When it comes to running a thriving business, it's not just the big moves that count—it's the small, consistent ones that truly build momentum.  In this episode, Danielle Hayden, CEO and founder of Kickstart Accounting, Inc., shares the financial micro habits that high-performing CEOs use to stay aligned with their goals, grow strategically, and stay empowered all year long without burning out or second-guessing every decision. Whether you're in a season of growth or a slower quarter, these habits can help you lead with clarity and confidence. Key Takeaways:  Automate for Success: Set up systems to automate your bookkeeping, savings, and financial analysis so you can focus on growth, not spreadsheets. Know Your Numbers Year-Round: Make tax planning a monthly habit, not a once-a-year panic. Know your estimates, and stash them away in a high-yield savings account. Pay Yourself Intentionally: Gradually increase your pay through sustainable salary and owner's draw strategies instead of inconsistent withdrawals. Consistency Over Trends: Stop pivoting your brand and offerings every quarter. Successful CEOs stay the course and master their strategy. They show up day after day, month after month, and put in the work.  Your Time Is Money: How long are you going to have to work to recoup the money spent on that new course of software? Knowing your hourly rate helps put a purchase into perspective and allows you to determine if that item is worth the price. Spend Strategically, Not for the Tax Write-Off: Only invest in tools, services, or experiences that actually move the needle for your business. If the value is not worth the price tag, then it's not worth the deduction.  Talk to Your Money Team: Your financial team is your secret weapon. Book those calls, ask questions, and use their insights to make confident decisions and future-focused strategies. Topics Discussed: The Importance of Goal-Based, Automated Savings  (00:45 – 03:51) How to Manage Monthly Tax Estimates Proactively (03:52 – 05:10) Growing How Much You Pay Yourself Over Time (05:10 - 06:03) Why Consistency Beats Trendy Business Strategies (06:03 – 08:28) The Importance of Knowing Your Hourly Rate (08:29 – 09:07) Spending Strategically, Not Only for the Tax Write-Off (09:08 – 09:53) Connecting with Your Full Money Team Regularly (09:55 – 14:23)   Resources: KSA Calculator | How Much to Pay Yourself as a Business Owner Build Your Money Team Episode | The 4 People You Want on Your Money Team All Our Episodes & Articles on Taxes | Tackle Your Taxes with Kickstart Accounting, Inc. Alright, let's get real for a minute. I'm spilling the beans on my very real attempt at 12 daily habits for success and happiness. And let me tell you, it's a journey, not a destination! Look, I'm a mom, I run a business, and life is…well, it's a beautiful chaos. I used to think I had to be this super-achiever, nailing every single thing, every single day. But honestly? That's just not sustainable, especially now. So, I created this list of 12 things I try to do. Key word: try. I want you to know, I don't hit all 12 every day. Sometimes, I'm lucky if I get a few done! But here's the thing: even a little bit makes a huge difference. I've seen it in my own life. These habits? They've helped me launch my physical planner, they keep me sane, and they make me happier. So, what are these magical habits? Let me break it down: Workout/Stretching: I aim for some kind of movement, even if it's just a walk. Reading Personal Development: Kindle app is my lifeline right now, especially during those early morning feedings. Goal Review: I keep my annual goals front and center. It helps me stay focused. Gratitude Journaling: Three things I'm grateful for, every single day. Affirmations: Positive self-talk is powerful, I promise. Writing/Journaling: Even a little bit of writing helps me process and connect. Hydration: I pre-fill my water bottles, otherwise, it's a lost cause. Top Priority Work: I dedicate time to my most important business tasks. Vitamins: Gotta take 'em! Quiet Time/Meditation: Even a few deep breaths make a difference. Green Smoothies: Sneaking in those veggies! Devotionals: It keeps me grounded. I'm sharing these habits with you because I want you to know that you're not alone in the struggle. We're all just trying to figure it out, one day at a time. And honestly, even the small wins add up. I'd love to hear from you! What are your daily habits? Which of these resonate with you? Come find me on Instagram (@annarunyan and @classycareergirl) and let's chat. And if you loved this episode, please leave a review on iTunes! It means the world. Remember, you're in control of your day, your mindset, and your dreams. You've got this!

At the Elevate Life Project, we are dedicated to inspiring people to achieve their goals and live their dreams to their highest potential. Aim higher. Elevate your life. Hello my friends. Welcome to another talk. Today, I want to discuss how empowering habits help us live our best lives. Empowering habits, like starting your day early, fuel your success. They boost your energy, focus, and confidence. Meditation and planning are empowering habits that enhance your mental clarity and productivity. Nourishing your body with healthy foods gives you the strength to tackle any challenge. Learning and self-improvement keep your mind sharp and open to new opportunities. On the other hand, inhibiting habits like procrastination drain your potential. Unhealthy eating habits can leave you feeling sluggish and unmotivated. Mindless scrolling steals your time and focus. Choose empowering habits and break free from inhibiting ones. Transform your life one habit at a time. Remember, every habit is a step towards the life you desire.
