5. THE LAST / FINAL STEP OF THE LJ APPROACHA. Put the T/O foot down FLAT on to the T/O board. Not on your toe: not with the heel first....FLAT !!!B. Maintain a PERPENDICULAR POSTURE throughout this part of the jump.C. DO NOT have a full cycle of the T/O leg ( last step ) as you place it on the board. Simply scoot the leg through and put the foot down.D. The T/O STEP is the SHORTEST STEP / STRIDE in the LJ Approach.6. THE TAKE OFFA. The upper body must remain a PERPENDICULAR posture to and through the entire T/O process.B. There must be a checking or delaying of the onset of rotation with the arm opposite the T/O leg at the moment the athlete leaves the board.C. The Leading Leg must come through with the heel tight to the butt to create a SHORT, FAST MOVING LEVER at this T/O moment.D. Instruct the athlete to RUN THROUGH the T/O Board....NOT TO the T/O Board. This will assist in maintaining speed until the last possible moment.7. AIR MECHANICS AND LANDINGA. The HANG, HITCH KICK or HITCH HANG are all efficient techniques to be used. No one technique is better than the other. The purpose each of these techniques serves is to help delay the premature onset of rotation so the athlete can establish a good extension at landing.B. Maintain a PERPENDICULAR posture as long as possible as you leave the T/O board. C. Instruct the athlete to delay the extension of the legs until the last possible instant of deceleration.***Welcome to Gill1918, the track & field coaching podcast powered by Gill Athletics. [teaching text]4 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; 6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.”Exodus 19:4-6If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:14GOD WILL INSTRUCT4 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself.Exodus 19:44 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; 6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.'Exodus 19:4-6Too many people read the law of Moses thinking that it shows how they can be accepted by God. They get it the wrong way around. The people of Israel were redeemed by God, then they were given the law to keep as an expression of gratitude. This principle is the same in the New Testament: Christians are redeemed and then told how to live holy lives.David PawsonI appeal to you therefore, brothers,[a] by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.Romans 12:1"It is extremely important to remember that the Law of Moses was given to a redeemed people, not to redeem a people."IbidBeing a Christian isn't a spectrum; it's a position. Purpose of the Mosaic CovenantREVEALREFORMRELEASEThe Law reveals the holiness of God and the sinfulness of man“5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant,”The Law reforms the people to become holy mediators“you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine;”The Law releases the blessing of Godand you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.'“Suppose that a father tells his son that, if he does his chores faithfully, he will reward him with a bicycle at Christmastime. The son is already a member of the family, so doing his chores faithfully has nothing to do with becoming a member of the family. It is simply a way by which the son can enjoy blessing in the family. Similarly, God told His children, the Israelites, that if they carried out the responsibilities that He was laying on them, they could enjoy blessings from His hand.”Thomas Watson8 All the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” Exodus 19:8Man naturally believes in, and depends on, himself. And he must learn, at bitter cost often, of his own helplessness.NewellIsrael's utter failureWhen the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron and said to him, “Up, make us gods who shall go before us. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.” 2 So Aaron said to them, “Take off the rings of gold that are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” 3 So all the people took off the rings of gold that were in their ears and brought them to Aaron. 4 And he received the gold from their hand and fashioned it with a graving tool and made a golden[a] calf. And they said, “These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!” 5 When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made a proclamation and said, “Tomorrow shall be a feast to the Lord.” 6 And they rose up early the next day and offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings. And the people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.Exodus 32:1-6We are naive as Christians if we think that our thinking is not shaped by the cultural currents that surround us.Carl R. Truman17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.Matthew 17:2012 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. Philippians 2:12-16

An episode from Seneca Bible Baptist Church, a conservative, independent body of King James Bible believers located in Seneca Falls, New York. We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God breathed, and therefore are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man. The Scriptures shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical historical meaning. The King James Version of the Bible shall be the official and only translation used by the church (2 Tim. 3:16-17). We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each coeternal in being, co-identical in nature, coequal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections (Deut. 6:4). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men (Phil. 2:58). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through his death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and, that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead (1 Peter 1:35). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate (Acts 1:910). We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins 1 Pet. 1:1819). We believe in that “blessed hope,” the personal, imminent return of Christ Who will rapture His Church prior to the seven year tribulation period. At the end of the Tribulation, Christ will personally and visibly return with His saints, to establish His earthly Messianic Kingdom which was promised to the nation of Israel (Ps. 89:34; Dan. 2:3145; 19:1116; 20:16). A message from Seneca Bible Baptist Church: “We would love to have you visit! “If you are looking for a church in the Seneca Falls, New York area that preaches the Truth from God's Word, reach out to us at any time. Join Julie and Ginger as they speak with Anashay Wright,  a national award-winning educator, speaker, consultant, and founder of Authentic Disruption and Disruptive Partners, a community-based leadership development program.  https://www.anashaywright.com/ Anashay describes her journey by telling a story of inclusive school leaders who surrounded her family with community resources when they were in need. She says that school and district leaders prioritized people over policy, which led to Anashay falling in love with helping children, and she is now paying it forward. Here are some great takeaways from Anashay: The curriculum can't save you. Brainwash them into greatness. Use the community as a connector.  Use tech and AI to educate. Kids don't need Saviorism; they need servant leaders. Kids can read! They read what they want. You can drive solutions with what kids CAN do. If they argue, teach them to argue like an attorney.  Beware of the cycle of impoverished thinking. Give them the power to express themselves, and then listen to them. Beware of deficit thinking that shames people. What are the gifts and talents that you bring into the space? Let them dream. Lead with what's possible. It starts with the adult dreaming. Make their vision your mission. Lead with radical, disruptive love. The question isn't how we protect kids from trauma; it's how we help them respond to it when they encounter it. Our favorite quote from Anashay: When we start to lead with what's possible and the promise, shift our thinking, and actually believe in ourselves and then in our children, we will disrupt the system. Disruptive Innovation means building something better and ignoring what we currently have. In a classroom, that means if all the other teachers are writing kids up, I'm not going to write kids up. I'm simply gonna ask kids, “What's wrong, what's the solution, and how are you feeling?” The big and small moves you make every day when nobody is looking disrupt the system.

Instructions to Those Who MinisterAll who are under the yoke as slaves are to regard their own masters as worthy of all honor so that the name of God and our doctrine will not be spoken against. Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brothers or sisters, but must serve them all the more, because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved. Teach and preach these principles. If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a sick craving for controversial questions and disputes about words, from which come envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, and constant friction between people of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I direct you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep the commandment without fault or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly, empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”— which some have professed and thereby have gone astray from the faith.Grace be with you.Visit us on all our social media platforms:https://linktr.ee/sovereignkingchurchListen on the go on your favorite podcast service:Apple - https://tinyurl.com/uxw3awb6Spotify - https://tinyurl.com/3afr2amzCCLI Copyright License 21770970 Size A - Streaming License # 21770963 Size A

Sermon verses:“Wisdom has built her house; she has set up its seven pillars. She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table. She has sent out her servants, and she calls from the highest point of the city, “Let all who are simple come to my house!” To those who have no sense she says, “Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed. Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of insight.” Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults; whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse. Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you. Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer. Folly is an unruly woman; she is simple and knows nothing. She sits at the door of her house, on a seat at the highest point of the city, calling out to those who pass by, who go straight on their way, “Let all who are simple come to my house!” To those who have no sense she says, “Stolen water is sweet; food eaten in secret is delicious!” But little do they know that the dead are there, that her guests are deep in the realm of the dead.”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬https://bible.com/bible/111/pro.9.1-18.NIVYou can join us every thursday on our prayer line978-990-5000; 596853 (is the access code) from 12pm to 1pmTo give today:Givelify: Search: The King's Healing RoomPay PalTKHROFFICE@gmail.comTKHR now offers Text to Give... Here's how it works:5 Steps...   Text - "give " to 1 (844) 981-2759 which is unique to TKHRYou will receive a text with instructions Follow the instructions to set up a giving accountText the amount you want to give and the designation (eg. tithe, offering, general fund)You will receive a receipt via email confirming your giftI did it and it works! If you want to listen to the sermon on audio podcast here are the links belowApple Podcasthttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-kings-healing-room-podcast/id1494591065?uo=4Breakerhttps://www.breaker.audio/the-kings-healing-room-podcastGoogle Podcast https://www.google.com/podcasts?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9hbmNob3IuZm0vcy8xMjJjOWQ4OC9wb2RjYXN0L3Jzcw==Overcast https://overcast.fm/itunes1494591065/the-kings-healing-room-podcastPocket Casthttps://pca.st/bv1ufvf7Radio Publichttps://radiopublic.com/the-kings-healing-room-podcast-WJ2LL1Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/4LDhQ58s0Ysk6PYJ9vKMbo

QUOTES FOR REFLECTION “A proverb is a short sentence based on long experience.”~Miguel de Cervantes, Spanish author (1547-1616) “Proverbs are the palm oil with which words are eaten.” ~Chinua Achebe, Nigerian novelist (1930-2013) “A God wise enough to create me and the world I live in is wise enough to watch out for me.”~Philip Yancy, American author “God is always trying to give good things to us, but our hands are too full to receive them.”~Augustine, north African bishop and theologian (354AD-430) “To all life thou givest, to both great and small;in all life thou livest, the true life of all;we blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree.”~“Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise,” 1867 Hymn by Walter Smith “[Jesus'] body was for Him not a limitation, but an instrument so that He was both in it and in all things, and outside all things, resting in the Father alone.”~Athanasius, Egyptian theologian (296AD-373) “Most Christians probably tend to write God's presence off as a stuffy, philosophical category to be handled by tenured department heads in ivy-covered university halls. Or maybe [they confuse] God with a type of super-Santa Claus who knows when we're sleeping and when we're awake…But when we turn to Scripture, we find God's presence is relational and real, even gloriously manifest at times. The Bible promises that God will be with his people and that he will not forsake them.~Ryan Lister, Professor at Western SeminarySERMON PASSAGEProverbs 2:6-11, 9:1-18 (NIV)Proverbs 26 For the Lord gives wisdom;  from his mouth come knowledge  and understanding.7 He holds success in store for the upright,    he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,8 for he guards the course of the just     and protects the way of his faithful ones.9 Then you will understand what is right and just      and fair—every good path.10 For wisdom will enter your heart,      and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.11 Discretion will protect you,     and understanding will guard you. Proverbs 91 Wisdom has built her house;  she has set up its seven pillars.2 She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine;   she has also set her table.3 She has sent out her servants, and she calls   from the highest point of the city,4  “Let all who are simple come to my house!”  To those who have no sense she says,5  “Come, eat my food   and drink the wine I have mixed.6 Leave your simple ways and you will live;  walk in the way of insight.”7 Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults;   whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.8 Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you;   rebuke the wise and they will love you.9 Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still;   teach the righteous and  they will add to their learning.10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,   and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.11 For through wisdom your days will be many,   and years will be added to your life.12 If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you;   if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.13 Folly is an unruly woman;   she is simple and knows nothing.14 She sits at the door of her house,   on a seat at the highest point of the city,15 calling out to those who pass by,   who go straight on their way,16 “Let all who are simple come to my house!”  To those who have no sense she says,17 “Stolen water is sweet;   food eaten in secret is delicious!”18 But little do they know that the dead are there,   that her guests are deep in the realm of the dead.

This week, instead of writing code, I delegated it — to AI. I've been doing this a lot lately. But does that mean I am losing my ability to code? And what about people learning how to code? Is AI serving them, or does it block them from learning the real thing? Here's what's happening in software development, if it's even worth bothering with, and what new coders should know about AI.This episode is sponsored by Podscan.fmThe blog post: https://thebootstrappedfounder.com/the-evolution-of-coding-in-the-ai-era/The podcast episode: https://tbf.fm/episodes/the-evolution-of-coding-in-the-ai-eraCheck out Podscan to get alerts when you're mentioned on podcasts: https://podscan.fmSend me a voicemail on Podline: https://podline.fm/arvidYou'll find my weekly article on my blog: https://thebootstrappedfounder.comPodcast: https://thebootstrappedfounder.com/podcastNewsletter: https://thebootstrappedfounder.com/newsletterMy book Zero to Sold: https://zerotosold.com/My book The Embedded Entrepreneur: https://embeddedentrepreneur.com/My course Find Your Following: https://findyourfollowing.comHere are a few tools I use. Zach Abraham and I began the show with a disarming of memes. Sometimes I go to Democrat websites and see what memes are most popular and then dismantle them. I also presented to him the case of Mayor Pete as he tries to explain why electric car charging stations are taking so long to be installed given the massive cost to taxpayers. His answer is so ridiculous it makes the news show host laugh. And, I shared with Zach emails I have been getting in regards to last week's conversation about inflation being the silent killer of retirement portfolios. In response to these emails, we dive back into the topic of inflation and Zach shares valuable insight. What does God's Word say? Proverbs 9:1-12 Invitations of Wisdom and Folly9 Wisdom has built her house;    she has set up its seven pillars.2 She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine;    she has also set her table.3 She has sent out her servants, and she calls    from the highest point of the city,4     “Let all who are simple come to my house!”To those who have no sense she says,5     “Come, eat my food    and drink the wine I have mixed.6 Leave your simple ways and you will live;    walk in the way of insight.”7 Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults;    whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.8 Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you;    rebuke the wise and they will love you.9 Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still;    teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,    and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.11 For through wisdom your days will be many,    and years will be added to your life.12 If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you;    if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.Episode 1,633 Links:Pete Buttigieg has a VERY tough time trying to explain why "only 7 or 8 [electric vehicle] charging stations have been produced with the $7.5 BILLION investment that taxpayers made back in 2021"Al Gore: "If you look at all the new electricity generation installed worldwide last year 87% of it was renewables. It's the cheapest electricity in the history of the world. 1 in 5 vehicles are electric now and it's going to raise rapidly. Those trends are going to continue, but it's not enough and so the outcome of these elections in the US and elsewhere in the world this year really will make. It's important to make the changes we were talking about earlier about composting and all of these different, getting a heat pump and changing the light bulbs. But as important as it is to change the light bulbs, it's way more important to change the laws and the policies because that's really the solution..."

There are two good news stories to report. First, a New York appeals court judge rejected Donald Trump's attempt to stop his trial from beginning on April 15th. But; in a lesser-covered development; Judge Juan Merchan shared how some of the jury selection procedures will work. People often refer to Trump's New York prosecution as the "hush money" case. However Glenn and others refer to it as an "election interference" case: Trump criminally falsified business records to cover-up hush money payments to gain unfair advantage in the 2016 presidential election.Judge Merchan has revealed how he will instruct the jury on the "nature of the case" at the start of the trial: "The allegations are in substance, that Donald Trump falsified business records to conceal an agreement with others to unlawfully influence the 2016 presidential election." So indeed, the jury will be instructed that this is a case involving allegations that Trump interfered in the 2016 presidential election. If you're interested in supporting our all-volunteer efforts, you can become a Team Justice patron at: / glennkirschner If you'd like to support us and buy Team Justice and Justice Matters merchandise visit:https://shop.spreadshirt.com/glennkir...Check out Glenn's website at https://glennkirschner.com/Follow Glenn on:Threads: https://www.threads.net/glennkirschner2Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/glennkirschner2Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/glennkirschner2Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/glennkirsch...See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
