For years, I thought nutrition had to be all or nothing… you either perfectly tracked your food, followed a strict diet, or you were "failing." I spent so much time overthinking every meal, trying to find the “perfect” way to eat, only to end up feeling stressed, guilty, and frustrated.I thought true health meant rigid rules, obsessive tracking, and pushing myself to stick to the latest diet trend. But the truth? Nutrition should be about fueling your body, building strength, and creating habits that support your life, not controlling every bite.In today's episode, I'm answering your top nutrition questions: from intermittent fasting, to how to actually hit your protein goals, to healing your relationship with food in a way that feels empowering, not exhausting. If you've ever struggled with overcomplicating nutrition, feeling lost with protein targets, or rebuilding trust with your body, this episode is for you!I Also Discuss:(00:00) Nutrition Myths You Still Believe (and What Actually Works)(07:41) How Much Protein You REALLY Need (Without Going Crazy)(16:17) Healing Your Relationship With Food (Without Strict Diets)(18:07) Navigating Sobriety When Your Partner Still Drinks(24:47) Why Broads Is Different: Strength Over ScalThank You to Our Sponsors:Broads App – Get structured, progressive training and a powerhouse community to keep you strong, consistent, and unstoppable. An interesting development earlier today.Prince WIlliam pulled out of attending the memorial service this morning for his godfather King Constantine of Greece. The ceremony took place at Windsor Castle, half a mile from William and Kate's residence at Adelaide Cottage.William had been scheduled to deliver a reading during the ceremony. However, Prince Pavlos, the son of King Constantine, stepped in to fulfill the role. It is reported that William personally contacted the Greek royal family to inform them of his inability to participate.Prince William's office did not say why the change of plans, other than it's a "personal matter". They did say Kate continues to be "doing well".It's hard to not let the mind race as to what could have led William to change plans.Prior to the Tuesday change of schedule. Royal Author Rachel Hawkins took to social media on Monday and noted she did “not want to speculate about a woman's health online,” Hawkins noted that “everything that is happening with Kate M is indeed very, very weird ... unprecedented, even.”"It's been two months since anyone has seen her," "We're missing even basic acknowledgments like 'I appreciate the well-wishes' from her."It's worth noting that we've received individual statements from William using his personal emblem. Communications regarding her have always been under the joint [Prince and Princess of Wales] standard."We will release additional bonus episodes if more news on William becomes available.(END)

The ICEJ is hosting two gala dinners to celebrate Israel's 75th Anniversary in May 2023, and today we want to discuss why. When commemorating this anniversary, we are celebrating a miracle of God. Israel's birth was against all odds in 1948. Her survival throughout 75 years of war and terrorism has been astounding. However, Israel has not just survived—she is thriving and emerging as a world leader. In addition to Israel's miraculous story, millions of Christians will celebrate because they visited Israel and had the life-changing experience of their Bible come alive, and their faith ignited. For these two reasons alone, there is great cause for Christians to join the Jewish community in marking this historic occasion.

Auckland Council CEO Jim Stabback resigned halfway through his five year term for personal reasons. Stabback began the role in 2020, and it is understood that there has been conflict between him and the mayor since Wayne Brown won the mayoralty last October. NZ Herald Super City reporter Bernard Orsman says Jim Stabback has not commented any explanation beyond 'personal reasons' for his resignation. Bernard Orsman has observed that there has been tension between Stabback and Brown on both sides, but that doesn't signify that the mayor had a hand in Stabback resigning. TW: in this episode I will touch on themes of abuse so please skip to the next episode if that's not something you want to hear today. In the mid 1980s, Sinéad O'Connor was just getting started with her music career, and a record exec asked her to consider growing her hair long and start wearing short skirts ‘like a girl' as a way of ‘selling' her music. The next day she walked into a barbershop and asked a young barber to make her look ‘like a boy.' In this episode I break down the reasons Sinéad gave for her cutting her hair - reasons that changed between the '90s and when she later appeared on popular TV show Dr Phil in 2017. Many crazy things are said about Evangelicals demonstrating general confusion over the term and the people it describes. Most Evangelical Christians don't know what one is much less our Jewish friends attempting to relate to us. In this final episode on Jews and Christians Learning to Relate we define the term Evangelical, clarify how many there are, and discuss what unites and divides us. We also discuss Evangelical Christians' support of Israel.

Will God answer your prayer if you don't end with, "In Jesus' name, Amen?" Learn what praying in the name of Jesus really means. I taught this week on the call of Abraham and the development of God's missionary call through the nation of Israel as they were responsible to communicate the truth of God to the cultures around them. They were given that great commission. The great commission didn't start in Matthew 28. It started with Abraham in Genesis 12 —the first three verses there —Abraham, chosen by God to raise up a nation who would then be God's priests to the world so that they would be a blessing to all of the nations. They had a unique role in the great monotheistic religion. The Jews were supposed to reflect morality to the world. Israel was to witness to the name of God. When they talked about the name of God and witnessing to God's name, that does not mean that they were to let everybody know what they called God, "Yahweh." Their goal wasn't to cover the countryside with evangelists who just let everybody know what the right word for God was. It meant something different. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ https://linktr.ee/jacksonlibon --------------------------------------------------- #realtalk #face #instagram #SDF #SYNDICAT #DESPUTES #amour #take #couple #dance #dancers #vogue #voguedqnce #garden #tiktok #psychology #beyou #near #love #foryou #money #ForYouPizza #fyp #irobot #theend #pups #TikToker #couplegoals #famille #relation #doudou #youtube #twitter #tiktokers #love #reeĺs #shorts #instagood #follow #like #ouy #oyu #babyshark #lilnasx #girl #happybirthday #movie #nbayoungboy #deviance #autotrader #trading #khan #academy #carter #carguru #ancestry #accords #abc #news #bts #cbs #huru #bluebook #socialmedia #whatsapp #music #google #photography #memes #marketing #india #followforfollowback #likeforlikes #a #insta #fashion #k #trending #digitalmarketing #covid #o #snapchat #socialmediamarketing¹

Millions of Christians have visited Israel and had the life-transforming experience of their Bible coming alive. They returned home appreciative of the warm welcome they had received, the freedom of access to the Christian sites they enjoyed, as well as Israel's care and preservation of those sites and their archaeological artifacts. Tourism is not the only reason for Christians to support Israel—the Christian minority in Israel is flourishing unlike in the rest of the Middle East. For all these reasons every Christian should be appreciative and support the Jewish State.

Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported that Jamal Adams will miss mini-camp due to personal reasons and the Seahawks have excused his absence. Does trading so much for a guy that needs a new deal put you in a bad negotiating position? The Rams did this with Jalen Ramsey last year and made him the highest paid DB in football. Paul asks the question, is there any argument for not extending Jamal Adams? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In Episode 10 we talk about the departure of Eslabon Armado's armonia; Gabriel. Brian Tovar (Eslabon's bass player) states in a Instagram post that he left for “personal reasons”. Fans quickly begin to speak on the topic leading to more reason why he could have left. Eslabon Armados fans state that wasn't why he left and felt that he “was not appreciated and is left out”. As all these crazy rumors spread, Lead singer Pedro Tovar goes live to speak on the reason he left. Pedro says the real reason for his departure is because he recently bought a house in Los Angles for his family, which mean Gabriel would be distant from the group because he is 6-7 hours away from Los Angles. Pedro says that Gabriel was not too happy considering we would be far away from the rest of the group. In conclusion, distance was the reason for his departure from the group. Next, we also talk about Grupo Firme over selling concert tickets! People were unhappy because they had to watch the concert from outside the venue. Also Galvancillo and Guero MP, are not friends anymore. Galvancillo post a tiktok video where he shows that Guero MP blocks him from Instagram. Galvancillo is confused as to why he was blocked and stated to the public that he did nothing to cause this. Galvancillo is affected by this and also stated he “ always defended him”.

The time for a Kyrie Irving rant has come. After finally getting to choose his destiny as a basketball player and landing in BKN, many people thought that Kyrie's disrespect of his teammates and general toxic locker room antics would end. Instead, he has missed the last 5(!) games due to Personal Reasons, and has been spotted partying without a mask and giving Zoom lecture talks instead of playing basketball. The attitude has been impossible to root for, and we rant a bit about him this episode. With the recent news of James Harden becoming a Brooklyn Net, and the bench being even weaker than it was before, Brooklyn desperately needs Kyrie to suit up again if they want to make the NBA Finals, and make this trade worth it. Citing personal reasons, BC Auditor General, Carol Bellringer, has suddenly announced her resignation, effective December 31st. She's been in that job for five years. Just last week, she issued a report citing weaknesses and gaps in how expenses are dealt with in the offices of Speaker Daryl Plecas, the Clerk, and the Sergeant at Arms in the BC Legislature. She says in some instances there was no policy, but in others policies were ignored. That report indicated spending by the Speaker's Office has tripled under Plecas. Rick Body’s SMACC Chicago talk 'Is compassion a Patients Right?' takes us on a journey of emotions in critical care. Starting with his rendition of john Lennons ‘Love’. Body, explains the origin of the word compassion - a move to act based on someone else suffering, a sharing of suffering with. Body, initially focuses on a study conducted within his hospital of 125 patients, who were interviewed when admitted to their emergency department and when they where discharged. From the study it was depicted that, what patients truely wanted was simple human intervention; reassurance, friendliness, explanation, basic care. These responses were then coded into 5 different themes to depict how patients believe their suffering should be addressed; 1. Emotional distress 2. Physical symptoms - including pain (but not restricted to) 3. Information - Included reassurance and explanation 4. Care - Basic care 5. Closure - patients want to put this horrible episode behind them Body notes that patients are telling us that they want something positive from us. They don’t want us to focus on what we shouldn’t do. They want us to be thinking about what we can do to help… suggesting that if we follow the above ‘EPPIC' we could provide more compassionate care. The problem is this is not compassion as compassion is an emotion and needs to be felt. Body then explores whats stopping us (care providers) from showing compassion? Sighting the The Good Smaritian Study: that depicts the more in a rush one is the less likely they are to show compassion. The By Standers Affect: if a large crowd is doing nothing, you are more likely to do nothing. Unclear of Who is Responsible: less likely for anyone to respond and Personal Reasons: the responsibility for other peoples lives, fatigue, tough, resilient to showing emotion, emotion been seen as a weakness and a feeling as doctors we are not meant to show emotions. Body, then shows a picture of a doctor crouched slumped over and inconsolable, shortly after the image was taken the doctor loses a 19 year old patient he was treating and minutes later the he walks back into the emergency room and continues working. This picture went viral on social media and the doctor pictured was seen as admorable. Body sites this example to state that clearing having compassion and showing compassion is right, but is it a right?. And, asks the question 'Would you prefer the surgeon who shaking with emotion as you go into surgery or the surgeon who is composed, objective, calm, tough, resilient, unmovable and efficiently get on with the task in hand?'. Body believes that patients don’t have a right to compassion as it is an emotion and means to suffer with but asks for health providers to be emotionally intelligent. Explaining that emotional Intelligence recognises that there is a difference between traditional intelligence, IQ and our ability to form effective forms of interpersonal relationships. Siting the 5 domains of emotions intelligence as; 1. Know your emotions - know what we are feeling 2. Manage your emotions - cool rational and object in the rests room, show emotion with patients and family 3. Motivating ones self 4. Recognising emotions in others - empathy 5. Handling Relationships - interpersonal Skills - relate to other people Body suggest that these are skills that can be developed as ones life goes on and by building skills in emotional intelligence that maybe one can be both a compassionate and effective doctor. Body concludes by asking the question 'How are you going to care more for your patients?'
Welcome! We are wrapping up our series on Power Sales Questions that we have covered during June. We have discussed Three Power Questions and how important they are: The Columbo Approach—Learn when and how to use it! The Plus/Minus Question—Find out what’s going well/what’s NOT going well. The Price Question—Find out how the client evaluates price. Now, we move to the GROUND ZERO QUESTION, which is the personal level question—the fourth of our Power Sales Questions. Why is this important? We have to earn the right to ask questions on a personal level and find out what matters to the customer on a personal level. Remember, “People buy for PERSONAL REASONS, and they justify for BUSINESS REASONS.” **WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER TO BE A PERSONAL HOME RUN FOR YOU? This question can take on different forms depending on the type of sales business: If we were to work together, a year from now . . . If we were successful in this bid process . . . If we were assigned to this project . . . If everything went as you want it to go . . . When this project is complete . . . What the customer tells us in answer to this question becomes our PRIMARY GOAL, so they will look to do business with us in the future. I’ve used this question for close to 15 years with clients, and found it benefits me in the following ways: It helps me control the conversation. It gives me lots of valuable information about my customer. It allows them to talk about their business. It helps avoid the “Show Up and Throw Up” disease. Listener Question of the Week: What do you do to avoid the inevitable summer “slowdowns”? Find out what is going with your customers over the summer. Find out which contact people are gone on vacation and when. Find out what you can do to serve them best before, during, and after their vacation. If possible, send a gift to them while they are on vacation if you know where they will be. Quote of the Week: “People don’t ask for facts in making up their minds. They would rather have one good, soul-satisfying emotion than a dozen facts.” Robert Keith Leavit
