A late August home invasion on Hillbrook Avenue in Henrico County ended with the death of 44-year-old Earl Young Jr. Young's alleged killers were caught on surveillance cameras not too far from the murder, just seconds after the shooting. "If you've got videotape of somebody with a firearm after an offense or going into it, that's just gold for a prosecutor," CBS 6 legal analyst Todd Stone said. Crime Insider sources say detectives developed good leads on the suspect killers and took that information to a grand jury on Monday. Chapter 1
The BC Liberals are angry with the Union of BC Municipalities, because their engagement sessions with conference delegates will not receive publicity on the convention's agenda. In a letter sent by UBCM President, Arjun Singh, to MLA, Todd Stone, Singh wrote: “we officially do not advertise events that are outside our Convention program unless there is a sponsorship of some nature.” On Monday's show, we told you that the Chinese consulate is receiving publicity for its events, having paid a $6,000 sponsorship fee. China's attendance has been criticised by Port Coquitlam Mayor, Brad West, who says it amounts to ‘cash-for-access'. Meanwhile, the exclusion of the BC Liberals from the program is raising eyebrows from those who feel the official Opposition should have its events promoted to municipal politicians who may want to attend their sessions. Guest: Todd Stone BC Liberals MLA for Kamloops-South Thompson

Today I'm excited to finally sit down and chat with Dr. Todd Stone. He was a Chiropractor that unknowingly bucked the system by treating (and healing) his patients with muscle testing, plant medicine, curiosity and kindness. From there, his life began to unfold into something he'd never quite imagined. Learning that sometimes you just have to surrender, his healing work has evolved into what it is today - a plant medicine, donation based practice which he refers to as Care without Expectations. You'll learn a little bit about why he chose to move into a more natural way of healing, why he treated his own appendicitis, how an auto-immune disease forced him to accept his feminine side and you'll learn about some of his incredible plant based products he offers through his practice, True Health. On Mar. 17, B.C. Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Todd Stone unveiled the latest 10-year transportation plan. The plan, named ‘B.C. on the Move,’ outlined projects and initiatives across B.C., including several new ones near Revelstoke. The Revelstoke Mountaineer covered the local angle in our Mar. 23 story titled, New B.C. transportation plan: What it means for Revelstoke area. The feature story explored local aspects of the plan including a new Trans-Canada Highway four-laning project, variable speed signage, avalanche control plans, some reaction to the plan, and much more. On Mar. 26, we spoke with minister Stone on the phone, and have provided that audio interview below. In this interview, we get more details on plans for the Revelstoke area. Topics include: -details on plans for variable speed LED signs west of Revelstoke that will slow traffic during serious weather -plans to improve highway closure times by possible bringing a coroner and police highway reconstructionist to the area -enhanced, ‘intelligent’ systems to better manage highway closures -some perspective on long-term plans and budget for four-laning the Trans-Canada Highway from Kamloops to the Alberta border
