For the first time, I'm finally telling my story—a story of how alcohol slowly destroyed my life, leaving me physically and mentally powerless, addicted & suicidal. I used to be a weekend-only drinker, fully focused on my career but one "hair of the dog" turned into drinking all week and, before I knew it, I was trapped in alcoholism. I was among the 9% of people with alcohol use disorder classified as chronic and severe—it consumed me entirely. Today, I share my story to give hope. If you feel like you've sunk so low that there's no way out, know that recovery is possible. A life beyond your wildest dreams awaits. A huge thank you to guest host Issy Hawkins, who took charge of my podcast and put me in the hot seat. Bueno, ¿y cómo empiezo a innovar? Of course, my horse!

Jacqueline Chow is intensely curious and always has a plan. Key to her success has been the willingness and integrity to share the plan with those around her! Together we discuss the role great sponsors played in her career by expertly guiding her to stay close to where the economic value was created in business. She shares the deeply personal experience of working for a leader where the “chemistry” was off and how after trying everything she could to “fix” things, it felt silly to stay any longer. This experience took 18 months to recover from. As Jacq said, we join an organisation and leave an individual. We discuss what inspires her, and what she looks for when recruiting a CEO. Jacq is a non-executive director of Boral, Charter Hall, Coles Group and nib holdings. She has over twenty-years operational experience running large, blue-chip multinationals, including Fonterra, Arnotts & Kellogs across Asia Pacific, the US and Latin America. Aprender no debe darnos miedo, debe emocionarnos.

Ohne Framing kein Verkauf!

Cloud computing powers most of the digital services you use today. Listen to this podcast episode to learn what it is and why it matters. Learning notes from this episode: The cloud computing is expecting huge growth: the total cloud computing market is estimated to be reach $1,614 by 2030 from $545 billion in 2022, according to Precedence Research. Before the advent of cloud computing, technology companies would have had to have their own servers to store data and run computations. Having your own servers is very expensive because you have to pay to keep them secure keep them cool keep them running 24 /7 and pay high electricity costs have a space to keep them maintain them with the help of a specialist Cloud computing means that companies do not have to buy and maintain their own servers. Instead, they can just rent space on another company's servers.  You can just pay for what you use and expand as you grow.  This is a picture of servers ran by a cloud computing company. Before cloud computing, businesses would have had to have own these things and maintain them at their own premises - a huge cost and a headache. Amazon launched cloud computing as a service in 2006, and remains the biggest player in the market today. It counts Netflix, Disney, the UK Ministry of Justice, Kellogs, Guardian News and Media, and the European Space Agency as its customers. Cloud computing is relevant to every industry: if you are storing data and using it to make decisions, you need to know about cloud computing.  The advent of cloud computing drove down the risk of innovation and spurred the creation of start-ups and the VCs funding them. Without cloud computing digital innovation was only available to those who could pay and maintain servers. The three biggest players in the cloud computing market are: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and IBM Cloud.   (Source: Statista) Join our next FREE Masterclass on 30 November 2022, 12 pm EST / 5 pm GMT How to Become a Digital Leader You will learn: The top mistake non-technical leaders make when it comes to tech Leadership case studies from Netflix & Microsoft How to go from traditional business manager to Digital Leader SIGN UP HERE   Listen here on Apple Podcasts Listen here on Spotify ----- If you like learning about how tech products and profits get made, you'll like our newsletter. She has worked with clients like Target, Kellogs, Disney, McDonalds, (RED), Cadillac and more.During this episode we talk about:-her experience politely pointing out to a fellow artist that she felt they were crossing the line from being inspired by Danielle's work, to copying, and how it turned into a really tough situation for her. -her writing for WorkingNotWorking Magazine.-a project she was a part of where the service of others was missed, the focus was only on making it look good, and what that caused.-the exhibit that sent her off on a personal project that involved a lot of R&D and testing to create, and the results of that. Hint, it involves Jello. There is so much in the episode. Danielle has a very unique career that comes with very unique challenges and she is open and honest about sharing them all. @marmaladebleue
