“Hey everybody, welcome back to When Words Fail, Music Speaks—the spot where we turn beats into‑beacons for anyone wrestling with the ups and downs of life. I'm your host, James Cox, and today we're thrilled to have a very special guest back on the show: Marq Electronica, the genre‑bending producer and vocalist who first joined us in episode 444.Since our last chat, Marq's sound has taken a wild ride. He's migrated from gritty trip‑hop and grime‑laden urban beats to a brighter, disco‑house vibe that still carries the weight of his introspective lyrics about insecurity, loss, and resilience. We'll hear him break down the story behind his new single “Be There,” a dance‑floor anthem that masks a deep craving for reassurance, and explore the darker, more personal tracks “Ether” and “Calling You,” which grapple with the loss of his father.Marq also opens up about the real‑life challenges that have shaped his journey: a fraught legal battle with his brother, a partner's serious illness, overwhelming caseloads at his day‑job, and the relentless pressure of finances. He'll reveal the turning point that finally let him laugh again—how community support, fresh gigs, and a stable job helped him step out of his shell and refocus on himself. We'll dive into his creative process, from hunting the perfect drum loop at 125 BPM to layering percussive textures that keep a track alive, and we'll hear the quirky “studio snack” confession that keeps his energy high. Plus, Mark shares what he's chasing beyond music—Tai Chi, storytelling, and a long‑overdue night of proper sleep.Stick around for his upcoming live gig in November—where he'll be spinning house tracks in the lounge of a Westlife concert arena—plus a reminder to check out his website markelectronica.com for new videos, merch, and the pre‑sale of his April 30th release. If you've ever felt stuck, unheard, or just need a rhythm to move through the dark, this episode is for you. So press play, breathe deep, and let the music do what words can't.

Greenvolt Next, part of Greenvolt Group, a leading specialist in renewable energy solutions for the commercial and industrial sector, has announced the creation of 90 new jobs – 50 of which will be based at its Waterford headquarters. Over the next 12 months, the company will be recruiting mid-level to senior managers to support its operations in Ireland and the UK. Roles will include project engineers, senior project engineers, project managers and site managers. These new positions are part of a significant investment into the company's expansion, talent acquisition strategy and future growth plans. This funding will also go towards the further development of Greenvolt Next's existing Waterford HQ, which is being increased by 2176 sq ft and will be equipped with the latest technologies. In turn, the expanded team will enable Greenvolt Next to deliver more large-scale projects, supporting developers and landowners in advancing renewable assets, while meeting the increasing demand for green energy solutions in the Irish and UK markets. As an organisation, Greenvolt Next supports businesses with their renewable energy transformations. It is responsible for some of Ireland's largest and most innovative renewable energy projects, including Sanofi Waterford solar farm. It also works with leading retailers including Lidl, Aldi and Tesco. Over the next three years, Greenvolt Next forecasts significant increase in revenue following accelerated market growth. This will be driven by the rising demand for sustainable and renewable energy, as well as requirements around CSRD reporting. Specifically, the organisation anticipates growing demand for solar panel installations and battery storage projects over the next 12 months. In 2025, Greenvolt Next reduced customer CO2 emissions by 30,000 tonnes, with a further reduction of 150,000 tonnes of CO2 projected over the next three years as demand for renewable energy soars. Owen Power, CEO of Greenvolt Next Ireland & UK, commented: "Our success to date has been driven by our ability to deliver the most reliable and cost-effective energy solutions to customers, underpinned by unmatched resources and expertise. Looking to the future, which will only see greater demand for such projects, we want to continue making a tangible impact for businesses and the environment. "That means investing in operations, growing the team and innovating for customers. As well as marking the next stage in our own journey, this will allow us to make renewable energy easy for more organisations across Ireland and the UK. In turn, they will not only be more sustainable but also more successful." Greenvolt Next operates within a dynamic and agile environment. As a growing international Group also focused on Utility-Scale and Sustainable Biomass projects, Greenvolt Next offers opportunities for professional development, enabling people to contribute to projects with tangible impact, supporting the advancement of the energy transition. The AI Breakdown: Daily Artificial Intelligence News and Discussions

The AI jobs debate has spent years asking which roles will disappear. This weekend long-read asks the more important question: what becomes possible when AI expands the amount of useful work the economy can support? NLW lays out a first-principles case for why better AI does not simply mean less human work, exploring how cheaper services, broader access, continuous support, personalization, and human trust can create new demand. From there, he introduces the “human premium” that remains even as AI capabilities advance, then uses healthcare to show how entire new categories of work could emerge in an AI-enabled economy.Companion experience: https://play.aidailybrief.ai/episodes/ai-jobs-and-the-demand-frontier/ April AI Usage Pulse Survey: https://tally.so/r/LZEyGySee previous results: https://pulse.aidailybrief.ai/Check out the new AI Executive Catch-Up Program from AIDB Training: https://aiexecutivecatchup.com/Also registering for Cohort 3: http://enterpriseclaw.ai/Brought to you by:KPMG – Agentic AI is powering a potential $3 trillion productivity shift, and KPMG's new paper, Agentic AI Untangled, gives leaders a clear framework to decide whether to build, buy, or borrow—download it at www.kpmg.us/NavigateGranola - The AI notepad for people in back-to-back meetings. 100% off your first 3 months with code AIDAILY at http://granola.ai/aidailyMercury - Modern banking for business and now personal accounts. Team NEO 2025 Performance & Impact Annual ReportThe headline numbers from Team NEO's new 2025 jobs report include nearly 3,000 new jobs, more than $450 million in capital investments, and 92 business investments across Northeast Ohio. The report also highlights the rollout of the JobsOhio Relocation Incentive Program, which offers businesses up to $15,000 for making successful hires in certain industries, with a focus on STEM and technical roles. There's also the expansion of LayerZero, a manufacturer for power systems like data centers. The company is opening a new facility in Portage County that expects to create 535 new jobs. At the same time, new federal trade policies could affect Northeast Ohio's economic outlook. A 10% U.S. tariff on most global imports took effect Tuesday, despite President Donald Trump's earlier pledge to set the rate at 15%. And findings from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland say that tariffs are contributing to price increases across Ohio and parts of Pennsylvania, Kentucky and West Virginia. Vertiv, a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, today announced the planned expansion of its manufacturing operations in Derry and County Donegal, creating several hundred new jobs over the next six months in support of strengthening the company's manufacturing capabilities in electrical switchgear. The facilities support customers worldwide, as demand for these power systems continues to accelerate alongside AI adoption. Paul Ryan, president of Vertiv in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), highlighted the strategic importance of the investment for both the company and the region, saying: "This expansion represents a major vote of confidence in the skilled workforce and business environment of the Northwest region. The expansion of the facilities and creation of these roles in Derry and County Donegal will increase our manufacturing capacity and enable us to deliver critical digital infrastructure at scale and speed." The new positions are being created to meet immediate operational requirements driven by strong growth across Vertiv's global markets. Roles will support the company's expanding production of electrical switchgear ? critical components used in data centres, communication networks, and industrial applications worldwide. Opportunities will span manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and support functions across Vertiv's three manufacturing facilities in the region: Campsie in Derry, and Burnfoot and Letterkenny in County Donegal. The majority of the roles will be for electricians, panel wirers, mechanical fitters, and general operators, with both full- and part-time opportunities available. Vertiv offers competitive pay, and recently enhanced its already strong employee benefits package. The investment reinforces Vertiv's long-term commitment to the region and reflects confidence in the local talent pool, infrastructure, and strategic location for serving international markets. The hiring increase will add to the more than 2,000 current Vertiv employees across Ireland. More information on roles available can be found at Vertiv.com/careers. Big economic news dropped last week: labor data, inflation rates, and huge jobs revisions. All of these are already impacting the housing market, but could new numbers cause an even greater shift that could affect your mortgage rate, your rents, and your next deal? Rental property owners, agents, sellers, and buyers: this news affects what you're doing right now. New labor data beat the odds, with a surprising amount of hirings. But, with many of those hirings concentrated in a few specific fields, investors in markets with this line of work will need to watch carefully. And it wasn't all good news—the largest jobs number revision in over a decade happened last week. The number of overreported jobs? It changes the picture entirely. A strong labor market could mean stagnant mortgage rates, but inflation data might just come in to save the day. With lower inflation readings, could the Fed get the confidence to cut once again?  Finally, we'll talk about exactly which types of homes will sell and which will stagnate on the market. One type of property is flying off the proverbial shelf, so if you can build, renovate, or rent it, you could be in luck. For the rest of investors, Dave has some cautious words of wisdom that could save you if this economic trend continues. In This Episode We Cover Off by nearly 1,000,000 jobs: Inside the largest jobs number revision in over a decade  New inflation rate readings and whether we're trending in the right direction More moves for mortgage rates? Labor market reports released after the government shutdown present a mixed picture for the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision on December 10.On a positive note, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported 119,000 new jobs were added in September on a seasonally adjusted basis, more than double what many economists expected, but there was a downward revision of 33,000 jobs combined for July and August. The unemployment rate was 4.4% in September. It remained low by historical standards, but it was higher than any period since late-2017 other than 2020-2021 which was impacted by the pandemic.Another good sign is that initial unemployment insurance claims remained at a normal level through the week ending November 15 despite announcements of layoffs from several prominent companies.Unfortunately, continued claims for unemployment were up by approximately 100,000 from the prior year. As of November 8, the weekly level reached almost 2 million and it was the highest since 2021. The trend suggests those losing their job are having a harder time finding their next role.Explore our webpage for more insights and resources:https://bit.ly/Radix_Website
