All'intervallo piovono fischi per i bianconeri.

500 days to go until the 2026 World Cup! Jimmy Conrad and Tony Meola take a trip down memory lane with Charlie Davies, reflecting on their own preparations for World Cups of yesteryear (06:45). With Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie, and Yunus Musah lighting it up at their clubs, the guys debate: is the USMNT's midfield trio too good to drop for Mauricio Pochettino (14:57)? Josh Sargent marked his first start since October with a brace, but can the Norwich City striker leapfrog Folarin Balogun in the USMNT pecking order (30:45)? Hello Rank Squad! You heard the music, and we're back in Champions League mode as the newest era of the competition gets underway with the new Swiss League stage replacing the old group stages. The first day brought us plenty of goals, and plenty of talking points, and Jack and Dean are here to discuss all of them with you after the first six games of this matchweek. We start with Liverpool's trip to Milan, where Arne Slot's Reds were able to put the ghosts of Nottingham Forest behind them on the way to what was a comprehensive and important win at San Siro; before moving onwards to discuss the 9-2 hammering that Bayern Munich handed out to Dinamo Zagreb, and the game between Sporting CP and Lille OSC in Lisbon. In Part Two, we start with Real Madrid's 3-1 victory over VfB Stuttgart, which was very much not as easy on the Bernabeu pitch as it looked on paper, before discussing Aston Villa's successful trip to Bern, where they beat Young Boys 3-0 despite an artificial surface, and Juventus' crucial 3-1 win over PSV Eindhoven, which might have been the best performance of the season yet from Thiago Motta's new-look Bianconeri! We'll be back on Thursday to wrap up the action from the next two days of UCL action, so we'll see you very soon. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

Morning Footy: A daily soccer podcast from CBS Sports Golazo Network
The Morning Footy crew react to the reports that Juventus head coach Thiago Motta is looking to make roster changes before this upcoming season and several players have been left out of the plans moving forward. One player in particular that won't be part of the project moving forward is American Weston McKennie and was advised to find a new club. This is the second time in two seasons that this has been the case for McKennie. Previously, there were rumors that a move to FC Cincinnati was on the table but not much has been discussed. Hello Rank Squad! It's time for a return to one of our favourite staples on Ranks - those Players Who Need a Summer Move, and the clubs that we think should be absolutely desperate to get them in, because they'd fit so well. It's a bit of a bumper cast today - we have 12 different players to discuss, so we get straight into things! Our discussion starts with Manchester City's Kalvin Phillips, before we talk Liverpool's Caoimhin Kelleher, Aaron Ramsdale and Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal, still-officially-at-Chelsea Romelu Lukaku, Atletico Madrid's João Félix, Brentford's Ivan Toney, Barcelona's Raphinha, Juventus' Weston McKennie, also-still-officially-at-Chelsea Kepa Arrizabalaga, finishing with the Leverkusen duo of Sardar Azmoun and Adam Hlozek. Then, to wrap things up, Dean gives us the latest instalment from his New American Life segment, where he tells us about a successful attempt to finally get himself a cell phone. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?
Total Soccer Show: USMNT, EPL, MLS, Champions League and more ...
Your favorite semi-recurring series is back: it's Take It or Leave It time! We've got plenty of your takes to break down, including... 1) Getting rid of VAR entirely would be absolute nonsense 2) One of the Big 5 European leagues will become a “closed league” before MLS implements any form of promotion and relegation. 3) MLS will eventually have pro/rel but only by forming a North American Super league that both MLS and LigaMX promote into 4) Firing a manager mid-season is the wrong call 90% of the time 5) Mckennie's next move should be to Borussia Dortmund 6) Arsene Wenger once said Arsenal is at a disadvantage over Manchester United because it has more derbys.
