Lando Norris needs to bounce back in form. Period. What's on our minds ahead of this weekend's race? Here's the lowdown from the Inside Line #F1 Podcast - If McLaren is set to dominate Formula 1 in 2025, the sport needs the two McLaren drivers "competing" at the front for wins - without "papaya rules", of course. - Will Red Bull Racing continue to struggle in the heat with their tyre degradation? And hence, will talks of "Max Verstappen leaving" intensify at the 2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit? - Will Ferrari finally score a podium? And will George Russell continue to impress at Mercedes - and keep Toto Wolff from wooing Max Verstappen? - Who will lead the mid-field charge - Alpine, Williams or Haas? - And finally, will Fernando Alonso finally break his points scoring duck in 2025? Tune in LIVE Yes, it's a triple-header and so are our schedules! But Kunal Shah, Soumil Arora, and Sundaram Ramaswami are back just in time for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

We're heading to one of the fastest street circuits on the calendar—the Jeddah Corniche Circuit! With its stunning night backdrop and blistering speeds, this track never disappoints. In this episode, we break down the major storylines heading into the weekend:
De Formule 1 Grand Prix van Saoedi-Arabië werd afgelopen weekend verreden, maar Max Verstappen vond het lastig om daar naartoe te gaan. De coureur van Red Bull Racing vindt het Jeddah Corniche Circuit gevaarlijk en denkt dat het een kwestie is van wachten op een groot ongeluk, voordat er veranderingen komen.
Can Redbull be matched, let alone be beaten? For the second Grand Prix of the year, F1 headed to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, a track where drivers spend most of their time at full throttle, navigating fast corners and long straights. Two things the RB20 seems to enjoy quite nicely as we saw a Red Bull 1-2 once again at the end of this race weekend. With the team now on cruise control, we wonder if internal turmoil may be the only thing that stands in the way of continued greatness. Beyond Red Bull doing Red Bull things, P3-P20 offered enough to keep an F1 fan glued to the screen. From an appendicitis sidelining Carlos Sainz, to a rookie getting tested in the fires of Jeddah. We even had a couple of wily veterans playing keepaway with P10. Tune in and listen to this episode for more of what we learned from the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
In the 2nd weekend of the 2024 F1 season, the girls are……..HONESTLY NOT THRIVING, but we will persevere!!! We're back to discuss an action packed weekend at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. This weekend had a bit of everything, Ferrari welcomed a new driver, Lewis Hamilton went up against McLaren for most of the race, Kevin Magnussen brought out his inner viking and Sergio Perez is the most stable part of Red Bull! Find out what we thought about it all, and more!
Round Two of the F1 World Championship took us to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia and while it was a familiar winner, for most, there was an all new face in scarlet red. This week On The Gravel a potential return to Turkey is discussed, Saudi Arabia's huge plans for a new F1 circuit in the coming years, as well as one more conversation over the delusion of Christian Horner. The race weekend brought a surprise debutant from the Ferrari Driver Academy in Oliver Bearman as Carlos Sainz was diagnosed and treated for appendicitis. A race of many parts, seeing the potential of Bearman showcased, a strategic masterclass from Haas, and some good battles between the Mercedes and McLarens gave us a nice race under lights. Concluding with our F2, IndyCar and MotoGP talk for the week, we hope you enjoyed this week in racing as much as we did!

Welcome to episode 3 of Time On Track, covering round 2 of the Formula 1 season which took place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia this past weekend. In this episode, Ricardo and Blake return to discuss the ever evolving mid and backfield teams still hoping to make an impression, a pair of struggling Ferrari cars, a nearly broken Lando Norris, and much more. The race itself didn't have much drama on its face, but some interesting storylines emerged, as well as confirmation that those Astons are indeed fast race cars. Additionally, we ponder if the Mercs are really that bad, and what kind of competition we might see emerge between the front running Red Bull drivers, Sergio Perez, and Max Verstappen. We'll be back for coverage of round 3 of the season the first week of April, which is taking place at Albert Park in Australia on April 2nd. This is a shorter track which was just repaved last year, and now boasts a 4th DRS zone which is sure to bring a bit more spice to the race this year. Last year, the race saw DNFs by Verstappen and Sainz, leaving a clear victory for Leclerc, ahead of Perez and Russell. How will the Astons factor into this year's race? Will they both finish? Join us after the race to discuss all this and more.Let us know what storylines you're paying attention to this year, and what teams you're paying attention to the most. We welcome any feedback on the podcast as well, so don't hesitate to reach out with any comments or suggestions. Under the bright lights of the Saudi GP, the girls watch a not so thrilling race between Red Bull and Red Bull (is anyone even surprised at this point?). Discussion topics include a “mostly great” trip to Colorado, Valterri showing his butt-ass AGAIN, us trying to get a liquid IV sponsorship, dying from allergies (can we also get a Claritin sponsorship??), the breakup we never saw coming, Lewis trashing Mercedes, McLaren not exactly thriving, wtf was going on with that national anthem, Fernando's moment of glory being SABOTAGED, and does anyone even go to Barnes & Noble anymore? The girls are a little slap happy this episode after a week of traveling and other chaos. Red Bull's tag as Championship favourite was underlined by a one-two finish in a fearsome display of speed at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.Sergio Perez triumphed on the Saudi Arabian streets ahead of a frustrated Max Verstappen, but reliability concerns remain with the RB19 cars. The big talking point was undoubtedly the decision-making going on behind the scenes, as Fernando Alonso was penalised and told to hand over his podium trophy, before being reinstated long after the chequered flag. Joining new host Balve Baines to discuss the talking points from the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix are RacingNews365.com journalist Michael Butterworth and Dieter Rencken, Editorial Director of RacingNews365.com.With the race being shaken up by a mid-race Safety Car, were Race Control too trigger happy with their call?In the emergence of a new battle forming at McLaren, which driver should take priority at the Woking team? And what's the state of play with underperforming Formula 1 giants, Mercedes and Ferrari? The FIA always manages to find a way to grab the limelight every other Grand Prix. As for Fernando Alonso, he's managed to score a podium at every Grand Prix in 2023. But the one at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit wasn't without controversy. Should the FIA install a pit lane timer for all teams serving a time penalty? Will the start grid boxes be redesigned to aid driver visibility? Will the wording for 'working on the car' (or not!) be re-written? In this episode of the Inside Line F1 Podcast, Soumil and Kunal review the talking points from the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen's solid recovery from P15 to 2nd - and why he's right in being disappointed. Sergio 'Checo' Perez's solid drive from pole to flag! In today's Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix qualifying at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, it was a Red Bull on Pole Position but not the world champion. One year on from his first pole position came the second pole for Sergio Perez. The Mexican driver posted a stunning lap time of 1:28.265, narrowly edging out Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who will start 12th because of a 10 place grid drop. Third was Fernando Alonso, 0.4 seconds behind Perez, but he moves up to start second, for an Aston Martin on the front row. Max Verstappen suffered a dramatic Q2 exit due to a driveshaft issue and will race from a disappointing 15th position. Martyn Lee is joined by Autosport's F1 Writer, Jake Boxall-Legge, who is in Saudi Arabia to witness the action first hand. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Just how rowdy can it get if the Jeddah Corniche Circuit delivers a Max Verstappen vs. Charles Leclerc...with a Fernando Alonso thrown in? And of course, let's hope that there are no missile strikes! Cash is King? The events leading up to the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix seem to make us think so. The Grid Girls are back with their review of the race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. It seems that F1, yet again, can't escape controversy as the events leading up to the race highlighted F1's tendencies to put money and politics over safety and sport. Although the 2022 regulations continue to show an improvement in wheel to wheel racing, is F1 heading in the wrong direction as it tries to grow its global presence?
This week we denounce the validity of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, we chat about the resurgence of Felipe Druguvich and ask whether Trident are genuine title contenders or not.
This week on Lights Out F1 podcast we discuss one of the more controversial Grand Prix weekends in recent times. From an explosive free practice to Checo's record breaking first pole position you won't want to miss out on all that happened this past weekend at the 2022 Saudi Arabian GP.
GPFans editor-in-chief Ian Parkes, deputy editor Sam Hall and F1 correspondent Ewan Gale join Oliver Wilson for this week's roundtable. Max Verstappen 'kickstarted' his championship defence by taking the victory in Jeddah following a thrilling battle with Charles Leclerc. But there was as much action off track as there was on it across the weekend after a terrorist attack threatened to cancel the event. Listen to the GPFans Global team as they digest all the action from the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

They were lightyears ahead of the rest in Qatar. As F1 heads for hyper-speed Saudi, just 8 points split Verstappen and Hamilton. Max can land the knock-out punch in this astonishing title fight in Jeddah, but as Tom Clarkson and Damon Hill explore, it looks like we're heading for a breathless, brilliant final-race showdown. The pair analyse how each title challenger got the most out of the Qatar GP, how Verstappen can win the title in Saudi Arabia, and whether he or Lewis Hamilton will be feeling more confident heading into the final two races. Elsewhere, what was the secret to Fernando Alonso's joyous return to the podium, and have Ferrari struck the decisive blow in their P3 fight with McLaren? TC and Damon are joined by MBC Action F1 TV presenter and host of the official Saudi GP podcast, Sabine Sassine, who tells us why there's no room for any mistakes at the unforgiving Jeddah Corniche Circuit, especially if a December rain shower blows by.
