"A re-acceleration in inflation spells problems" for the bond market, says Jordan Lopez of Payden & Rygel. But, if the growth picture remains strong and unemployment remains firm, Jordan sees a possible "Goldilocks" scenario for risk assets. Adam Hetts, global head of multi-asset at Janus Henderson Investors, says the economy is somewhere between a soft and hard landing, but that anyone expecting a mild recession should watch for it to last about nine months, but with the market bottoming out typically a few months before the recession ends, investors will want to stay the course through the bear market trough, rather than moving into cash to get the high current yields and play defense. With lower expected stock returns and improved bond returns, Hetts says riding out a balanced portfolio should provide both safety and growth potential. Farscape 4·17: A Constellation of DoubtOn Moya, as John wonders about the location of Katratzi - the likely location Aeryn Sun is being held captive - he obsessively watches a television transmission that Moya has intercepted from Earth. It is a program documenting the aliens' recent visit and the reactions of Earth's people.“Don't think too much about how translator microbes work, grab a bowl of cop porn and pour yourself a glass of toilet water: it's time to watch someone win an Emmy.” (thanks Mark Nixon!)“Earth reflects on it's week with the aliens by way of found footage, correctly diagnoses John Crichton with PTSD.” (thanks Mysterytour!)“Crichton watches a documentary about the crews time on Earth while he tries to figure out where he has heard the name Katratzi before. We see Noranti making poison for rats to use against people, D'Argo tongue smacks Crichton's nephew Bobby, Aeryn explains the peacekeeper life, Chiana experiments with makeup, Rygel gambles and calls sex hotlines, Sikozu shows off her beautiful singing talents for Uncharted Territories Idol and Crichton makes an offer to Scorpius that he can't refuse.” (thanks Nickrude from Katratzi aka Canada !)“Oh tonight's episode we will go over that infamous world changing event. When the once lost astronaut John Crichton brings aliens back to earth. What's else did they bring back with them? What is the government hiding? What does Katratzi mean? Where has Aeryn gone off too? Will John go mad playing these questions over in his head? Scorpius plays a game of paint ball (remove the T) against the Jedi Master and Rygel goes up against a Charrid, who's race have an ugly history with Hynerians. Farscape 4·14: Twice ShyChiana convinces the others to allow an imprisoned woman to stay on Moya. They quickly discover, however, that she's far more trouble than she's worth. The crew goes rabbit hunting to find a part of themselves, it sounds like a spiritual adventure but it's far from it.” (thanks GoingMetal799!)“Emotions run high when a polymorph joins the crew during a shopping trip. Will the crew of Red Dwarf, I mean Moya, be able to track this critter down and put themselves together again before it's too late...” (thanks Marky See!)“Everyone is acting weird, Arachnid girl has disappeared, Along came a spider, Exploded beside her, Let's just give up, we're unprepared.” (thanks Ric From the Delta Quadrant!)“Human trafficking strikes a nerve with Chiana, but little does anyone know, nerves are what the trafficking victim is all about. After trading for maps, the traders toss in a slave girl for a bargain, which Pip quickly accepts. Things get weird when the new ""girl"" Talikaa starts giving off serious Polymorph vibes (hello Red Dwarf) and takes the strongest traits from the crew. D'Argo gets to second base with Chiana while Scorpius' Scarren side gets overcharged and carries Sikozu around like a knight in black cooling armour. Rygel acts like a smeghead turned philanthropist, while Kryten and Aeryn have a revelation regarding their relationship. Are they cool like Ace Rimmer? The SVB banking mess complicates the Federal Reserve’s path forward on interest rates — there are concerns about higher rates putting stress on the financial system, but the latest Consumer Price Index shows that inflation is still too high. Jeffrey Cleveland of Payden & Rygel has more. The banking crisis has prompted questions around whether regulators failed to detect — or act upon — red flags in either of the failed banks, explains Wharton professor Peter Conti-Brown. And, last week’s jobs report showed that women are becoming increasingly involved in the labor force after a pandemic-era dip.
