The 1837 Bed and Breakfast in Charleston, South Carolina is the former home of a cotton planter. The style of the home is a great example of the Charleston Single home. Although this was not a plantation, it still had slaves that lived on the third level and there are stories that claim that a mother and father were sold off to another planter, leaving their nine-year-old son without his parents. He may have tried desperately to find them and ultimately lost his life. Ghost stories claim that he is still here at the house, acting like a poltergeist pulling pranks on visitors and perhaps even appearing as footsteps on the bed spread. While in Charleston, we couldn't pass up the chance to visit the Old Charleston Jail. This was Diane's second visit and Kelly's first, and we got to do an investigation there! Join us as we share the history and investigation at the 1837 Bed and Breakfast and the Old Charleston Jail! Our lives for the past 8 months has been stressful and we need to remember that we are here to Grow Up but we can do it with Positivity and Happiness. Both come from within and are a choice (even when we don't feel we have a choice) WE DO! We always have a choice. And we can play more, with children, pets, online communities, connect with our friends and family online and play games. We can take this time to Let Go of our Fears and do some fun things while doing it. We can practice developing our Intuition and Healing and Remote Viewing. We have to want to take this time to Grow and Evolve our Consciousness. Since this 'new normal' is here for a while - take this time to make the changes you need. Do it with Compassion, Acceptance and Love. See your Fears, Ego and Beliefs that keep you sad, angry and frustrated - and use this knowledge to Let Go. Remember we are here to Grow towards Love not stay stuck in our fears! More importantly, Let's have Fun doing it (or BEing it). Join us for this fascinating discussion! Laurie Huston from News the Heart is talking with physicist Tom Campbell on Stress: Control, Power, Force. This Month we begin this conversation discussing what happened on our last show - the fear and anger people are exhibiting due to COVID-19 and how people are angry about being called out on Self-Centeredness - which seemed to be upsetting people. Unfortunately, not only was that not our focus but rather it was to assist us to realize that instead of focusing on "me" we need to understand that we are all one and together. Yes we may have a perfect auto-immune system to fight this virus, but does our parents, or grandparents, what about the people who are asymptomatic? So this month we discussed Stress and what Tom phrased as Control, Power, Force. We want to have control, power and force over our lives and when it is threatened, like being told we have to wear a mask, we get angry. But this is our ego talking, it is our desire to be in Control, have Power and Force our way of thinking on others. Stress is only hurting ourselves: Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually. We need to remember Love comes from a place of Giving. When we 'take' it is not Love, or Acceptance - it offers very little to our Evolution towards Love. When we wear a mask it is to respect others. We need to stop worrying about our own needs and Give Love by BEing conscious of the World we share with the other 8 billion people. Remember we are here to Grow towards Love not stay stuck in our fears! Join us for this fascinating discussion! We're Getting to the Heart of what Matters!

Most people think of the island of Bermuda as a tropical getaway with turquoise water and pink sand beaches. And while that is true, Bermuda has been known as the Isle of Devils. Much of the reason why was because of the stormy weather that has throttled the island, along with the treacherous ring of coral that has surrounded it. This also happens to be the eastern point of the Bermuda Triangle. Thus the island has become a place of lore and there are many tales of hauntings. Join us as we share the history and hauntings of Bermuda! Hotel Henry, Urban Resort Conference Center sounds like a nice place to stay. Looks like a great place to host a wedding and who doesn't want a historic Gothic structure in their wedding photos? Perhaps hearing that this location is situated on a War of 1812 battlefield might give one pause. Or maybe the fact that this structure was once an asylum might be worrisome. Would the fact that Frederick Olmstead designed these grounds cause some hesitation before booking? After all, Olmstead was a landscape architect who was notorious in supernatural circles for designing haunted property. It is not surprising that the former H.H. Richardson Complex is reputed to be one of the most haunted sites in Buffalo and in the state of New York. Join us and our listener Karen Hubbard as we explore the history and haunts of the H.H. This Episode of the Podcast is the 2nd instalment of the Not Another Runner’s Life, where I am joined by my co-host Marcus Brown. This is a conversation between two friends, discussing:  Current events in the Running World and Community Inspiring stories and snippets from both our Podcasts What we have learnt within the month from the World of Podcasting Current and trending topics Questions for each other; including how we are doing with training, running and life And then we finish off with something positive. This Month we discuss Marcus’ very busy and exciting schedule, the inspiring episodes he has published over on his Podcast: A Runner’s Life this past month. Marcus informs us all on Black Trail Runners - their aim, and how he is involved with the community. We also hear about Marcus’ Marathon Training and upcoming Goal. I catch up with Marcus about Not Another Runner’s latest episode with ultra runner and Elite Runner and Redbull athlete Tom Evans, Marcus shares his views on this episode and I confess to one of the embarrassing and big mistake I made during that interview, but also some great take aways and insights from this interview, and what myself and Marcus observe from hosting a Podcast. I catch you all up on what’s been going on in my little world; we chat about injury and living daily with pain. I speak about my recent Month-long meditation and what I have noticed since not practicing daily, and one tip I find useful with meditating. One of the biggest things we talk about in this episode, is remembering that we can only control that which is within our control. And approaching stressful situations in a calm manner where possible. Why you can prepare the best you can, but still on the day things won’t always go to plan, but reflecting on the experience is beneficial for moving forward. We talk about social media, including Instagram Reels, TikTok - and the benefits of utilising Social Media. I explain how I have used Instagram and Instagram Reels to source Podcast guests and material!!

The Orleans Waterfront Inn lies between Town Cove and Route 28 in Orleans, Massachusetts. This had been the home of a sea captain whose family had strong ties to Orleans and whose ancestors were pilgrims. The original building has been here for over 100 years and was said to be a favorite haunt of the Irish Mafia where they ran whiskey. This was reputedly a brothel for a time as well, where a lady of the evening lost her life. The inn was the scene of two suicides. Perhaps because of this history, the inn is reputedly haunted. Not far from Orleans is the town of Brewster. There are several haunted locations in this town from the Crosby Mansion to the Bramble Inn and Restaurant to the Captain Freeman Perry House.
