If this military campaign is ended prematurely, and the second phase of ensuring the institution of a civil government is not accomplished, chances are this entire effort will be for naught.  The economic, geo-political, and national security gains, which have been immense, and the stated goal of liberating the Iranian people, which initiated this process, could become a disaster in every respect -- including political. After we destroyed the Japanese regime in WWII, the U.S. wrote their constitution and installed a government that would be aligned with us.  We must give very focused thought to what comes after the Iranian regime's navy, air force, missiles, and top leadership are destroyed.  It still has a standing army, secret police, and an entire Islamist-supporting infrastructure.  There are many approaches to dealing with this short of a democracy project or sending hundreds of thousands of soldiers.  But to be clear, if a void is created and left there, and we do not fill it (perhaps with our allies) or significantly influence how it is tilled, it most definitely will be filled by the forces in Iran that remain from the old regime with the support of their allies, including China and Russia. Also, polls show that 91% approve of President Trump's handling of the Iran situation among MAGA supporters and 83% among Republicans. Since Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Steve Bannon, and Candace Owens opposed this military campaign, their audience must largely consist of leftists, anti-Semites, foreigners, Islamists, Marxists, and Democrats. Later, Democrats fiercely oppose voter ID requirements, particularly photo IDs, despite broad public support across all races.  Photo IDs are routinely required for everyday activities, yet Democrats claim they are too difficult to obtain, especially for Black people and married women, which is inherently racist and condescending. Without photo ID verification, there is no reliable way to confirm a voter's identity, prevent double voting, or stop impersonation, particularly in the 11 states (mostly Democratic) that do not require any ID.  Finally, Dr James Lindsay calls in and argues that efforts to drive a wedge between Jews and Christians, and to redefine Americanism, stem from multiple interconnected motives. Primarily, opponents of President Trump are now attempting to weaken him and his agenda from within by fracturing his coalition. This includes pushing the Republican Party toward a more radical, identity-based politics inspired by failed European conservatism, moving away from the traditional American ideal of equal citizenship regardless of background. Influencers driving these narratives are motivated by a mix of genuine ideological commitment to paleoconservative or Buchanan-style views, financial incentives like chasing clicks, payments, bot amplification, and foreign boosting, all converging to reorganize the Republican Party and sever U.S.-Israel ties to diminish America's global defensive posture. Pure Telecom, the Irish-owned telecoms provider, has announced new results from its annual Connected Lives survey, which reveals that nearly one-in-four social media users (24%) have quit a social media platform because they disapprove of its owner, while 29% are considering doing so. The nationally representative survey of 1,001 adults in Ireland was conducted by Censuswide on behalf of Pure Telecom. The research suggests that ongoing debates around platform ownership may be negatively influencing user sentiment, with 67% expressing concern over who owns the platforms they use, versus 33% who said it doesn't bother them. Social media users aged 18 to 24 are the most likely to turn their back on platforms due to ownership concerns, with 28% having already done so and 37% considering it. The research found that the majority of social media users (62%) are concerned about the personal information that platforms have stored about them, as they worry how the platform owner might use it. As such, 50% of users have updated their privacy settings in the past 12 months. Concerns surrounding platform ownership have led many to consider an alternative social media network and 64% of social media users expressed an interest in signing up to an 'ethical' platform. However, many social media users find this prospect too idealistic, with 54% believing no such platform could ever exist. Pure Telecom's research also explored what people are posting on social media - and how much doctoring is happening beforehand. Excluding filters, over a third (37%) of social media users admit to editing their photos. Interestingly, this was 10% more prevalent in men (43%) than women (34%). Of those who edit their photos, the top edited features are skin tone (23%), lines and wrinkles (17%) and facial features (15%). In addition to this, 24% of social media users admit to travelling somewhere primarily to get photos for social media, and the number of photos stored in people's smartphone libraries averages at more than 7,500. Paul Connell, CEO, Pure Telecom said: "Social media ownership has become a divisive topic and it's interesting to see how the public personas of some owners are impacting the popularity of the social networks they lead. As concerns grow around data security and how ownership impacts personal privacy, our research indicates that users are losing faith in some platforms. "Despite this ongoing concern, our research found that 98% of adults are social media users, showing that people continue to seek online connections. They shared with my siblings as much information about their birth parents as they had and supported my sister even to seek out a connection with her birth mother. (AURN News) — President Joe Biden's pardon of his son, Hunter Biden, faces strong disapproval across party lines, according to two major polls released recently as his presidency draws to a close. A new AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll finds that 51% of Americans somewhat or strongly disapproved of Hunter Biden's pardon. The disapproval spans the political spectrum, with 27% of Democrats, 51% of Independents, and 80% of Republicans opposing the decision. A separate Monmouth University poll showed even stronger opposition, with 58% of Americans disapproving of the pardon. The survey revealed similar partisan divisions, with 24% of Democrats, 64% of independents, and 81% of Republicans expressing disapproval. The Monmouth poll also indicates broader challenges for the outgoing president, showing only 34% of Americans approve of his overall job performance, while 61% disapprove. Meanwhile, President-elect Donald Trump's favorability has reached a historical high, with a Real Clear Politics average of polls showing 49.4% approval as he prepares to return to office. Some love them. Some hate them. Those that feel the love appreciate the history, tone, feel, and inspiration these guitars embody. Those that feel the hate. Disapprove of the hype and blinded devotion to a flawed guitar design  that reeks of terrible tuning stability, inferior quality control, headstock breakage, high price, and heavy weight. Of course these are a few examples of the extremes based on the guitars. Add in the sketchy corporate decisions that has led the company to bankruptcy more than once the acquisition of “non-guitar related businesses”, the lawsuits brought down on other popular brands, the campaign to “Play Authentic” and license the use of the guitars or else, and… ugh… the destruction of hundreds of firebird X guitars by an excavator… ya… they said they were “unfixable”... sure… But why do people love Gibson guitars? Does it count if it's an Epiphone? Is Custom Shop really that much better? How are the acoustics? Is the weight really a problem? What's a pancake body? Does more price really get you more guitar? How many do Jason and I own? Were the robot tuners really that bad? What is neck dive? Should a Gibson cost more than a Fender? And… Ted McCarty… the man that is still saving the company today.
