Interview with Brandon Straka - interesting and a little combative. Born and raised in rural Nebraska and now a resident of New York City, Brandon created and promotes his #WalkAway Campaign message and his desire to bring a new awareness and understanding to the reality of politics in America today. He left his hatred for Trump and the Democratic party and "walked away" to the MAGA Republicans where he claims his mission is to unify America. We thought his message, while interesting, was a bit extreme in that he feels to fix America means burning the government to the ground. The most interesting takeaway here is that we agreed with Brandon on many topics and it was clear we wanted many of the same things despite our opposing party affiliations. We just felt there was a different way of achieving the goals than "walking away." Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

It all started with an anonymous piece in the NY Times in 2018 from a high source inside the Trump administration who revealed publicly what Trump's cabinet members were saying privately - that the President was unstable and unfit for office. While serving in top roles in the Department of Homeland security, Taylor had witnessed shocking acts of corruption that led him, with the support of other high ranking Republicans within the administration, to write the essay and, later, a book about his observations. Now, Miles, under his own name, has published a second book which appeared on the NY Times Bestseller List. We had the opportunity to speak with this conservative patriot and ask about some of the things he saw and why he's so concerned about Trump's, or a facsimile, return to the oval office. We also pressed him on what he does and doesn't like about the new direction of the GOP and the Biden administration. It sounds like a sobering episode and much of it is but, you know the Two Guys. They are not going to allow the destruction our of democracy to get in the way of humor and, surprisingly, this serious author blended right in. Anderson Cooper and Kanye West on the Stink list. Why? A world EXCLUSIVE 40 minute interview with Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter, and his wife Francie, (specifically talking about the accusations thrown at Dog) after the couples appearance on a Facebook Live show to promote their upcoming appearance at a church in Washington state.  Alan Nevins (a past but longtime manager of Duane and Beth Chapman), and his co-host, Joey Santos, had lots of questions for the duo about their remarks, especially since the press promoted his outburst as a "homophobic rant" and a threat against failed Bud Light promoter Dylan Mulvaney. The video went viral hitting news outlets across the country. The co-hosts point out that the person who was inferred in the appearance does not identify as gay but as a transgendered woman. Both podcast hosts have their own annoyances with how the press handled the announcement. The interview gets heated on both sides, especially when talking about Christianity vs. “Hypo-Christianity” and how homosexuality is interpreted by the Christian faith and the various mis-interpretations found in the bible itself. The hosts breakdown the Facebook interview piece by piece so that the audience can understand how Duane and Francie's remarks might have been taken out of context. The “Two Guys” insist that in a world where no one “listens and learns” everyone deserves the chance to at least be heard!  Many will find this interview enlightening but certainly will be shocked by what Dog and Francie ultimately say about Dylan Mulvaney and gays. They stand by their faith and are unapologetic for how they want to live their lives and their perspective on the world around them. .  Learn more about your ad choices. We know his films, his albums, we might even know his marriage history, his family and his scandals...but what do we really know about the man himself? FRANK SINATRA is to this day one of the most influential and iconic musicians to grace this planet, and on this week's episode, Alan and Joey are talking to a man that knew him better than most – TONY OPPEDISANO. Tony met Frank back in 1972 and from that fateful night until the day he died, they were inseparable. Tony held many roles in Frank's life: member of his management team, confidant, but most importantly, dear friend. Tony's new and poignant book SINATRA AND ME: IN THE WEE SMALL HOURS, publishes this very week, and Two Guys from Hollywood is giving you an EXCLUSIVE look into his world. This book has been decades in the making - ever since Tony promised Frank that one day he'd right the wrongs said about him in the press, and share the real stories. In this incredible episode, Tony shares inside stories about Frank, their time together, and what it was like to walk, live and drink alongside one of the greatest musicians to ever perform. Tony addresses Frank's career, his marriages, his fears, his dreams, and gives us his opinion on the answer to a highly controversial question: is Ronan Farrow Frank Sinatra's son? From the man who knew all Frank's secrets, you'll have to listen to believe it. Tony is a natural-born storyteller and his memory is extremely sharp, which is why he is the perfect guest for our theme today: Secrets in the Small Hours. So grab a drink, take a seat, and enjoy this trip down memory lane, into a beautiful and - until now - exclusive friendship. Buckle up! This week Alan and Joey are talking to acclaimed author, journalist and biographer Suzanne Finstad about one of our juiciest themes to date: HOLLYWOOD UNCOVERED. There are many famous murders, scandals and conspiracies that are sewn within the fabric of Hollywood as we know it today, and this week, we’re diving into a few that Suzanne knows everything about. Remember Howard Hughes? Well, he died “without an heir” and at the tender age of 20, Suzanne’s first job at a law firm was to find those related to him to get an idea of who would inherit all his money. What Suzanne found was layer upon layer of cover-ups, illegal activity, and lies that, if exposed, would put major players in jail all the way up to the White House. Days before she was to testify in court, she was beaten in her home and left for dead. Now, she’s telling the story that WASN’T included in her book, HEIR NOT APPARENT. We then jump to the infamous relationship between Elvis and a then 14-year-old Priscilla Presley, all detailed in her book CHILD BRIDE. Why the taboo title? You’ll have to listen to find out. Suzanne’s latest book, THE COMPLETE BIOGRAPHY OF NATALIE WOOD, includes detailed, well researched - and quite honestly shocking - new pages that reveal the truth about what happened that night on the boat with Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken. Was her death really an accident? Or one of the biggest cover-ups Hollywood has ever participated in? As always, we have a guest-inspired cocktail of the week! This week enjoy the LEMON BURST. Janice Dickinson, the first Supermodel, is joining the conversation this week! You’ll learn a lot about this incredible woman who has worked harder in this industry than most, and if there’s one word Joey & Alan would use to describe her? Join Alan and Joey as they discuss their weeks, the vaccine, DiGiorno pizza and everything in between. Joining their conversation this week is a highly decorated and retired DEA Agent - Hector Berrellez. You may not know him by name, but we’re sure you’ve heard of the hit Netflix series NARCOS:MEXICO! The series follows DEA Agent Kiki Camarena as he goes undercover and eventually wipes out one of the largest marijuana plantations in history...or so we have been led to believe. Hector Berrellez knows more than anyone about Kiki’s kidnapping, torture and murder...and he’s sharing his side of the story. In this episode, he reveals all the ways in which Netflix got it wrong, despite his consultation meetings with the studio, and how both Mexico and the US have been perpetuating a lie for decades. His story was featured in the hit Amazon docu-series THE LAST NARC, and his new memoir THE LAST NARC: A MEMOIR BY THE DEA’S MOST NOTORIOUS AGENT is a riveting tale of his life and how he took over “Operation Leyenda” - the mission to solve the murder of Kiki Camarena, and bring his killers to justice. Hector is a fascinating man who has seen more than the average person could ever imagine - and he’s here to tell us about it. As always, we have a cocktail of the week!
