Riot police armed with batons and shields stood guard at the entrance. Some fans pleaded with officers to let them through the line. Fans were trying to enter the enclosed area that contains a big-screen television for viewing matches, places to buy beer, and little else. Riot police armed with batons and shields stood guard at the entrance. Some fans pleaded with officers to let them through the line. Moltzan was a member of the national team for many years and even won a gold medal at the 2015 World Junior Championships before getting dropped from the team a year later. After three successful seasons racing NCAA for the University of Vermont, she clawed her way back to the World Cup and thanks to some impressive performances earned a spot back on the national team for this coming season. Shannon Decker is Executive Director of The Speedy Foundation. The foundation was formed after Jeret "Speedy" Peterson died by suicide in July of 2011. Jeret was an American World Cup aerial skier and silver medalist at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The Speedy Foundation's mission is to prevent suicide, promote conversations to end stigma, and support mental health education. Shannon talks about the warning signs of suicide and what to do if someone you love is having thoughts of self-harm.
