This week I am talking to Stephanie Arnold about her book '37 Seconds: Dying Revealed Heaven's Help'.Like Proof of Heaven and To Heaven and Back, a medical drama with heavenly implications in which a woman receives premonitions of her death that come true, and her discovery of the heavenly help available to all of us.When she was pregnant with her second child, Stephanie Arnold had a sudden and overwhelming premonition that she would die during the delivery. Though she tried to tell the medical team and her family what was going to happen, neither the doctors nor her loved ones gave her warnings credence. Finding no physical indications that anything was wrong, they attributed her foreboding to hormones and anxiety. One member of the medical team did take her concerns seriously enough, and made the fateful decision to order extra units of blood “just in case.” Then, during the delivery, Stephanie suffered a rare Amniotic Fluid Embolism. She went into cardiac arrest and flat-lined for 37 seconds. She died. Using the supplementary blood, the medical team revived her, and she remained unconscious for more than six days. After months of recovery, Stephanie began to remember details of her experience, details she knew because she had witnessed the entire dramatic event, including her death, from outside her body—beside other spirits that were with her. In this remarkable true story, Stephanie recounts her harrowing journey and shares her surprising spiritual discoveries: we are not alone and have more loving help than we can imagine surrounding us.BioStephanie is an award-winning, international best-selling author, inspirational speaker and thought leader on a mission to help others realize that connecting with our sixth sense can not only enhance our lives, but can very well save them.Stephanie's background and experiences allow her to connect with diverse audiences, whether through her book, speaking engagements, or media appearances. Prior to sharing her own story in her best-selling book, 37 Seconds, Stephanie enjoyed a decades-long career helping others share their stories as an Emmy-Nominated TV Producer. In her personal life, Stephanie is a wife and mother with a deep appreciation of her Latina-Jewish heritage.    With her story inspiring millions of people around the globe, Stephanie now dedicates her time to speaking and advocacy work, spreading awareness about positive doctor-patient communication, trauma recovery, and discovering meaning and purpose in our personal and professional lives.Amazon link https://tinyurl.com/22bux3r3https://stephaniearnold.net/https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/ourparanormalafterlifeBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/our-paranormal-afterlife-finding-proof-of-life-after-death--5220623/support.

How to gain clarity by asking the most fundamental question How to avoid unhelpful definitions and category fallacies when discussing death and dying The uniquely modern problem of distance from death How J.P.'s experience facing cancer encouraged him to dig deeper into a study of life after death Where we see the suppressed emotions and anxiety over mortality impacting our culture What the important difference is between “active” and “passive” euthanasia Is there such a thing as a life not worthy of being lived? I suspect we all mispronounce words from time to time. Either we learned them wrong or we get lazy. I know I usually pronounce affidavit as if it has a D on the end instead of a t because it is just easier. It’s wrong but it is easier. We start today’s episode by looking at some commonly mispronounced words because some people will judge you harshly when you don't say words correctly. http://grammar.yourdictionary.com/style-and-usage/mispron.htmlWhat happens when you die? Of course we don’t know for sure – or do we? Dr. Mary Neal is a medical doctor who drowned in a kayaking accident in Chile several years ago. She was dead for 30 minutes. But she came back. Wait until you hear the story she tells of her experience of dying and returning to tell the tale. Dr. Neal is the author of the best-selling book To Heaven and Back. (http://amzn.to/2yFC7EL)If you are a wine drinker, you have no doubt gone to take a sip only to see a fruit fly swimming in your glass. Should you toss out the fly and drink the wine or start all over? There is a little science you need to hear. https://www.winespectator.com/articles/can-fruit-fly-ruin-glass-wine-53891Why are procrastinators made to feel bad that they always wait until the last minute to accomplish a task? What does it matter as long as it gets done? According to clinical psychologist Dr. Mary Lamia, author of the book, What Motivates Getting Things Done: Procrastination, Emotions, and Success (http://amzn.to/2zGr0Md), procrastinators should stop feeling bad and stop trying to change. First of all it is almost impossible to change and secondly, there is no reason to. She explains all of that in today’s episode.

(Gn.12:1-4a;   Ps.33:4-5,18-20,22;   2Tm.1:8b-10;   Mt.17:1-9)   “Rise, and do not be afraid.”   Here in the midst of the darkness we drink in during this Lenten Season comes a light shining to assure our hearts of the promise that is ours.  The Lord's Transfiguration is presented to us this day to lead us through all the tribulations of the cross to the resurrection, which is our holy goal. “Beloved: Bear your share of hardship for the gospel with the strength that comes from God,” Paul says to his special child Timothy, and so the Lord speaks to us all, reminding us that “He saved us and called us to a holy life.”  It is “up a high mountain by themselves” Jesus leads His principal disciples Peter, James, and John, to reveal to them the glory to which they are called – thus signifying the cross we must all carry along the rough terrain of this world to reach our place in heaven.  In seeing that “His face shone like the sun and His clothes became white as light” and then hearing the voice of the Father overshadowing them, they are overawed… but the hand of the Lord touches them, and strengthens them for the road ahead. Our call is like that of Abraham, the father of all those of faith: “Go forth from the land of your kinsfolk and from your father's house to a land that I will show you.”  We all must leave behind the security this world holds and go according to God's word, to travel in a land foreign to our souls.  But His assurance is with us, His blessing is upon us, and so the darkness of the night should not make us afraid.  For “the eyes of the Lord are upon those who fear Him, upon those who hope for His kindness, to deliver them from death and preserve them in spite of famine.”  And so, however difficult the walk, however steep the climb, our hearts should never waver; for we have always at our side “our Savior Christ Jesus, who destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” And so, brothers and sisters, as we travel through the heart of the sacrifice this Lenten time invites us to share, let it be that “our soul waits for the Lord, who is our help and our shield,” and let our prayer be as David's: “May your kindness, O Lord, be upon us, who have put our hope in you.”  For Jesus is before us to lead us to our home.   Written, read & chanted, and produced by James Kurt.   Music: "Going Home" from Cleansing Human Frailty, fourth album of Songs for Children of Light, by James Kurt.   ******* O LORD, let your eyes be upon us to guide us by your holy light, and let our eyes look up and meet your own.  YHWH, let us go as you direct us; let us follow your Son wherever He leads.  Though it be up a high mountain, though the path be rough and darkness overshadow us, let us not hesitate.  Let us listen to His voice speaking to our souls: “Rise, and do not be afraid.” O LORD, you deliver us from death and preserve us despite any trial of this world.  To Heaven the way of the Cross does lead, so let us not be afraid.  Let us put our hope and our trust in you, knowing that you are always at our side, that your Spirit is with us ever to guide us to your eternal kingdom.  Let us know and remember that we will rise with Jesus. All your works are trustworthy, dear God, and so let us be obedient to your call, that our lives, too, might be formed by your hand.  Grant us vision that we might see our way through the darkness of this world by the light of your beloved Son.

(Gn.28:10-22;   Ps.91:1-4,14-15;   Mt.9:18-26)   “Know that I am with you; I will protect you wherever you go.”   What the Lord says here to Jacob, He says indeed to all of us:  He will protect us on our journey; let us but take refuge in Him.  Our dearest Jesus is the abode of God, and in Him our souls are safe. As Jacob sets forth alone from the land of Canaan, he fears that he shall not return to this place of His promised inheritance.  But the Lord comes to him in a dream to stand “beside him” and assure him that the promise is firm: “I will never leave you until I have done what I promised you.”  With these words of encouragement and the vision of heaven's ladder still in his mind, Jacob cries out in “solemn wonder” of that place in which the Lord revealed Himself to His servant.  He sets up a memorial stone, thereby to mark “God's abode.” Our psalm today sings of the Lord's protection upon those who trust in Him.  He answers our call in distress, rescues us from “the snare of the fowler,” and gives us refuge.  Thus we “dwell in the shelter of the Most High,” abiding in His shadow, covered by His wings of blessed protection.  “Because he clings to me, I will deliver him,” says our psalmist in the voice of the Lord; and indeed we know that trusting in Him is our salvation. And in our gospel we discover where such refuge lies; we find Him who is the true house of God, and we are shown the faith which is necessary to make our home there.  What Jesus says to the woman, He says to His whole Church: “Courage, daughter!  Your faith has restored you to health.”  Her great faith told her she needed but to “touch his cloak,” but to press up against the walls of the temple that is Christ to find healing.  And the synagogue leader states simply and clearly his faith in the Lord: “My daughter has just died.  Please come and lay your hand on her and she will come back to life.”  Yes, indeed the protection of the Lord, the refuge and strength He is to us in our faith, reaches beyond the grave. Our own journeys can be arduous, brothers and sisters.  At times it can seem as if the Lord is leaving us, as if He is far away.  Faith.  Faith, brothers and sisters, will see us through all difficulties, even death.  We are destined to rise with Him on the last day; we are blessed here now along the way.  Jesus is the ladder which leads to heaven; He Himself is the House of God.  With faith in Him and in His protection, let us climb with the angels to His abode. Today in our hearts let us set up for Him a memorial stone, that we might remember His sacred presence.  For now we do more than touch the tassel of His cloak; He enters us and we enter Him whole.   ******* O LORD, we shall be raised up, if we but trust in you. YHWH, you are our refuge; help us to trust entirely in you.  If we have but faith, we shall be saved from all disease and even death.  We shall dwell with you forever.  For you bless those who trust in you, who seek to do your holy will. To Heaven let us come, dear LORD; send us your Son to carry us there.  He is the ladder upon which we climb, aided by your angels.  How shall we fly unto you if you do not reach down to us?  If you do not call us, we cannot go forth.  Without your protection we shall surely die.  We have no hope but you. You raise the daughter of the faithful man; you heal the hemorrhage of the poor woman.  Into the Promised Land you guide your chosen child, Israel.  You alone are awesome, O God.  You alone save us from distress.  Bring us into your House this day, for your House is a fortress where we take refuge and find our souls secure.

DAVID SWEET— Is our Guest Speakers today, but when I introduce David I must include David’s wife Lindy who is presently in Europe. David and Lindy are experienced ministers who specialise in both ministering healing and teaching how to heal the sick. Their ministry is accompanied by instant manifestations of healing. They believe healing is the ‘Dinner Bell’ of the gospel and they ring that bell at every opportunity. With a passion to see people saved, healed and delivered, David and Lindy’s prayer is that the word they teach is so simple that even the youngest child can understand it. They preach the Word of God with boldness and in demonstration of the Holy Spirit. David and Lindy were both born again and filled with the Holy Spirit on the 14th February 1984. They have been married for 47 years and have three adult children and three grandchildren. David and Lindy graduated from Rhema Bible Training Centre Perth in 1986. They have successfully pioneered and pastored several churches and are passionate about ministering the unconditional love and mercy of God and His provision of salvation, healing, deliverance and prosperity for all. In 1987 they established their first church in Alice Springs, outback Australia. After moving back to their home state of Queensland, they began another ministry under the name of Abundant Life Ministries Network which included pioneering and pastoring three churches, a Bible College and itinerant ministry through Faith and Healing Seminars which have resulted in many instant manifestations of healing. At present there are hundreds of thousands of copies of their, “How to get To Heaven” mini book in circulation in numerous nations. This book has proven an excellent evangelistic tool with many testimonies of people accepting Jesus after reading it. English copies are currently being distributed free of charge and ten translations are available for reading online for free at: www.heavenbks.net A more recent book by David and Lindy entitled, “How To Get Your Prayers Answered” is also in print in English and Urdu with copies distributed in Australia, Philippines, Indonesia, United States, United Kingdom, Pakistan and Africa. We thank Ps Tony of Rhema Family Church - Brisbane Australia, who has permitted us to copy this audio of David teaching at their Church a couple of weeks ago ...thank you Ps Tony.

The New Testament has always taught us that the direct way to the throne of Jesus is through repentance and receiving His blood sacrifice upon His Cross. The Word never tells us that we receive entrance TO HEAVEN through A NEW AGE OF WITCHCRAFT CONCEPT conjured up Stat gates or wormholes as is being promoted by many FALSE PROPHETS TO Christian Pastor's today.  The scripture shows that the heavens are open at all times to true believers. Eph 2:6, “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” KJV We do not have to choose to go through an occult Stargate to reach Jesus. He is with us all the time.  These New Age followers believe that God is a respecter of persons and places. They teach: “Open heavens occur over certain geographical areas that are marked by God.” For example, they say, “Jacob experienced open heaven at a place which he named Bethel (located near a village called Luz, Israel) where he had an amazing dream about a ladder that stretched from earth to heaven with angels ascending and descending on it. When he awoke, he “was afraid and said, ‘What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God – the gateway to heaven!’” Jacob did not seek to open a Stargate to heaven, God initiated this spiritual experience.  Knock on a spiritual door you may not find the Living God and angels are not designed to lead revivals, the Holy Spirit is the One that gives anointing and gifts to who He wills, not angels. This is the question. Can Christians war and win against the powers of darkness through the authority that Jesus Christ gives to His Church? Can we take authority and bind these powers just as we do when we deliver the oppressed from evil spirits? Is territorial warfare a place where intercessors should tread?

Challenging our kids to ponder the reality of the afterlife is too often an overlooked component in raising emotionally healthy kids today. But what if you could tell your kids about someone who claims to have been there and then returned to earth to tell about it? Well, after today's program, you will have plenty to talk about with your kids concerning the afterlife. Today, we will be talking to someone who claims to have been there. Mary C. Neal, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, former director of spine surgery at the University of Southern California, a founding partner of the Orthopedic Associates of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and the author of 7 Lessons from Heaven and To Heaven and Back. Dr. Neal received her medical degree from the School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she also trained in general surgery before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Southern California. She has served as an elder in the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole, is a member of the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations, and created the Willie Neal Environmental Awareness Fund. More information about Dr. Neal and her books can be found at her website, drmarynealbooks.com. How Letting Kids Know About the Afterlife May Shape Their Faith When someone claims to have visited the afterlife, I think it is fair to teach our kids to sort through the claim and not automatically reject it. After all, we're expecting our kids to believe a lot of similar things from the Bible—not the least of which is the ultimate afterlife experience upon which our entire faith rests. That, of course, being the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Himself. If we're expected to believe—and expect our kids to believe—the account of Christ's death and resurrection from 2,000 years ago, then I think it's only fair to at least hear out someone who claims to have had a first-hand supernatural experience in contemporary times. I think that refusing to keep an open mind about it might prove us guilty of denying the very power that we claim our God possesses even today. It also puts us in a similar position as those people in Scripture who were forced to believe or refute the testimonies of those who claimed supernatural experiences back in the day. For me, the bottom line is this: Anything that could help build my faith or the faith of my children, I want to know about it. By the same token, anything that could clarify what I believe or even challenge it, I want to know about that too. Truth is a lifelong pursuit. Today, Dr. Mary C. Neal and I discuss her experience with the afterlife as we cover the following topics: Mary C. Neal's traumatic kayaking accident. What Mary learned during her life review. What Mary experienced while she was underwater. Is it true that she saw Jesus? Why she believes this experience happened to her. Why this miraculous story is relevant to you and your family. ear-death experiences have gotten a lot of attention lately. The 2014 movie Heaven Is for Real, about a young boy who told his parents he had visited heaven while he was having emergency surgery, grossed a respectable $91 million in the United States. The book it was based on, published in 2010, has sold some 10 million copies and spent 206 weeks on the New York Times best-seller list. Two recent books by doctors—Proof of Heaven, by Eben Alexander, who writes about a near-death experience he had while in a week-long coma brought on by meningitis, and To Heaven and Back, by Mary C. Neal, who had her NDE while submerged in a river after a kayaking accident—have spent 94 and 36 weeks, respectively, on the list. (The subject of The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven, published in 2010, recently admitted that he made it all up.)

WE DON'T DIE® Radio Show with host Sandra Champlain

#1 NY Times Bestselling Author of "To Heaven and Back" I was honored to have almost a full hour with Dr. Neal. Wow, what an incredible story. A spine surgeon who was without air over 15 minutes upside down in a kayak in South America. Surprisingly she survived with no brain injury yet plenty of injuries to her physical body. However, her near death experience, her 'life review' and all the things she 'saw' in the hereafter, were incredibly mind-blowing to me. You'll enjoy hearing her experiences and what she came to believe life is for. Never a religious person and a previous 'skeptic' Dr. Mary Neal leads a whole different kind of life based on that experience. She's a very wise, pragmatic and fun lady! She's appeared on the Today Show, Fox & Friends, Dr. Oz, Katie Couric and now, Sandra Champlain's We Don't Die radio show! Truly an honor and awesome interview. Hope you enjoy it! -Sandra
