Gee and Tee are back again and discuss all the NRL news over the last couple of weeks. They discuss the serious and farcical situation that was the Manly Rainbow jersey and players refusing to play over a gesture of inclusiveness. They talk about their favourite NRL Chairman, Lee Hangipantelis from the Tigers, who threatened to sue the NRL over the Tigers loss, that would have them running 14th in the table, they discuss Tee irrationality about the Eels, Vape Gate at the Titans with Kevin Proctor, Benji Marshall trying to recruit everyone he ever played with and Scott Prince disappointed that he might be the only 2005 premiership winner without a job at the Tigers. Gee and Tee then talk about Bradman Best on the wing and the NRL loan system. @30:36 Gee and Tee breakdown round 19, the up and down Eels, the Roosters flogging yet another team, Raiders being a little too good for the Warriors, Sharks v Panthers and the loss of Jarome Luai, Souths being way too good for the Storm, The Bulldogs back to beign the entertainers and the Tigers robbed of a victory and Nanai scoring again. @56:45 Gee and Tee breakdown Round 20 and the understrength Manly v Roosters, as well as Warea-Hargreaves back to his shithousery best, Storm struggling to beat a poor Warriors team, the Nathan Cleary send off and the hot and cold Eels in one game, the Raiders winning again against the Titans, the spectacular play of Jayden Campbell, the tense game between the Sharks and the Rabbitohs, the Tigers outplaying the Broncos, the Bulldogs giving the big crowd at Newcastle some entertainment and the Dragons literally drinking too much Scott Drinkwater. @1:26:13 Gee and Tee preview Round 21 and give their tips.
This week Kevin Proctor was immediately sacked for vaping in the loo at halftime. Is this a sackable offence? Greats like Warney loved a smoke between innings, Cliffy Lyons, Neville Costigan and Darren Lockyer sounds like he smokes. Anyways, something for V'Landys and the Fair Work Commission to investigate.

In possibly the most insane, drama laden week in the history of the NRL we have some of the most significant issues facing the game on and off field in quite some considerable time. Sixties, Spiro and Forty20 head the news edition of The Tip Sheet to discuss all of it...and we mean all of it in one of the most charged episodes of the show. We kick off with the biggest headline in the game as the complex fallout from Manly's pride/inclusion jersey weighs heavy across the code and country. The boys look at how it all played out - from mismanagement and miscommunication to deeper issues and implications. The Titans have sacked Kevin Proctor after the backrower posted himself vaping at halftime in Round 19 to social media. Proctor was on a short leash after prior incidents and The Tip Sheet explores how the Titans are in the midst of a cultural crisis as they remain mired in mediocrity on the field. From there it is on to the judiciary where Corey Waddell and Dale Finucane both received length suspensions. Spiro contends that the tough Cronulla lock was hard done by while the panel were in consensus about the Waddell decision. After some NRL housekeeping, the show finally rolls on to the Parramatta Eels where a dive into the numbers shows that on both and team and individual level the Blue & Gold are below their best. Spiro applies the macro lens to the overall roster while Sixties looks at two underperforming members in the spine. All this culminates in a look at the game on Friday night where the Eels need to upset the Penrith Panthers in order to keep pace with a frenetic scramble for the Top 4.

Reaching 250 matches is irrelevant - Martin Devlin says there is no denying what Kevin Proctor did. The New Zealand international yesterday became the first player in the NRL's 112-year history to be sent off for biting, after the bunker ruled the Gold Coast captain sunk his teeth into Shaun Johnson's arm in the Titans' loss to Cronulla. With the base penalty for grade three dangerous contact being 500 demerit points, which equates to a five-match suspension, Proctor's facing a longer ban as the match review committee considers the incident to be of a higher grading than detailed in the NRL judiciary code. Many believe he'll be marched for the season. While Johnson is trying to brush it aside, Devlin says there is no excuses for what happened.LISTEN ABOVE

LISTEN ABOVE AS DALLIN WATENE-ZELEZNIAK TALKS WITH D'ARCY AND GORAN ABOVEFullback Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has today become one of the youngest captains in New Zealand rugby league history after being named to lead the Kiwis in Saturday's transtasman test against the Kangaroos at Mount Smart Stadium. The ascension to the captaincy is a triple celebration for the Hamilton-born Penrith Panthers star, who turned 23 in August. His appointment coincides with he and his wife Purdy's third wedding anniversary while Watene-Zelezniak emulates the achievement of his great grandfather Tipene (Steve) Watene, one of New Zealand rugby league's most revered figures. He was the first Maori to captain the Kiwis in 1936-1937 and the only person who has represented the New Zealand rugby league side and become a Member of Parliament."I was really humbled when Madge (Michael Maguire) offered me the chance to captain my country. It's a huge honour, especially following in my great grandfather's steps," said Watene-Zelezniak.His first test as captain will be the eighth of his career since debuting against the Kangaroos in Newcastle in 2016."Dallin lives the values we're looking for and embodies the new direction we're heading in with the Kiwis," said Kiwi head coach Michael Maguire.Of Maori heritage through his mother, Watene-Zelezniak is of Tongan and Polish extraction on his father's side. LISTEN TO MICHAEL MAGUIRE TALK WITH D'ARCY AND GORANFresh off winning the NRL premiership with the Sydney Rooster, young centre Joseph Manu is in line for a taste of the international stage. The 22-year-old from Tokoroa was one of five debutants named in Michael Maguire's Kiwis side of this month's match against the Kangaroos in Auckland and a three-match series against England at the end of the year. Second-rowers Corey Harawira-Naera (Penrith) and Isaiah Papali'i (Warriors), and Storm duo Brandon Smith and Jahrome Hughes are also in line to make their debuts. The squad gives a clear indication that Maguire has decided to look to the future, with 16 of the 23-man squad having fewer than 10 international caps, while only 11 of the team who played in the Denver Test against England earlier this year remain in the squad. The were some notable absences from the squad. Destructive Storm forward Nelson Asofa-Solomona suffered an ankle injury in Sunday night's Grand Final and was expected to be sidelined for up to 10 weeks. Roosters forward Zane Tetevano also missed out on the squad after being injured in the Grand Final. A player will be added later to take the remaining spot left by their injuries.Issac Luke, Tohu Harris and Dally M medallist Roger Tuivasa-Sheck are also not with the team."This is a new era for the Kiwis and that's again reflected in the make-up of this squad as it was for the Denver Test," Maguire said."A lot of experienced players have moved on in recent years in the shape of Simon Mannering, Thomas Leuluai, Manu Vatuvei, Jason Nightingale, Ben Matulino, Kieran Foran, Russell Packer and others."For us it's really exciting bringing in these new players as we strive to take the national side to the place we want it to be. That starts with the Test against the Kangaroos."Kiwis: Gerard Beale, Leeson Ah Mau, Adam Blair, Jahrome Hughes*, Jamayne Isaako, Jesse Bromwich, Shaun Johnson, Joseph Manu*, Esan Marsters, Ken Maumalo, Kodi Nikorima, Jordan Rapana, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Kenneath Bromwich, James Fisher-Harris, Isaac Liu, Isaiah Papali'i*, Kevin Proctor, Brandon Smith*, Joseph Tapine, Martin Taupau, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.* - uncapped players.
On a special THURSDAY episode, Kevin Proctor kicks off season seven of the HSFF Hour when he chats with hosts Eric Balkman and David A. Gerczak. Proctor discusses his early targets in both the Footballguys Players Championship and FFPC Best Ball Leagues along with which players could see their values spike or fall in the 2018 Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) Main Event as the summer gets deeper. Gerczak makes an impassioned plea for Jaylen Samuels, and Balkman opines on whether there is a bounce-back player like Todd Gurley was last season. And the guys answer your calls, tweets, emails and more all on The High Stakes Fantasy Football Hour!
Greetings Two Shot Podcast listeners and welcome to another episode. The actor, writer and filmmaker Tim Plester is our guest this week. We met up with Tim in Soho (big shout out to Kevin Proctor again for the recording space) and chatted about national variants of the school yard cry of disbelief "chinny", wayward school days and morris dancing amongst a myriad of other things. You may know Tim from his work in Game of Thrones, or from his documentary films The Way Of The Morris and The Ballad Of Shirley Collins. He's a brilliant talker and we're sure you'll enjoy listening in to this particularly free-flowing hour or so. We were nominated for a prestigious British Podcast award last week in the 'Best Culture Podcast' category and we're very proud. It's now up to a panel of expert judges but there's another category that we could do with your help in: The 'Listeners' Choice Award'. In this episode we chat in-studio with Iconic Guitars founder Kevin Proctor about his line-up of custom guitars, how he got started as a builder, what inspires his designs and what separates his customs from standard production models and other custom shops. Many of Kevin's guitars are modeled after famous iconic players' axes and we take a look (and listen) to some of the Strat-styles inspired by David Gilmour, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Mark Knopfler.
