This episode is a winner! Joe Lauzon joins me on the 7 Figure CEO podcast to talk about his journey to the UFC, and the systems that enabled his Academy: Lauzon MMA (Raynham, MA) to become the massive success that it is today.Mr. Lauzon is a 26x UFC Veteran, has his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, is a father, and one of my A-Team clients. Starting his training at the age of 16 he instantly took a liking to No-Gi Grappling. Several years later he graduated with a degree in Computer Science. It's that analytical mind that allowed him to prioritize his personal development over his love of video games. Lauzon MMA has been in business for 12 years and has an active count of more than 300 students. During Covid, his Academy got a huge upgrade; moving from a 5,000 sq ft facility to 7,500 sq ft. facility. Mr. Lauzon also participated in my Jitz University program, which helped him to refine his children's program into what it is today. He expressed that the systems he learned are not only built to be replicated but also will allow him to expand into additional academies in the coming years. He discusses how he's found a way to leverage his social media presence into referrals and a steady stream of new members. Among many other key attributes of his success, he has embraced the power of Time-Blocking, and is an advocate for “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants,” since he knows that Mentors can help you get to where you're going faster.Have a listen to this episode; I know you'll love it!

On this episode of The Fighter's Voice, Richard Ortiz and UFC Veteran and Co-Host Cole Esovedo (Apache Kid) interview Roberto Diaz. Roberto A. Diaz is a 48-year-old matchmaker for one of the leading boxing promoters in the world, Golden Boy Promotions. Golden Boy Promotions is a company founded and owned by 1992 Gold Medalist & 10-time World Champion Oscar “The Golden Boy” De La Hoya. Diaz has worked with numerous gifted athletes, including some of the best in boxing history such as Bernard Hopkins, Marco Antonio Barrera, Ricky Hatton, Erik Morales, Sugar Shane Mosley, and Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs. He strongly believes that boxing is a sport that - like many other sports - requires hard work, will, and dedication. He also believes that boxing is serious and can be dangerous if not taken with discipline. His bottom line is “You Don't Play Boxing.” Diaz has been working for Golden Boy Promotions for nine years now, and he loves it like it was still his first day because every day brings something new. His roles are to make fights, which include matching the fighters, building them into world champions, and making fights that both fans and networks want to see. He says that his dreams come true are being able to work for such a legendary fighter and Hall of Famer like Oscar De La Hoya, as well as to sign some of the best talent from all over the world.
