He also has been an Assistant Professor in the Florida Proton Therapy Institute, Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, and an Assistant Professor at the Shands Cancer Center, Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida, Gainesvile. Dr. Keole's research interests include image guidance and motion management. His disease site interests are in pediatric, central nervous system, genitourinary and breast malignancies. Dr. Keole is board certified in radiation oncology. He serves as the Government Relations Council Chair of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology. He is a cofounder of the Proton Collaborative Group (PCG), which was the multi-institutional group to launch proton-specific clinical trials and a prospective patient registry.
