We're joined by Coach Matt Doherty from Doherty Coaching to talk about President Trump's battle with Harvard regarding their support, or at least indifference, to groups of pro-Hamas protestors shaming Jewish students and even going so far as to assault them in some cases. It is also important to note that Harvard brings in Chinese students in large numbers, some of whom likely have ulterior motives. China isn't a free country like America; students from China can only come to America for college if they receive the go-ahead from the CCP. The pair then turns to "Fake" Jake Tapper's sudden enlightenment to former President Joe Biden's sharp mental decline. Surprisingly, the majority of the country was aware of the former president's decline, but the highly informed "reporter" was oblivious. Tune in here to this Wednesday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show! We're joined by The Coach Matt Doherty to talk about leadership and whether America can truly be made great again. Drawing from his coaching experience, Coach Doherty uses sports analogies to frame political division as dysfunction within a team—arguing that when parts of a team pull in different directions, it’s hard to reach full potential. He suggests the left’s relentless opposition to Donald Trump has created a hostile environment, preventing national unity. The conversation compares political strategy to basketball, highlighting how being on offense—like Trump’s assertive immigration policies—offers more control than defense. However, “referees” in the form of judges can interfere, blocking progress through rulings and legal obstacles. Coach Doherty emphasizes the importance of surrounding a leader with truth-tellers and capable advisors, and ultimately gives Trump high marks for his effort and focus. Doherty shares insights into how Donald Trump assembled his team, emphasizing the importance of giving clear missions, empowering decision-makers, and conducting post-action debriefs—principles rooted in both sports and military practice. He contrasts strong leadership with weak organizational structures, noting how Trump's transparent cabinet meetings stood in stark contrast to Biden's delayed and less visible approach.
