Coach Colin Shannon, In this episode, you'll hear from Coach Colin Shannon. Coach Shannon is currently the Director of Basketball Operations for Coach Greg Kampe at Oakland University. This is a pretty cool conversation. For starters, Coach Shannon is only 24 years old. However, I truly believe that his story can IMPACT some younger coaches. If you are a Student Manager or a Graduate Assistant or thinking about entering the world of college basketball, then this is conversation for you! Coach Shannon has been with the Oakland Basketball Program since 2016, holding roles in the following capacities: Student Manager, Assistant Video Coordinator, and Graduate Assistant. He also talks about his time as both a student manager and the the head freshman and junior varsity basketball coach at Royal Oak Shrine High School from 2016 to 2020. I am so appreciative that Coach Shannon helped coordinate past podcasts with Coach Covington, Coach Jones and Coach Smith. Without his help, I would have not been able to come to Oakland and tell their coaching stories. In conclusion, I applaud Coach Colin on many levels. To have the amount of loyalty, love and passion for Coach Kampe, his co-workers, the players at Oakland, and this university is really inspiring. Finally, you will hear that Coach Shannon truly wants to coach and he is no doubt making a lasting impact with Coach Kampe's program. This episode of Voices from the Field continues a conversation between Dr. Sam Fuhlendorf of Oklahoma State University and NCAT Grazing Specialist Linda Poole about using grazing to bolster, rather than unintentionally harm, desirable wildlife on farms and ranches. Many regenerative ranchers use mob grazing – dense herds of livestock grazing a place for a very brief time before moving on – to increase grass production and improve soil health. It has been a successful strategy for graziers around the world, but often also affects bird populations and other wildlife.Sam and Linda talk about the role of fire in range management and the positive effect it can have for wildlife. They also discuss applying range management strategies on smaller operations and regionally. ATTRA Resources: · Grazing with Wildlife in Mind. Part 1· For the Love of the Wild. Linda Barutha joins Kristy Yoder on today's episode of the Master Delegator Podcast. Linda spent her career in corporate IT before becoming an online marketing strategist. Today, Linda shares her entrepreneurial journey as a CEO and why it is important to understand your role in your company to delegate to a virtual assistant efficiently and effectively.Your Virtual Assistant Is Not Your Business Coach Many entrepreneurs think that bringing a Virtual Assistant means having them do their company's strategy or business-oriented processes. They don't realize that the Virtual Assistant's job is to represent all of their ideas as the business owner and leader. Since everything your VA does is merely the behind-the-scenes work for your business, it is your responsibility as their leader to support them and ensure they can succeed. To do this, you should communicate your company's needs and wants, teach them your procedures, and give them feedback.About Linda BaruthaLinda Barutha has been a business owner for over 20 years. She did brick-and-mortar, Freelance Website Design, and Graphic Design until she discovered online marketing and became obsessed with SEO.Throughout her career, she has seen many people devote all of their marketing efforts to social media platforms without seeing any results. Coach Jeff Smith, In this episode, you'll hear from Coach Jeff Smith. Coach Smith is currently the Associate Head Coach for Coach Greg Kampe at Oakland University. And, everyone knows Coach Jeff as simply Smitty! Coach Smith was named the Associate Head Coach in August 2019. Before joining Coach Kampe and his incredible coaching staff, Coach Smitty spent the previous seven seasons as an assistant coach at Central Michigan University for Coach Keno Davis. This is Coach Smitty's second stint at Oakland. He was on the sidelines for the Golden Grizzlies as an Assistant Coach and Associate Head Coach for five sessions. And, Coach Smitty was part of a win in the 2005 NCAA Tournament. I am very eager for you to hear the amazing things that Smitty has to say about Coach Kampe. A former player and a graduate of Alma College, Smitty got his start as an assistant coach at Albion College from 1995 to 1997. He then joined the CMU program as a graduate assistant in 1997 and was promoted to assistant coach two years later. As you soon will hear, Coach Jay Smith played a major part in getting Smitty started in college coaching. Coach Smitty also worked as an assistant on Coach Jim Boylen's staff at Utah from 2007-11. I love our conversation. For starters, if you are a young coach who has been told that you can't make it in this business - then this is the conversation for you. Coach Smitty was driven to prove so many people wrong. And, he has accomplished this. There is also a level of reflection from Coach Smith that is truly incredible and inspiring. Finally, the tips that Coach Smith shares about recruiting, teaching and creating genuine relationships are simply excellent. The first global financial crisis erupted in the autumn of 1987 on a day known as “Black Monday.” A chain reaction of market distress sent stock exchanges around the world plummeting in a matter of hours. In the United States, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 22.6 percent in a single trading session, a loss that remains the largest one-day stock market decline in history. At the time, it marked the sharpest market downturn in the United States since the Great Depression. In today's video we look at the causes of the 1987 crash, discuss program trading and portfolio insurance and how the crash forever changes stock markets around the world.Patrick's Books:Statistics For The Trading Floor: https://amzn.to/3eerLA0Derivatives For The Trading Floor: https://amzn.to/3cjsyPFCorporate Finance: https://amzn.to/3fn3rvCPatreon Page: https://www.patreon.com/PatrickBoyleOnFinanceVisit our website: www.onfinance.orgFollow Patrick on Twitter Here: https://twitter.com/PatrickEBoylePatrick Boyle YouTube ChannelStories and Strategies for Public RelationsCommunication is in every facet of our daily business.Listen on: Apple Podcasts Spotify Support the show

Outsourcing Your Entire Podcast TeamBeing an expert in Podcast Production, Edwin Frondozo knows that he can't do everything alone. In this episode, Edwin shares how he became an expert by outsourcing his entire podcast production team and how he does it. KEY TAKEAWAYSThe first step is to list down all the tasks needed in the podcast production.Second, when you are done with the list of tasks, you can group the required skill-set; for audio, you need an audio engineer, a manager for the whole team, and an SEO expert to optimize your podcast show notes. Remember not just to hire one person to do everything in your production. It's always better to hire someone knowledgeable in specific tasks. The third step is not letting your team do everything without guiding them. You need to share your ideas and experiences with your team, teach them what you know, and vice versa; they will give their take on tasks based on their expertise. Teaching and showing your team how you want the task done by recording yourself and sending it to them also saves you time instead of going on the task every time you delegate.About Edwin FrondozoBefore becoming the co-founder and CEO of Slingshot VoIP, Edwin worked at IBM Canada and Nortel Networks within the sales and marketing organizations. He provided key insights on the business and technical benefits of the respective product lines he represented. Now, Edwin hosts The Business Leadership Podcast & Lives series, where he interviews many influential business leaders in North America about best practices and lessons learned in building a brand, creating high-performance teams, and innovating an entire industry.Learn more about her here:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/edwinfrondozo/ Website: https://www.slingshotvoip.com/ Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/edwin100x Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/edwin100x/ Are you in need of any assistance?
