Should Christians love their own nation more than other nations? Does patriotism conflict with the Great Commission? And what does the Bible teach about our responsibilities to family, church, community, and nation? In this special in-studio episode of The Magistrate, Josh Howard is joined by guest host Alex Kocman for a discussion on patriotism, nationalism, missions, and the Christian doctrine of rightly ordered loves . Drawing from Scripture, Augustine, Aquinas, and the historic Christian tradition, they explore whether Christians have unique obligations toward their own people and nation, how patriotism differs from nationalism, and why love for those nearest to us does not negate our responsibility to the nations.Topics include:Christian patriotismOrdered lovesThe Great CommissionNationalism and "America First"Civil magistrates and public lifeFamily, church, and nationBiblical duties and loyaltiesMissions and evangelismCan love of country be a virtue? Introduction On mother's day we often read Proverbs 31 —a woman of noble character, who can find? It lists all the things she does and all the reasons people appreciate her. She works eagerly She shops carefully She gets up early to feed everyone She runs a small business on the side She cares for the…

Listen now to Aaron's insight on the 35th chapter of Isaiah. Isaiah seems to be addressing a people other than Israel in this chapter—righteous Gentiles from the nations? He is outlining how a righteous Gentile is to care for Jewish people in their end time distress.

Welcome to the C-Suite for Christ Podcast, where war isn't just a metaphor it's a spiritual and moral reality. In this episode, Paul M. Neuberger rips the mask off sanitized Christianity and tackles what so many refuse to face: evil is real, appeasement is deadly, and sometimes standing for Christ means standing against tyrants, oppressors, and the forces that threaten the innocent. This is not about echoing the world's safe slogans. It's about knowing when to love, yes—but also when to fight. It's about praying for peace, defending the weak, and never confusing passivity with righteousness. The Bible doesn't call us to be soft—it calls us to be bold.Jesus is still Lord—on the battlefield, in the boardroom, and in every season of conflict. So, what will YOU do when the world's evil demands your response?"A time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace." – Ecclesiastes 3:8Episode Highlights08:39 – Pretending evil doesn't exist is not compassion, it's naivete. Ignoring evil doesn't make someone morally superior, it often makes them dangerously passive. And history has taught us a painful lesson again and again and again that when evil is allowed to operate unchecked, the consequences are catastrophic.26:53 – Many individuals suspected something terrible was unfolding, but they convinced themselves it wasn't their responsibility to intervene. Others were simply afraid...Scripture speaks directly to this kind of moral failure when it says this in Isaiah 1:17. Learn to do right, seek justice, defend the oppressed...God doesn't call his people to passive faith. He calls them to active justice.51:24 – Every soldier who defends innocent lives, every leader who stands against tyranny, every believer who refuses to compromise truth—all of them are participating in the broader struggle between good and evil that has defined human history. But Christians fight that battle with a unique confidence. We know how the story ends. Evil doesn't ultimately triumph. Tyranny doesn't rule forever. Violence doesn't define eternity. Christ does.Connect with Paul M. NeubergerWebsite
In this message, guest speaker Michael Rondon picks up in Matthew 10, covering the second half of the chapter and unpacking six key themes Jesus presents to his disciples: fear, worth, public allegiance, division, discipleship, and faithfulness. Anchoring the entire message in the concept of loyalty, Michael challenges listeners to examine whether Jesus is truly Lord above all else — above comfort, reputation, safety, and approval. He reminds us that following Jesus is costly, but that cost is worth embracing wholeheartedly.Michael walks through each theme with honesty and practical insight. He addresses how fear drives so many of our decisions and silences our faith, how we wrongly seek our sense of worth from performance, relationships, and achievement rather than from God, and how believers are called to a public, confessed, unapologetic faith — not a silent one. He also tackles the reality that living by a different standard than the world can create division, even within families, and encourages listeners to start by making their home a place where faith is modeled and prioritized. The message closes with a call to discipleship and faithfulness — the understanding that following Jesus means surrendering control daily and trusting that even small acts of obedience matter eternally. Michael reminds the congregation that salvation is free, but following Jesus costs everything, and yet nothing we lose is greater than what we gain. Jesus, he concludes, is worth public, costly, undivided allegiance.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

The next part of this image,—the next way used by them for the propagating of the faith, and the conversion of them they call heretics,—is the Inquisition. So much hath been declared and is known thereof, that it is needless here to give a portraiture of it. It may suffice, that it hath been long since opened, like Cacus's den, and discovered to be the greatest arsenal of cruelty, the most dreadful shambles of blood and slaughter, that ever was in the world. This is that engine which hath supplied the scarlet whore with the blood of saints, and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus, until she was drunk with it.

This week feels different. The assassination of Charlie Kirk wasn't just another tragedy — it was a line crossed in America. In this episode of Spartan Leadership, Josh Kosnick shares his unfiltered response to the events of this week. From the cultural divide exposed by Charlie's death, to the dangerous normalization of political violence on social media, to the difference between justice and vengeance — this is a sobering conversation about the value of human life, leadership, and truth.Charlie Kirk was a 31-year-old husband, father, and believer. He wasn't a politician. He was murdered for his convictions. That reality demands we ask: which side of this divide will you stand on?Josh reflects on Scripture, leadership, and the responsibility to use your voice even when it costs you. This is a call to clarity, courage, and justice in a culture at war with itself.00:00 Introduction and Mission Statement00:16 Founding the Organization00:24 Core Beliefs and Values00:51 Christian Duty and Public Arena01:07 Personal Reflections and Gratitude01:52 Grassroots Movement and Media Perception02:14 Generational Realignment and Youth Engagement03:21 Tragic News and Emotional Response04:20 The Impact of Charlie Kirk's Death10:24 Social Media's Role in Modern Tragedies22:11 Call to Action and Leadership33:56 Concluding Thoughts and Final Call to ActionDon't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more episodes featuring top business minds, elite performers, and leadership experts.Connect with Josh Kosnick: https://linktr.ee/joshkosnick#SpartanLeadership #Leadership #BusinessSuccess #Mindset #Entrepreneurship #SelfImprovement #Podcast #JoshKosnick #SpartanMindsetSpartan Valor Foundation is dedicated to empowering veterans, military families, and survivors of child trafficking. On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we confront the horrific attack at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. The shooter, Robert “Robin” Westman, once walked those same halls as a student. Years of unchecked mental illness and spiritual rebellion ended in bloodshed.America is in denial. We refuse to face the truth: the transgender movement is built on a Satanic lie. No one can change the sex God gave them. Pretending otherwise doesn't heal broken souls, it destroys them and puts others in danger.Christians must speak plainly. Love does not mean affirming sin or confusion. Love means pointing people back to Christ, who alone gives us our identity. Until our nation repents and turns back to God, tragedies like this will only increase.Pray for the victims and their families.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee
Today's episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson is a carefully crafted full-on rant about two awful cultural failures, Donald Trump and Taylor Swift. Both, in their own ways, are failing the next generation and pushing the normalization of pedophilia. Trump refuses to release the Epstein list or hold powerful pedophiles accountable. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift flaunts her naked body on her album cover marketed to an audience that includes young girls who are already being tempted by a society pushing them toward OnlyFans. Feminism has clearly failed. We need to bring back the biblical patriarchy, AKA Christianity. At some point, we have to stop asking why is all of this happening and start living biblically individually, in our families, and as a society. For the sake of our own wellbeing and (far more importantly) the protection of our children. If we can't even agree to safeguard their innocence, what are we doing? Why aren't we protecting the children?--https://bakerbookhouse.com/featured/the-brand-sunday

Today, we're taking a look at the unraveling mayhem situation in California, where Governor Gavin Newsom's failure to lead has allowed chaos to run absolutely wild. Violent riots involving illegal immigrants (most of whom are military-aged men) are breaking out across the state. These individuals are not assimilating, they are disrupting, demanding, and waving foreign flags while burning ours on American soil. As California spirals, it's no surprise that federal intervention has become necessary. President Trump has stepped in where state "leadership" would not. This really isn't about politics, it's about preserving order, protecting citizens, and upholding the rule of law. We are a people who serve a God of justice, not disorder. What's happening is not compassionate, it's destabilizing. California deserves better, and America must wake up before this becomes the norm nationwide. God forbid. Let's talk about what's really going on in California and why prayer, truth, and resolve are crucial right now.--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/products/the-bible-study-physical?srsltid=AfmBOoqJuDPZk6H7VWSxgepSo3RWAJCtIGO9wrHmULH1iMgxSzkJ791_--Order CULTure: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/SLYWFXAB6479S

HERE ARE 10 REASONS WHY CHRISTIANS SHOULD VOTE:Voting publicly recognises that we submit to the authority of the political system in our nation as established by God. (Romans 13:1-7)Voting recognises the equality of all people and their right to speak and be heard. (Deuteronomy 10:17-19)It is one way that we can obey God's command to seek the good of those around us and our nation as a whole. (Jeremiah 29:5-6) It shows that we care deeply about who our leaders are as we are urged to offer prayer and intercession on their behalf. (1 Timothy 2:1,2) It is a simple yet significant way we can do something about politics in our nation. 'All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing', Edmund Burke. (Psalms 34:14)It makes a difference the way a grain of salt makes a difference, and that is how we are to influence our society for good. (Matthew 5:13)It is a privilege not to be taken for granted. Those of us who reap the benefits of living in a democracy should play a part in upholding democracyNot voting is a form of voting, as it will influence the outcome. We need to take responsibility for our actions, as well as our lack of actions. (Luke 10:25-37)Voting has biblical precedence for example Acts 14:23 describes that the early Christians elected elders by voting.Voting is part of our stewardship to use all the resources we have been given in ways that honor God; to waste a vote is to squander a gift.THE HISTORICAL ADAM Adam and Eve,In Genesis two and three. Modern science in the area of genomics and paleo archeology are fueling debates on the “historical” Adam and Eve and whether such an original human couple truly existed or whether the Adam and Eve we read of in Genesis are only figurative representations of how the human race originated. modern genetics paleo archeology are now coming to bear on the biblical narrative of Genesis. Was there a single, founding couple, or is the human race the result of evolutionary processes where humans evolved from prior hominid lifeforms? Did humanity originate with an original human pair, Adam and Eve, or did humans evolve from a progression of early hominins? Surprisingly, a vast majority of people of faith do not give much thought or concern into the inquiry of whether the human race began with a literal Adam and Eve. This is changing, however, as the issue has garnered increased attention from scientists and theologians alike as modern science is probing further and deeper to provide greater understanding of human population genetics from clues found in the modern human gene pool. Employing a sort of reverse engineering, paleo archeologists are studying the modern human gene pool to trace back to the origins of the human bloodline, even to an original human pair. For Christians today the issue may be as important as the debate regarding the theory of evolution was in the early twentieth century as several fundamental Christian doctrines are brought to bear from the doctrine of the mankind's fall from grace in Eden to the doctrine of original sin where sin passed down to all men and women on account of Adam and Eve eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Modern evolutionary theory has long been a constant point of tension with biblical creationism and the question of whether there existed a literal original human pair is a natural extension of the creation-evolution debate.

One of the most common questions Charlie receives from young campus conservatives is why America should support Israel. The Bible says that God will bless those who bless Israel — but is the modern state founded in 1948 the same as the one from 2500 years ago? Dr. Jeff Myers makes the case that backing Israel remains both a Christian duty and an important step for combating the danger of radical Islam. Plus, Raheem Kassam breaks down the rapid decline and fall of Speaker Johnson's political promise and his depressing submission to Joe Biden.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
