Hershall, It was big doin's (lesser words meaning large performances) on Pod'N Me today.... Though I have interviewed our guest today, he has ne'er (little word meaning never) been in Studio 18 to record in person with us. His name is Rev. David Brimm and he is the guy that I called to get advice from when I was contemplating (big word for thinking about) the start of this trash heap of a podcast. I always wanted to have someone to blame I guess. We made much ado (little word that I can't explain fully) about his in person-arrival with trumpets and fan fare. He was absolutely underwhelmed with the feeling of grandeur (big word day, I guess). He contributed much today and even commandeered (are you serious, Dev, the big words!) a very most popular part of the program. We did have some information that we passed to our listeners such as: preacher's initials, mouse measurements, whale sounds and a few other very useful topics. Toward the home-stretch, we had a very important conversation about how media has affected our faith.... Enjoy! Have you ever felt stuck in your professional career? At some level, I think we all have. Sallie is an amazing example of someone who went to law school to be an attorney, had a very successful career as an employment lawyer, but felt called to do something completely different. In today's episode, we talk through listening to your inner voice, being okay with hearing no and gaining the confidence and having the right mindset to pivot in your career. Sallie Holder, Greenville, SC-native and Founder + CEO of The BRIMM - The Beyond Rock Middle Movement, is a passionate leader who thrives on helping like-minded entrepreneurs realize and ultimately achieve their true potential. Sallie's expertise does not solely lie in mentoring business owners; her unique background qualifies her as one of the most distinctively decorated business coaches in the southeast.Prior to founding The BRIMM, a premier business coaching community for femaleentrepreneurs, Sallie graduated from Vanderbilt University in Human & OrganizationalDevelopment, received a law degree with a specialty in labor and employment law, advised some of the biggest companies in the world during her 10-year law career, and served as the Chief Operating Officer for six different companies. It was in these various roles that Sallie found her true passion for business coaching and felt called to provide the secrets of how larger companies found success.Dynamic, engaging, and passionate are some of the many ways to describe Sallie as a leader. She has the uncanny ability to uncover the real things holding business owners back, even when they may not be aware of them themselves. She can pinpoint hurdles specific to each client and provide practical training and realistic steps to overcome them. Her unmatched holistic coaching style has fostered a resilient and engaged community of like-minded entrepreneurs that help empower each other.Throughout her career, Sallie has received various achievements and accolades. Gives women the education, confidence and guidance to make more money. “I had this firm belief that the world would be a better place if more women had more money in their pockets,” says Sallie Holder, Founder of The Brimm. To kick off Women's History month, she joins Lindsay to discuss her passion for female entrepreneurship. At The Brimm, Sallie offers one-on-one coaching to female entrepreneurs helping them reach their true potential—as well as seven figures—and discover what is holding them back. She does this not just by uncovering their financial goals, but also their lifestyle goals, which many women overlook. Sallie's book “Hitting Rock Middle” was cited by USA Today as one of the top rated books that will change your life and business. Top takeaways from today's episode:You can reinvent yourself at any time. Women have to invest in their own confidence and realize the value of what they bring to the table.Things will take longer than you expect. You have to be in it for the long haul.Pick a lane and stay there, you can always change it. You want to be vulnerable.Quotes“One thing women especially have to invest in is their own confidence. We've got to understand the value of what we bring to the table.” (21:06-21:10 | Sallie) “Starting my business took a lot longer than people are willing to give it today. They want to reach out to 10 people, have instantaneous success, and determine right away whether they can or cannot pursue this. And that's not how it goes. At all. (24:04-24:19 | Sallie)“I do this one thing. I do it really, really well. And that is one of the things that contributed to the quick growth of one-on-one coaching at the beginning. Ultimately, I realized, ‘Ah, Okay. It is niching down. It's being very specific.'” (27:12-27:28 | Sallie)Connect with Sallie Holder:Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/the_brimm/Visit http://www.growwiththebrimm.com to learn more about how Sallie can help you grow and scale your business. Please don't forget to rate, comment, and subscribe to Dear FoundHer on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts! You can now work with Lindsay 1:1 to build and monetize your community through the same method she used to grow and scale her business. Another special guest, and first time guest is with us for today & next week as well from the Russellville, Arkansas area. We dive into 1 Corinthians 11 and talk about the biblical chain of Command and Paul's discourse on how God desires us to have our hair. These are controversial topics in this world today and most demoniations don't follow these scriptures but it shouldn't be that way. While you may be familiar with Plann as primarily an "instagram scheduler," she explains how the problem she aims to solve is actually much deeper than that. Originally seeing a need for an organized, visual first approach to social media, she launched Plann as a way to share the success she had found on a mass scale. By staying connected to what customers need, the challenges they face, and focusing first on how to provide them solutions to their challenges she continues to grow Plann into a leading productivity platform. Hershall, today we had a man on Pod'N Me to talk about actual church bus ministry. Now, I know that on a few occasions we have called this podcast a church bus but in reality, it never has been. Pastor Brimm is a friend of mine that I have talked to from time to time (I even referred to him as a best friend on past episodes) and I have profound respect for his passion in the ministry. We have talked about many different aspects of the ministry on here and today we got to hear some stories and advice on having a bus ministry in the local church. We also hear a song that was written by his wife, Sis. Ruth, and was inspired by bus ministry in a church that he pastored. Pastor Brimm tells us how their buses operate to get the gospel out on a weekly basis. It was an honor to hear his from prospective. God Bless! If you would like to access more of their family's music you can find The Brimm's on most all streaming platforms. Enjoy!

In this episode, Kc talks with Sallie Holder.Sallie Holder, acclaimed bestselling author of “Hitting Rock Middle: The Roadmap From Empty Success To True Fulfillment” (Advantage 2020), podcast host, and founder of The BRIMM. She is a sought after coach, speaker, trainer, and guide to her clients breaking out of their silent scream in success and into true fulfillment. As a nationally-recognized public speaker and business coach, Sallie has spent more than fifteen years helping businesses, entrepreneurs, and employees identify what's getting in their way and then breaking down those barriers to success. In this episode, we discuss: What Is Rock Middle? Sallie coined the term, "Rock Middle" to describe how you feel when you're at a middle place in your career and don't feel fulfilled, but you still have what people see as external success. How can we have internal and external success? Learn how to move beyond those stuck feelings and empower yourself.Facts vs. Feelings: During this time it's important that people recognize the facts rather than making emotional decisions based on their feelings. Sometimes feelings lie to us! Sallie gives you actionable steps on creating a "T Chart" that will help any business owner wade through a complicated situation and lean back into the facts so they can get into action. The 80/20 Rule: 80% of your time should be spent on producing rather than consuming information. Only 20% of the time should be spent on consuming. Take time to produce and share your tangible assets: content, videos, programs, etc. That will help you generate revenue during times of uncertainty or need. The Value of Time: Sallie's biggest tip? Start with the end in mind. Define what your destination is so you can work towards that goal. Then, create a to-do list. It's important for you to understand where you need to spend your time. The time you have is valuable. Spend it on things that accelerate your business. Everything else needs to be either eliminated or delegated.Internal Success: How does Sallie define success, when does she find that feeling, and what leads her to it? Learn how to listen to your authentic voice and why it's important.
