Content Warning: This episode contains discussions of drugs, alcohol, bullying and suicide. Constance Hall might be the most bullied woman in Australia, all because she started sharing her real and raw life in online blogs. Today she shares how trolls sent her to her lowest point and how she came back from it and learned to combat them. As well as how she now wants to make more support for victims. Plus she also opens up about life being raised by her parents in a rather unconventional way. Last week, we had one of the most accomplished athletes of all time come to Western Colorado University for our Blister Speaker Series. And it was quite an opportunity to get to pick the brain of Courtney Dauwalter and get her thoughts on life and the limits we tend to place on ourselves; her approach to training and competition; how she goes about setting goals; and more.Ultimately, while we've watched Courtney's staggering achievements as she crosses finish line after finish line, setting new course records and accomplishing the seemingly impossible along the way, this conversation makes it clear that her achievements are very much mental victories, and there are takeaways in this conversation that each of us would do well to absorb and implement into our own lives.RELATED LINKS:Join Us! Today I wanted to share a candid convo on how I've been, what I've learned and how much I have grown in the year since I graduated from law school and in my first 8 months of practicing and owning my own businesses. I officially graduated on May 21 but I couldn't wait to share anymore. I've been doing a lot of reflecting (if you follow me on socials you know) and seeing some college friends and having heart to hearts 5-6 years later really just made me look inward and I felt called to make an episode all about it. What a year it has been! From lessons in love and relationships to business, career and networking to confidence and mindset, I truly feel that I am in the best place I have ever been in my life and while there is still so much for me to grow and heal from and learn, I am happier than I maybe have ever been. Also episode 80! I started this podcast my 3L fall and now almost 2 years later I have chronicled so much of my life and growth on here with you guys, thank you for being a part of it. It is because of this platform that I have really developed this confidence and learned so many of these lessons, getting to invite inspirational guests to hear their stories has encouraged me to keep pursuing my own and its this that has propelled it all. All that to say I'm just getting started and I can't wait to continue to share it here and see where I'm at in 6 months. Here's to the next chapter! A lot of people have been asking how'd I get to where I am today. My journey for personal growth and self-development started in 2018 when I first discovered his content. Here's the thing... there's a lot of ways to make money. Money should never be the end goal, although it's nice and helps. The keyword here is to become a person of value. Find out what you're good at and double down on that. Jack of All Trades, a Master of None. Steve Harvey has an infamous saying that "Your Gift is the Thing You Do Best with the Least Amount of Effort". Write things down and put them on paper. Here are a few thing's that helped change my life and I hope they'll help you. Major VS Minor Movement VS Achievements Don't let your Mouth Overload Your Back Always Do More than You're Paid for Find Out How Thing's Work Repetition, Repetition, Repetition Learn to Say No I am blessed to be where I am today and looking back on where I came from, it's something I'd never imagine I'd be 10 years ago. When I visit his grave in March 2021, it was one of the most astonishing experiences I've ever had. Thank you, Jim Rohn, may you forever rest in peace.
Hello, this is AJ. Welcome to the POV stories for "The Art of Power." Let's start. Since 2002 Sally has craved chocolate. She has wanted it every day, every hour of her life since 2002. She has become, unfortunately, super fat because she has craved chocolate so much. So Sally, since 2002, has become super fat because she has craved chocolate every day and every hour. Now, of course, during this time she has wanted to lose weight. She has wanted to lose weight all this time. Every day she has thought about it. Every day she has thought, oh, I want to lose weight. In fact, every day she has tried to suppress her craving for chocolate. She has tried to push down the craving. She has tired to pretend that she didn't crave chocolate. But, of course, this suppression has failed. It has always failed. In fact, one day it failed in a huge way, it was a super big failure one day. Because one day she saw a candy bar in the store and the candy bar triggered her craving and she bought 4,000 chocolate candy bars. She ate all of them in one day. So on that day she stopped trying to suppress her craving. Instead she decided to study yoga. And she went to a yoga studio and she studied yoga. By studying yoga she learned discipline and diligence. And because she learned diligence her chocolate cravings lessened. They got weaker and weaker, until one day they became totally dormant, totally asleep, totally quiet. Her chocolate cravings became dormant. And after that she ate only wholesome, healthy food. And because she ate only wholesome food she became thinner and thinner. In fact, she became a thin, gorgeous and sexy cow. And so all the male cows wanted her, they her because she was thin, gorgeous and sexy. Okay, that's the end of our first POV story. Next we go into the future. You already know this, so let's do it! Let's start. In the future there will be a cow and her name will be Sarah. Sarah is going to crave chocolate. She's going to crave chocolate every minute, every hour of every day. Of course, she'll become super fat. Sarah the cow will be a super fat cow because she's going to crave chocolate.

Guest Bio: I'm a professional hair and makeup stylist, actress, reality TV star, and health, beauty, and wellness educator. I love kombucha, Kirkland-brand microwave popcorn, taking naps, and helping women feel beautiful from the inside out. I believe in the power of truth and honesty, and I have found that as I get real and honest with people, they are free to get real and honest right back.I'm a free spirit, but I'm grounded in who I am. I'm light-hearted and love to laugh, but I love diving into things that are deep and profound. I've found my own way of keeping this balance in love, life, and beauty, and it's my passion to encourage other women to do the same.I've always worked in the world of beauty. A professional hair and makeup stylist by trade, I started at the Estée Lauder counter at Macy's and went on to freelance for Bobbi Brown, Mac, Laura Mercier, Paula Dorff, TiGi, and Biotherm. After discovering my passion for making women feel beautiful, I decided to further my education and went on to graduate from Hairitage College of Beauty where I became licensed as a professional cosmetologist.I started acting and modeling when I was just 14 years old, and my very first gig was the lead in a Backstreet Boys music video. Click here to check it out! (You're welcome.) I have since worked in print, film, and television with brands like Reebok, MasterCard, and Sports Illustrated. I've been on screen in films like Midway to Heaven, InHumane, and By Any Means. I also spent three years as a regular host on Utah's #1 daily talk show, Good Things Utah, where you can still find me filling in from time to time. Perhaps most notably, you may know me as one of the most recognized cast members from ABC's The Bachelor franchise!
In a new report for BBC Russia, journalist Pyotr Kozlov profiles Dmitry Medvedev's political life since losing his job as prime minister in January 2020. "Roughly two dozen sources at the highest echelons of the Russian government" mostly told Kozlov that Medvedev has been unhappy in his new position as deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council. The former Russian president has apparently been busy trying to make a comeback, albeit without much success. Meduza summarizes what BBC Russia discovered.
