Since the organization of the Church, leaders have called for world-wide religious liberty and harmony: “We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may” (Articles of Faith 1:11). In this episode, Dr. Joshua M. Sears, associate professor of ancient scripture, details how we might answer the prophetic call to not only love and respect people of different faiths but to also learn from them. He discusses the importance of adapting trustworthy interfaith resources into our spiritual lives. Additionally, he details how to locate and evaluate reliable resources, and describes one ecumenical resource, BibleProject, as an example. It is the witness of the Holy Spirit that He is the divine Son of God, the Messiah and Redeemer. It is John's testimony that Jesus was in the beginning with God, that He is the Creator of heaven and earth, and that ‘in him was the gospel, and the gospel was the life, and the life was the light of men.' It is ‘the testimony of the Apostles and Prophets, … that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven.' It is the knowledge that “there is no other name given whereby salvation cometh.” It is the ‘testimony, last of all,' given by the Prophet Joseph Smith, ‘that he lives! … That he is the Only Begotten of the Father—that by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.'” What is your testimony of Jesus? Elder D. Todd Christofferson, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, announced Elder Alvin F. Meredith III will become the 18th president of BYU-Idaho. He made the announcement during a BYU-Idaho devotional. Elder Christofferson's remarks are titled "Be strong and of a good courage." Speakers during this devotional also include President Henry J. Eyring, Kelly Eyring, Jennifer Meredith, and Elder Meredith.

Romney's focus on the spiritual principle of self-reliance in all things, including emotional and spiritual self-reliance. Elder Christofferson guides us through the noise of adversity to the signal of our relationship with Christ and teaches us not to be victims. Using the examples of Job, Abraham, Joseph of Egypt, and Joseph Smith as they use their adversity to strengthen their relationship with the Lord. He quotes the Lord, "Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?” When certain adversity strikes we have the option of growing in faith or becoming bitter trying to justify our position.
