In this exclusive interview I speak with WWE Legend, Scott Garland (Fka, Scotty 2 Hotty) This this utterly fascinating 75 minute conversation we discuss Scott's resurgence back on the Indys, across the US and his three tours of the UK in 2022. We discuss some of the larger than life characters he has faced in 2022, including Charles Crowley, Gene Munny and many more from the UK and Ireland. Scott give us his thoughts on the current WWE product with Triple H at the helm. Scott tells us about his wrestling fandom and some of the larger than life stars he use to watch as a kid, before his early beginnings in the wrestling business as a backyarder, before starting on the Indys in 1989. We discuss Scott's work as an enhancement guy in WWF from 1991 onwards, including Bam Bam Bigelow, Yokozuna, Mr. Perfect, Owen Hart, Steve Austin and many more, before being given his first WWF contract ahead of the WWF light heavyweight title tournament in 1997. Scott tells us about his first meeting with Brian Christopher in Tennessee, and how the friendship developed through to the early beginning of the legendary tag team, Too Much/Too Cool. Scott also tells us how Rikishi became a member of Too Cool and how they helped each other get to the top of the industry in the WWF. Scott tells us about his experience as part of The Attitude Era and how wild the scene and the schedule was when pro-wrestling was at its peak in 1998. Scott answers a fans question about his match against Dean Malenko at Backlash 2000 and the crazy finish to that match. We also discuss his 6 years as a coach for NXT and the Performance Centre in Orlando and why he eventually decided to leave the company in 2021.     In this episode Saul and Jolene talk about the SRD's (System Reference Document) that are being published by some game publishers of their in house RPG Systems.  Saul has been wondering about this happening with a couple of publishers.      Specifically Modiphius with their 2D20 system and Free League with their Year Zero Engine.  Each of these publishers have made several RPG rules using a version of their in house systems.  Saul has GM'ed or played in several of each publishers games.  Conan, Mutant Chronicles, Star Trek Adventures, John Carter of Mars for Modphius and  Coriolis, Tales From the Loop and Alien.      The problem Saul saw was that every incarnation of the system was different, sometimes just a bit other were quite a bit different.  So a SRD solves that problem of having one set of rules for the house system.       Saul and Jolene both meander a bit and go off topic but they finally get back to SRDs and why they feel each publisher putting out an SRD of their house systems as a good thing.    Episode Art by Michael Shean-Jones     Web Art by Jim Foster    Music by Denni A.  song Summer Days, off the album Indys.    Available from Tribeofnoise.com

Today marks the return of The Brad Gilmore Show! Brad welcomes Eric Zala of Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation. In 1982, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Chris Strompolos, eleven, asked Eric Zala, twelve, a question: “Would you like to help me do a remake Raiders of the Lost Ark?  I'm playing Indiana Jones.” And they did it. Every shot, every line of dialogue, every stunt. With the exception of maybe Rambo, it's difficult to think of any characters who've been ripped off as frequently as Indiana Jones. (Granted, you could argue Dr. Jones is himself a ripoff, but that's beside the point.) With rumors of a film reboot on the rise, we devote this week to the ersatz Indys who've been whipping their way through games since the '80s. Then it's on to chat about Evolve, the pros and (mostly) cons of a Netflix Zelda series, and the comedy sketches you'd like to turn into games.
