    Memories over Macros

    A friendly reminder for all my listeners, sometimes those memories are more important than tracking those macros. It is so important to know the difference of when you need to be 100% on point and when you need to be more present in the moment, enjoying and living life. If you are constantly thinking about if you're hitting your nutrition, if you're getting your steps, in getting your workouts in, always getting your water in, really hitting all of your plan protocols all of the time. This can be a very unhealthy mindset that can lead to some serious side effects. If you continue down that road, it can lead to different disordered eating different, disordered mindsets. body issues, all sorts of things. If you're really trying to make your health a priority, that's not a journey you want to be on or something you want to have to heal and recover from.     Fitness Tracker Lies

    Are you on of those people who gauges the effectiveness of their workout off of their fitness tracker? Do you find yourself discouraged, or discounting the work and effort you put in because your calories burned isn't to a certain number or you forgot to start your watch for the first 10 minutes of your workout?  If so, I'm here to really challenge you today.It is time to STOP gauging your workouts off of your fitness trackers.     Muscle Soreness
