Today, we begin our study on the prison epistle of Colossians. Colossians is located about 100 miles east of Ephesus. The church here was primarily composed of Gentiles. This epistle to the Colossians is one of four “Prison Epistles” along with Ephesians, Philippians and Philemon. According to Colossians 4:16, this epistle was to be read to the neighboring church of Laodicea, and a letter that was written to the Laodicea's (not included in the canon of Scripture) was to be read to the saints at Colosse.Paul wrote all of these epistles during his first imprisonment while he was in Rome awaiting trial before Ceasar. Internal evidence suggests that though Paul had not visited Colosse (2:1), Timothy and Epaphras (1:7) had evangelized the city and founded the church during Paul's 3 year stay in Ephesus while on his third missionary journey. The epistle was written to combat certain heretical teachings that had crept into the church and have never gone away! We will address these heresies as we go through this powerful epistle. These false teachings were Gnosticism; Legalism, Mysticism and secular philosophy. False teachers also denied the deity of Jesus Christ. They taught that He was a created being and not the Creator Himself. They taught a false gospel of salvation via works or rituals or sacramentalism as opposed to the true gospel of His all-sufficient atonement for sin that grants salvation to sinners by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, not of works or ritual lest any man should boast. What is said about Jesus Christ in chapter 1 reveals His preeminence over all creation and every created being and not only exposes as heresy, but renders useless all worldly, secular philosophies. It puts the nail in the coffin of legalism and every any any religious “ism”. Mysticism. Asceticism. Protestantism. Catholicism. Hinduism. Buddhism. Islam. Mormonism. Glory to God for the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is only because of the redemption that is in His blood, that we have forgiveness of sin and fellowship with God. See what the saints in heaven declare in Revelation 5:9. In and through Christ alone, we are delivered from the power of darkness. In and through Christ alone, we have peace with God. In and through Christ alone, we are translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son!! In this letter, we also learn that among the glorious mysteries of our faith in Scripture is the mystery of Jesus Christ, the hope of glory, dwelling in the midst of those who belong to Him.Come join us as we journey through this letter of Paul, and discover how the preeminence of Jesus Christ is meant to affect our marriages. Our earthly vocations. Our child rearing. Our prayer lives. Our stewardship of time, finances and spiritual. And last, but not least, our relationship with one another in the body of Christ. SELAH

YOU ARE CUSTOM MADE Comparison is a thief—it steals joy, confidence, and peace, making us focus on what we lack instead of embracing who we are. But Psalm 139:14 reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. When we stop comparing ourselves to others, we begin to live fully, embracing our God-given purpose and worth. Let go of comparison and step into the confidence of knowing you are custom-made by the Creator Himself. #FearfullyAndWonderfullyMade #Psalm13914 #GodsDesign Music composed by: MIKE OUTLAND MUSIC

Emotional attachment has drugged him, and he has forgotten the Lord, the treasure of virtue. Don't think that he is alive in the world — he is dead, through the love of duality. Those who do not meditate on the Lord, as Gurmukh, are not permitted to sit near the Lord. They suffer the most horrible pain and suffering, and neither their sons nor their wives go along with them. Their faces are blackened among men, and they sigh in deep regret. No one places any reliance in the self-willed manmukhs; trust in them is lost. O Nanak, the Gurmukhs live in absolute peace; the Naam, the Name of the Lord, abides within them. || 1 || THIRD MEHL: They alone are relatives, and they alone are friends, who, as Gurmukh, join together in love. Night and day, they act according to the True Guru's Will; they remain absorbed in the True Name. Those who are attached to the love of duality are not called friends; they practice egotism and corruption. The self-willed manmukhs are selfish; they cannot resolve anyone's affairs. O Nanak, they act according to their pre-ordained destiny; no one can erase it. || 2 || PAUREE: You Yourself created the world, and You Yourself arranged the play of it. You Yourself created the three qualities, and fostered emotional attachment to Maya. He is called to account for his deeds done in egotism; he continues coming and going in reincarnation. The Guru instructs those whom the Lord Himself blesses with Grace. I am a sacrifice to my Guru; forever and ever, I am a sacrifice to Him. || 3||

Hi, I'm John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you're listening to Share Life Today. As we look this week at how we can grow spiritually through worship, we should consider how many of the Psalms were originally written for Jewish worship services. In Psalm 95, we read that we worship God because He is the "great King." "In His hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The seas are His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land." And because God made this world and everything in it, the psalmist instructs us that we should bow down in worship and "kneel before the Lord our Maker." And it always leaves me in awe when I think about how our Creator has also created a way to redeem us from our sins—that the Creator Himself became a man to live a perfect life, to die on the cross for our sins. So today, let us worship Him—our Creator and Lord! For more on growing in your faith, visit our website at sharelife.today. That's sharelife.today.

The first Torah portion reading from the Book of Exodus this week is 'Shemot' (Exodus 1:1-6:2), which is of course the Hebrew name of the Book as well. And it begins the story of Moses (Moshe) and the Exodus from Egypt, and bondage, but actually begins even a bit earlier, and about two centuries after the story of Joseph in Genesis comes to an end. The Erev Shabbat reading not only introduces us to Moses, but actually covers about two-thirds of the span of his life in just a few chapters. Perhaps it's encouraging to consider that the most important part of his life's work didn't even begin until about his ninth decade: https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/SSM-1-17-25-Shemot-teaching-podcast-xxx.mp3 How did a people who were literally the "Sons of Israel," and direct descendants of the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, manage to descend from direct promises and blessings from the Creator Himself, to "cruel bondage" in just over two centuries? And for that matter, how do a people who understood "self-evident Truths" about that same Creator manage to descend to what may be even greater tyranny and bondage to an entirely different 'god' in almost that same times span? There is more here than you might think. Especially when you consider where we are on that timeline. Shemot: What HAPPENED to the 'Sons of Israel'? And how did they manage to go from such blessing to "cruel bondage?" https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/WT-CooH-1-18-25-Shemot-What-HAPPENED-podcast-xxxx.mp3 The combined two-part teaching is here:

Today, we're focusing on the sanctity of life—a truth that stretches beyond mere belief and into the very heart of God's creation. Each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made, knit together by the hands of the Creator Himself. From the first breath of life to our final moments, every person carries the Imago Dei—the image of God—infusing us with infinite value. This truth compels us to stand for life, especially for the most vulnerable among us. Psalm 139 reminds us that God knows us intimately, even from the womb, crafting every detail of who we are. Let us never forget the sacredness of life, a reflection of His love and purpose. And as we champion life, let's also embody grace. For those who've faced unplanned pregnancies or hard decisions, this is not a message of condemnation but of hope and redemption. Christ offers forgiveness, restoration, and love to all who seek Him. Let us be His hands and feet, supporting the struggling and advocating for life in humility and compassion. Together, we can live out this call, holding fast to the truth that every life matters to God.

The Charlotte Mason Method is an all-encompassing method of education for all of life, and therefore, there are many ways we can fall out of balance as we apply it in our homes and schools. Today, we are discussing the pitfalls of imbalance we face as relates to our teaching. From how we ourselves learn about the method, to combining multiple students; helping our students become more independent or making modifications for individual students. Miss Mason has timeless wisdom to offer us, and she knows we are equipped as mothers to be the primary agent of education for our children. "The mother is qualified," says Pestalozzi, "and qualified by the Creator Himself, to become the principal agent in the development of her child..." (1/2) "N.B. 1. — In home schoolrooms where there are children in A as well as in B, both forms may work together, doing the work of A or B as they are able." (P.U.S. Programmes) "...so soon as the child can read at all, he should read for himself, and to himself..." (1/227) "You may bring your horse to the water, but you can't make him drink ; and you may present ideas of the fittest to the mind of the child ; but you do not know in the least which he will take, and which he will reject." (2/127) "The teacher's part is, in the first place, to see what is to be done, to look over the work of the day in advance and see what mental discipline, as well as what vital knowledge, this and that lesson afford; and then to set such questions and such tasks as shall give full scope to his pupils' mental activity." (3/180-181) "Meantime , we sometimes err, I think, in taking a part for the whole, and a part of a part for the whole of that part." When Christ says that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, the word used for “truth” is ἀλήθεια, which includes within its lexical scope ‘uncovering' or ‘revelation' (it is a negating word, like “innocence” in English). That which covers, distorts, or perverts the truth is contrary to God, for God is Truth. As Christians, it is our duty not only to believe and speak the truth about matters written in God's Word, but also to believe and speak the truth about matters written in God's Creation. When Christ stood before Pilate, Pilate asked Him: Quid est veritas? What is truth? (Veritas is the Roman goddess of truth, Aletheia the Greek.) His inquiry may very well have been in earnest, for truth was certainly a core pursuit of Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman philosophy — something with which a statesman was expected to have some familiarity. Little did Pilate know (at the time) that it was Truth Himself Who stood before him. The modern world would seek to reduce most things to matters of opinion, and, even in those cases where an admission is made that what is at stake is truth, the modern world will often pick the lie. The Christian is not permitted to concede such territory, for God is Truth and all Truth is One. To deny the reality (i.e., the truth) of Creation is, ultimately, to deny the Creator Himself, which is blasphemy or even apostasy. It is meritorious and dutiful to defend the truth, but we must be willing to defend all truth, not simply those that are acceptable in the eyes of society or do not come at a personal cost. The truth, like the Law, is absolute — cursed is the man who does not keep it whole and undefiled. Show Notes The Three Universal/Ecumenical Creeds See Also Further Reading Parental Warnings None.

We are all worshipers of someone or something, whether we believe in Jesus or not. We give value and attention to people and temporary things because we long for something bigger than ourselves to fulfill our needs and desires. While some of these things may be good, they can become idols in our lives, because any created thing we worship, other than the Creator Himself, is idolatry. In this message, Pastor Aaron helps us unpack the meaning of idols and worship, and how we can find rest in worshiping the only one who will fulfill our longings – Jesus.Socials:www.facebook.com/clcecolumbiawww.instagram.com/centrallutheran/www.centrallutheran.church

Luke 12:54-57 — Is Christianity based on nothing more than myths? In this sermon on Luke 12:54–57 titled “The Blindness of Modern Man,” Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones confronts this false claim, showing that the message of Christianity is based on the historical facts of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity. The Holy Scriptures attest to this as the inspired revelation of God the Creator Himself. God testified to His existence and attributes in the very creation of the world and providence. Despite all this, humanity rejects Christianity. They claim that it is intellectually shallow, lacks evidence, and that only those who sacrifice their mind can assent to it. However, Dr. Lloyd-Jones teaches that those who reject Christianity do not do so because of intellectual objections, but because of the effects of sin. For while people may be capable of extraordinary feats of science, technology, art, and medicine, they are unable to comprehend spiritual truths unless God opens their hearts and minds to understand the gospel. They are not dumb but blinded by sin. They know that if they come to Christ, they must leave behind their sinful ways and give all to Christ. No one is capable of leaving behind a life of sin and rebellion unless God in His grace enlightens their hearts and minds so that they can see the truth of the gospel.

Jesus gives believers the authority to serve, work, and pray in His name when we do so, believing in Jesus' saving power and desiring God's will. Jesus, with the authority of the Father, exercised power to save sinners, and His name is the only name we can call on for salvation (Acts 4:12). As adopted sons and daughters into God's family, Christians experience God's saving grace through faith in the Person of Jesus. When we call on Him, we participate in His power and find that “the name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10).

Charlotte Mason's Method can seem confusing and difficult to implement, especially if we view it as a list of do's and don'ts. But when we learn to see it as a unified whole, it is revealed as a truly simple and cohesive method of education. “Time is insufficient for teachers as well as for scholars. How then find room for a new subject ? Where place it ? What would give way for it ? The answer is easy. The art of reading can only benefit education where it adds nothing, eliminates nothing, supersedes nothing, but by assimilation is our aid to all things. It is not a tax but an aid to memory ; it does not fatigue, but relieves and supports the mind. It is to education what the gastric juice is to the nutritive process : it causes and facilitates digestion ; it is not in itself a new factor, but a component part of all the other factors.” (Short Treatise on Reading Aloud. PR 17, p 129) "The reader will say with truth,-" I knew all this before and have always acted more or less on these principles " ; and I can only point to the unusual results we obtain through adhering not ' more or less,' but strictly to the principles and practices I have indicated. I suppose the difficulties are of the sort that Lister had to contend with ; every surgeon knew that his instruments and appurtenances should be kept clean, but the saving of millions of lives has resulted from the adoption of the great surgeon's antiseptic treatment; that is from the substitution of exact principles scrupulously applied for the rather casual ' more or less ' methods of earlier days." (6/19) “Therefore we do not feel it is lawful in the early days of a child's life to select certain subjects for his education to the exclusion of others; … but we endeavour that he shall have relations of pleasure and intimacy established with as many as possible of the interests proper to him; not learning a slight or incomplete smattering about this or that subject, but plunging into vital knowledge, with a great field before him which in all his life he will not be able to explore.” (3/223) "As we have already urged, there is but one right way, that is, children must do the work for themselves." (6/99) "The children, not the teachers, are the responsible persons ; they do the work by self-effort." (6/241) "'The mother is qualified,' says Pestalozzi, 'and qualified by the Creator Himself, to become the principal agent in the development of her child ; . . . and what is demanded of her is a thinking love. • • • God has given to thy child all the faculties of our nature, but the grand point remains undecided-how shall this heart, this head, these hands, be employed? to whose service shall they be dedicated? A question the answer to which involves a futurity of happiness or misery to a life so dear to thee. Maternal love is the first agent in education.'" (1/2) "What we cannot do with Miss Mason's Ideal is to reduce it to lowest terms, and just in so far as we try to, so far we misrepresent it, and misunderstand it. But some of the secret undoubtedly lies in the Programmes of Work; the longer we work from those wonderful programmes the more we realise how well balanced they are; how satisfying to the hungry mind; how the subjects dovetail; how difficult it is to teach history only in history time, how it will 'flow over' into geography, literature, or even into such unexpected channels as arithmetic or botany." (In Memoriam, p. 151) "Method implies two things -- a way to an end, and step-by-step progress in that way. Further, the following of a method implies an idea, a mental image, of the end or object to be arrived at." (1/8) "It would seem a far cry from Undine to a' liberal education ' but there is a point of contact between the two ; a soul awoke within a water-sprite at the touch of love; so, I have to tell of the awakening of a ' general soul ' at the touch of knowledge. Eight years ago the ' soul ' of a class of children in a mining village school awoke simultaneously at this magic touch and has remained awake. We know that religion can awaken souls, that love makes a new man, that the call of a vocation may do it, and in the age of the Renaissance , men's souls, the general soul, awoke to knowledge : but this appeal rarely reaches the modern soul ; and, notwithstanding the pleasantness attending lessons and marks in all our schools, I believe the ardour for knowledge in the children of this mining village is a phenomenon that indicates new possibilities. Already many thousands of the children of the Empire had experienced this intellectual conversion, but they were the children of educated persons. To find that the children of a mining population were equally responsive seemed to open a new hope for the world. It may be that the souls of all children are waiting for the call of knowledge to awaken them to delightful living." (6/Preface) "It is such a temptation to us ordinary folks to emphasize some part at the expense of the rest and so turn a. strength into a weakness. There is only one way to avoid this danger. That is constantly to read and re-read Miss Mason's books, constantly to remind ourselves of her first principles -- for from now onwards Miss Mason's work is in our hands; we dare not leave un-made and effort to keep the truth." (Wix, p. 153) “Questions there will always be, but if we continually keep in touch with Miss Mason's thought by constant reading of all her books, we shall have a sheaf of principles at command by which we can test the value of this or that criticism, this or that book.” (Franklin. Daniel teaches: "The apostle Peter says that we have already been given all the gifts that are necessary for salvation. They are given at the time of the sacraments of baptism and chrismation. These gifts are achievable through knowledge of God. The Lord, however, bestows not only gifts, but also the promise that we will be participants in the Divine nature, that through divine grace we will become participants in the nature of the Creator Himself." -from "God's Love and God's Will" "If there is no obvious answer to our question in Holy Scripture, how are we then to learn God's will? For this we have the holy Church of God. We must go to the Church and ask the advice of the priest. This advice must be given grounded in Holy Scripture and the holy fathers. This is necessary not because we do not trust the priest, but so that we might learn, and the next time the choice will be simpler for us.... There are cases, however, where it is not possible to go to a priest or an elder for advice, and the situation must be resolved without delay. In this case there are several means of learning God's will..." -from "God's Love and God's Will" "Ordinarily names are given by those in authority. For example, parents give their children names, exercising their authority over them.... Thus, on the one hand the name signifies personal contact, and on the other—a subordinate status. Hence, strictly speaking, our God is a nameless God. If we ask what God's sole, absolute name is, the answer is that there is none! For there is no one greater than He." -from "The Divine Names" _______ Orthodox Wisdom is dedicated to sharing the writings and lives of the Saints of the Orthodox Church. If you appreciate this work, consider supporting it - https://www.patreon.com/seekgodtogether Today we will read Micah 6:8 which says, “Mankind, He has told you what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: To act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.” Dear worshipper, it would be an impossible task and horrible burden to ask you to determine your own purpose. And even though we vainly seek our own autonomy, haven't you found that you never really get it? You seek liberty from things known and unknown, but have you found it? You are never truly free. You are always dependent. And so the only question is to which power will you yield: yourself, others, various spiritual beings, or the Creator Himself? You must choose. Here God tells us His expectations - His purpose - His calling not just for an individual but for humanity. And not only that, but it seems as though He's made this plain in the past. The fact that we ignore its simplicity should compel us to remind ourselves of it often. God tells us to act justly. To simply do what's right. To take ownership of our own conduct and live well. And He tells us to love faithfulness. This word is “Hesed” and means God's Loyal Love. We can't define it exactly because it's a description of God's affection and commitment to us. It's how God is and what He's like. We are to love that and seek to imitate it. How does God love you? How does God love others - even your worst enemy? Yes - you are to love that about God and imitate it yourself. That's your purpose. And lastly, we are to do this while walking with humbly with God. To be humble is to see yourself as lower than God (which of course you are). It's to take a position of less importance. I love this because the invitation is there to walk with God. To be close by His side as He redeems humanity. But to do so with our head lowered. We are not the important character in the story - He is! But we get to come along for the ride and be close to the action. “I love You God for Who You are and how You do what You do. I want to act as You require, and love what You love.”

SPECIAL GUEST Brother Andre Marie  Follow Brother Andre on GAB and Twitter - @Brother_Andre Host of ReConquest aired only on The Crusade Channel Thank you to everyone that prayed for me yesterday as I had my disposition.  A lot could be riding on this I mean it b/c it is very ugly and it has complicated what we do here. It has been quite the ordeal. He punched my manliness in the gut - fasting show. One meal a day TKD has been doing this all Lent thus far. Saint Thomas - his father was a knight and several of his brothers were also Knights. They were very well off. The younger child, at that time, it was customary the YOUNGER children would be turned over to God. Angelic Warfare Confraternity - https://www.angelicwarfareconfraternity.org  HEADLINE: Saint Thomas Aquinas by Brother Thomas Mary Sennott  I was told by a fellow Priest that said anytime he would be tempted by inappropriate thoughts he would do math problems. He said to rid yourself of those thoughts, take on learning something hard. Saint Thomas once confided to his friend Saint Bonaventure, that whatever he knew, he had for the most part learned from the Book of the Crucifix. One day while he was in prayer, Jesus spoke to him from the crucifix saying, “Well hast thou written of Me, Thomas: what reward wouldst thou have?” Chesterton, commenting on this, says: “Nobody supposes that Thomas Aquinas, when offered by God his choice among all the gifts of God, would ask for a thousand pounds, or the crown of Sicily, or a present of rare Greek wine. But he might have asked for things that he really wanted; and he was a man who could want things; as he wanted the lost manuscript of Saint Chrysostom. He might have asked for the solution of an old difficulty; or the secret of a new science; or a flash of the inconceivable intuitive mind of the angels; or any one of a thousand things that really would have satisfied his broad and virile appetite for the very vastness and variety of the universe. The point is that for him, when the voice spoke from between the outstretched arms of the Crucified, those arms were truly opened wide, and opening most gloriously the gates of all the worlds; they were arms pointing to the east and to the west, to the ends of the earth and the very extremes of existence. They were truly spread out with a gesture of omnipotent generosity; the Creator Himself offering Creation itself; with all its million-fold mystery of separate beings, and the triumphal chorus of the creatures. Saint Thomas, when he at last lifted his head, spoke with that almost blasphemous audacity, which is one with humility: ‘I will have Thyself.'” The Dominican Nuns are cloistered - for them they belong to the Order of Preachers.  For them study is penance. Subtle Matter This is a commentary on the Book of Job. Saint Gregory the Great -  Saint Thomas blazes a new trail in commenting on the Book of Job. As a mature theologian his mind had been steeped in the scriptures by this time when he wrote the Summa. When he wrote the Summa he was dictating and when he dictated he didn't have notes. When he is quoting in the Summa he was doing all this by MEMORY! Pettifogger = someone who quibbles over trivia, and raises petty, annoying objections.  Tonight's ReConquest - Episode 366: What Does It Mean to Love Your Enemy?  HEADLINE: Meekness is Strength by Brother Andre Marie Joe car accident years ago - he is 20 perfectly abled bodied but his brain just isn't 100%.

Torah 49 Tinyana: Rabeinu emphasizes that G-d is ultimately compassionate and wants us very much! We must therefore move on and not dwell in the past, the main thing is just not to do what you once did that was bad. Therefore, when a person is doing teshuva, he must pass through all the places he was once in, and when he decides to not turn to his evil inclination, this is complete teshuva!Torah 50: One cannot have 2 thoughts at the same time, and one must direct his thoughts in the proper direction, just like we redirect a horse with reins when he strays off the right path!Torah 51: We must be stubborn against the evil inclination, which is constantly knocking in us many times over to encourage us to sin… but one who's stubborn and strong will ignore the evil inclination and by default, it will vanish. Torah 52: It is necessary that people raise questions against the tzadikim because they emulate their Creator. And the Creator Himself is so exalted and above the grasp of our minds that it's fitting for G-d that people raise questions on Him, considering that NOBODY understands His ways!

For more on growing in your faith, visit our website at www.sharelife.today. That's www.sharelife.today.

To help myself think this through, I'll first list the things I never ever doubt. - I never doubt that I exist. - I never doubt that truth exists, because for example, it is true that I exist. - I never doubt that reason exists, because I can reason to the truth of the previous sentence. - I never doubt that there is a reality, because truth and reason exist. - I never doubt that the universe exists, because I exist as part of it, and I can reason to the truth of its existence. - I never doubt that the universe must have had a beginning, because stars still burn available energy. - Since truth and reason exist, I never doubt that logic exists. - Since I exist and logic exists, I never doubt that existence itself must be rational. - Since logic and reason exist, I never doubt that whatever has a beginning must have a cause. - Since logic and reason exist, I never doubt that the effect cannot be greater than the cause. - I never doubt that whatever caused the universe must be powerful and even greater than the universe itself. - And since logic exists, I realize that nothing that has a beginning can have existed forever. - And since the Cause of the universe must exist, I realize that it has no beginning, and has existed forever.  - And since this uncaused Cause created the universe, i.e., its ingredients, I don't doubt that it also created me. - And since I'm a person and the effect can't be greater than the cause I don't doubt that the Creator is personal. - And because we persons are creative like He is, I never doubt that we are made to some extent in His likeness. - And because the Creator is a person, I never doubt that He must be alive. - So I never doubt that the attributes of our eternal Creator are that He is living and personal. - And I never doubt that human beings refer to the living and personal eternal Creator as "God". - And I never doubt that to be a person, one must have a will, so that it is by God's will that I exist. - And because we creatures have the ability to know our Creator, I never doubt that He is relational. - And because He made us with the ability to love, I never doubt that the Creator Himself can love. - And because God can love, and He made us to know good and evil, I therefore never doubt that He is good. - So I never doubt our all-powerful, eternal Creator God who is living, personal, relational, good, and loving. - And I never doubt that all these things could be intuitively understood by everyone who's ever lived. - And because God is good and loving and made us, I never doubt that He cares about us and wants to save us. - And I never doubt that if Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead as prophesied, that Christianity is false. - Nor have I ever doubted that if Jesus did rise from the dead, then all other religions are false and as He claimed, He is the only way to eternal life. Santi, these are some of the things I never doubt. Now, what do I sometimes doubt? There are many particulars regarding the universe, the world, mankind, doctrines of Scripture, points of history, economics, science, etc., that I'm eager to learn more of and to be corrected where in error. The more significant errors I've made over the years are listed on our Errata page which we link to from our KGOV.com home page and from the footer section of every one of the 10,000 pages on our site. (This article is one of those pages, at kgov.com/on-doubt, so you can see the Errata link just below.) Santi: Bob, I'd like to ask you a personal question. When you doubt, what is it exactly that you doubt?" If you appreciate this work, consider supporting it - https://www.patreon.com/seekgodtogether Today we will read Micah 6:8 which says, “Mankind, He has told you what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: To act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.” Dear worshipper, it would be an impossible task and horrible burden to ask you to determine your own purpose. I want to act as You require, and love what You love.” --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

As the world continues to get darker, is there hope in a Godless society? What does it mean when a feminist liberal icon like Naomi Wolf starts talking about spiritual warfare and says "it's time for intellectuals to talk about God"? Is the world starting to get so dark that even atheists and those on the extreme left are seeking out the light? Could it be that the REAL war doesn't originate with Republicans and Democrats but spiritual dark forces? Todd Herman was a dominant talk radio host in Seattle for eight years and was a regular fill-in for Rush Limbaugh (God rest him). In November of 2021, after being told he couldn't say certain things on the air, Todd made the decision to take his show private to what is now 'The Todd Herman Show'. On this episode of 'I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be an Atheist', he speaks candidly with Frank about many of his experiences as a conservative talk radio host living in Seattle and how God is using these dark times to bring people on all sides of the political spectrum closer to the truth of His Word. He also cautions us on making politics our idol (should churches even talk about politics?), and why today is one of the greatest times to be a Christian. If you know God and His Word, you know that ultimate hope doesn't come from the government or the next election cycle. It can only come from the Creator Himself. The world around us deserves our awe and wonder, but we can make the error of believing the good things of this world are the best we can have - we can idolize the creation and forget the Creator. On the other hand, if we believe that because this world is secondary to the next then all of our earthly endeavors are meaningless, we can be indifferent to God's works. Is there a third way? In this episode, Brian shares Hans Boersma's essay on "How to Look for Heaven in Earth," and how living in the created order can ready us to better know the Creator Himself.
