AI pullback a buying opportunity? GinsGlobal's Ginsberg says yes

GinsGlobal Index Fund CEO Anthony Ginsberg joined Stephen Gunnion in the Proactive studio to discuss his outlook for AI, blockchain, defence tech and global megatrends through the lens of the HAN-GINS Tech Megatrend Equal Weight UCITS ETF. Ginsberg addressed the recent pullback in AI and tech shares, describing it as “more of a speed bump” rather than a structural downturn. He said the fund views the weakness as a buying opportunity, noting that artificial intelligence is still in its early stages and expanding into cybersecurity, cloud computing, robotics and biotech. He highlighted the ETF's equal-weight structure as a key differentiator, with an average PE ratio of around 21 times earnings compared to the Nasdaq's roughly 34 times. According to Ginsberg, “the problem has been that you've got this very narrowness in the market with these mag seven,” adding that broader opportunities are emerging across undervalued subthemes. The discussion also covered the addition of defence tech and quantum computing. Ginsberg pointed to strong momentum in defence tech, saying the theme has risen more than 25% since December, driven by increased US government outsourcing and strategic priorities. Quantum computing, while still in its early stage, is gaining importance due to Pentagon backing and national security applications. On blockchain, he noted it was the fund's best performer last year, up 33%, and stressed that the ETF focuses on infrastructure and ledger technology rather than cryptocurrencies. Looking at macro trends, Ginsberg remains optimistic, citing projected US GDP growth of 3–3.5%, easing inflation, fiscal stimulus and increased M&A activity as supportive tailwinds for growth stocks and tech megatrends. Before William S. Burroughs wrote anything significant, before Kerouac penned On the Road, before Ginsberg howled, Joan Vollmer was creating the space where it all happened. She was the intellectual engine. She challenged conventional thinking. She refused to live within the limits society set for women. She hosted, she provoked, she sharpened their minds. And Burroughs acknowledged it—in perhaps the most chilling way possible:"I am forced to the appalling conclusion that I would have never become a writer but for Joan's death."Some legacies are built on graves. Joan Vollmer deserves to be remembered for who she was, not just how she died.Say her name: Joan Vollmer. Intellectual. Host. Provocateur. Mother. Anthony Ginsberg, CEO of GinsGlobal Index Fund, recently spoke with Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the strong performance of technology-focused subthemes within the firm's global investment strategy, highlighting blockchain as the standout performer over the past year. Ginsberg explained that among the fund's ten technology subthemes—which include artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing, blockchain, cybersecurity, gene editing, and defense technology—blockchain delivered the strongest returns, generating a gain of approximately 33% during the previous year. He noted that several other subthemes also produced double-digit returns, reflecting sustained investor interest and growing capital flows into innovation-driven sectors. Cybersecurity, cloud computing, gene editing, and defense technology were among the areas that posted particularly strong performance. According to Ginsberg, these sectors continue to benefit from structural growth drivers, increasing enterprise adoption, and heightened geopolitical and digital security concerns. Looking ahead, Ginsberg said the firm expects increased merger and acquisition activity, especially in the cloud, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity spaces, where mid- and small-cap company valuations remain attractive. He added that consolidation could act as an additional catalyst for returns as larger players seek to expand capabilities and market share. Ginsberg also pointed to supportive macroeconomic conditions, including a weakening U.S. dollar and the prospect of interest rate cuts, which tend to favor growth-oriented equities. He emphasized that current valuation multiples remain well below the levels seen during the dot-com era, suggesting that today's technology markets are fundamentally stronger and less speculative. Turning to artificial intelligence, Ginsberg expressed optimism around accelerating corporate adoption, drawing parallels to the rapid shift toward cloud computing in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also highlighted the increasing convergence of AI with gaming and social media platforms, as well as the rapid emergence of defense technology as a key growth area closely linked to cybersecurity. “The cybersecurity market is growing at nearly 20% per year, and we expect it to double in size within four years,” Ginsberg said, noting the strong interconnection between cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and defense technologies. Overall, the discussion underscored how GinsGlobal Index Fund is positioning its portfolio to maintain diversified exposure to long-term global megatrends across technology and innovation, while seeking to capitalize on both structural growth and evolving market conditions. #TechMegatrendETF, #AnthonyGinsberg, #FourthIndustrialRevolution, #AI, #Cybersecurity, #CloudComputing #CyberSecurity #TechInvesting #Blockchain #QuantumComputing #GinsGlobal #AnthonyGinsberg #CloudComputing #DefenseTech #TechnologyETFs #Investing2024 #ProactiveInvestors #GrowthStocks #TechTrends #IndexFunds

Episode Overview: In our inaugural This Week in Pharmacy, we examine the economic, technological, and policy-driven forces transforming pharmacy practice and the U.S. drug supply chain. From hidden financial power structures and AI-enabled operations to federal policy shifts impacting biosimilars, this episode brings together three timely conversations that every pharmacy leader should hear. Segment 1: The Hidden Lender in America's Drug Supply Chain Guests: Antonio Ciaccia, President, 3 Axis Advisors Alec Ginsberg, Founder, The Drugstore Cowboy Building on Alec Ginsberg's investigative article, “The Hidden Lender in America's Drug Supply Chain,” this discussion exposes how capital flows, credit structures, and opaque financial relationships influence pharmacy viability. Ciaccia and Ginsberg break down what independent pharmacists need to understand about who truly controls leverage in the system—and why transparency matters more than ever.   Segment 2: How AI Is Transforming Pharmacy Operations Guests: Harry Travis, BS Pharm, MBA, President, The Travis Group Amanda Awe, PharmD, Clinical Product Consultant, Curatio Advisors Artificial intelligence is no longer theoretical in pharmacy—it's operational. This segment explores how AI is being deployed today to improve workflow efficiency, clinical decision-making, and patient engagement, while addressing the real-world challenges of adoption. Segment 3: Policy Watch – IRA, Trump-Era Rx Changes & Biosimilars Guest: Jessica Daley, PharmD In this special policy-focused feature, Dr. Daley unpacks upcoming IRA-related developments and potential Trump-era prescription drug policy changes, with a sharp focus on how they could impact biosimilars and the U.S. supply chain. The conversation highlights what pharmacists should watch closely as regulatory and political pressures continue to evolve.   Inside the Forces Reshaping America's Drug Supply Chain | TWIRx    Thanks to NimbleRx, PRISM by OvaryIT, and Sykes & Company for sponsorsing today's show

Anthony Ginsberg, CEO of GinsGlobal Index Fund, recently spoke with Steve Darling from Proactive about the latest developments shaping the Tech Megatrend ETF and the powerful forces driving performance across some of the world's fastest-moving technology sectors. Ginsberg outlined how the fund continues to evolve in step with emerging innovation while benefiting from broad macroeconomic tailwinds. Ginsberg explained that the ETF has recently expanded its thematic coverage to include both defense technology and quantum computing, further diversifying its exposure to high-growth innovation areas. These additions complement the fund's established themes, which include cloud computing, digital entertainment, blockchain, and social media. He highlighted blockchain as a standout performer, noting that the segment has risen more than 50%. “Blockchain… has been up over 50%,” Ginsberg said, adding that strong contributions from digital entertainment and cloud computing have also supported overall performance. He also pointed to growing strength in genomics and gene editing, emphasizing how artificial intelligence is transforming research and development activity across biotechnology. Ginsberg explained that AI is dramatically accelerating drug discovery and development timelines, allowing technologies such as CRISPR gene editing to advance far more rapidly than traditional pharmaceutical approaches. This convergence of AI and biotech, he noted, is creating a powerful new growth engine within the broader tech ecosystem. Beyond sector-specific trends, Ginsberg discussed several macro factors providing tailwinds for the technology market. These include easing inflation, the expectation of interest rate cuts, a weaker U.S. dollar, and a pickup in mergers and acquisitions as regulatory conditions shift. He cited Netflix's acquisition of Warner Brothers as an example of the ongoing global convergence across digital media and content platforms, a trend he believes is still in its early stages. He also noted that valuations in small- and mid-cap technology companies remain attractive relative to long-term growth potential. Looking ahead to 2026, Ginsberg sees continued expansion of artificial intelligence across multiple verticals, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, hyperscalers, and digital entertainment. He added that surging demand for data-center infrastructure is providing strong underlying support for this growth, reinforcing the long-term investment case for the technology megatrend. #TechMegatrendETF, #AnthonyGinsberg, #FourthIndustrialRevolution, #AI, #Cybersecurity, #CloudComputing, #SocialMedia, #FutureCars, #Robotics, #InterestRateCuts, #Diversification, #GlobalHoldings, #Nasdaq,

More than 25 years after his tragic death, John F. Kennedy Jr. remains one of the most captivating figures in American public life. He was handsome, charming, and born into political royalty — and when he died in a plane crash in 1999, he was fighting to save George, his glossy political magazine, and weighing a run for New York governor. Ryan Murphy is producing American Love Story, a new series about John and his wife Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy; some QAnon conspiracy theorists believe JFK Jr. is still alive; and CNN has just released the first episode of a three-part documentary series called American Prince: JFK. Jr.  So why can't we look away? Why are John and Carolyn still objects of fascination, speculation, and even conspiracy? What does our continued obsession say about us — and about American political culture? Kara talks to Gary Ginsberg and Carole Radziwill, two close friends of John and Carolyn who are featured in American Prince. series. They both bring a lifetime of experience working in media, and reflect on the lives behind the legend, the media scrutiny that shaped their legacy, and how myth and reality collided in the story of John and Carolyn. Ginsberg met John at Brown University, and he was the senior editor and legal counsel at George magazine. Ginsberg went on to become an assistant counsel to President Clinton and a senior executive at News Corp and Time Warner. He understands the inner workings of media and politics as well as anyone. He was also a consulting producer on American Prince and the author of First Friends: The Powerful, Unsung (And Unelected) People Who Shaped Our Presidents. Radziwill is a former journalist. Her work at ABC News won a Peabody and multiple Emmys. She's also a former cast member of the Real Housewives of New York and her late husband, Anthony Radziwill, was JFK Jr.'s cousin and best friend. Radziwill is the author of three books, including the bestselling memoir, What Remains, and she recently launched a newsletter on Substack, Life with Carole Radziwill.  Questions? Comments? Bil shares a funny anecdote about his last haircut being during the pandemic and a Jim Morrison quote about bad haircuts. Paris then reminisces about how she first met Bil years ago at a convention in Las Vegas, even before their more memorable meeting at Leica, a detail she didn't recall until much later. Bil then discusses his "Black and Gray" magazine, which is making a comeback, and mentions his collaboration with Matt Mercury, who will be an associate publisher.Bil delves into his diverse professional background, starting with his MFA in avant-garde poetry from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, a Buddhist college. He recounts how he became a photographer by accident after working for a modeling agency and shares fascinating stories about meeting comedian Jeff Garlin and being introduced to Robert Frank by Allen Ginsberg. He also details his involvement with the Ginsberg archive at Stanford, where he photographed Ginsberg's India journals with his Leica. The conversation then shifts to Bil's 15-year career as an agent, where his major client was Amazon Fashion, overseeing 600+ photographers, stylists, and digitechs across numerous studios. He reveals the shocking reason for the end of his relationship with Amazon: they were using his talent to train their AI, and then proposed a "collab agreement" where he would pay them to hire his talent, which he refused.Inspired by these experiences, Bil shares his new "vow of photography," mirroring his earlier "vow of poetry" to "make the world safe for photography" in the face of AI. He emphasizes the importance of content credentials in cameras like the Leica M11-P to prove authenticity. They touch upon the controversial situation surrounding Nick Ut's iconic photo and the ongoing debate about attribution. Bil also discusses his family history, including his Cherokee great-grandfather and his surprising connection to the wealthy Brown family of Louisville, Kentucky. He closes by sharing a poem from his Kerouac School days and his vision for the revived "Black and Gray" magazine, aiming to feature both renowned and emerging artists while incorporating street photography ethics into editorial work.Show Notes:www.theparischongshow.com/episodes/bil-brown-from-avant-garde-poetry-fashion-photography-black-gray-magazine-to-art-aiChapters:(00:00:00) Intro(00:00:28) Bil Brown(00:02:21) Black & Grey(00:11:22) Amazon(00:13:14) Vow of Photography(00:16:20) Magnum(00:19:28) #1 Dad(00:21:58) 100 Years of Leica Block Party(00:24:11) Black & Grey Reissue(00:29:43) Street Photographers(00:34:20) Thoughts on AI(00:39:57) Film vs Digital(00:46:32) Outro

Welcome to our new series, “The Beat Goes On,” where we will celebrate the work and enduring influence of Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs, and the other writers whom we identify as “The Beats.” - that crop of artists who worked to expand our consciousness, exploring the hidden possibilities of post WW2 America in the 1950s - Other significant names to be explored: Diane Di Prima, Tuli Kupferberg, Ed Sanders, Delmore Schwarz, Anne Waldman, Carolyn Cassidy, and many others. We will also include jazz musicians like Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Dizzy Gillespie, whose sinuous Bebop lines influenced the expansive prose of Kerouac and poetry of Ginsberg, and comedians like Lenny Bruce, Lord Buckley, Brother Theodore and Dick Gregory with their scathing critique and unmasking of our nation's hypocrisy beneath the self-deceptive rhetoric of American exceptionalism.  And, then there are their artistic children like Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Bukowski, Tom Waits and Lou Reed…. The list goes on.First off: we need to define that confusing term “beat”… Once the satirists were able to pin them down, the Beats and their devotees were labelled “Beatniks” (a cold war epithet) and put into a farcical box. This is where I, as a child, first became aware of them through the character of Maynard G. Krebs on the Dobie Gillis show. The child-like, pre-hippie with the dirty sweatshirt and goatee, indelibly played by Bob Denver, later of Gilligan fame. He was a gentle figure of fun, not to be taken seriously. But, the truth goes so much deeper. Kerouac defined Beat as short for “beatitude” - a state of grace, a codex for the maturing “peace and love” Baby Boom generation coming up - those in search of existence's deeper meaning beyond the consumerist and war-like American culture being offered as our only option.Well, boy, do we need them now! HENRY MILLER INTERVIEWOur inaugural offering is a 1964 interview with the writer Henry Miller, of TROPIC OF CANCER, TROPIC OF CAPRICORN, and THE ROSY CRUCIFIXION TRILOGY fame, among many others. This is an insightful, in depth look at a artist of gargantuan influence. Miller was interviewed by Audrey June Wood  in Minneapolis during a speaking tour; he considered this interview to be one of his best. Miller discourses on some of his favorite books and authors and the struggle of writing well. It was released on Smithsonian/ Folkways Records.Strictly speaking, Miller was not a Beat - he preceded them, and out lived many of them, making it to 88 in 1980, but he was their spiritual and artistic pathfinder.Living hand to mouth, on the edge, abroad in Paris, writing free form in a raw, explicit, semi-autobiographical manner, telling the truth about sex, love, art, and struggle - he set the artistic compass for the Beats - as Dostoevsky and Walt Whitman had done before him. They are all part of a chain - a chain of searchers, and we are fortunate to have these lights to guide us on our own personal journeys to self realization. Please enjoy…THE BEAT GOES ON.

Send us a textI am truly excited about this new segment brought to ya' by Ochsner's Childrens' Hospital! Milk-Bank Miracles with Dr. Harley Ginsberg will shine light on what the NICU is and what hospitals do to keep our little, itty bitty nuggets alive! It really is miraculous.  Dr. Ginsberg is the founder and medical director of Mothers' Milk Bank of Louisiana at Ochsner Baptist. He has written chapters for medical textbooks on neonatology and has published scientific medical articles in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of Perinatology, and Clinics in Perinatology among others. Dr. Ginsberg's professional interests include the use of donor human milk to prevent neonatal intestinal disease as well as the role of human milk in infection prevention.  I am blown away by this opportunity to partner with him and open a window for our audience to learn more not only about his Mother's Milk-Bank but also the guided hand to learn about the NICU! (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.)To learn more about this go to: www.ochsner.org_______________________________________________________________________________________________Then later we welcome New Orleans Council Member Lesli Harris to hear about what our city is doing to combat our homeless crisis. I met Council Member Harris one hot and blazey summer afternoon and since then, she has graced our show with her smile and passion for our city. I was so inspired by her devotion in this area of SO MANY areas to focus on. I learned by our interview that over 200 individuals have been rehabilitated through the "Home For Good Program" (https://homeforgoodneworleans.org)                                        Over 1,000 individuals have been taken off the street and ARE GIVEN recourses in all aspects of life; not to only get them off the streets, but to give them dignity, confidence and motivation to get back up and make the next day better than the last. I wish you could see Council Member Lesli Harris' eyes when she presents the raw data, stats and numbers that really are jolting. There were a couple of topics that we didn't see quite eye to eye, but that is what civil dialogue is and unfortunately has been lost in our country for some time now.  I came to her with urgency because of a situation that happened with me and my family in the Marigny a couple of months back. It startled me, and I felt helpless. I don't like that feeling, ESPECIALLY when my babies are with me.  My fear is that if the homeless numbers don't fall, the Governor will come in without warning and sweep the city before the city council, mayor, police chief etc. can do one thing. I am encouraged by the newly released nola.com article that showed Council Member Lesli's vision. IS WORKING. And that bottom line is all I truly worry about. Her candor, smile and authenticity won me over from the beginning and I am still living for it. THANK YOU COUNCIL MEMBER HARRIS! Read the article I spoke about here,  Lesli Harris: New Orleans' homeless efforts are workingThank you to our family of amazing sponsors! The great Gene Meyer (@genemeyelol on the socials) of Bandit fame returns to the pod to discuss Vernon the Company Man. We get literary with some associations to Kerouac, Ginsberg, Arthur Miller, but we even it out with jokes about PRimus shirts being more effective than chastity belts. This tune is certainly a unique departure in terms of this record, but also for Claypool in general, thanks to excellent tabla and sitar provided by Mike Dillon and Gabby La La, respectively. Send us a textThis week we have a couple of great Local interviews! Ochsner Children's Hospital has been one of our anchoring sponsors for years now and for our fifth season, We have created a BRAND NEW SEGMENT called         "A Mother's Giving: & the Milk Bank of Louisiana with Dr. Harley Ginsberg."Dr. Ginsberg is board certified in both pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1987. He served as both the Section Head of neonatal medicine at Ochsner and the Medical Director of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Ochsner Baptist Medical Center from 1989 until 2021. Dr. Ginsberg managed the team at Ochsner that took care of babies during Hurricane Katrina. Currently he is Medical Director of the NICU at Ochsner Kenner Medical Center. Dr. Ginsberg is the Founder and Medical Director of Mothers Milk Bank of Louisiana at Ochsner Baptist and is a member of the Standards Committee for the Human Milk Banking Association of North America. He has written chapters for medical textbooks on neonatology and has published scientific medical in articles in the New England Journal of Medicine, Pediatrics, Journal of Perinatology and Clinics in Perinatology. Fully accredited by the Human Milk Banking Association of North America, Mothers' Milk Bank of Louisiana at Ochsner Baptist was Louisiana's first human milk bank and the 24th nonprofit milk bank in the United States. Preterm infants are at risk for a condition called necrotizing enterocolitis, which results in inflamed intestines, bacterial infection and damage to the colon and intestines. Without proper care, the infant may die.Pasteurized donor human milk helps offset these potential dangers. Unfortunately, some mothers of preterm infants cannot produce their own milk. That's where Mothers' Milk Bank of Louisiana steps in.As of August 2020, Louisiana provides Medicaid coverage for using pasteurized donor human milk in a hospital. In 2022, Louisiana legislators approved inpatient and outpatient coverage for pasteurized donor human milk. Listen as Dr. Ginsberg and I dive into the Milk bank of Louisiana and hear the powerful impacts it has on our community and state! Go to https://www.ochsner.org/services/mothers-milk-bank-at-ochsner-baptist to learn more or to make a donation today!______________________________________________________________________________________________Then later we welcome back DIRTY DOGS! The local documentary making big waves in our city yall. Not only did the documentary chronicle the heated monopoly on New Orleans' food cart licenses for the French Quarter. What WAS a half century monopoly was essentially ended by a group of passionate film makers that felt convicted to MAKE THINGS RIGHT.  I am so excited to welcome restauranteur and host Brad Bohannan and Cinematographer, Adrian Sosebee to talk about their HOLLYWOOD AWARD they just received in  Beverly Hills! Brad also talks to us about his latest venture with his inspirational wife, Jefferson Parrish Council Person, Arita Bohannan. Together and with a village behind them, they work to bring inclusive and autistic friendly playgrounds to neighborhoods and communities tThank you to our family of amazing sponsors! Over the years, elite institutions shifted from fostering open debate to enforcing ideological conformity. But as guest Ilya Shapiro puts it, “the pendulum is swinging back.” He shares his firsthand experience with cancel culture and how the American Bar Association's policies influence legal education. Shapiro also opines on major free speech cases before the Supreme Court, including the TikTok ownership battle and Texas' age verification law for adult content. Shapiro is a senior fellow and director of constitutional studies at the Manhattan Institute. He previously (and briefly) served as executive director and senior lecturer at the Georgetown Center for the Constitution and as a vice president at the Cato Institute. His latest book, “Lawless: The Miseducation of America's Elites,” is out now. Enjoy listening to our podcast? On Friday's Mark Levin Show, the attack on America from within continues with Democrats attacking the Supreme Court and Conservative Justices like Thomas and Alito while ignoring corrupt conduct from liberal justices like Sotomayor and Ginsberg. Radical leftists are trying to destroy this court because of the Dobbs decision and are using the media to spread their hate. Also, Iran is on the doorstep of having a nuclear weapon thanks to the Biden Administration. Iran more than likely is already capable of nukes, but they are waiting until after the election in November to announce it to help Biden. Later, Mark speaks with Washington Free Beacon journalist Adam Kredo to discuss Iran's Ties to the 'Palestine Chronicle' and the Biden Administration's lack of reaction to this news. Finally, Mark is joined by 2024 presidential candidate and Governor Doug Burgum to talk about the Marxist green energy policies under the Biden Administration which will result in brownouts and blackouts, as well as his background in business and time as Governor of North Dakota.
