not. The beauty of a democratic system lies in the ability to hear all outlooks and make informed choices based on a range of perspectives. As such, his statements serve not as a definitive assessment but rather as an invitation for continued discourse. The political landscape is fluid and constantly evolving. Today's perceived threats may not be tomorrow's, and vice versa. It's always the collective responsibility of society to ensure that the nation grows and develops with the best interests of all its citizens in mind. Jill Biden 'This Election will Turn in Joe's Favor'

In a recent televised conversation on 'CBS Mornings,' the First Lady, Jill Biden, appeared to quickly dismiss an inquiry from co-host Tony Dokoupil regarding recently published poll results. The poll in question, released by Wall Street Journal, revealed potential stumbling blocks for President Biden's re-election, with data indicating he is currently lagging behind his predecessor, Donald Trump, in the majority of key swing states identified for 2024. Jill Biden rebuffed these statistics emphatically, insisting that the situation was not as dire as the poll suggested. 'No, he's not falling behind,' she asserted before Dokoupil could provide a detailed explanation of the results. 'In the majority of competitive states, he is either gaining ground or has already improved his standing.' she maintained. With unwavering confidence, she was forthcoming about the future prospects of her husband's campaign. 'We're confident that as voters start to evaluate their alternatives, it would become increasingly clear that Joe is their best choice. This election, I believe, will turn in Joe's favor.' Despite the snappy remarks, Dokoupil continued by asking if she ever felt anxious about her husband's prospects of securing a second term. Her response was steadfast and unequivocal - 'No, not a bit. I am wholly convinced that Joe will triumph in the re-election.' Earlier that week, a segment aired on CNN, citing the Wall Street Journal survey which indicated that Biden was currently trailing Trump in six key swing states - Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia - while maintaining a narrow lead in Wisconsin. Perhaps more worrisome was the data that indicated Trump leading Biden on issues voters were particularly concerned about in this election cycle. CNN political analyst Harry Enten extrapolated on these findings. 'If we dive into the specifics, the reasons behind these numbers become clearer,' remarked Enten during his analysis. 'In essence, Trump is perceived as more trustworthy than Biden on a number of pivotal issues. These include, but are not limited to, the economy, inflation, immigration, border control, and the global conflicts in Israel and Ukraine.' Enten continued, 'A significant favorability gap exists on crucial matters. The economy and immigration show Trump leading by 20 points. He outpaces Biden by 14 points on the Israel-Hamas conflict, and 9 points on the Russia-Ukraine war. On the issue of safeguarding democracy, which has been a cornerstone of Biden's and the Democrats' rhetoric, the lead is negligible which could set off alarm bells within the Biden team.' However, he did note that, in fairness, Biden along with the Democrats had a distinct 12-point lead on the issue of abortion. While the Democrats would prefer this to be the central theme of the campaign, the current context and voter concerns lean towards other issues. Enten emphasized that on these prevailing issues, Trump had an advantage. Enten also brought to the forefront another notable concern - the notion of protecting democracy, a frequent talking point for the Democrats and Biden, seemed to be losing its potency amongst voters. Drawing parallels to last month's Quinnipiac University poll that indicated similar trends, he raised serious questions about Biden's sway over voters. Enten shared another insight, this time quoting Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s remark to their colleague, Erin Burnett. 'It's not clear cut - some voters think Biden might actually be doing more harm than good in terms of safeguarding democracy', Enten said. A sobering reflection, given the general sentiment amongst voters. Adding another worry, Enten mentioned that whether voters believed the U.S was on the 'right track' or the 'wrong track' attains significant attention during presidential campaigns. At present, only 25% of voters believe the nation is on the 'right track', thus hinting at another potential challenge for the incumbent party. Donald Trump's appeal amongst blue-collar voters, specifically in Michigan, was also discussed as a significant factor. As the auto industry remains a major employer in the state, employee loyalty in this sector towards Trump could be a game-changer. In an intriguing twist, Fain, the President of the United Auto Workers (UAW) union, seemed to substantiate this during an interview with Fox News. Fain's comments on electric vehicle sales downturn and its impact on the union labor force were discussed prior to host Neil Cavuto touching upon the fact that historically, a considerable portion of UAW members had rallied behind Republican presidents. Proceeding to highlight their support for Trump during the 2016 and 2020 campaigns, Fain was asked for his thoughts. Fain's response was fairly neutral. 'It's democracy in action,' he maintained. However, his subsequent comments appeared to hint at Trump's popularity amongst UAW members, albeit indirectly. Fain suggested, 'Permit me to state, a vast number of our members will not vote for Biden. Of course, some will, but the larger reality is that their vote is likely to be influenced by their paycheck. Our members will vote in alignment with their economic interests.' This sentiment revealed a potential advantage for Trump amongst a historically significant voter base. Senate Border Bill Finally Released…And It's A Disaster

The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (02/05/2024): 3:05pm- In a video posted to his X social media page, Governor Phil Murphy (D-NJ) advocated for allowing 16 and 17-year-olds to vote in school board elections in New Jersey. Gov. Murphy explained: “Young voters are the future of American democracy” and that by lowering the voting age, the state will be “inspiring our young neighbors to become lifelong voters.” 3:10pm- On Sunday, leadership in the U.S. Senate released the details of a bipartisan bill designed to reduce illegal border crossings, send $60 billion in military assistance to Ukraine, and $14.1 billion in aid to Israel. The 370-page bill mandates a border shutdown if more than 5,000 migrants unlawfully enter the U.S. in a single day. However, the shutdown cannot exceed 270 days in the bill's first year, 225 in the second year, and 180 days in the third year. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise has said the proposed “Senate border bill will not receive a vote in the House.” Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has echoed a similar sentiment—and announced the House will instead vote on a standalone bill later this week that will provide $14.3 billion of aid to Israel. 3:30pm- On Meet the Press with Kristen Welker, journalist Steve Kornacki revealed a new NBC poll which indicates Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump currently has a commanding head-to-head lead over President Joe Biden (D)—47% to 42%. According to Kornacki, it's the largest lead Trump has had over Biden since NBC began collecting data on Trump-Biden head-to-head presidential races in 2019. Trump's lead increases to 6-points when considering third-party candidates likely to run in the 2024 presidential race. 3:40pm- Dan McLaughlin—Senior Writer at National Review Online and Fellow at National Review Institute—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his most recent editorial, “A Major Showdown Over the Power of Agencies to Make Up Crimes.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nationalreview.com/2024/01/a-major-showdown-over-the-power-of-agencies-to-make-up-crimes/ 4:05pm- While speaking with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump hinted that he is considering South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott to be his Vice President. Trump also denied rumors that his campaign team reached out to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about the prospect of being VP. 4:15pm- While appearing on Fox News with host Maria Bartiromo, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem warned President Joe Biden against the federalization of the National Guard. The far-left has called on the President to utilize that tactic to upend Texas Governor Greg Abbott's strategies to secure the U.S. Southern border. 4:30pm- According to reports, rapper Lil Pump recently got a giant tattoo of Donald Trump's face on his leg. Meanwhile, on Real Time with Bill Maher, rapper Killer Mike refused to endorse Joe Biden for reelection. In 2016 and 2020, Killer Mike supported Bernie Sanders. Rich jokes, can Trump win the famous rapper vote in 2024? 4:45pm- Reacting to the bipartisan Senate border proposal, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL) told Fox News' Harris Faulkner that she is “absolutely shocked that anyone is even considering this garbage package.” She continued: “Biden is going to be putting more pressure on the Senate and the House—going to the American people trying to sell this knock off of a border deal. It's like they were trying to sell us on Gucci, but really it's the package that the guy around the corner in the alley pulled out of his trunk.” 4:50pm- The New York Post writes: “Sex workers must now compete with artificial intelligence, as the world's first AI brothel pioneers the future of sex. At first glance, Berlin's Cybrothel operates like a traditional escort business. Tens of thousands participate in annual March for Life, Trump: Nikki Haley “has no chance”, Texas begins arresting & charging illegal immigrants

It's Monday, January 22nd, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Muslims in Sudan, Africa set fire to church On Friday, January 12th, Muslim extremists from the Rapid Support Forces, a paramilitary group formerly operated by the Government of Sudan, set a church building on fire in Wad Medani, Sudan, reports Morning Star News. The blaze destroyed Bibles, hymnbooks, important documents and chairs  in the building. A pastor said Christians in Sudan fear they are being increasingly targeted. The Rapid Support Forces has killed civilians, raped women and girls, and looted homes and shops since taking control of the state in December. In Matthew 10:22-23, Jesus said, “You will be hated by everyone because of Me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another.” In the Open Doors' 2024 World Watch List of the countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian, Sudan now ranks #8, up from #10 the previous year. Trump: Nikki Haley “has no chance” Appearing on Sean Hannity's Fox News talk show, former president Donald Trump said that Nikki Haley doesn't have a chance of winning the New Hampshire primary tomorrow. TRUMP:  “She's not going to make it. She has no chance. She's got no way. MAGA – [Make America Great Again] -- is not going to be with her.” Hannity discussed why he thought the New Hampshire GOP primary was unfair. HANNITY: “I don't like their primary system for one reason. They have what's called an open primary. Already we know that nearly 4,000 Democratic voters have switched affiliation to Republican or undeclared, meaning independent, ahead of the primary, according to the Secretary of State's office. “Even [Republican] Governor [Chris] Sununu, not a friend of yours, told our own Neil Cavuto, that it's troubling that many of these people that will switch as Democrats and vote in the Republican primary, that, when push comes to shove, that they would choose Biden in the end over any Republican.” TRUMP: “So Democrats are allowed to vote. They're gonna vote for her because they don't want to run against me. They want to run against her. …  We are leading Biden in every poll. Michigan just came out -- we're leading by 11.  Georgia just came out -- we're leading by 13 points. We're leading everywhere now.” Nikki Haley: Trump lost the House, the Senate, & White House On January 18th, Nikki Haley spoke with reporters in New Hampshire about targeting Trump, reports RealClearPolitics.com. HALEY: “We were focused on DeSantis in Iowa. We're no longer focused on him. It's Trump in New Hampshire and Trump in South Carolina. “Trump says things. Americans aren't stupid to just believe what he says. The reality is, who lost the House for us? Who lost the Senate? Who lost the White House? Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Donald Trump. Nikki Haley will win every single one of those back for us. I've proven that. So. he can say whatever he wants.” Tens of thousands participate in annual March for Life Tens of thousands of pro-lifers braved the snow and the frigid cold on Friday, January 19th to participate in the nation's capital for the 51st annual March for Life, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Check out a link to a time-lapse video which shows the impressive size of the turnout at www.TheWorldview.com. Pro-lifers from across America gathered at the National Mall and marched a 2-mile route to a concluding spot between the U.S. Capitol and U.S. Supreme Court, celebrating the 2022 overturn of Roe v. Wade and building on that victory by urging Congress to take further action.  Former NFL player Benjamin Watson explained that even though Roe v. Wade was overturned, there is a lot of pro-life work yet to be done. WATSON: “I've been calling the period of time we're in right now, the New Fight for Life. “Roe is done, but we still live in a culture that knows not how to care for life. Roe is done, but the factors that drive women to seek abortions are ever apparent and ever increasing. Roe is done, but abortion is still legal and thriving in too much of America. Roe is done, but, even so, in the cold and the snow, you have continued to travel from around the nation to this place to recognize that the Fight for Life is not over. “God's Word challenges us in the book of Micah ‘to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly before our God.' I believe that this is the essence of what it means to be with every woman and for every child.” Jeanne Mancini, the President of March for Life, explained what a woman facing a crisis pregnancy really needs. MANCINI: “Studies have shown that 60% of women who choose abortion would have chosen life if they felt that they had more support. And not only that, but one in four women who choose abortion are coerced to have that abortion. “What does a woman most need when she is facing an unexpected pregnancy? She doesn't need fear mongering. She doesn't need shame. What she needs to hear is ‘You've got this' and ‘I will help you.'” And House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana shared a personal story. JOHNSON: “I am, myself, a product of an unplanned pregnancy. In January of 1972, exactly one year before Roe v. Wade, my parents, who were just teenagers at the time, chose life. And I am very profoundly grateful that they did. (Cheers) “We have to build a culture that encourages and assists more and more people to make that same decision. This is a critical time to help all moms who are facing unplanned pregnancies, to work with foster children, and to help families who are adopting to volunteer and assist our vital pregnancy resource centers, in our maternity homes and to reach out a renewed hand of compassion and to speak the truth and love. That's what we do.” In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” Texas begins arresting, charging illegal immigrants And finally, Texas authorities began arresting illegal immigrants at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass on Wednesday after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton defied a cease-and-desist letter sent by the Biden administration, reports The Epoch Times. The arrests were announced by Lieutenant Chris Olivarez at the Texas Department of Public Safety on X, formerly Twitter, complete with photos and videos. Lieutenant Olivarez said single adult migrant men and women were taken into state custody and charged with criminal trespassing under Governor Greg Abbott's new state law, which allows police to arrest and charge people suspected of entering the country illegally. Barr Calls on the Supreme Court to Get Rid of Trump Colorado Ruling

Ex-Attorney General Bill Barr has weighed in on the potential political future of former President Trump, but he did so without definitively clarifying his personal voting preferences. In recent statements made during a 'Cavuto Live' segment on Fox News, Barr subtly highlighted the possibility that Trump's intention to stave off legal proceedings may prove advantageous, given his presidential aspirations. He stopped short of declaring his support for, or against Trump's potential presidential run, choosing instead to deftly sidestep the issue stating, 'I'll make that leap when the time comes.' Barr's discussion with anchor Neil Cavuto delved into the the topic of the Supreme Court's recent decision against promptly ruling on whether Trump has immunity from prosecution. This is tied specifically to the matter of alleged electoral interference in 2020. Barr skillfully walked a diplomatic tightrope, providing an expert analysis of the implications that may unfold from this circumstance. The Supreme Court's choice to postpone a verdict comes in the aftermath of an appeal made by Trump's legal team not to accelerate the course of adjudication. This could imply that any legal proceedings surrounding the former president may encounter delays. As a direct outcome, in the event of any conviction on Trump's part on federal charges, it may not arrive until after the potential re-election of Trump is realized. Cavuto posed a critical question to Barr, requesting his agreement on the prevalent perception of Trump's 'run out the clock' strategy being effective. Barr, in his response, acknowledged the credibility of the speculation, conceding that Trump's approach might indeed prove triumphant as he has a robust arsenal of legal tools at his disposal.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Yesterday's guest, Bevelyn of Chaz, was arrested again, this time for not wearing a mask, along with Edmee of Manhattan and Ken Scott of the Heavenlies. And Bob Enyart reports the important development that baby body parts are not being used in the $1.6 billion dollar U.S. coronavirus vaccine contract that just went to Novavax, and that pharmaceutical giant Sanofi Pasteur has now discontinued using fetal tissue in the production of their polio vaccine. Then Bob continues his "train-up your mind" clear thinking segments using the atheist "Euthyphro's Dilemma" argument. Google ranks Bob's Christian reply #1 at kgov.com/euthyphro. Euthyphro Part 1 introduced Socrates' argument. Part 2 evaluated the Divine Command View. Part 3 introduced the Recognition View. In Part 4 the Recognition View Meets the Trinity. Those producing vaccines immorally include Moderna and Johnson & Johnson which use fetal tissue. We strongly urge everyone to boycott vaccines developed using tissue harvested from aborted unborn children. (Remember, many institutions and celebrities who have been "pro-choice" all along are now also calling to legalize infanticide, what they call after-birth abortion.) Related: Recently, pharmaceutical giant Sanofi Pasteur discontinued using fetal tissue for its polio vaccine! While many parents have other vaccine concerns this development is an important step toward moral and socially sustainable medicine.* RSR's 25 Christian COVID Conspiracies: Bob presents a list of conspiracies vs. actual pandemic insights.* "Cases Spiking" Fake News through June & July: (July Update) All of the breathless national media reporting on "spikes" in cases through June and July are nothing but fake news when delivered without context. The mainstream media, and even Fox News and many on their network including Neil Cavuto, report "spikes" without putting that data within the needed context of increased testing and especially, the long-term steady reduction in deaths Today's Video Resource: Get out of the Matrix Bob takes on a college professor and her philosophy class in a debate regarding absolutes. Who wins? The students have been taught that nothing is absolutely right or wrong, so Bob asks them if that is absolutely right. And they’ve been taught that they can only know that which their five senses have told them, so Bob asks them which of their five senses told them that. Is the lack of intellectualism in this college class representative of American higher education? You can decide as you view this video, one of Bob’s most extraordinary presentations.
