Episode 29: Marcella Kroll | Quantum Origins and the Great Cosmic Puzzle

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 20, 2021 68:23

After a long hiatus of recording, we are finally back! I am more than thrilled to share this new Radio Amenti episode featuring my friend, Marcella Kroll. Marcella and I connected through social media around the time Amenti Oracle came out, and we each gifted each other copies of our respective decks. Marcella's Sacred Symbols Oracle went on to become one of my favorite metaphysical tools, and I always felt such a kindred connection to her work. When we finally met IRL in LA (2 years ago, I think? But, what is time anyway), I had that same feeling of kindred connection, like reuniting with a friend from the past. Marcella is a gifted psychic, artist, medium, oracle, and channel. A polymath of the metaphysical, I have so much respect for all that she does and creates, and this conversation was such a joy. About Marcella: Marcella Kroll is an artist, creator, performer, and psychic medium. Her spiritual guidance provides insight, clarity, and healing on core levels to her clients and students. Embracing her multidimensional and diverse ancestral bloodlines, Marcella offers a safe container for those ready to explore the liminal and do the deep work, either in private sessions or in the sacred sanctuary of learning, ceremony, or ritual. Through these mediums, she offers others the illumination of their gifts, life purpose, and clarity on what strengths or stumbling blocks may be available for support. Diving deep into past lives, ancestral ties, and even galactic connections through a combination of clairvoyance, clairaudience, mediumship, Tarot, and oracle cards are just some of the ways Marcella can connect and guide you along your journey. Guideship is the unique gift she has to offer you, as you are the sole leader of your Earthwalk.  With 26 years of experience as a Tarot reader, Marcella offers readings and teaches classes that bring you back to your magical empowerment. Marcella is a program presenter for the Los Angeles Public Library, leading courses for teens and tweens on the Tarot. She is the creator and illustrator of The Dreamers Tarot, The Sacred Symbols Oracle, The Nature-Nurture Oracle, Cutting the Cord Zine, and PRIESTESS - A Magical Grimoire. Marcella is also a contributing writer for Taschen and public speaker on Divination and Magic for many podcasts and panels worldwide, including the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.  As an artist and consultant she has contributed to the continuity and development of characters for the Film and Television industry and even in the VR (Virtual Reality) Gaming world. Kroll has also exhibited and held artist residencies in various galleries worldwide and internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She also has original work in the permanent collection of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design Museum. SOURCE: Marcella Kroll's website In this episode we have a multi-dimensional, fractal conversation (my favorite types of chats to have) about Marcella's life story, psychic phenomena, ETs, past lives, channeling the ineffable into art and more. This hour flew by SO FAST, and I am certain this will be the first of many Radio Amenti conversations to come. Check out our episode below! Well, after trying to record this episode over 13 times (I'm not even exaggerating), I finally got it down, and was able to share an adequate monologue about "change." Luckily, this one feels pretty useful, at least I think it is?! “All that you touch You Change. All that you Change Changes you. The only lasting truth is Change. God is Change.” ― Octavia E. Butler Inspired by the work of the incredible late author, Octavia E. Butler, I share a few quotes from Parable of the Sower (1993), intertwined with reflections on alchemy (and the Tria Prima), Mind, Biblically accurate angels, Everyday Amenti, homesickness, the concept of Hiraeth, the preciousness of human connection, the importance of creating boundaries, letting go, and discerning. For this chat, we dive into strange terrain, including the UFO/UAP phenomena, disclosure (is it going to happen, and if so, what does it all mean?), why aren't there more movies featuring grey aliens + my The Greada Treaty theory, my terrifying encounter with a mysterious Black Triangle on the beach in the summer of 2014, the power of creativity as metaphorical manna, and much, much more. Michael and I will be hanging IRL in Austin, TX for an event with our podcast network, Timewheel, and our other buddy, Mike Brancatelli (host of Mikeadelic) at the Church of the Sacred Womb on July 10th. Join us for an evening of ecstatic dance (not really my thing, but will be super fun for those who like that stuff), Mind Melds, new friends and much more.   About Michael Phillip: Driven by unquenchable curiosity, Michael has managed to cut through the digital noise to build a significant presence online. This is a quick listen, and not meant to be super indulgent, but rather to just humanize your host so you know what's been happening in the process of - as we say here at Radio Amenti - making sense of change. Hi, friends! I am so psyched to share this episode with my dear friends, Devin Person and Jim Perry - that we've affectionately called "The XXX Files".  In this "triad" of greatness we have a casual, and hysterical, conversation about invisible realms, high strangeness, and the spaces in between those sights unseen. I love Devin's write up about the episode too, so I'm just going to copy and paste this here for your enjoyment: In the New Age corner, we've got Jennifer Sodini (previously on How to Evolve and Ascend), an amazing human who can talk angels and ayahuasca ceremonies while keeping a steady third-eye on conspirituality and spiritual bypassing. In the Paranormal corner, hailing from parts unknown, we've got everyone's favorite cryptid conversationalist, Jim Perry of Euphomet (previously on How to Explore the Unknown). And then representing the Occult in all its utmost seriousness, you have your favorite somber wizard... me. This chat was super fun and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. I've got a strong hunch Jim and Jen and I will be doing these more often, especially once we nail down a name and some cool team-up cover art. I was super embarrassed about the glitch, but Pea graciously allowed me to do a TAKE TWO, and as fate would have it, the timing was absolutely perfect. This conversation is filled with a lot of laughs, insight, and creative flow. We discuss Pea’s journey into exploring imaginal realms, her art/creativity, Human Design, the sacred art of transmutation, the game of life and how it feels like we are currently “trip sitting The Matrix.” We also discuss crazy wisdom and the “interesting” d*ck art of Bhutan (see: Phallus paintings in Bhutan). About Pea the Feary: “I am Pea the Feary (Faerie) I consider myself an Afrofuturist and Seer. My work is about possibility, potential and realization. I am a strong believer in universal consciousness and I aim to spread the idea that everything is connected. The possibilities of what the universe can provide are endless and all within reach because we are already connected to everything. I want as many people as possible to understand that they are a part of every bit of this world. That gives us the power and the right to make things happen. I believe that a voice without judgement when used, can be the voice that will lead society towards expansion. The same particles that make up the stars in the sky and water in the ocean are in all of us. All that matters is how those particles are arranged. In this conversation we discuss the art of tarot (literally), celebrating failure and embracing imperfection, creativity, music, dreams, "the third thing", and much more! A little about Mike: Mike produces art and music and resides in the weird town of Toms River, NJ. He is an enthusiast of Magick, Qabalah, and Psychotherapy; he works to find realistic connections with these concepts in art and collaborative projects like in his latest endeavor, "Best Tarot". Here's a bit about best tarot: Best Tarot is the product of over 40 professional artists, amateur doodlers, and people who haven’t attempted to draw since grade school art class. These folks were given 60 seconds to look at a classic Tarot card, an unwieldy black marker, and a sheet of paper. Then, they had to draw the card they had been looking at using only their memory as a reference, some artists executing most of the 60 second reference onto paper and some failing beautifully. Giya and I connected on Instagram about a year ago, after I saw a post she made using the Amenti Oracle deck. Our friendship has naturally evolved, and our connection is incredibly special. Gentle, wise, brilliant, bold, DIALED IN, graceful and gorgeous, Giya has a way of articulating the liminal space that is really unique. I love her energy, and the beauty she shares through her platform. I am thrilled to introduce you to her work in this interview, and foresee her star rising in the coming months (you heard it here first)! I've titled this episode "The Miss Honey of Hogwarts", because (as you'll find out in this conversation), that's exactly the energy Giya transmits. Sweet like Miss Honey from Matilda, but POWERFUL like a teacher right out of the Hogwarts x Harry Potter Universe! About Giya: When she decided to start sharing her specific brand of healing, Giya Venus quickly found that she was overwhelmed at the sheer amount of titles people were being given to describe their brand. Was she a healer, a shaman, a coach, a witch? Or was she somehow all of those things? Was she magic or just a human trying to make sense of it all? Giya Venus is a shaman well versed in channeling, many forms of divination, energy healing as a light goddess, reiki practitioner and Akashic Records Reader. Her goal is to share tools that everyone can use at any stage of their journey to awaken to their fullest potential, elevate the collective consciousness, and integrate their own brand of magic into the dream of this world. A few days ago in an Instagram poll, I asked my audience if they preferred I do a solo-cast episode on "Love/Sex" or "Laughter" - and the vast majority voted for "Love/Sex", so here goes! In this solo-cast episode, I talk about love, sex, romance, love as a space of consciousness, all sorts of things. I get pretty vulnerable, and it was oddly cathartic, while also somewhat nervewracking. In any event, it feels like this was a potent transmission to share with everyone - whether you're single, in love, married, or in an undefined territory, I hope this makes you feel less alone in any struggles you may be having when it comes to matters of the heart. I hope you enjoy what was shared. I LOVE YOU! Featured clips... Tricia shares her origin story and what lead her to work in the healing space, as well as some of the big lessons she has learned working with MDMA, Iboga, Bwiti, Kogi, ayahuasca, and Bufo Alvarius (sacred toad medicine). A little about Tricia: "Tricia Eastman is a pioneer in the psychedelic movement. As a medicine woman, she offers highly curated retreats in countries where use is legal working with 5-MeO-DMT, psilocybin mushrooms, and Iboga. She has been initiated into Bwiti traditions of Fang and Ngonde Missoko tradition, as well as facilitated the psychospiritual iboga program for Crossroads Treatment Center in Mexico. Since 2015, Eastman has supported 1200+ people through powerful medicine experiences including celebrities, political leaders, and Navy Seal veterans. On average, it is believed we spend an estimated 26-years of our life sleeping. Sarah Zucker and I have a rare, and precious connection in both waking and astral life. His new book is HIGH MAGICK: A Guide to the Spiritual Practices That Saved My Life on Death Row (Sounds True, October 30, 2018). He and Lorri live in Harlem. For more, visit damienechols.com. Damien Echols was one of the West Memphis Three, three teenagers (at the time) who were aged between 16 and 18 and wrongfully accused of murder in what felt like a witch-hunt of a trial. This harrowing story was explored in the documentary Paradise Lost as well as West of Memphis (produced by Peter Jackson and Fran Wals), and in the feature film starring Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth Devils Knot. Echols, along with Jessie Miskelley Jr., and Jason Baldwin were convicted as teenagers in 1994 for the 1993 murders of three boys in West Memphis, Arkansas. Echols was sentenced to death, Misskelley, Jr. to life imprisonment plus two 20-year sentences, and Jason Baldwin to life imprisonment. During the trial, the prosecution asserted that the juveniles killed the children as part of a Satanic ritual. It's a harrowing case, and the story is stranger than fiction, but with an alchemical lens, and the mindset of the magician, Echols persevered through the adversity, citing his Magickal practice as one of the key elements for surviving such a horrendous experience, and living to tell the tale through his books, work, teachings and embodied wisdom. This conversation is filled with wisdom, as we explore what magick is and isn't, the interconnected nature of all things, and how even through adversity and the dark night of the soul on the hero's journey, the light will always prevail. Damien is a kind, gracious being, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share our dialogue with you all...
