Read OnlineLifting the Sacred VeilThe disciples approached Jesus and said, “Why do you speak to the crowd in parables?” He said to them in reply, “Because knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven has been granted to you, but to them it has not been granted. To anyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; from anyone who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand.” Matthew 13:10–13Have you ever looked but failed to truly see? Or heard something without really listening or understanding? Jesus' words teach us that seeing is more than the use of our eyes, and listening is more than the mere act of hearing. The mysteries of the Kingdom are not grasped through sensory perception; they require a deeper interior awareness. Seeing, listening, and understanding demand a receptive heart—a heart attuned to grace. When the heart is attuned to grace, the mind becomes capable of perceiving life from God's perspective. This is the gift of Wisdom. Wisdom is the pinnacle of the intellectual gifts, perfecting knowledge, understanding, and counsel by ordering them toward divine truth. Thus, a person who truly sees and listens perceives, not just information, but God's Eternal Truth. The veil is lifted, and the mysteries of faith come into focus. This interior illumination produces peace, amazement, and a profound sense of gratitude.Parables are like sacred veils, at once concealing and revealing divine mysteries. For those who are humble, docile to the Holy Spirit, and eager for truth, parables become radiant windows into the heart of God. They are like floodgates, pouring divine light into the soul and drawing it to the very threshold of eternal mysteries. Does the floodgate of divine light pour truth into your mind and grace into your will? For the proud or indifferent, however, the veil remains drawn—but not without purpose. Jesus does not arbitrarily withhold the divine mysteries from those whose hearts are hardened. Rather, the parable, in veiling the truth, invites the soul to seek more deeply. It stirs a holy curiosity and awakens spiritual desire. It is as if Jesus presents a sacred gift, wrapped in a beautiful veil. He sets it down, says, “This is for you, but don't peek,” and then smiles and walks away. The hiddenness of the truth is not a rejection; it is an invitation.Even before this moment, Jesus had already begun to lift the veil. In the Parable of the Sower, just preceding today's Gospel, He cast seed upon the hearts of His listeners. Some received it attentively, understood it, and were filled with interior consolation as divine light shone within them. Others might have enjoyed the story and found it interesting, but failed to grasp its deeper meaning. Of these, Jesus quotes the prophet Isaiah, saying, in part: “Gross is the heart of this people, they will hardly hear with their ears, they have closed their eyes…” (Matthew 13:15).“Gross is the heart of this people…”—what a powerful statement. The Greek word translated here as “gross” is not condescending but descriptive. More literally, it means that the heart of the people “has become dull,” “has thickened,” or “has grown insensitive.” Jesus is not condemning; He is lamenting. And even in His lament, He does not give up hope. He continues to teach. He offers the Parable of the Sower, and then, after today's Gospel, teaches several more parables. Why? Because He is determined to sow the seed of His Word into every heart—no matter how hard the soil may be.Reflect today on the disposition of your own heart. Are you truly open to the deeper truths of God? Do you seek to understand, or are you content merely to hear? Ask the Lord to lift the sacred veil from your eyes and ears so that you may behold the mysteries of His Kingdom with clarity and awe. Let His Word penetrate your soul like seed falling on rich soil. And if you discover areas of dullness or resistance within, do not be discouraged. Christ continues to sow generously. All He asks is that you receive His Word with humility and allow it to take root.Lord of Eternal Truth, You desire to lift the veil and reveal to me the profound and glorious Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven. Please give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart open to understanding. Flood me with the light of Your Truth and strengthen me to respond to that Truth with all my being. Friday of the Fifteenth Week in Ordinary Time - Loving Beyond Legalism

Read OnlineLoving Beyond LegalismJesus was going through a field of grain on the sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “See, your disciples are doing what is unlawful to do on the sabbath.” He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he and his companions were hungry…?” Matthew 12:1–3At the heart of the Old Testament Law were the Ten Commandments. But the Law also included numerous statutes, ordinances, and ritual prescriptions. This Old Covenant was good because it reflected God's Eternal Law yet it lacked the full clarity and interior transformation that would come only in Christ. It is similar to looking through a pair of binoculars that are out of focus—you may perceive the general form, but the finer details are obscured.Jesus did not abolish the Old Covenant. He fulfilled it by revealing its true meaning and restoring its original purpose. In Him, the Law is clarified, elevated, and perfected. Today's Gospel offers us a glimpse of that divine clarity, as our Lord unveils the deeper meaning of the Sabbath and the spirit that animates the Law—a spirit not rooted in rigid formalism, but in mercy, love, and communion with God.The Pharisees who accused Jesus' disciples of violating the Sabbath by picking heads of grain misunderstood the very Law they claimed to uphold. Throughout the Gospels, we see how many religious leaders corrupted God's commandments by reducing them to external legalism—cut off from the life of charity that the Law was meant to foster.Perhaps you have struggled with this same tendency in your own spiritual journey, mentally checking off boxes—Mass on Sunday, Confession once a month, morning and evening prayers. Though these are good, our hearts can still remain distant from God. Like the Pharisees, we too can fall into treating God's beautiful invitation to relationship as a mere transaction. To emphasize the true spirit of the Law, Jesus quotes the prophet Hosea: “I desire mercy, not sacrifice” (Matthew 12:7; cf. Hosea 6:6). Though sacrifice was good, when external observances become divorced from love, justice, and the desire for union with God, they become lifeless—and even offensive—in God's eyes.In Christ, we've received the complete revelation of truth—the New Law of grace, mercy, and redemption. Through Him, we're invited to go beyond external observance and enter into the interior transformation the Law was always meant to inspire. This transformation touches every aspect of our daily lives: When we refrain from gossip, it's not merely to follow a rule, but a recognition of Christ's presence in others. When we make time for prayer, it's not to satisfy an obligation, but to nurture the relationship at the center of our existence. When we choose to forgive, it's not because forgiveness is commanded, but because we've experienced God's mercy and long to extend it to others. This principle extends to every one of Christ's teachings and precepts faithfully handed down by the Church. We are called to obey not for the sake of obedience alone, but to receive the Divine Mercy that flows from Christ's Word and to become instruments of that mercy for others.Reflect today on all that God has revealed through the Scriptures and the Church. His teachings are not burdensome rules, but luminous pathways to communion with God. The ultimate purpose of every command God gives is our sanctification and fruitfulness, which culminate in God's glory. Keep that end in mind, so that all you do may be in harmony with the true purpose of God's Eternal Law—and never reduced to empty obedience.Father, God and Eternal Truth, all that You revealed through Moses and the prophets was but a reflection of Your Eternal Law. In Jesus, our Lord, You have unveiled the fullness of truth—everything we need to know in order to share in Your Kingdom. Grant me the grace to see every teaching and every law You place before me not as a burden, but as a radiant and glorious pathway to communion with You. Jesus, I trust in You.  Image: Christ defends the plucking of the ears of grain on the Sabbath, by Marten van ValckenborchSource: Free RSS feed from catholic-daily-reflections.com — Copyright © 2026 My Catholic Life! ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ॥ ਸਹਜਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥ Here is a comprehensive and scannable English summary of the provided Shabad (Dhanaasaree Mahala 1) by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, capturing its core theological teachings.Core Theme: The Path to Spiritual Poise (Sahaj)The central message of this Shabad is that true liberation and union with the Divine cannot be achieved through external rituals, intellectual pride, or forced obstinacy. Instead, it is attained by surrendering to the True Guru (Satguru), practicing loving devotion (Prem Bhgati), and accepting the Divine Will (Hukam).Key Spiritual Teachings1. True Spiritual Union (Sahaj)Immortality & Freedom: The soul that merges into God through intuitive poise (Sahaj) breaks free from the painful cycle of birth, death, and reincarnation.Oneness: The division between the Divine and the servant disappears. The servant beholds God everywhere and in everyone.2. The Role of the True GuruThe Bridge to God: Without the Guru's guidance, a person remains spiritually dead and trapped in reincarnation. The Ultimate Teacher: The Guru implants the Eternal Truth into the heart, inspires the praise of the Unutterable Lord, and connects the seeker to the Divine Word (Shabad).3. The Futility of Ritualism and IntellectualismHypocrisy vs. Purity: God cannot be pleased through stubborn practices, external religious garbs, or worshiping stone idols.Empty Knowledge: Endlessly reading texts or relying on worldly cleverness only feeds the ego, leading to further spiritual suffering.Inner Cleanliness: Wandering to sacred shrines or living in forests is useless if the mind remains polluted with desire and ego. True honor is found only in the Eternal Lord.4. Loving Devotion and Devine FearInternalized Mind: Under the Guru's guidance, the mind stops wandering after worldly attachments and becomes stable within. The Nourishment of Fear: The true servant internalizes the "fear" (reverence and awe) of God as their spiritual nourishment, safely absorbing themselves in Divine Love. Conclusion & PrayerThe Shabad concludes with a humble prayer to the Almighty. The seeker acknowledges that there is no power other than God and surrenders completely to the Divine Will (Raza). The ultimate yearning is for the Guru's grace to continuously sing the praises of the Lord in a state of eternal peace and love.

Here is a comprehensive and structured English summary of this beautiful Shabad composed by Guru Arjan Dev Ji in Raag Jaitsari.Overall ThemeThis Shabad is a profound prayer of humility, surrender, and ultimate liberation. Guru Ji describes the countless shortcomings of human beings, the inescapable trap of worldly illusion (Maya), and emphasizes that true peace and salvation can only be achieved by surrendering to the omnipresent, merciful Divine through the chanting of His Name (Naam).Section 1: Humility and Divine ProtectionThe Salok: The Divine is described as the highest, unfathomable, limitless, and beyond description. Only God has the ultimate power to protect those who seek His refuge. The Chhant: Guru Ji prays with deep humility, asking God to save him "by any means possible." He confesses that humans commit countless sins daily and remain helplessly intoxicated by the terrifying illusions of Maya. Even when we try to commit sins in secret, God is always watching, being "nearer than near." The section ends with a plea to be pulled out of the terrifying, cyclical ocean of worldly existence.Section 2: Total Surrender and Single-Minded DevotionThe Salok: God’s virtues are unquantifiable, and His Name is supreme. Guru Ji prays that even the shelterless (those with no status or virtue) may find a home at the Divine’s feet. The Chhant: There is no alternative shelter in the universe except God. Guru Ji advises us to pray with folded hands day and night. By abandoning pride, emotional attachment, and dualism, and by surrendering our mind and body completely to the Creator, we can obtain our heart's deepest desires and merge into the Eternal Truth.Section 3: Accumulating the True WealthThe Salok: The mind is urged to meditate on the Divine, who holds the strings of all life and destiny. The true wealth to accumulate is Ram Naam (the Divine Name), as it is the only asset that accompanies the soul after death. The Chhant: God is our only true, eternal companion; He is omnipresent, filling the water, land, and skies. He is the ultimate Giver. Since His virtues are infinite and cannot be counted, one must remain in His sanctuary, for He is the source of all peace.Section 4: Ultimate Liberation and Merging with LightThe Salok: By meditating on the Divine Name, all desires of the heart are fulfilled, and total, unshakeable peace is obtained. The Chhant: In the final stanza, the soul celebrates liberation. By joining the holy congregation (Sadhu Sangat) and focusing on the Name through the Guru’s guidance, the individual soul merges with the Divine Light. All past sins are washed away, the burning desires of the mind are quenched, and the cycle of birth and death is burnt away. God, in His ultimate mercy, takes the devotee by the arm, embraces them, and makes them His own in a single moment.Key Takeaway: No matter how many mistakes a person makes, sincere surrender, letting go of ego, and meditating on the Divine Name under the guidance of the Guru can bridge the gap between humans and the Creator, leading to instant liberation.

Read OnlineThe Words We SpeakA demoniac who could not speak was brought to Jesus, and when the demon was driven out the mute man spoke. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.” Matthew 9:32–33Imagine being unable to speak. You could not tell your loved ones about your day, share your hopes, joys, or sorrows. The result would be deep isolation and loneliness, the plague afflicting this demoniac.Metaphorically speaking, this demoniac symbolizes us when we do not have the words to properly express ourselves to another or to God. Our “muteness” is often the result of confused thinking by which we fail to understand ourselves in the light of God's Eternal Truth. Spiritual muteness is akin to speaking empty words that have no root in divine wisdom. We may speak much, but if our hearts are not attuned to God, our words become noise rather than prayer, reaction rather than revelation, or ramblings rather than the sincere sharing of our hearts. What does it mean to truly communicate with another? It's not the multiplication of words, speaking over another, winning an argument, or showcasing yourself and your ideas for others to see. True communication begins with the truth—God's Truth—alive within our souls. When that happens, when our minds are elevated by the gift of faith and our hearts are perfected by divine wisdom, our words become meaningful. When we speak, whether we say much or little, we do more than express words or ideas—we express ourselves, our union with God, our love for others, and the charity God places within us.Ultimately, words are meant to serve the building up of God's Kingdom. Even mundane communications, such as “What would you like for dinner tonight?” can be spoken in a way that builds God's Kingdom. But just as words can be vessels of grace, they can also become instruments of harm. When they are spoken in self-centeredness, anger, or gossip, they tear down rather than build up, and inflict damage on God's Kingdom. In today's Gospel, we are invited to see the demoniac as a symbol of the times when we speak empty or even harmful words rather than God's Word. When we speak God's Word, even in casual speech, we express God's love as it radiates within our souls. A gentle encouragement, a consoling question about another's day, a sharing of a joyful encounter, or any other expression of God's love shining through our human heart is the communication we must strive for.By literally driving the demon out of the man, Jesus gave witness to His divine power and freed the man from his spiritual affliction. When the Word made flesh casts out the demon and the man speaks, it is more than a miracle of speech—it is a restoration of identity. Christ, the Eternal Word, restores human language to its sacred purpose: to give voice to truth, to unite persons in love, and above all, to glorify God.Continuing the metaphor, Jesus also wants to drive out the muteness within us—that is, our sin and every evil temptation to speak empty or damaging words instead of expressing divine truth with charity. Spiritual muteness becomes most deafening when our words echo the evil one's lies and temptations. When we allow Christ to purify our hearts and minds, He also loosens our tongues. He gives us the grace to pray with authenticity, to speak with clarity, and to witness with courage. This is the fruit of true deliverance—we are freed from evil and empowered for communion.Reflect today on the astonishment of the crowd who cried out, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!” When God frees us from the burden of empty or harmful speech, our natural response will be astonishment and praise. We are made to express love and truth and to share our lives with others within that love and truth. When this happens, we realize the muteness with which we previously struggled and delight in the freedom we attain.Eternal Word of the Father, speak into the silence of my heart. Drive out all confusion, fear, and sin that renders me mute before You. Heal my soul, loosen my tongue, and teach me to speak Your truth in love. May I never be afraid to proclaim Your goodness, build others up, and strengthen Your Kingdom by giving glory to Your holy Name. Send us Fan MailTruth didn't get weaker, but the pressure to treat it like a preference has never been louder. We sit with a hard question: why is it so difficult to stand for eternal truth in a culture that keeps insisting truth is negotiable? I walk through why objective truth matters, why “your truth” can quietly become a trap, and why aligning our lives to truth is the opposite of the modern message to adjust truth until it fits. From there, we talk about the real battle underneath the noise: identity. When you don't know who you are, you'll borrow your worth from trends, approval, or fear. I share why the restored gospel answers identity with clarity: you are a child of God with divine potential and eternal worth. We connect that foundation to discipleship in real life, especially when social pressure hits hard at school, online, or at work and you feel tempted to stay quiet just to belong. We also get practical about spiritual survival in a distracted age. The adversary does not always need to prove truth is false; sometimes he only needs to drown it out. That's why daily prayer, scripture study, worship, and stillness matter, because the still small voice is easiest to miss when life is always loud. Finally, I lay out four anchors to help you stand firm through modern storms: daily personal revelation, covenants, holy places, and Jesus Christ as the true foundation. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who feels stretched by today's culture, and leave a review so more people can find it. Send us Fan MailWhat if one of the clearest lessons about God doesn't come from a pulpit, but from a battlefield? We take a fresh look at George Washington and the word he returned to again and again: providence. Not luck. Not vibes. The steady belief that God's hand can guide outcomes even when the situation looks impossible. We connect Washington's story to LDS doctrine and modern revelation, especially how God speaks through the mind and heart in quiet impressions rather than constant spectacle. From Valley Forge to victory, we talk about what real faith looks like when nothing is working, and why “small and simple things” often show up long before the miracle feels obvious. Then we get practical: how to notice those promptings, how to act on them, and how that changes the way you move through fear, uncertainty, and decision-making.We also dig into gratitude as spiritual power, not polite behavior, and why gratitude protects us from pride and spiritual blindness. From there, Washington's refusal to seize a crown becomes a vivid case study in moral agency: just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. We tie that to humility, teachability, and leadership as stewardship and service, echoing the Doctrine and Covenants teaching on persuasion, longsuffering, and gentleness. We close with a personal question: have you ever made it through something you shouldn't have survived, something that feels more like providence than coincidence? If you're still here, God's not finished with you yet. In this second week of Becoming: Navigating Your Journey of Faith, Ps Sue Irwin takes us deeper into what it really means to grow spiritually. After the initial encounter with God, what comes next? Sue explains that faith is not just about a powerful experience or learning to serve. It is about allowing God's truth to reshape the way we think.Drawing from Joshua, Psalm 23, and the temptation of Jesus, she shows why knowing Scripture is not about winning arguments or appearing spiritual. It is about renewing the mind. When we learn to meditate on God's Word and invite the Holy Spirit to help us understand it, we begin to think differently. We stop being shaped by fear, comparison, and pride, and start living from trust, courage, and love.Sue also warns of the subtle trap of legalism and reminds us that the goal is not knowledge alone, but becoming like Christ. This message is a practical and powerful invitation to build your life on solid ground and allow God's truth to form you from the inside out.

In this episode of Uncommon Sense, I'm discussing my changing views on Israel, Donald Trump, and Candace Owens and why principles grounded in Scripture must always matter more than personalities.I'll discuss how easy it is to get swept up in political figures, influencers, and movements… all while forgetting that God alone is who we should be following. The devil is just like a stalker prowling around, watching, scheming, seeking someone to devour. And in these chaotic times, he's using deception, manipulation, and emotional brainwashing to pull people into confusion and ultimately into Hell.In this episode, we're talking about how the synagogue of Satan is operating openly today, pushing narratives meant to distract and divide. I am urging my listeners to stay anchored in the Word, remain spiritually alert, and refuse to be seduced by personalities, platforms, or “conservative celebrities” who very well may not be aligned with God's truth.Ultimately, we all need to return to the Bible (now more than ever) and to guard our minds and souls as the days grow darker and darker.--https://www.bible.com/

What is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit mediates between illusions and the truth. Since He must bridge the gap between reality and dreams, perception leads to knowledge through the grace that God has given Him, to be His gift to everyone who turns to Him for truth. Across the bridge that He provides are dreams all carried to the truth, to be dispelled before the light of knowledge. There are sights and sounds forever laid aside. And where they were perceived before, forgiveness has made possible perception's tranquil end.The goal the Holy Spirit's teaching sets is just this end of dreams. For sights and sounds must be translated from the witnesses of fear to those of love. And when this is entirely accomplished, learning has achieved the only goal it has in truth. For learning, as the Holy Spirit guides it to the outcome He perceives for it, becomes the means to go beyond itself, to be replaced by the Eternal Truth. If you but knew how much your Father yearns to have you recognize your sinlessness, you would not let His Voice appeal in vain, nor turn away from His replacement for the fearful images and dreams you made. The Holy Spirit understands the means you made, by which you would attain what is forever unattainable. And if you offer them to Him, He will employ the means you made for exile to restore your mind to where it truly is at home. From knowledge, where He has been placed by God, the Holy Spirit calls to you, to let forgiveness rest upon your dreams, and be restored to sanity and peace of mind. Without forgiveness will your dreams remain to terrify you. And the memory of all your Father's Love will not return to signify the end of dreams has come.Accept your Father's gift. It is a call from Love to Love, that It be but Itself. The Holy Spirit is His gift, by which the quietness of Heaven is restored to God's beloved Son. Would you refuse to take the function of completing God, when all He wills is that you be complete?LESSON 281I Can Be Hurt By Nothing But My Thoughts.Father, Your Son is perfect. When I think that I am hurt in any way, it is because I have forgotten who I am, and that I am as You created me. Your Thoughts can only bring me happiness. If ever I am sad or hurt or ill, I have forgotten what You think, and put my little meaningless ideas in place of where Your Thoughts belong, and where they are. I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts. The Thoughts I think with You can only bless. The Thoughts I think with You alone are true.I will not hurt myself today. For I am far beyond all pain. My Father placed me safe in Heaven, watching over me. And I would not attack the Son He loves, for what He loves is also mine to love.- Jesus Christ in ACIM

We refuse to face the truth: the transgender movement is built on a Satanic lie. No one can change the sex God gave them. Pretending otherwise doesn't heal broken souls, it destroys them and puts others in danger.Christians must speak plainly. Love does not mean affirming sin or confusion. Love means pointing people back to Christ, who alone gives us our identity. Until our nation repents and turns back to God, tragedies like this will only increase.Pray for the victims and their families.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

Today's episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson is a carefully crafted full-on rant about two awful cultural failures, Donald Trump and Taylor Swift. Both, in their own ways, are failing the next generation and pushing the normalization of pedophilia. Trump refuses to release the Epstein list or hold powerful pedophiles accountable. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift flaunts her naked body on her album cover marketed to an audience that includes young girls who are already being tempted by a society pushing them toward OnlyFans. Feminism has clearly failed. We need to bring back the biblical patriarchy, AKA Christianity. At some point, we have to stop asking why is all of this happening and start living biblically individually, in our families, and as a society. For the sake of our own wellbeing and (far more importantly) the protection of our children. If we can't even agree to safeguard their innocence, what are we doing? We'll also address the cult-like following surrounding her, and why parents have a biblical responsibility to guard their children from this idolatry and from being exposed to Taylor Swift's sinful pornographic example. Darkness must be exposed, and the Word of God gives us the standard by which to measure it. We will also discuss how disgusting it is to excuse sin by simply labeling it “adult entertainment.” Unfriendly reminder: Civilization is currently collapsing. I also hope Catholics choose a biblical pope next time, not one more interested in pleasing the world than honoring the Word. We'll talk about the things he did right—his care for the poor and moments of humility. But we'll also look at the dangerous things he got wrong:Promoting open borders that have devastated countries and erased traditionSaying all religions worship the same God (they don't)Claiming the human heart is good (the Bible says it's deceitful above all things)Ignoring original sin and the fallen nature of manThis is a respectful but honest take on a figure who meant a lot to many—but who, like all of us, needed Christ above all.--https://noblegoldinvestments.com/

(2 Timothy 3:16) Every Word from God is "God breathed"—it is connected to His very nature and life. Today we learn more about how God gave His Word to man and see the amazing proofs of divine inspiration in the Bible. (0975250326) ----more----   The Inspiration of Scripture Is God perfect? If God is perfect, would everything that comes from God comes out of God? Be perfect. If that's the case, then would you say God's breath? Is perfect. Someone says, that's a strange line of questioning. Not at all, because the Bible says that the word of God literally was breathed out from God. In other words, it came directly from God's very nature. It came from God's heart to us. Here's the verse 2 Timothy 3:16 says, "16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" Now, we can't believe that the word of God is profitable if we don't believe the word of God is inspired. We use the word inspired fairly loosely today. Writers say, I had a moment of inspiration. Speakers say I felt inspired to say something, but the word inspiration in two Timothy 3:16 is not some some passing surface emotion. No, the word inspiration there literally means God-breathed. It was breathed out from the very nature of God. It came directly from God. To man.  Is God's Word Perfect? So I ask again, is God perfect? Oh, yes. God is perfect. If God is perfect, would everything that comes from God be perfect? Yes. Everything that comes directly from God would be perfect, untainted by sin and corruption. If everything that comes out of God is perfect, then would not the very God-breathed words of Scripture be perfect? One of the great struggles that people have is whether the word of God can be trusted to be perfect in every way. My question is this: Does it come from a perfect God? We're going to talk more about how God preserved his word through the ages and God's promise to do that. But let me just say right up front that to question the authority and the accurateness of scripture is to question the very nature of God. In fact, the Bible says that God has set his word above his name. Do you understand? God's name is on the line? Is God powerful enough to preserve his word? Is God wise enough to give his word perfectly the first time? All of this goes to our theology, to what we believe about God. So I read again that all scripture is given by the inspiration of God. Aren't you glad it's been given that God spoke through the Bible writers? So that when they wrote it was without error, without omission, and without exaggeration, we might say it this way. It was the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  Human Penman and the Bible And that doesn't mean that God made men robots. He never does that. He allows men to work with him. What a privilege to be laborers together with God. And such was the case for these Bible writers. The truth was conveyed in such a way that it employed those men. For example, the human penman personal experience comes out. There's no doubt. They're giving firsthand accounts many times. You can see Peter's personality shine through. You can hear Paul's educational background come through their historical accounts and read the gospel according to Luke. And it's very obvious that a medical doctor, a physician, someone with knowledge of the human body and of those types of things is writing a very detailed account. So, the information is given directly from God through men, and he employs and uses those men, their backgrounds, their style of writing. It's wonderful. And before scripture was written down, information, truth, historical accounts, and information handed down through parents were passed along verbally. Words that were passed on from generation to generation. But aren't you glad God wrote it down for us? He wrote it down on the pages of holy scripture. So we're not resting on dreams and visions and experiences. Now, somebody said, I wish we had the truth in black and white. You do have the truth in black and white. God gave us the truth in his holy word. It is literally the voice of God to us. Lemme give you some examples. Acts 28:25 is a beautiful expression the Bible says, "25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers," Then who does he say is speaking? The Holy Spirit was speaking. He was speaking through Isaiah, but Isaiah was simply the mouthpiece, if you will. But the word was the very word of God. How about this one? Peter chapter one, verse number 11 says, searching what or what manner of time the spirit of Christ, which was in them did signify when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow who was speaking through these prophets, the spirit of Christ. Which was in them. A Peter would use a similar expression in his second letter. In 2 Peter 1:21, read this "21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." It was God speaking through the man. The truth was always, no matter what the means was, the truth was always given by the inspiration of God. That inspiration extends to the very words, not just the general ideas. God didn't just give us the big idea. He inspired the very words that were given. We believe that he inspired every word, not just some of them. The only thing in your Bible that's not inspired are the chapter and verse divisions. Chapter divisions were inserted by a man named Stephen Langston. Who died in about 1228, and the verse divisions were added in 1551. Now let me just pause and say I appreciate chapter in verse divisions because they ate in our study, but those divisions were not given by inspiration. What was given by the inspiration of God was the very words in the Word of God.  Proofs of Scriptural Inspiration There's so many proofs to the inspiration of scripture. There are internal proofs. For example, think of the unity of the Bible. A book written over 1,600 years, by 40 different human penman in different languages on three continents covering 1,600 miles and yet perfect unity, no contradiction. You read its internal claims repeatedly, phrases like, "Thus saith the Lord," "God said," and "The word of the Lord came." Those kind of statements appear more than 2,000 times in the Bible. The word claims to be holy. It claims to be the Oracles of God. Think of how truthful and transparent the scripture is. There's not another book on earth where the author would speak so plainly about the great failings of men that a man, a human pen, when would write down his own sins. They're given by inspiration of God. It's more than the words of men, and there are only internal proofs. There are external proofs. It's powerful. No other book has literally transformed people's lives. I. Somebody said that where the Bible was best known, civilization rose to its highest levels. It's the first book in printing, the first book ever printed. It's the first in literature. No book has ever been translated intoes. It's the first in history, theology, prophecy, biography, and so many language laws. Why is that? Because it is the very word of the living God.  The Eternal Truth of the Bible Did you know that the average life of a bestseller is about five years? That's all. And that 75% of all books go to the scrap heap within 90 days. Yet the Bible is still the bestselling book of all time. Why is that? Because truth is timeless. It is the eternal truth of the living God. It was Carlisle who said, no lie can live forever. Friend, the word of God is forever settled in heaven. It is indeed the word of the living God. God still alive and so is his word.  And I want to challenge you today to spend some time meditating on God's word and realize that it is not simply the word of David, Paul, or Moses. This is the word of the living God. Ask the God of the word, the author who lives inside of you to use his book to speak to you today. Outro and Resources Repeating what other people have said about the Bible is not enough. We must know the biblical reason behind what we believe. We hope you will visit us at etj.bible to access our Library of Bible teaching resources, including book-by-book studies of Scripture. You'll also find studies to watch, listen to, or read. We are so grateful for those who pray for us, who share the biblical content and for those who invest to help us advance this ministry worldwide. Again, thank you for listening, and we hope you'll join us next time on Enjoying the Journey.

In this episode Gyani Amrik Singh discusses on Panj Kand (the five stages of spiritual journey) from Pauri 34 to 37 of Jap Ji Sahib. Guru Nanak describes the spiritual journey through the five stages of enlightenment, known as the Panj Khand (Five Realms). The journey begins in Dharam Khand (Realm of Duty), where one becomes aware of divine justice and the importance of righteous living. Next is Gyan Khand (Realm of Knowledge), where the seeker gains wisdom and understanding of the vastness of creation. This is followed by Saram Khand (Realm of Effort), where spiritual practice refines the mind and body, leading to inner transformation. In Karam Khand (Realm of Grace), the soul experiences divine grace and spiritual strength, overcoming all obstacles. Finally, in Sach Khand (Realm of Truth), the seeker unites with the Eternal Truth, experiencing oneness with the Creator. These stages emphasize self-awareness, discipline, grace, and ultimate union with the Divine. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, here is the latest episode of Gurmat Conversations. Precious and Beloved: An Eternal Truth

Our first reading today comes from the book of Isaiah. In it Isaiah tells the people that they are precious in the sight of the Lord. They are loved by God. But He speaks these words to a people who feel anything but that. For generations, things have not been going their way. The dream of a united kingdom had fallen apart within months of Solomon's death. There were constants wars back and forth. Oppression and corruption were rampant. The poor got poorer and the rich got richer. The orphan and the widow were neglected. It was a dark and bad time, but the rotten cherry on the top of this sundae was that the Babylonians had come and sent the people into exile. This was not a time when anyone could look around and say, boy, do I feel precious in the sight of the Lord. Listen to or read Bingham's entire sermon by clicking “Read More.”

Life bears witness that both truth and good must always be closely protected. Mars is our past and Venus is our future. Here is episode 4 of the MARAS Odyssey. The truth will always prevail. The years of struggle weigh heavy on us. We are fighting for eternal liberty and must carry any burden. The exhaustion of battle is our constant companion. The fight is one for the soul. Blessed are the meek who see divine justice move at it's own pace. Integrity must stand in the storm and endure. Philottomo means dedication to others. The Creed dude goes off. Focusing on what we have in common, and then building from that. What the Constitution says means holding the violators accountable. Don't be consumed with yourself, and learn to see things as others do. Serve people when you can and always be learning. They attack the integrity of your name when their losing. We are always eating challenges for lunch. Salvation lies within our faith and God's love. We must live for today, but also be prepared to help the people of tomorrow.

"When President Russell M. Nelson invited us to think celestially, it reminded us to look harder, take the long view, and change our perspective. For the next six months, that is our quest. We will consider Perspective, Devotion, and Relationship. Let us all look harder and think celestial. It will lead us to discover the rich blessings Heavenly Father has in store for each of us.”
