Les Femmes s'emparent d'ELAB, notre programme estival dédié aux femmes DJs, devient une émission mensuelle sur C Lab, en parallèle d'Électro Lab. Dans ce numéro, nous recevons le duo rennais Valise pour un voyage dans les grooves du monde !Pour ce nouveau numéro on reçoit le duo rennais Valise, composé de Sarah et Audrey. Elles ont commencé à mixer il y a à peu près deux ans et ont déjà pu faire quelques dates sympa dans des bars, à une soirée Paradisco à l’Espace (Rennes) et dans un festival privé. Pendant la disette sanitaire elles n’ont pas chômé puisqu’elles ont sorti pas mal de podcasts : pour les collectifs rennais Chevreuil et Interval, pour Radio Sofa à Paris, et pour le collectif féministe berlinois BLVSH. Des disques plein la Valise, elles passent à présent sur nos ondes pour les remplir de bonnes vibes.Le set :Pour construire ce set, on savait qu’on voulait partir sur des musiques du monde et on voulait se mettre à l’épreuve en le faisant full vinyles,  une première pour nous. Dans ce set, vous pouvez retrouver Belpaese, un label qu’on adore, découvert en achetant des vinyles sur Discogs. Ce sont des sonorités italiennes qui nous plaisent particulièrement en ce moment et qui se marient vraiment bien avec notre style. On voudrait aussi parler de Rabo et Snob, un duo israëlien également présent dans le set. C’est notre découverte de l'année, un gros coup de cœur !Des modèles d'artistes femmes ?"Pour les artistes femmes, on est en admiration devant Jayda G, et particulièrement sa Boiler Room au Dekmantel ou sa selecta est folle et sa prestation ultra dynamique. On est aussi bercées depuis notre enfance par de grandes dames comme Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, et elles continuent aujourd’hui à nous inspirer et à nous passionner."< LES FEMMES S'EMPARENT D'ELAB >Passées une centaine d'émissions sur C Lab, il a bien fallu se rendre à l'évidence : les femmes manquent cruellement à nos micros. Sur les 35 émissions réalisées l'année dernière, seulement quatre DJs femmes... Un constat qui fait mal à la scène bretonne, pourtant super-active et fière de l'être.Cette année, afin de commencer à notre niveau, local et associatif, à contrer cette tendance structurelle de manque de visibilité des artistes femmes qui se reflète, bien malgré nous, dans notre programmation, nous avons décidé de lancer une émission mensuelle dédiée exclusivement à des femmes DJs.
