Kaventsmann – der Begriff steht für einen großen, schweren Gegenstand. Genau diese Gegenstände in Form von Tischen waren es, die der Kawentsmann GmbH aus Nottuln ihren Namen gegeben haben. Und weil der Betrieb grundsätzlich gerne mal unkonventionelle Wege geht und Dinge bewusst ein bisschen anders macht, schreibt sich der Firmenname mit „w“ statt mit „v“. Im Jahr 2016 ging das Unternehmen mit dem markanten Namen an den Start. Herzlich willkommen zu einer neuen Folge des BB RADIO Mitternachtstalk-Podcasts! Ich bin Jens Herrmann, euer Gastgeber, und heute habe ich zwei außergewöhnliche Gäste für euch: Heiko Tänzer und Danilo Trasper – die kreativen Köpfe hinter "ScharfesGELB", dem Kult-Eierlikör aus Senftenberg. Zwei Männer, die einst als Tiefbauer, Versicherungskaufmann, Tischler und Bäcker tätig waren und sich dann entschlossen, ihrer Leidenschaft zu folgen: Sie gründeten ihre eigene Likörmanufaktur. Die Idee dazu entstand 2009 – bei Heikos Junggesellenabschied. Und wie so oft bei solchen Anlässen floss reichlich Alkohol. Inspiriert von einem alten Familienrezept aus Heikos Familie tüftelten sie monatelang daran, den perfekten Eierlikör zu kreieren. Am 1. April 2010 war es dann soweit: "ScharfesGELB" erblickte das Licht der Welt. Was als vermeintliche Schnapsidee begann, entwickelte sich zu einer beeindruckenden Erfolgsgeschichte. Ihre erste Produktionsstätte war die Traditionsbäckerei Busch, in der Danilo arbeitete. Heiko, verantwortlich für das Marketing, hatte eine klare Vision: "ScharfesGELB" sollte ins Fernsehen – und das möglichst ohne großes Budget!" Inspiriert von Madonna, die ein Ed-Hardy-Shirt im TV trug, suchten sie nach einem deutschen Promi, der ihr Produkt präsentieren könnte. Sie schickten zahlreiche Pakete mit ihrem Eierlikör an verschiedene Stars – darunter auch Udo Lindenberg. Viele lehnten ab, doch der König von Mallorca, Jürgen Drews, zeigte Interesse. Seine Schwiegermutter fand nicht nur den Likör lecker, sondern auch die beiden Jungs sympathisch. Das war ihr Durchbruch: Bei der Eröffnung von Drews' Kultbistro in Santa Ponça am 1. Mai 2011 war "ScharfesGELB" für die Getränke verantwortlich – der Startschuss für eine steile Karriere! Bis 2013 wurde jede Flasche von Hand abgefüllt, 2014 folgte die Anschaffung einer vollautomatisierten Abfüllmaschine. Der alte Standort wurde zu klein – 2018 eröffneten sie ihre eigene Schaumanufaktur. Heute, 15 Jahre später, umfasst ihr Sortiment über 100 verschiedene Sorten des Kultlikörs aus der Lausitz. Ihre gläserne Manufaktur in Senftenberg zieht regelmäßig Reisegruppen an, die dort die Liköre verkosten können. Ein besonderes Highlight: Der schwarze Eierlikör "Black Mamba" mit schwarzer Vanille und Aktivkohle. Ganz neu: Rund 50.000 Bienen sammeln rund um den Firmensitz in der Spremberger Straße Honig für eine einzigartige Sorte – "Scharfe Goldbiene". Allerdings gibt es ein Problem: Die Kugeln sind auf dem Postweg verschollen. Und dann gibt es da noch diesen süßen deutschen Tischler, der ihr schöne Augen macht!
Glück ist ein wichtiges Thema in Bhutan. Das kleine Königreich im Himalaya erhebt regelmäßig eine ganz besondere Kennzahl: das Bruttonationalglück. Auch in den fernsten Dörfern des Landes werden die Menschen befragt, wie es um ihre Zufriedenheit steht. Von Bedeutung sind gutes Regieren und gerechtes Wirtschaften, aber auch ökologische Nachhaltigkeit und die Förderung des kulturellen Lebens.Uwe Dräger von der Deutschen Bhutan Himalaya Gesellschaft weiß, wie diese Erhebungen ablaufen: "Es werden 33 Aspekte abgefragt", berichtet er im Podcast "Wirtschaft Welt & Weit". So wird etwa die Work-Life-Balance erhoben, auch Bildungschancen spielen eine Rolle. Bhutans Glückswerte können sich laut Dräger sehen lassen: Sie liegen regelmäßig bei "weit über 90 Prozent".Zum Glücklich sein gehört weit mehr als Geldverdienen. Dennoch ist ein erfüllender Job, der genug Geld einbringt, ein wichtiger Faktor für das eigene Wohlbefinden. Daher suchen auch in Bhutan gerade junge Leute ihr finanzielles Glück im Ausland: Etwa 20.000 bis 25.000 junge, meist gut ausgebildete Bhutaner sollen inzwischen in Australien leben, erzählt Dräger im Podcast. Angelockt durch Devisen arbeiten sie überwiegend in der Gastronomie, der Pflege oder sind als Reinigungskräfte und Erntehelfer im Einsatz.Dabei gibt es auch in Bhutan viel zu tun, etwa im Handwerk. Doch manuelle Tätigkeiten seien bisher wenig beliebt, sagt Dräger. Ihm zufolge streben die Menschen stattdessen nach Büroarbeit. "Die sogenannten Blue-Collar-Jobs werden in Bhutan ganz viel von Indern gemacht." Die Regierung habe das Potenzial der gewerblichen Ausbildung allerdings inzwischen erkannt und versuche, sie zu pushen.Das geschieht auch mit deutscher Unterstützung. Eine Delegation aus Bhutan holte sich dafür bereits Anregungen direkt in Deutschland, etwa bei einem Besuch der Handwerkskammer in Frankfurt am Main. Zimmerleute, Tischler und Elektriker werden inzwischen vor Ort ausgebildet, erzählt Dräger, der in der neuen Podcast-Folge auch über seine eigene Arbeit in verschiedenen Projekten im Land berichtet.Ein bisschen Unterstützung für Bhutans Bruttonationalglück kommt also tatsächlich aus Deutschland. Known affectionately as the mother of animal law, this weeks guest Joyce Tischler has over 45 years of experience advocating for animal rights through the law in the US. Starting off in 1979 by co-founding the Animal Legal Defense Fund where Joyce would serve as executive director for 25 years, we hear about the first cases Joyce worked on as well as her bold decision to take on the US Navy. Joyce now lectures at the Lewis and Clark Law School in the Centre for Animal Law, specialising in Industrial animal agriculture law teaching students both locally and internationally.
