(00:00-35:22) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Derek Schultz, and producer Eddie Garrison welcoming Derek to the company. After the welcome party, they debate when the hype around Caitlin Clark will start to settle down with the Indiana Fever struggling still. Bob Kravitz joins the show to share his thoughts on signing Pascal Siakam to a max contract extension, asks Jake and Derek if it would make sense to trade Andrew Nembhard or Bennedict Mathurin in order to get another star player in the blue and gold, states that the Pacers need to go out and get somebody that specializes in rebounding and be an enforcer like Antonio Davis or Dale Davis, and assesses how the franchise should evaluate the season. (35:22-46:51) – Following their conversation with Bob Kravitz, Jake and Derek allow listeners to call in to pick their brains and reminisce on old times when the two used to host a show daily. (46:51-50:47) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Derek receiving a text from someone they used to work with back in the day that leads to Derek admitting that he accidentally had a pair of pants shipped to the building after he was let go. (50:47-1:13:52) – Hour number two with Jake Query and Derek Schultz starts with the two discussing the Western Conference Finals game last night between the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves because Jake doesn't think the series is over just yet. Following that conversation, they discuss the Eleven Park and MLS Stadium news that came out last night. (1:13:52-1:31:59) – Senior NBA Insider, Mike Scotto, from Hoops Hype joins Query & Company with Jake Query and Derek Schultz to share his thoughts on the season the Indiana Pacers had, weighs in on the Pascal Siakam max contract debate, lists the decisions that the front office have to make in the near future with some of their young players, and agrees with Derek that the Pacers getting rid of their first round pick in this draft for Siakam was a great decision with how weak this draft is. (1:31:59-1:37:08) – The second hour of the program concludes with Jake sharing a couple texts he has received with the reunion of Query & Schultz. (1:38:32-2:03:05) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files and 1075thefan.com joins Jake and Derek to reveal his thoughts on people complaining about the job that Christie Sides has done with Caitlin Clark to start her rookie year, tries to provide a player comparison for Jarace Walker if he develops into the player that the Pacers hope he can be, and then examines the back half of the roster with the two-way contracts since the Pacers have three second round picks. (2:13:35-2:23:13) – Jake and Derek discuss the news from earlier in the day that all the charges on Scottie Scheffler will be dropped. Additionally, they compare the situation that the Indiana Pacers are in with Pascal Siakam to the situation the Indianapolis Colts were in with Michael Pittman Jr. (2:23:13-2:30:58) – Today's show ends with Jake, Derek, and JMV debating if people ever use the term ‘midtown' besides Derek. Additionally, JMV asks if today brought back some memories of them doing the show together back in the day.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In Episode 1345, Sean Woodley is joined by Joey Devine (Roundball Rock) to grade every Toronto Raptors All-Star, Dunk Contest and 3-Point Contest participant in franchise history on a scale of 0 to 5 Jamario Moons. Off the top, Sean and Joey discuss their favourite elements of All-Star Weekend before grading Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry on their generall All-Starness. Is Siakam only at this year's event in Salt Lake City out of obligation? And just how wrong can Joey be in his assessment of Kyle Lowry drawing All-Star charges? Next, they run through and hand out grades to Fred VanVleet, Kawhi Leonard, DeMar DeRozan, Chris Bosh, Antonio Davis and Vince Carter, the latter of whom might be the single greatest All-Star in the history of All-Stars. Lastly, Sean and Joey hand bust out the Moon Scale once again to grade the Dunk Contest performances of Vince, Tracy McGrady, Jamario Moon, DeMar DeRozan and Terrence Ross before assessing the 3-Point Contest acumen of Walt Williams, Jason Kapono, Kyle Lowry, Danny Green and Fred VanVleet, before grading the Raptors franchise as a whole for its contributions to NBA All-Star lore.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar. The Knicks and Pacers faced each other in five different playoff series in the 1990s highlighted by a seven game thrillers in the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals and 1995 Eastern Conference Finals. Al Harrington was such a basketball late bloomer in high school, his own mother wouldn't come to his games. What was the point if her son was riding the bench? But hard work and a growth spurt turned Al Harrington from so-so hooper to the nation's top high school player by his senior year. In '98, he was a McDonalds All-American, and the Gatorade and USA Today Player of the Year. Drafted out of high school in the 1st round pick by the Indiana Pacers. Harrington reveals the profane warning that Larry Bird, the Pacers Head Coach, barked at him when he showed up late for his first team meeting. Harrington describes what he learned from veteran teammates like Antonio Davis and Reggie Miller that helped forge professional habits over his 16-year NBA career with multiple teams. Harrington talks to Rich and Gianni about his surprising entry point into the cannabis business, which began with Harrington's search for ways to help his grandmother, Viola, cope with her glaucoma and diabetes symptoms. Harrington later met with then-NBA commissioner, David Stern, and managed to change Stern's opinion about the dangers of cannabis. That meeting paved the way for the NBA to set the tone for how pro leagues take a more tolerant stance on marijuana use by players. In this powerful episode, Harrington drops many gems, including his stunning estimate of the number of NBA players who used marijuana when he started in the league in the late ‘90s, a number he believes has held steady to this day. In Episode 819, Sean and Vivek Jacob dig into part two of Sean's updated Ranking Every Raptor column for Raptors HQ. Today it's all about the top-75, and more notable, the seven core players from this and last year's Raptors teams who are now all situated in the franchise's all-time top-25. They debate the merits of where OG Anunoby (19th) should sit compared to Marc Gasol (24th), who has far less time spent with the team but was essential to the title run that OG missed. Next they take a look at Serge Ibaka (10th) and Fred VanVleet (13th) and try to sort out whether one, both, or neither should be ahead of Antonio Davis (11th) and Amir Johnson (12th). Lastly, they discuss Pascal Siakam (6th), the degree to which his post-season struggles this year should have affected his standing, and the likelihood of him passing the guys in front of him in the 5th through 2nd range: Chris Bosh, DeMar DeRozan, Vince Carter and Kawhi Leonard. Of course, Kyle Lowry is the undisputed number one, but you knew that.Read the piece here: https://www.raptorshq.com/2020/11/4/21545254/ranking-every-raptor-version-3-0-run-it-back-toronto-raptors-lowrySupport Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! In 1998, Al was drafted straight out of High School by the Indiana Pacers, only to have his Rookie Year brought to a standstill by the longest lockout in NBA history. Al Harrington joins the guys on the final episode of Season 2 of Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles. The well-respected league vet talks about what it was like to go from a “clumsy, chubby” freshman to athletic beast early on in high school. The guys then reminisce about their AAU battles, and Al describes the moment when he put himself on the map. He also discusses skipping out on college, then delves into his first year in the league — specifically how, thanks to bizarre circumstances, he wound up living with veteran Antonio Davis. From there, he goes deep on those early Pacers teams — including what it was like to be hazed by Reggie Miller and how Mark Jackson was “his vet” — then describes the fun times he had on the Warriors squads he played for and what it was like to upset the No. 1 seed Mavericks in 2007. Q then gets into his time with Al on the Knicks, saying how Al was the most excited person to be playing in NYC but that, unfortunately, by the time he left he was clearly run down. Al then goes into his post-playing career, describing his role as an advocate for marijuana and his conversation with David Stern about the use of cannabis in the league. He also touches on his very tight relationship with Stephen Jackson, aka Stak. These three have known each other since they were young’uns, so get ready for some classic stories.
Antonio Davis, the 13 year NBA veteran joins Mike Wise to discuss a number of issues from his new role with the Players Union to his "cerebral tough guy" style as a player, to the issues affecting players who leave the game. Antonio discusses his own struggles after his career ended and the program he is setting up with the union to help former players navigate the challenges of their lives after basketball. And he also tells a surprising story about his college coach Don Haskins regarding the 1966 UTEP National Championship team and the legendary "All African American" starting lineup.
Former Toronto Raptors Forward Antonio Davis joined Game Day to help promote the 2019 Tournament of Stars here in Toronto. He touched on what he would tell Kawhi in weighing his free agency decision, as well what he thinks of James Dolan and his job with the Knicks franchise
