Cloud Connections 2025 Podcast Interview with Peter Eisengrein, SVP of Service, Delivery & Operations at XTIUM ST. PETERSBURG, FL - A new managed services powerhouse has emerged. Speaking with Technology Reseller News at Cloud Connections 2025, Peter Eisengrein, Senior Vice President of Service, Delivery & Operations, introduced XTIUM—a new brand created from the merger of Evolve IP's MSP business with ATSG. “XTIUM is a fresh brand built from two strong companies,” said Eisengrein. “We've taken everything Evolve IP was known for—managed cloud, UCaaS, CCaaS, DaaS—and added a full suite of managed network, managed security, and managed operations services.” The merger, announced just weeks earlier at Channel Partners, significantly expands the portfolio available to XTIUM's channel partners. His message? M&A success takes time, careful planning, and clean financials. “You can't rush it. Lenders move at their own pace, and you need to be prepared—especially when it comes to audited books and integration plans.” For partners, the opportunity lies in XTIUM's ability to meet customers where they are. “Most buyers are only in market for one service at a time,” said Eisengrein. “The key for channel partners is being able to pivot. If it's not UC today, maybe it's security, or help desk, or compute. Eric Kulisch - Air Cargo Editor - FreightWaves - Vancouver, WA Several news developments that all involve DHL Express to some degree:  1) Scoop - FW has learned that a DHL airline in Europe (technically Austria) has applied for permission to operate to the U.S. with a new set of freighters it's acquiring - it's interesting on several levels, including that this DHL unit is supposed to just operate in Europe  2) Air Transport Services Group reported 1Q earnings last week. They lowered their guidance but the news is that investors are trading off the stock, which has dropped in value, because they feel the company is allocating too much for cap ex to buy planes for the leasing side the business, which also has the better upside than the airline side. (The DHL angle is that ATSG leases a lot of planes to DHL and also flies aircraft for DHL)   3) Atlas Air announced a leadership succession, with CCO moving up to CEO. Atlas too is a DHL contractor and JV partner in Polar Air . . .   4) Japan Airlines is standing up a freighter division again, beefing up its cargo service.

1) Talk about decline in flight hours among all-cargo airlines - ATSG, Atlas Air, etc. - and what that tells us about market; 2) More cargo conversion activity - Qantas, ATSG, etc. - and what that tells us about market, maybe too much supply? 3) Cargo airline investments in more aircraft putting pressure on cash flow - Air Canada, ATSG; 4) Earnings - ATSG, Atlas Air, Air Canada, (also Singapore and IAG Cargo) in past 1.5 weeks.

Is this just a sign of the times that volumes are down? Amazon and DHL have reduced cargo flights in the US - is this just a US problem or is it larger than that? How about other carriers - are they looking to pull back as well - such as Sun Country? How has this impacted Air Transport Services Group? How does this compare to ATSG's leasing business?

GXO Logistics (GXO) provides logistic services such as warehousing and distribution. George Tsilis discuss GXO as today's overlooked stocks. He notes that GXO has customers in multiple sectors including retail and e-commerce, food and beverage, and consumer packaged goods among others. He talks about how GXO jumped after providing positive guidance. It sees FY22 revenue of $9.0B versus an estimated $8.99B. He also compares GXO to ATSG, XPO, and CHRW. Follow The Fleet S/H For example, the e-tailer is already “its own air cargo customer” thanks to its ACMI contracts for Boeing aircraft with ATSG and Atlas which will give it a fleet of more than 50 freighters by next year. This leaves integrators such as UPS and FedEx in the position of both providing services to Amazon – one recent report claimed Amazon accounts for 6.5% of total UPS revenue and 4.7% of FedEx revenue - as well as competing with it for customers and their cargoes. What’s more, Amazon can easily upscale its air freight operations, either by buying out one of its air charter partners or by acquiring or partnering with an integrator. “Either move by Amazon would change the face of America’s air cargo industry and cause withdrawal or consolidation of the present U.S. cargo charter carriers, and maybe even one of the integrators,” argued Boesch. Eyal Levi is a well known metal producer and toured the globe with his band Daath. Eyal has a very special Creative Live project starting March 7th called "Recording Metal: A Bootcamp" with the band Monuments.
