The Accountability Guy Nobody can hold anybody accountable. You can only hold yourself accountable - IF you want to. True accountability is power, freedom, and joy. That is why we wrote the book on accountability. My purpose is to help people remove the things that keep them from being their best. I do this for a living and why I wrote the book "Nobody Cares... Until You Do." I help leaders reach their goals and will share the principles and experiences I have learned from over 20 years as a business owner and Executive Coach leading monthly peer groups for CEOs and business owners here in Texas. Lastly, I am a husband, Dad, and follower of Jesus Christ. I am living the life I want and having fun along the way. I will make the show fun. I've been looking forward to this podcast episode for months! As I think ahead into my 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond, I want to have a healthy and vibrant sex life. I want my body, specifically my penis, to serve both of us in creating pleasurable and intimately connecting experiences for many years to come. Lots of men, and I'm in this category too, really like their penis and get concerned when it doesn't function as they expect. Good strong erections are indications for a man's health and vitality, as well as a means to pleasure too. Many men and their lovers have questions about erectile dysfunction, lasting longer in bed, testosterone, and much more relating to men's sexual health. So how do we take better care of our sexual health, and when we get sick, how can we get better? My guest today is Joshua Savage, a friend of mine who also is a urologist. Thanks in advance to many of you that shared your questions about male sexual health via our Instagram account. If you don't follow me yet, I recommend you do so now! There's lots of great content and some funny reels there too. After listening to this podcast, you might have questions about your own sexual functioning from a psychological point of view. If you're interested in getting coaching to help you through mental struggles interfering from all the pleasure you could be enjoying in your sexual relationship, contact me about marriage coaching. It's like getting a personal trainer for your marriage, and you're just one coaching session away from a more meaningful, pleasurable, and intimate sex life. Which leads me to my next point: getting away for a weekend once in a while can really nourish your marriage. Especially if it's a marriage retreat where you can learn about how to have a more intimate and fulfilling sex life, develop closer friendships, meet other couples on a similar journey, learn new skills to deal with conflict, and most importantly to have fun together! Our next retreat is four days and three nights, October 26 - 29, in the Dallas Fort Worth Texas area. Register now so that you don't miss it! If you're on the fence, go to the web page anyway

My wife and I both grew up in good homes, but stereotypical to most that grow up in a conservative Christian culture in the 80s and 90s, conversations around sex were usually limited to biological reproduction or staying pure from sexual thoughts. These messages served me well before we were married but after we were married, we realized that these models led to anxiety about sexuality and difficulty with our sexual relationship. These issues didn't really surface until after a decade into our marriage, when we weren't so entrenched in survival mode from raising a young family any longer and could actually take a breath and focus on our relationship again. I'm grateful for the many resources that helped me grow my understanding of marriage and sex in marriage. Specifically, where at first I thought spirituality and sexuality were incompatible, the examples of teachers like my guests on today's podcast helped me see that spirituality and sexuality actually go together. Fast forward a few years I'm grateful for the privilege of coaching other couples in growing their marriage intimately. It's now what I do for work full time, and I hope this podcast, our apps, retreats, workshops, and other resources are helping you build a stronger marriage. One of the common issues I see with my clients as a marriage coach is how “duty sex” or viewing sex as something just for the man for example often limits a couple's ability to grow sexually. Another has to do with one's interpretation of biblical teachings around sex growing up, and how those views are often antithetical to building an intimate marriage. Another has to do with sexual performance pressure. And sexual dysfunction. We get to talk about all of these things and much more in this episode with Dr. Clifford and Joyce Penner. As my guests will attest, getting away for a weekend once in a while can really nourish your marriage. Especially if it's a marriage retreat where you can learn about how to have a more intimate and fulfilling sex life, develop closer friendships, meet other couples on a similar journey, learn new skills to deal with conflict, and most importantly to have fun together! So what will happen to the Dallas Housing Market if we do go into a recession? And on the other hand, what will happen to the real estate market if we don't. Now those are some great questions that I will answer in this podcast. On this week's episode, Bruce and Wayne had special guest Ashley Goralski. She started her career pursuing nursing but over time she began to lean more toward real estate and is now part of a team of residential realtors. Before she started her own group she was previously working for a real estate company and was one of their top workers. Ashely represents both buyers and sellers when it comes to purchasing and selling homes. Asley takes meetings with potential clients to try and make sure that they are a good fit and that they can be effective together. Later in the program, Bruce asked her about certain aspects of the Zillow website. She also goes over the process she has with clients when it comes to meeting their needs and finding the house that they are looking for. They also talk about the current housing market and how high-interest rates have impacted those wanting to purchase a home There is hope that the rates will drop. Additionally, Ashley also has a long history of training people and investing in people's lives to help prepare them to do their best in their chosen line of work. For those who are thinking about potentially entering the housing market, Ashley would be an excellent realtor to have in your corner. Ashley can be reached at (817) 456-2620 and her website Homes for Sale in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas: https://www.sellingdfw.realestate/ashley

Ep. #32 – Chef Rory Vigne (pronounced Veene) cooked meals that resulted in him losing 168lbs! Rory started his fat loss journey in March 2018. His starting weight was 366lbs and he’s now down to 198lbs. He’s offering the same healthy meals through his meal prep business, called Chef’s Fit Meal Prep. His services are available in the Dallas-Fort Worth Texas area but I’m hoping he expands his business and makes them available nation-wide! In this episode we talk about what he did to lose the weight. I ask him what he ate, if he exercised and I inquired about everything he did to accomplish this outstanding goal. He gladly shares his success story, gives a few tips, and even shares a recipe. He also plans to start a nonprofit that will introduce kids to the culinary arts. On a side note, Rory appeared as an extra in the movie “Texas Kill City” that will be airing on Netflix next year, so stay tuned for that. So if I can impress upon you one thing it's to take action, even if it's a small step. Get a small win and take action towards something... What I would like to encourage physicians to do is to think about creating an impact on a greater scale Dr. David Draghinas is a full time practicing anesthesiologist in private practice with Metropolitan Anesthesia Consultants in the Dallas-Fort Worth (Texas) metropolitan area. Prior to his current position, he was a Navy physician and enjoyed taking care of military families. [vcex_spacing size="10px"] Over the last few years, Dr. Draghinas has found a way to leverage digital communication platforms to educate patients and his colleagues, as well as learn from them. Several years ago Dr. Draghinas noticed some of his patients were showing up on the day of surgery and were extremely anxious about anesthesia. Often times they were Googling anesthesia topics and getting poor information. In response to this Dr. Draghinas and his colleagues created a website to help correct anesthesia myths and give their patients accurate information. It is geared towards laypeople and it helps people to understand anesthesia-related topics in simple language. In further developing the website, Dr. Draghinas recruited another physician partner and the site will soon have videos featuring experts discussing various anesthesia topics. [vcex_spacing size="10px"] Dr. Draghinas also had the idea of creating a podcast for several years, but never got the time to start it. He finally launched his podcast Doctors Unbound. He wanted to spotlight different physicians who were successful in fields other than medicine in order to help fellow physicians achieve what Dr. Draghinas termed “next level success”. Dr. Draghinas believes the best way to achieve next level success is to learn from physician peers who are experts in different fields. Examples of these fields include, but are not limited to: blogging, investing, and health care policy. [vcex_spacing size="10px"] As Dr. Draghinas explains, Doctors Unbound was started with the following goals of: [vcex_spacing size="10px"] “1. Promoting a positive image for the physician community 2. Learning from physician experts to hack the learning curve for myself & other doctors with similar interests 3. Networking with innovative physicians 4. Have a creative outlet for interests (podcasting) outside clinical medicine 5. Leave a legacy (podcast audio) for my small children (just in case). I am blessed to be healthy, but tomorrow isn't promised to any of us.” [vcex_spacing size="10px"] Dr. Draghinas is clearly making an impact on his field of anesthesiology using modern day communication technology platforms. He is now connecting with a greater network of amazing colleagues, patients, and community on a personal and digital level [vcex_spacing size="10px"] Please listen to our podcast episode and check out: [vcex_spacing size="10px"] Websites: Anesthesia Myths Website Doctors Unbound Learn Why YOU should start podcasting: www.doctorsunbound.com/whypodcast Podcast: Doctors Unbound Episode 1 Quick Notes from the conversation: Why medicine: Dr. David was inspired by a physician mentor he had while conducting research in a lab.
