What happens when a tech strategist steps into the emotionally charged world of pediatric vaccines? You get VAX Calc, and a no-BS conversation that shakes the foundations of medical conformity. In this episode, Tim and May sit down with Chris Downey, founder of VAX Calc and former NVIC volunteer, to unpack the chaos of vaccine discourse. Drawing from over two decades in software and systems design, Chris shares how he built VAX Calc to give parents real agency in their child's healthcare — without scare tactics or censorship. You'll hear how AI can humanize medicine, how character-based tools like “Tony” help parents navigate power dynamics in the exam room, and why true informed consent requires courage — not compliance. This isn't just a tech solution. It's a wake-up call for patients and practitioners alike. From disappearing data to the dangers of dogma, we explore:Why vaccine risk info is buried — and how Chris is preserving itThe flaws in the “trust your doctor” narrativeHow AI can empower patients rather than replace providersWhat pediatric visits have in common with mob tactics (yes, Tony explains)Our Advice!Everything in this podcast is for educational purposes only. In this explosive and highly anticipated episode, Dr. Roger McFillin hosts Dr. Ragy Girgis, a Columbia University Professor of Psychiatry and researcher, for a no-holds-barred confrontation that exposes the shocking divisions tearing apart the mental health field. What begins as a conversation about mass violence research rapidly explodes into a devastating examination of psychiatric medicine's crumbling foundations, questionable effectiveness, and devastating potential harms. The two clash in fierce, unrelenting disagreements over fundamental issues including the validity of DSM diagnoses, the debunked "chemical imbalance" theory of depression, dangerous SSRI safety cover-ups and black box warnings, corrupted research quality and pharmaceutical industry manipulation, and the catastrophic crisis of psychiatric drug overprescription poisoning 1 in 4-5 Americans. Dr. Girgis desperately defends traditional academic psychiatry and current treatment approaches, while Dr. McFillin ruthlessly dismantles the entire paradigm, arguing that the current system is systematically creating chronic mental illness rather than healing it. Buckle up for this brutal intellectual warfare.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Throughout the interview, Dr. Girgis repeatedly stated that "the data is clear" while dismissing contradictory evidence that challenges his conclusions. For our listeners' benefit, I have compiled research and documentation that directly disputes several of Dr. Girgis's key claims.Serotonin Hypothesis of Depression1. The serotonin theory of depression: a systematic umbrella review of the evidence (Moncrieff et al.)Conclusions: "This review suggests that the huge research effort based on the serotonin hypothesis has NOT produced convincing evidence of a biochemical basis to depression. This is consistent with research on many other biological markers . We suggest it is time to acknowledge that the serotonin theory of depression is NOT empirically substantiated."2.What has serotonin to do with depression? Conclusions: "Simple biochemical theories that link low levels of serotonin with depressed mood are no longer tenable."3. Have you ever walked out of a doctor's office feeling unheard, unseen, or told everything was 'normal'—even though you knew something was off? You're not alone. In this powerful episode, we're pulling back the curtain on medical gaslighting—the subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) ways women are dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left without real answers when it comes to their health. We also break down what evidence-based care really means—and how it often gets used as a shield for lazy medicine that doesn't serve women in perimenopause, postpartum, or even during puberty. We cover:- The most common forms of medical gaslighting (and why they're so damaging)- What “evidence-based” care should mean vs. how it's misused- Why so many women are told “everything looks fine” when their hormones are clearly not- How to advocate for yourself when you're not being taken seriously- Why your lived experience is data—and deserves to be part of your care planThis is an episode for every woman who has ever been brushed off, labeled as “dramatic,” or told to “just wait it out.” Your voice matters. Your symptoms matter. And it's time we stop settling for surface-level care that ignores the bigger picture.

In this emotional episode of Stand Up For The Truth, Crash Connell chats again with Scott Schara, father of #GraceSchara, a 19-year-old with #DownSyndrome who died in 2021 under what he calls "state-approved euthanasia" at a Wisconsin hospital. Scott walks through the shocking details of the recent #MedicalMalpractice trial—how the hospital administered lethal meds without proper #InformedConsent and placed a #DNR without family approval. Despite compelling testimony and expert witnesses, the jury sided with the defense after only 15 minutes. Scott believes this case exposed how deeply the #MedicalSystem is protected by a corrupt #LegalSystem. Scott says the case was never about money—it was about #Justice, #Truth, and protecting others. He warns of a growing culture of #Collectivism in medicine, where convenience and cost are prioritized over individual life. He sees the verdict as part of a larger #SpiritualBattle and encourages believers to wake up and take responsibility for their own health. He continues to speak out at OurAmazingGrace.net, urging the remnant to stand firm, stay alert, and remember that #GodIsSovereign. No video of today's podcast (producer has the day off, above Crash's pay grade).
In this episode, Dr. Eithan Haim discusses the implications of transgender surgeries for minors, the role of informed consent, and the psychological effects of transitioning. He shares his experience as a whistleblower exposing unethical practices at Texas Children's Hospital and emphasizes the importance of parental involvement in medical decisions. The conversation also touches on the legal and ethical challenges within the healthcare system, the power dynamics in medical institutions, and the need for more whistleblowers to protect children's rights. Dr. Robert Sullivan, a 49-year-old anesthesiologist in peak physical condition, was featured in the Wall Street Journal for his aerial circus arts just months before getting his COVID vaccine. Within weeks of his second shot, he could barely walk upstairs without gasping for air. Diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension—a condition so rare it affects 1 in a million people and typically kills within 3-7 years—Dr. Sullivan found himself trapped between two devastating realities: his medical colleagues' dismissive silence and his own desperate search for answers. When the scientific method becomes subordinate to pharmaceutical profits and government narratives, medicine dies and propaganda in white coats takes its place. Dr. Sullivan and Dr. McFillin discuss the dangerous psychology of medical compliance and dissect how groupthink has weaponized modern healthcare. In this episode of The Pulling Curls Podcast, Hilary welcomes certified nurse midwife Juli Pyle to dive into the topic of informed consent in labor and delivery. Together, they break down what informed consent really means, the key components every patient should know, and how it plays out during childbirth. Juli and Hilary share personal stories from both sides—provider and patient—highlighting why these conversations matter and how they can empower you to make the best choices for your birth experience. Whether you're planning your first delivery or looking to better understand your options, this episode provides practical tips for having more effective, respectful discussions with your care team. Big thanks to our sponsor The Online Prenatal Class for Couples -- if you want to learn to communicate better, it is the class for you! Today's guest is Today's guest is Juli Pyle (she/her) a certified nurse midwife who practices at a community hospital in rural Pennsylvania. Juli was a stay at mom for many years to five children before deciding to return to school to pursue a degree in nursing. She graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a bachelors of science in nursing degree in 2016 and then began her nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse. She quickly discovered that this was her true passion (as she had suspected since having her own children) and quickly gained a reputation for professionalism, compassion and expertise among colleagues and patients. She then returned to Frontier Nursing University to complete a Master's degree in Nursing with an emphasis in midwifery. In 2020, she graduated and began as a certified nurse-midwife at a small community hospital in central Pennsylvania where she has been since that time. Her focus as a CNM is to provide evidence-based education to all birthing families, give true autonomy and informed consent throughout their time with her and to share love, understanding, empathy and true shared-decision making. When not immersed in the birthing world, she enjoys spending time refinishing furniture, gardening, raising and breeding different types of chickens, hiking and vacationing with her family. There are five main components of informed consent: patient understanding, absence of coercion, full disclosure of risks/benefits/alternatives, the right to decline, and documentation of the discussion. Time pressure, provider biases, and regional/cultural differences often affect how effectively informed consent is communicated in hospitals. Patients are encouraged to ask, at any point, for the risks, benefits, and alternatives to a procedure—it's their right, even for routine interventions. Some medical staff may overwhelm patients with information, while others may inadvertently minimize discussion; finding the right balance to suit each patient is key. Regional culture, age, language, and personal preference play huge roles in how much information patients want or are comfortable with during labor and delivery. Informed consent isn't just for major decisions like C-sections or epidurals—it can and should apply to things like cervical exams and labor positions, even in less formal, conversational ways. Declining a recommended intervention (e.g., breaking water, episiotomy, induction) is absolutely an option for patients, and the birth experience should support their decision, barring emergency situations. The benefits of midwifery care are highlighted, including a more holistic and consistent approach to informed consent and labor support, but ultimately provider style matters more than title. Good communication and shared decision-making between providers and patients help prevent birth trauma and litigation, reinforcing the importance of patients feeling informed and respected during their birth experience. Vaccines have become one of the most polarizing topics in public health, and frankly, for valid reasons. What we've witnessed over the past few years is an unprecedented breakdown in trust between medical institutions and the public - and that didn't happen in a vacuum. What is the truth about Vaccine Safety and Efficacy? Dr. Roger McFillin sits down with vaccine safety epidemiologist Allison Krug to expose the hidden forces shaping public health, from vaccine safety to the weaponization of fear. They dive deep into the failures of placebo-controlled trials, the truth about natural immunity vs. vaccine-induced immunity, and why good evidence is harder to find than you think. Allison shares what she learned working inside the pharmaceutical industry and reveals how mindset, belief systems, and disconnection from nature and spirituality are fueling today's chronic illness crisis. If you've ever questioned mainstream medicine or want to reclaim your health and autonomy, this conversation will change how you see the world.00:00 Introduction00:05:32 The Danger of Outsourcing Health to "Experts"00:20:45 Mindset, Pain, and the Illusion of Powerlessness00:42:49 Consciousness and the Healing Power Within01:05:32 Germ Theory, Genetics, and the Loss of Agency01:15:47 Awakening to Frequencies: A Spiritual Revolution01:22:23 Dark Spiritual Forces and the Battle for Consciousness01:31:27 How Public Schools Crush Creativity and Independence01:49:05 Medical Paradigm Flaws: What They're Not Telling You01:55:40 Spiritual Emptiness: The Hidden Cost of Modern Culture02:00:12 Radical Responsibility and the Return to Divine LoveAllision Krug WebsiteAllision Krug on XAllison Krug on Megyn Kelly COVID-19 vaccine boosters for young adults: a risk benefit assessment and ethical analysis of mandate policies at universities Dr. Roger McFillin / Radically Genuine WebsiteYouTube @RadicallyGenuineDr. Roger McFillin (@DrMcFillin) / XSubstack | Radically Genuine | Dr. Roger McFillinInstagram @radicallygenuineContact Radically GenuineConscious Clinician CollectivePLEASE SUPPORT OUR PARTNERS15% Off Pure Spectrum CBD (Code: RadicallyGenuine)10% off Lovetuner click here

In 2019, a study from Denmark by Hviid, et al, purported to demonstrate that there was no link between the MMR vaccine and autism, even among genetically susceptible populations. The study was strongly critiqued at the time, and now, journalist Jeremy R. Hammond, along with Dr. Brian Hooker and Dr. Jeet Varia, has published a paper that addresses the serious flaws in Hviid et al, in the Journal of Biotechnology and Biomedicine. I talk with Jeremy about Hviid et al, and about his own paper, and about the state of research into the connection between vaccines and autism more broadly.Links:Hviid et al. 2019Jeremy's paperThis article summarizes key points from Jeremy's paper:I discussed medical licensing with Jeremy here.Jeremy exposes the WaPo's Lena Sun here....and the AAP's “vaccines do not cause autism” claim, here.Jeremy's book, "The War on Informed Consent" is one of the most concise and informative works on the suppression of science and discussion regarding vaccines.https://www.jeremyrhammond.com/product/the-war-on-informed-consent/You can find Jeremy here, and here.

How do we learn ? Asking questions. How do we improve ? Asking questions. Science is not a religion. Science by its very nature is designed to be questioned. When it comes to advances in science and the medical world I believe we live in one of the best times. I am not about anti-vaccine conversations I'm about informed consent conversations. If my doctor tells me I have a debilitating disease and my chances are slim. But there is a new medication that may help. But he explains clearly and factually the possible side effects. Or the fact that the drug is quite new and there's not enough data to confirm long term adverse effects. But with that knowledge I'm able to decide for myself the odds are worth the risk compared to doing nothing. Well I just explained what DO NOT happen during the COVID pandemic. COVID in all its iterations is only a danger for the elderly or truly sick. Those with existing comorbidities that a simple cold would push them over the edge. Yet an experimental mRNA Vaxx was pushed on healthy adults and children with no regard for bodily autonomy. We unpack all this and more on this episode of The Ugly Truth. Professor Jon Jureidini is a child psychiatrist who leads the Critical and Ethical Mental Health research group at Adelaide University in Australia. His forensic deconstruction of industry-sponsored clinical trials has exposed how pharmaceutical companies manipulate data, employ ghostwriters, and cultivate academic figureheads to create an illusion of scientific consensus around their products. Prof. Jureidini has revealed how medications prescribed to our most vulnerable populations—children and adolescents—gained approval based on studies that were fundamentally misrepresented in the scientific literature. In his groundbreaking book, 'The Illusion of Evidence-Based Medicine: Exposing the crisis of credibility in clinical research,' co-authored with Leemon McHenry, he systematically demonstrates how commercial interests have hijacked the evidence base that clinicians rely on, compromising patient care in the process. His work raises profound questions about the integrity of published research and challenges us to reconsider the foundations of modern medicine. Jureidini reveals shocking findings about the landmark 'Treatment of Adolescent Depression Study (TADS) study that's been used to justify prescribing antidepressants to teenagers—despite evidence showing a five-fold increase in suicidal events. With nearly 20% of adolescent girls now taking SSRIs, this conversation exposes the profit-driven deception that puts millions of developing brains at risk while pharmaceutical companies continue to thrive on what Jureidini calls "the illusion of evidence-based medicineChapters00:00 Introduction to the Crisis in Psychiatry02:20 The Illusion of Evidence-Based Medicine04:34 The TADS Study: A Closer Look10:47 Evaluating the TADS Study's Findings14:22 The Ethics of Informed Consent26:28 Risks and Alternatives in Treatment32:59 The Controversy of Antidepressant Prescriptions35:46 Ethical Concerns in Pharmaceutical Practices40:29 The Impact of Clinical Trials on Drug Approval47:08 Challenges in Psychiatric Research and Publication50:29 Restoring Trust in Scientific Integrity58:20 A Shift Towards Social Determinants of Mental Health RADICALLY GENUINE PODCASTDr. Roger McFillin / Radically Genuine WebsiteYouTube @RadicallyGenuineDr. Roger McFillin (@DrMcFillin) / XSubstack | Radically Genuine | Dr. Roger McFillinInstagram @radicallygenuineContact Radically GenuineConscious Clinician CollectivePLEASE SUPPORT OUR PARTNERS15% Off Pure Spectrum CBD (Code: RadicallyGenuine)10% off Lovetuner click here—-----------FREE DOWNLOAD! We kick off our two-part Circumcision series— a topic you all have been begging us to cover for the last two years!— with none other than the Executive Director and Chairperson of Intact America, Georganne Chapin MPhil, JD.There is nothing we shy away from in this episode. Don't worry, we don't walk on any egg shells. While debunking common circumcision myths, like how this surgery helps to prevent UTIs, STDs, and HIV, is fun and intriguing, Georganne reminds us that it's important to shift our focus away from debunking myths (don't worry, we still do!) and instead onto exercising our innate common sense about the necessity of this practice. You'll hear about the origins of this surgery, which countries do it and why, and the undeniably uncomfortable details of the procedure itself. This isn't for the faint of heart, but if you are going to put your son through this, then you should know what it entails, FULLY. Georganne explains why circumcision is not exclusively a men's issue, and why circumcision has a lasting effect on women from the mothers of circumcised sons to the future female partners of circumcised men. Women DO have a voice in the circumcision debate, and soon-to-be moms should not sit on the sidelines while tasking their husbands to call the shots on this permanent, life-altering choice on behalf of their son.We learn about the lasting trauma of the procedure, the function and benefit of foreskin, how the trends and stats have changed over time in regard to the choice to circumcise, and why we prefer the term "intact" over "uncircumcised."Follow @intactamerica on instagramCheck out Intact America's resourcesResources mentioned in this episode:This Penis Business, Georganne's bookIntact AmericaCircumcision, an Elephant in the Hospital Excerpts - the video April references Skin in the Game Event in New York with Alan Cumming April 30th, 2025!Foreskin Day 2025 VideoHealthy Children Foreskin Retraction resourceReport circumcision injury through DoNoHarm.ReportPlease Don't Cut the Baby: A Nurse's Memoir Listen to our friend Fierce Lizzie's episode on circumcision on Unmedicated Girlies podcast hereSupport the showJOIN OUR NEW, PRIVATE COMMUNITY!
